Digital Transformation Acceleration Policy in Indonesia (Study on the Implementation of all in One Indramayu Information Technology in Indramayu Regency)

Technology plays an important role in keeping society's activities running as they should. The practice of using information technology for the community is directed at increasing the reliability of community service technology, the effectiveness and efficiency of receiving services by the community. This study uses descriptive qualitative, where in data collection using secondary data in the form of documentation at the research location. The data analysis technique is a descriptive analysis technique, in which the analysis is carried out to be able to explain the Application of All In One Information Technology in Improving Public Services in Indramayu Regency. The results of the research show that the application of All In One Information Technology in Indramayu Regency. There are several inhibiting factors both in socialization and application implementation including internal and external factors, internal factors.

‘QRIS Cross Border’ as Digital Financial Inclusion Acceleration in Southeast Asia

This study aims to examine economic issues in a number of countries, specifically the number of unbanked individuals who contribute to economic stagnation. In addition, several Southeast Asian nations have begun to adopt digital financial services (digital finance). Digital Financial Inclusion has positive effects on MSMEs, including financial transactions and documenting transactions, obtaining financial assistance from bank and non-bank institutions, and digital finance is viewed as more reliable by the public due to its reliance on artificial intelligence. The development of QRIS, which began in Indonesia, is anticipated to result in digital economic adjustments for Southeast Asian nations. This study employs descriptive qualitative methodology, which describes extant phenomena. The findings of this study indicate that the application of digital finance, particularly QRIS as a game-changer, can increase efficiency and make cross-border payments more inclusive. Due to the existence of QRIS, the community is able to make cross-border remittances and increase the country's foreign exchange and trade balance.

Avoiding crisis-driven business failure through digital dynamic capabilities. B2B distribution firms during the COVID-19 and beyond

Previous research has proposed different determinants of the success and failure of technological innovation in industrial networks. However, following the recent COVID-19 pandemic crisis, distributors have been seeking to become more agile in identifying and transforming business processes to avoid failures. Although industrial practitioners have been broadly motivated to understand the effects of pandemics on business failure, the contingency factors that affect organizations in their responses to such sudden exogenous shocks remain unclear. Inspired by a burgeoning academic interest in viewing the COVID-19 pandemic as a digital accelerator, this paper examines how B2B distribution firms have been avoiding business failure by using their dynamic capabilities (DCs) in response to the sudden exogenous shocks caused by the pandemic. Based on data drawn from interviews conducted with a sample of B2B distribution firms, we argue that capitalizing on digital DCs—digital sensing (i.e., digital mindset crafting and digital scenario planning), digital seizing (i.e., engaging in strategic agility and balancing a digital portfolio), and digital transformation (i.e., navigating the innovation ecosystem, redesigning the internal structure, and improving digital maturity), —helps to prevent business failure during a pandemic.

Digital acceleration: How to build a robust enterprise data framework

This paper addresses data as a corporate asset that needs to be protected, but also shared and made accessible. The paper recognises data's role as the bedrock of the analytics that drive business decisions and that should be gathered routinely during normal, transactional operations. The paper acknowledges that the volume and sources of data and its users are diverse, global and continue to multiply. This, in turn, identifies the need for flexibility to design and develop a scalable model for data management that will support future growth and risk management capabilities. This paper outlines how to build a data framework, recognises the scale and complexity of the problem and recommends courses of action. These recommendations include data scoping, awareness of context, the wider macro trends and pressures, goal definition and the need to be outcome led. The paper further identifies that although most firms are already at some stage of their digital journey, there is no real ‘end goal’; it is a constant process. To successfully build a robust enterprise data framework, it therefore becomes crucial to work diligently and understand the steps required. The paper discusses approaches, pitfalls and the constantly evolving solution landscape. The paper concludes that the journey to a robust data management framework is complex, but, through embracing digital acceleration, it is possible to gain the competitive advantage to which the framework aspires.

