Wordwall Media Game In Mastery Of Arabic Vocabulary

<p style="text-align: justify;">This study aims to provide insights into innovative, creative, and educational approaches in Arabic language learning in the digital era, with a focus on using Wordwall as a medium for mastering Arabic vocabulary. The study employs a qualitative research design through a library research approach, utilizing data from literature that discusses the use of Wordwall games in Arabic language education. Data collection techniques include documentation of journals related to Wordwall, while the data analysis technique used is content analysis. The findings of the study indicate that Wordwall is effective in enhancing students' ability to recall and comprehend Arabic vocabulary. The application offers various engaging features, such as diverse game templates, the ability to edit and customize content, and ease of sharing activities, all of which can motivate students and facilitate the understanding of complex concepts. Therefore, the use of Wordwall has proven to overcome challenges in teaching Arabic vocabulary and contribute to improving students' learning outcomes. The implication is that using Wordwall can help both students and educators achieve more effective and innovative learning goals in this digital era.</p>

Application of neural networks in the educational process

In the era of digitalization, technologies have reached great heights. Neural networks are used in almost all spheres of human activity; education is no exception. Neural networks are mathematical models that simulate the functions of the human brain. Using such a tool as a neural network allows you to significantly improve the educational process, make it more effective in modern realities, increase the cognitive activity of students and provide an opportunity for the development of creative potential. This article describes the advantages of neural networks in their application in the educational process, as well as provides examples of their use in teaching.

High subjective socioeconomic status positively predicts the willingness to disclose privacy

In the digital era, consumers' information has become a vital marketing asset. Despite the potential risks associated with compromising privacy, some consumers willingly permit companies to collect their data. As consumers with more resources may face more significant consequences if their privacy is compromised, it is important to understand the privacy disclosure intent of consumers with high socioeconomic status. We conducted two studies, in the United States (n = 284) and China (n = 303). We found that high subjective (but not objective) socioeconomic status positively predicted participants' tendency to report their personal information in the consumer survey, with this relationship being mediated by higher levels of interpersonal trust. This is the first study to examine the relationship between subjective socioeconomic status and personal information disclosure. As such, it contributes to expanding existing research domains while also offering valuable insights into marketing strategies aimed at safeguarding consumer privacy.

The impact of China’s big data pilot zone policy on public service quality: a mixed methods study

ABSTRACT The digital transformation of public service delivery is an important trend in the digital era; however, whether and how digital policy can improve public service quality (PSQ) remain unclear. Moreover, most studies on China’s big data pilot zone (BDPZ) digital policy have focused on economic and environmental aspects, with less attention given to its social impacts. This research designed a mixed methods study through DID and semi-structured interviews to analyse the relationship between the BDPZ digital policy and PSQ. This study proved that the BDPZ digital policy can significantlfy improve PSQ and that there are mediating effects through technology innovation and digital governance. Moreover, the technology innovation effect was due to the BDPZ policy making public service data more standardized, clear and traceable, and the digital governance effect was based on the linking mechanism and integrating mechanism. This study reveals the social impacts of the BDPZ policy and explains why technology innovation and digital governance are essential for improving public service quality.

User Satisfaction and Challenges in Plavon Dukcapil Online Services

Results: Findings indicate that although service productivity aligns with regulations, efficiency is hindered by incomplete documentation and delays. Community satisfaction is compromised as many residents prefer in-person services over online options. Novelty: This study offers new insights into the operational challenges of e-government in rural Indonesia and highlights the need for improved community engagement. Implications: Enhancing communication and technical support for users, especially the elderly, could significantly improve the effectiveness and satisfaction of Plavon Dukcapil services, fostering better public service delivery in the digital era. TEACHER COMPETENCE IN THE DIGITAL ERA A PHENOMENOLOGICAL STUDY

This study aims to understand teachers' experiences in developing their digital competence in the era of educational digitalization through a phenomenological approach. The research focuses on the factors influencing teachers' digital competence, the challenges they face, and the role of institutional support such as schools, education policies, and professional training. The research method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach, where data is collected through in-depth interviews with participating teachers and field observations. The data is then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques to identify key themes that emerge from the teachers' subjective experiences. The findings show that teachers' digital competence is influenced by access to technological infrastructure, prior experience with technology, and institutional support. Teachers in urban areas are generally better prepared to face digitalization compared to teachers in remote areas, who experience limitations in technological access. Additionally, relevant professional training and supportive education policies play a crucial role in enhancing teachers' digital competence. However, challenges such as psychological pressure and ethical dilemmas in maintaining social interaction with students also emerge as barriers in this adaptation process. In conclusion, holistic support, both technical and emotional, is essential to help teachers effectively develop their digital competence.