Optimalisasi Kompetensi Individu di Era Pandemi melalui Edukasi Daring

The pandemic situation and digital acceleration have altered ideas on the significance of competence. Various offline restrictions that occur can be utilized to maximize previously acquired competencies. Individuals are responsible for their competency development and must take the initiative to use it. However, this does not preclude the potential that this may occur in response to commands from superiors. This community service aims to provide education on how to maximize competency and the types of activities that may be conducted via the online platform Zoom. A total of 97 workers or employees from various fields participated in the activity. The effectiveness of the activity can be determined by evaluating the activity's participants. According to the evaluation results, 88.2% of the participants thought there was greater insight regarding relevant competencies. The following recommendation for education providers is to investigate offline implementation if situations permit overcoming the restrictions of resource-participant contact.

Analysis of Croatian public museums’ digital initiatives amid COVID-19 and recommendations for museum management and governance

The COVID-19 pandemic has presented challenges for public museums in Croatia. This study examines how museum management and professionals have responded to the closure of museums during the pandemic by exploring digital initiatives and online engagement with remote audiences. The authors analysed data from 162 Croatian museums registered in the Museum Documentation Centre in Zagreb to investigate the relationship between socioeconomic and demographic indicators and museums’ digital activities using multiple regression analysis. The findings revealed that half of the museums in the sample were active online, with social media being a commonly used platform. Interestingly, museums with a stronger online presence, lower regional unemployment rates, and a lower tourism development index were more likely to engage in activities during the pandemic. The authors conclude with recommendations for museum management and governance to embrace digital acceleration and adapt to the digital age. The study findings hold significant relevance for museums preparing for future pandemics or crises as they highlight the importance of digital initiatives and online presence in ensuring continued engagement with audiences during periods of closure. By leveraging digital tools and platforms, museums can overcome physical limitations and effectively reach remote audiences, thereby enhancing their resilience and adaptability in times of crisis. This study contributes to the understanding of museums’ digital transformation in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and provides valuable insights for museum practitioners, policy-makers, and researchers to shape future strategies. Further research could explore the long-term impacts of digital initiatives on museums’ sustainability and visitor engagement beyond the pandemic context.

Testing accountants' perceptions of the digitization of the profession and profiling the future professional

In the context of businesses shifting into the virtual environment, the increasing importance of IT skills as a result of the acceleration of the digitalization of accounting on the one hand, and the overlapping crises on the other, the accounting profession was forced to rapidly adopt innovative digital measures to meet these challenges. Through empirical research based on a questionnaire structured on four categories of influencing factors, we investigated professional accountants' perceptions of their readiness for further training in light of new labor market trends. Our analysis reveals that readiness for further training and adherence to the accounting profession in the context of digitization are influenced by several factors. First, it is influenced by respondents' perceptions of the ease of using digital tools, the level of performance achieved, expected effort and situational factors such as organizational culture and regulatory policies. Second, concerns about the acceleration of digitalization, perceived threats associated with potential job losses from the replacement of humans by artificial intelligence as well as accidental exposure of data due to the loss of control and therefore causing errors in measurement and reporting.

Stability Analysis of a One Degree of Freedom Robot Model With Sampled Digital Acceleration Feedback Controller in Turning and Milling

Abstract This study is interested in the stability of robots in machining. The goal is to improve the dynamic performance of robots using an additional acceleration signal fed back through the conventional built-in proportional-derivative controller provided by the manufacturer. The structure of the robot is modelled with a simple one degree-of-freedom lumped model and the control signals are fed back via a linear spring and damping. The time delays of the feedback controllers are considered as zero-order holds, which results in sawtooth-like time-periodic time delays. The resulting equation of motion is an advanced delay differential equation. The semidiscretization method is shown for such systems having multiple sampled digital delays and continuous delays. First, we establish the stable regions in the plane of the sampling delay and the gain of the acceleration signal without machining. Then, we show the possibility to improve stability in turning and milling using the additional acceleration feedback controller compared to the cases without any controller or using only the built-in proportional-derivative controller.