In the context of the digital transformation of modern society, the study of the problem of introducing artificial intelligence into all spheres of life, including the sphere of economics and finance, is extremely relevant. The purpose of this article is an attempt to analyze the readiness of future economists in the school-university system to use artificial intelligence in the context of developing digital financial literacy. The authors studied the nature of the influence of artificial intelligence on the formation of basic competencies necessary in the era of digitalization of economic education, through the prism of the views of the younger generation. The importance of various aspects of the digital transformation of society, which are in the focus of attention of global cooperation organizations (UNESCO, World Bank, etc.) in the interests of sustainable development, is noted. Using Google-Forms tools, a sociological survey was conducted among students of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation (Omsk branch) and students of specialized economic classes at Gymnasium 19 in the city of Omsk on the topic “The attitude of future economists to the use of artificial intelligence in the banking sector.” The results of the analysis of the obtained empirical data made it possible to state the complex and ambiguous nature of the influence of artificial intelligence on the young generation of future economists in the conditions of total digitalization. Along with the positive attitude of young people towards the prospects for the introduction of artificial intelligence, the risks of a decrease in natural intelligence against the backdrop of digitalization reaching all spheres of life have been identified. This, in turn, requires the formation of value guidelines and the development of a strategy for the continuous development of future economists in the digital society in the context of the active implementation of artificial intelligence.

Arduino Based Automatic Door Lock Design Using Personal Identification Number Pin

Current developments require more innovation in everyday life, one of which is home or office door security. Initially, home or office door security was only with ordinary padlocks or door keys found in most houses in Indonesia which had shortcomings in terms of security and effectiveness. In the current era of digitalization, almost every line of human activity is no exception, technology is currently continuously developing more rapidly. This can be observed through the many sophisticated equipment that utilizes technology so that the work system can run automatically. Of course, this makes it much easier for someone to carry out their activities and the work they do is also more efficient. This research aims to design a door lock system that is able to increase security, effectiveness and comfort in accessing rooms, both home and office. This system utilizes an Arduino microcontroller as the brain of the system, a keypad as input for entering the PIN code. Users are allowed to open the door simply by entering a predetermined PIN code. The main advantage of this system is its ease of use and a better level of security compared to conventional door locks. The results of this research are a pin-based door lock system using Arduino and keypad. This system uses the Arduino IDE development application for writing program code and Proteus for work simulation.

To participate or not to participate? Influence mechanism of artificial intelligence on Chinese college students’ willingness to participate in online politics

This study probes the mechanism of artificial intelligence’s (AI’s) influence on Chinese college students’ willingness to participate in online politics and constructs a theoretical model based on the theory of planned behavior. Through the analysis of questionnaire data acquired from up to 317 Chinese college students in total, it turns out that the use of AI affects Chinese college students’ willingness to the participation of online political practice significantly and positively, and such online political participation cognition of Chinese college students plays a mediating role, three aspects of which included as the followings on behavioral attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control. Additionly, media literacy level plays a moderating role in online political participation cognition and willingness to participate. All the findings highlight the importance of optimizing the online political participation environment, enhancing college students’ cognition of political participation, and improving media literacy in the context of the digital era, which provides practical guidance for promoting healthy and positive online political participation among college students.

Australian radiographers’ digital era practice in selecting the image receptor angle for female body habitus for the mediolateral oblique view of the breast

IntroductionCorrect alignment of the image receptor (IR) in mammography for the mediolateral oblique (MLO) view of the breast is fundamental to enable the maximum inclusion of breast tissue. This study aims to assess Australian radiographers' knowledge and digital era practice in selecting the IR angle for female body habitus in the MLO view of the breast. MethodsAn online survey was distributed to all members of the Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (ASMIRT) through their electronic newsletter and via direct email to radiographers holding the Certificate of Mammographic Practice (CMP). Descriptive analysis was undertaken, and a Pearson's chi-squared test of independence was used to compare associations between academic qualification and IR selection data. A value of p < 0.05 was deemed statistically significant. ResultsA total of 107 valid surveys were returned; 67.3 % reported using the posterior lateral margin to select the IR angle. For linear body habitus, 44.9 % reported using 50°; for all other body habitus, participants most commonly used 45° (59.1 %); 85.1 % used a range of angles between 40 and 55°; 16.8 % recognised the link between correct IR angle selection and breast tissue inclusion. ConclusionThe range of angles used in practice has reduced in the digital era; the frequency of the use of 45° across all body habitus may reflect tube angle movement automation. Few radiographers recognised the important link between correct selection of IR angle and breast tissue inclusion on the image. Implications for practiceUnderstanding of the link between IR angle selection and image quality enhances current practice in the digital era to maximise the inclusion of breast tissue and minimise the potential of missed breast cancer.

Teaching reading in digital era: Exploring Indonesian in-service teachers’ perceptions and challenges

This illustrative case study investigation was conducted to learn how Indonesian in-service teachers perceived teaching reading in a digital era and the challenges they encountered. The data were submitted by a total of 30 teachers who participated in the subject post for Indonesian junior high schools. Data collection strategies include participatory classroom observation, interviews, and guided written reflection. The data were analyzed using the constant comparative method. The study’s findings highlight issues concerning teachers’ perceptions and teachers’ challenges while teaching reading in a digital setting. As many as 63% of teachers believe that the proportion of time teachers spend to practice reading skills from online sources is 40%–50% of total teaching hours at school. Furthermore, 40% of them believe that the criteria for teacher success in reading is when pupils improve their reading comprehension skills. The analysis also revealed that teachers encountered a number of challenges: (1) lack of knowledge about models and media for learning to read in a digital context, (2) lack of students’ ability to read multi-text sources, and (3) lack of motivation and awareness among students in reading. The findings of this study impact the understanding and training requirements of junior high school teachers concerning reading instruction methods in a digital context. Future studies should focus on innovation and the development of learning models to improve the quality of reading comprehension in a digital environment.