Digital Citizens: Efforts to Accelerate Digital Transformation

Digital transformation acceleration in Indonesia needs to be balanced with the civilization of its citizens. This research is an attempt to present a summary of empirical findings from high literature in the field of digital transformation acceleration. A critical review was carried out in 35 articles from 2017 to 2023 and focused on the progress of research on digital transformation acceleration. The literature review critically sees and conducts evaluations related to the digital literacy of citizens, digital transformation in Indonesia, and efforts to improve the character of citizens to be in harmony with digital acceleration. Digital literacy citizens are determined by several indicators of cognitive capabilities, maintaining data security, media use ethics, and collaboration and increasing digital literacy carried out starting from intense training, the formation of digital regulations, acceleration of community literacy, and the formation of third literacy space. Digital transformation in Indonesia occurs in various domains of life such as education, business, banking, and government. Analysis of efforts to improve the character of citizens in digital space can be done with citizenship education to be able to increase the value of community concern and responsibility. The implication of this finding shows that the acceleration of digital transformation must be balanced with Indonesian citizens. This can be realized with a joint effort of all components, families, schools, communities, and countries. Overall, this research can provide appropriate references for further research by looking at the Digital Citizenship implementation towards an intelligent and character society.

SWOT Analysis: Strategies for Supporting the Economy of Kediri Post-Covid-19 Pandemic

AbstractionThe success of economic development has indicators of economic factors and non-economic factors. The impact of the corona has made the Indonesian economy slump. The business world in various sectors, including trade, industry, and services, has also felt the impact of Covid 19. Various strategies have been carried out to maintain economic activity so that it continues to exist. The purpose of this study was to analyze the state of the city of Kediri after the covid 19 pandemic and to analyze the implementation of SWOT analysis to maintain the economy of the city of Kediri after the covid 19 pandemic. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. The results of this study indicate that the economic growth of the City of Kediri in 2021 has increased by 2.50%. The application of the Kediri City SWOT analyst in maintaining the economy after the COVID-19 pandemic is that the advantages include the cooperation between the city government and the cities/regencies of Blitar and Madiun, MSMEs, farmers, communities, zakat management institutions and banking institutions in the city of Kediri. The existence of a service city by carrying out digital acceleration comprehensively. The weakness is to avoid the gratification of cooperation with zakat management institutions to distribute donations. The decline in Gudang Garam cigarette sales. The stock of sugar and eggs in the city of Kediri is limited. Opportunities include the application of digitalization to MSMEs to increase sales turnover. Фокус пріоритетів індустрії Х.0 та її анатомія в умовах цифровізації економічних відносин

The emergence of Industry X.0 by digitizing economic relations at different levels of economic aggregation implies a complex and systematic modernization of business processes, thereby accelerating innovation of the national economy. Considering the existing scientific developments in the development of Industry X.0, the transformation of existing business processes under the influence of the latest technologies and the formation of smart assets, e-services for smart businesses and e-government are unexplored. On the basis of dialectical, systemic and matrix methods Industry X.0 was investigated, and found that it determines new quality and format of business operation in gig economy. Comparisons of ratings of innovative development that influence the acceleration of digitalization in some countries have been used.
 The structural elements of the ecosystem of Industry X.0 are presented, and it is proved that they determine an effective digital economic relation that shape gig economy, as a result of step-by-step content of the stages of becoming smart business, assets, digital platforms. Tools and mechanisms that will accelerate the emergence of Industry X.0 have been identified. The content of the concept “ecosystem of Industry X.0” is disclosed. A number of practical measures are proposed, aimed at deepening the development of high-tech industries and expanding new quality of life of people. Main characteristics that determine the emergence of smart industry and smart services are indicated.
 A number of the latest technologies (autonomous artificial intelligence in a smartphone, professional assistant robots, available satellite Internet, the flourishing of audiobooks and podcasts, the bicycle technological revolution) that define a new quality of people's lives are highlighted and their characteristics are given.
 The rapid emergence of Industry X.0 declares new quality of economic relations through innovation, discoveries and technologies in management of industry and business. Key features of Industry X.0 include: full automation of the production process; high communication between staff and machine through Internet technologies; cyber-physical systems that integrate into one network, interact in real-time, self-tune, self-study.

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN MASS MEDIA AND COMMUNICATION WITH THE PROCESS OF THE DWELLING OF HUNGARIAN IMMIGRANTS IN THE SOUTH OF BRAZIL

This work aims to answer the questions of, what is the communication and mass media role in the process of settling down in a new landscape through analysis of the publications and communications in the medium newspapers, ranging the year from 1921 to 1989. The main newspaper this research focuses on is the "O Correio do Povo" which is the main local newspaper of the city of Jaraguá do Sul, also the "Jaraguá: Seminarios Nacionalistas" another newspaper that circulated for a few years in the city. Thus, the focus is on reporting and analyzing the newspaper advertisements and reports, to answer the questions of, what is the communication and mass media role in the process of settling down in a new landscape by the Hungarian immigrants in the South of Brazil. Based on archive research, focused on the role of the media in the process of immigration and colonization in Jaraguá do Sul. The timeline range covers the propaganda made for the arrival of Europeans to the south - before 1891 as presented in books -, going through the publications in the local newspapers from 1921 to 1989. Finally, a brief introduction was made about the nowadays publications, reinforcing the role of the newspaper in remembering, which generates questions about its new roles in society under a digital acceleration. The whole analysis brought up also the main values and needs of the community during the first decades, through the portrait of the current in the past, which the newspaper helped to compose. Such aspects will help in the reflection of future analyses on how it was reflected in the local architecture.

Career management in digital age: a study of leadership’s competencies and practices applied for IT professionals

Purpose: this research seeks to identify the main competencies and career management practices applied by leaders of large IT services organizations, highlighting them in degrees of relevance for career guidance for technical teams between Generations X and Y coexisting in the Digital Age. Additionally, the research factors a major transformation in the work relationships environment, turning to the full remote mode, besides the digital acceleration caused by the coronavirus pandemic in Brazil during 2020. Design/Methodology/approach: the research was carried out with a qualitative methodology, with in-depth interviews with a semi-structured script, portraying the experiences of top leaders. Findings: highlights as relevant competencies: the importance of the manager's role as to career guidance, management skills of generational expectations, leadership style oriented to the knowledge worker, besides the affiliative aspects in the relationship with the employees. As for management practices, highlights: training diagnostic, frequent communication, promotion of talents with high potential, adaptation of career plans, adoption of a differentiated coaching process for each generation and, above all, encouragement of the employee's protagonism throughout the career planning process. Research limitations: the study has limitations regarding companies’ profiles with restricted instruments related to human resources’ methodologies, proper people’s development tools, or internal support developing talent and minimum maturity processes for managers leading career development counting with Information Technology business orientation in Brazil. Originality/value: significant contribution regarding career management in a remote work environment with 2 generations co-existing in an accelerated digitalization season.

The acceleration of digitalization and post-truth debates due to the pandemic process focuses on technology and its effects. As the order evolves from the known universe to the Metaverse, individuals are also in the middle of a centralization where one single instrument controls everything with technological proximity. Centralization forces everyone into a more accessible and efficient communication process by consolidating many possibilities into a single device, but it also makes the spread of information faster and more uncontrolled than ever, diminishing the importance of truth. This post-truth world creates individuals who create their reality, impacting the growth of individuals the most. Cyberbullying emerges at this point, endangering children and teenagers' development and mental health. From a media perspective, technological advancements do not guarantee correct information dissemination. As the spread rate and opportunities increase, so do false information and news. It triggers the spread of false information, fake news, and cyberbullying when the truth is irrelevant. Therefore, the need for verifying information arises. Fact-checking methods are directly related to digital literacy and media literacy problems. Understanding how to verify the information and protect against false, deceptive, and fake news is crucial. The study examines two information verification platforms. Research findings reveal that news is verified by various methods and techniques using numerous tools by platforms, primarily by photo or video content, resulting in the detection of information distortions such as false connection and fabricated-manipulated content. The study also found that various photo/video verification tools and anonymous websites were frequently used.