Strategies to enhance the corporate innovation resilience in digital era: A cross-organizational collaboration perspective

The current economic environment is characterized by increasing uncertainty, while digitalization has led to profound transformations in both the economy and society. There is a pressing need to conduct an in-depth investigation into the specific effects of cross-organizational cooperation on firms' innovation resilience (FIR) in the digital era, as well as the underlying mechanisms driving these effects. This study utilizes panel data encompassing 30 Chinese provinces and municipalities, intending to analyze the impact of market-based and science-based cross-organizational cooperation on FIR and explore the heterogeneity of this impact. Moreover, the study examines the mediating and moderating mechanisms that influence the relationship between cross-organizational cooperation and FIR. The findings indicate that both market-based cooperation, including cooperation with suppliers (CS) and cooperation with customers (CC), and science-based industry-university-research cooperation (IURC) significantly enhance FIR, with science-based IURC demonstrating the most pronounced effect. Additionally, it is revealed that the impact of market-based and science-based cross-organizational cooperation exhibits spatial heterogeneity in promoting FIR. Market-based and science-based cross-organizational cooperation effectively improves enterprise liquidity, enhances operational efficiency, and consequently enhances innovation resilience (IR). Moreover, the positive impact of cross-organizational cooperation on FIR is amplified by increasing the degree of digital transformation and digital technological innovation.

Synergy between multidimensional intellectual capital and digital knowledge management: Uncovering innovation performance complexities

This paper aims to deepen our understanding of the contingency and complex interrelations between multidimensional intellectual capital (IC), technology-based knowledge management (KM), and innovation outcomes in the rapidly changing business environment. More particularly, we investigate causal recipes for high innovation performance consisting of traditional IC components (human capital, structural capital, relational capital), the three more recently emerging IC dimensions (renewal capital, entrepreneurial capital, trust capital), and digital KM practices. This study adopts neo-configurational perspective and fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) to explore multiple conjunctural causations of innovation performance using survey data collected from 102 publicly listed enterprises in Taiwan. Although the four identified archetypes (causal recipes) indicate that all IC dimensions and digital KM are potential collaborators contributing to high innovation performance, they also emphasize the critical role of digital KM in leveraging relational and trust capital for superior innovation performance. Human, structural, entrepreneurial, and renewal capital seems to be a supporting chorus for open and collaborative innovations in the digital era.

Digital transformation technologies for conveyor belts predictive maintenance: a review

The availability of condition-monitoring data has increased due to internet of things (IoT) technologies, providing information on various parameters like vibration, temperature, current, and voltage. Cloud computing and big data facilitate the prevention of failures and estimation of remaining useful life through advanced mathematical models and artificial intelligence (AI) techniques. These enable prompt and suitable maintenance actions. This article conducts a systematic review of digital transformation technologies, including cloud computing, edge computing, AI, machine learning (ML), and TinyML, in predictive maintenance for conveyor belt systems. This article reviews how these digital transformation technologies improve predictive maintenance strategies for conveyor belts. The systematic review summarizes the results and challenges of various methodologies used in conveyor belt systems and suggests areas for further research. This paper aimed to serve as a useful resource for researchers, practitioners, and industry professionals seeking insights into current predictive maintenance technologies for conveyor belt systems. The takeaways of the review are expected to ignite discussion on efficient and proactive maintenance strategies and promote the development of innovative solutions for ensuring the reliability and longevity of conveyor belt systems in the digital era.

Microtia and Social Media: How Can We Help Our Patients?

In today's digital era, the intersection of social media and healthcare has emerged as a valuable tool for medical communication and education. However, the use of social media among microtia families has not been thoroughly explored in literature. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the presence of microtia surgeons on social media, the attitudes of microtia families towards physician social media use, and the motivations behind social media usage among microtia families. This study employed a cross-sectional survey methodology. Self-administered questionnaires were used to assess microtia families present in dedicated Instagram and Facebook groups, whereas the presence of microtia surgeons was assessed through responses from an official WhatsApp group. The findings reveal a significant disparity between the demand for microtia surgeons' social media presence and their actual engagement. Although 90.5% of microtia family respondents believed that microtia surgeons should have a presence on social media platforms, only 46.0% of microtia surgeons maintained an active presence. Of microtia families, 55% expressed that they used social media both to facilitate interactions with other families and explore treatment options. Microtia surgeons more often utilized Instagram and Twitter than microtia families. Of microtia families, 40.5% reported using a combination of social media platforms, most often Facebook. This study underscores the increasing reliance on social media for medical information. By increasing their social media presence, microtia surgeons can not only enhance patient education and satisfaction but also contribute to the broader landscape of medical communication and education in the digital age.