SCENARIOS OF BUSINESS ENTITIES SOCIO-ECONOMIC INTERACTION IN THE CONTEXT OF GLOBAL CHALLENGES

Abstract. The coronavirus pandemic has become one of the greatest global challenges of our time, posing a significant threat to socio-political processes and requiring both government institutions and businesses to find ways to respond quickly and effectively. In the context of global challenges, the issue of forming scenarios of socio-economic interaction of business entities, research on changes in these scenarios due to the acceleration of digitalization and robotization of business and the transition to a remote format of work is especially relevant. The aim of the article is formation scenarios of business entities socio-economic interaction in the context of global challenges. The following methods were used to achieve the goal: abstract and logical, synergetic, statistical, comparative, horizontal, vertical, tabular, graphic, scenario methods. Results. The article defines the concept of scenario and scenario approach. It is noted that the scenarios for the development of the pandemic itself as a biological global challenge should be distinguished; scenarios of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on various spheres of social development; scenarios of doing business in a pandemic. Characteristics that can determine pandemic scenarios are considered. The pandemic impact scenarios provided by various international and national organizations and bodies and the change of these scenarios over time are analyzed. The forecast of GDP provided by different organizations is presented and in order to analyze the actual implementation of the forecast, a comparison of forecast values and real values of GDP, which was in 2020 and 2021 in fact. Macro indicators of economic and social development of Ukraine according to the main and alternative scenarios are analyzed. In developing scenarios of socio-economic cooperation in order to increase their effectiveness, it is proposed to take into account environmental factors (ecosystems), external and internal environments of the enterprise, in particular, take into account the scope of activities, size of the enterprise, regional location and regional differences, financial condition of entities during global challenges, flexibility of management, its ability to adapt and dynamism in response to challenges, the level of interaction of the business entity with public authorities and local governments (public-partnership relations), the level of corporate social responsibility, the desire to cooperate with employees, the public, to preserve the ecosystem, maintain employee health, charity, employee loyalty, etc. The practical significance of the research lies in the possibility of establishing effective interaction between business entities in the implementation of different scenarios in the context of global challenges. The development of scenarios and relevant strategies will make possible to renew the business in the long run after the crisis caused by such a global challenge as the COVID-19 pandemic, while maintaining control over the current situation, taking into account the requirements of rapid response. As part of further research, it is planned to develop scenarios for business entities socio-economic development and scenarios for their interaction within the implementation of existing business processes at the enterprise.

DIGITALISASI DAN PENGANGGURAN DI PEDESAAN JAWA TIMUR PADA MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 (STUDI KASUS PADA SEKTOR INFORMAL)

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused unemployment increase, but COVID-19 has also provided a digital acceleration boost. In 2020 East Java has highest rate of digital literacy. Using SAKERNAS 2020 data, This study employs logistic regression to determine how East Java's unemployment is affected by digitalization. This study indicated that East Java's unemployment rate was significantly and negatively impacted by digitization. Workers who can master information technology through use of the internet will have an impact on have a smaller tendency to become unemployed than those who cannot use the internet. In addition, other factors such as area of residence, employment sector, gender, training, pre-employment card ownership, education and migration also affect the tendency of the workforce to become unemployed.

Benchmarking a New Circular Cone-based Radiosurgery System against Clinically Tested Radiosurgery System on the same Novel Digital Linear Accelerator Platform.

To examine the dosimetric characteristics of circular cones, the accuracy of dose modeling and overall treatment delivery of two radiosurgery systems integrated on a linear accelerator (Linac). The dosimetric characteristics of circular cones (4-17.5 mm) from Varian (VC) and BrainLAB (BLC) were measured for 6 MV flattening filter free beam from Edge linac using stereotactic field diode and 0.65 cc ionization chamber following established protocols. The Eclipse and iPlan modeled dose distribution for VCs and BLCs were validated with EBT3-film measurement. End-to-end tests were performed using stereotactic phantom having PTW 60008 diode connected to a Dose-1 electrometer. The depth at dose maximum, TRP2010 and dose at 10cm depth of the same size VC and BLC agree within ± 0.7 mm, ± 0.71% and ± 0.81% respectively. Full width at half maximum (FWHM) of any cone beyond 15 mm depth increases at 1% of nominal cone size per 10 mm depth. The penumbra of 4mm and 17.5mm VC at 15 mm depth was 1.1 mm and 1.50 mm. At 300 mm depth, penumbra increased by around 0.4 mm for 4 mm cone and up to 1 mm for cone size ≥12.5 mm. The VCs penumbra values were within ±1mm of the corresponding BLCs. Scatter factors for VCs varies from 0.609 to 0.841 and were within ± 1.0% of corresponding values of BLCs. Agreement between the Eclipse and iPlan computed dose fluence and the EBT3-film measured dose fluence was >98% (γ: 1%@1 mm), and the absolute dose difference was ≤ 2.2%, except for the 4 mm cone in which it was >96% and ≤4.83%. Target localization using cone-beam computed tomography was accurate within ± 0.8 mm and ± 0.3° in translation and rotation. The end-to-end dose delivery accuracy for both radiosurgery systems was within ± 3.62%. The dosimetric characteristics of Varian and BLC cones of same diameter was comparable. Both Eclipse and iPlan cone planning system modeled dose fluences agree well with the EBT3 film measurement. The end-to-end tests revealed an excellent target localization accuracy of Edge linac with satisfactory and comparable absolute dose agreement between Varian and BLC radiosurgery systems and hence these can be interchanged on edge linac.

Offline Training-Based Mitigation of IR Drop for ReRAM-Based Deep Neural Network Accelerators

Recently, resistive RAM (ReRAM)-based hardware accelerators showed unprecedented performance compared the digital accelerators. Technology scaling causes an inevitable increase in interconnect wire resistance, which leads to IR drops that could limit the performance of ReRAM-based accelerators. These IR drops deteriorate the signal integrity and quality, especially in the crossbar structures which are used to build high-density ReRAMs. Hence, finding a software solution, which can predict the effect of IR drop without involving expensive hardware or SPICE simulations, is very desirable. In this article, we propose two neural networks models to predict the impact of the IR drop problem. These models are used to evaluate the performance of the different deep neural network (DNN) models including binary and quantized neural networks showing similar performance (i.e., recognition accuracy) to the golden validation (i.e., SPICE-based DNN validation). In addition, these predication models are incorporated into the DNN training framework to efficiently retrain the DNN models and bridge the accuracy drop. To further enhance the validation accuracy, we propose incremental training methods. The DNN validation results, done through SPICE simulations, show very high improvement in performance close to the baseline performance, which demonstrates the efficacy of the proposed method even with challenging datasets, such as CIFAR10 and SVHN.

Factors Associated With Diagnostic Error: An Analysis of Closed Medical Malpractice Claims.

Missed and delayed diagnoses have received substantial attention as a quality and patient safety priority. To the extent that electronic health records, team-based care, and other mitigation strategies have been successful in improving diagnosis since the last large-scale study, we would expect that the contributing factors to diagnostic claims may have changed. This study sought to examine paid medical malpractice claims as a proxy to identify contributing factors that reflect a clear diagnostic error. Diagnostic error cases with indemnity payments (2009-2020) were identified using the Candello (formerly known as CRICO) proprietary taxonomy. Factors associated with indemnity payments were analyzed using a multivariable logistic regression model. Of 5367 included claims, 2161 (40%) had indemnity payments. A majority of claims had multiple contributing factors on the diagnostic pathway. In multivariable analysis, factors independently associated with an indemnity payment included the insurer (odds ratio and 95% confidence interval, 2.8 [2.4-3.3]), high injury severity (1.9 [1.3-2.8]) or death (1.5 [0.99-2.1]), and case setting (inpatient (0.77 [0.65-0.91]) or emergency department (0.67 [0.49-0.92])). Importantly, cases with contributing factors outside of Candello's diagnostic pathway were more likely to lead to indemnity payment. The digital transformation and acceleration of team-based care in medicine have not mitigated the malpractice risks of complex cases with severe injuries and multiple missteps.
