Reform Paths of College English Course Teaching in the Digital Age

With the rapid development of digital technology, the teaching mode of English courses in colleges and universities is facing profound changes and challenges. This paper takes the significance of the reform of English course teaching in colleges and universities in the digital era as the starting point and aims at the problems existing in the teaching concept, digital teaching infrastructure, and digital literacy of the teaching staff in the current construction of English courses in colleges and universities. It proposes strategies such as changing teaching thinking, strengthening infrastructure construction and resource integration, and improving the digital ability of the teaching staff, which provides some references for promoting the modernization transformation of English course teaching in colleges and universities in China.

Regulatory Support of Digital Model of Urban Territory in the Russian Federation

The article studies the digital model of the urban area as a mandatory tool for managing urban processes. The study of the regulatory support of the digital model is of great importance in the light of the rapid development of digital technologies in the urban environment. Purpose: To determine the regulatory support significance in creating the digital model of the urban area and its tools. Geographic information platforms of citywide importance are studied as well as their formation in the legislative field of the Russian Federation. It is assumed that the process of creating the digital model of the urban area, is inevitable in view of the development trend of urban planning in the Russian Federation.Methodology/approach: Based on theoretical analysis and synthesis of various sources of information, the diagram is constructed for information sources on the digital model of the urban area. The regulatory support of the digital model is specified as a basis for the development of geographic information system at all levels of significance. Requirements for regulatory acts of the construction industry for the digital model are formulated. Aspects of the legal field are identified as tools that require reflection in the digital model of the urban area.Value: This research can underlie the creation of regulations or their transformation to contribute to the sustainable and harmonious development of the urban environment.

A new approach to business ethics education: Virtual reality-based flipped learning

Paying attention to business ethics and educating ethical leaders and employees can impact organizational performance. Effective professional ethics education and learning can prevent administrative corruption, embezzlement and fraud in organizations. On the other hand, the development of digital technologies has created transformations in educational processes and methods. Evaluating the effectiveness of innovative teaching methods will greatly help the learning process of individuals and educational planning of business schools. Flipped learning is an educational approach in which students learn about course content before class. Accordingly, the aim of this research is to evaluate the impact of virtual reality (VR)-based flipped learning compared to the traditional method of teaching business ethics. This study was applied and quasi-experimental. Among business students of Shiraz University, 135 people were randomly divided into three groups. The first experimental group underwent training with the flipped learning method based on VR and the second experimental group underwent training with the traditional method and the third group was the control group. The control group didn't receive training and was selected only for the purpose of comparison with experimental groups. Pretest and posttest designs were used and the results of the three groups were compared using the Tukey test. The results showed that the two groups that received business ethics education had a significant difference compared to the control group. An important finding of this study revealed that among the two teaching methods, VR-based flipped learning had a greater impact on students' business ethics compared to the traditional teacher-centered approach. Accordingly, university managers and business ethics course instructors can facilitate the learning process using VR-based flipped learning. Designing simulation software for ethical scenarios is also a suitable solution for teaching business ethics.

Digital Marketing Strategies and Consumer Engagement: Unveiling TikToks E-Commerce Dynamics

This study examines digital marketing strategies on the TikTok platform and their impact on consumer engagement. With the development of digital technology, traditional media marketing has been replaced by digital platforms. As a typical representative, TikTok is leading the industry change using its unique e-commerce model. Short videos and live e-commerce are rapidly emerging as new forms of digital marketing. Short videos are popular on social media, while live e-commerce combines real-time interaction with a shopping experience, offering consumers a new way to shop. By analyzing TikTok's unique features and business model, this study examines the application of digital marketing in the short-form and live-streaming e-commerce space. It highlights its significant impact on the consumer buying behavior and market trends. The findings show that TikTok's digital marketing strategy boosts user engagement and brand influence and significantly contributes to sales conversions. This study provides important insights for companies to develop effective digital marketing strategies in the digital era and provides valuable references for future research.

The Bounded Limitlessness of Digital Gender-Sexual Violations: The Implications for Women and Gender-Sexual Relations.

Developments in digital technologies might provide limitless ways to reshape humanity's very existence, but also open up what we term "bounded limitless" opportunities for digital gender-sexual violations (DGSV). That is, "limitless" opportunities for men to sexually violate women within the inherent "boundedness" of digital technological infrastructures and architectures. Building on the existing interdisciplinary feminist scholarship, we explore the gendered disbenefits, specifically some of the ways in which digital technologies provide men with "bounded limitless" opportunities to perpetrate DGSV in physical and virtual times and spaces, and the implications for women, their bodies, and gender-sexual relations more broadly.

Development Strategies for Service-based Human Resources Business in Digital Age: The Case of Leadership Factory

Abstract: This research mainly takes the leadership factory as an example and, through analysis, points out the future development path for service human resources business. During the COVID-19 period, the development of the human resources industry was hindered, as reflected in the development of products, markets, and human resources itself. Service human resources companies have seized the most important product demand during COVID-19 and completed product changes. However, with the end of the epidemic era, market saturation also means that products need to be updated and iterated accordingly. Market diversity, uncertainty, and the development of the times have brought difficulties and risks to enterprises. Therefore, companies need to gain a foothold in the new era market. This study found that companies can specify their future development plans through five aspects: digital technology, diversification, professional capabilities, market penetration, and sustainable development capabilities. This research conference provides ideas for the future development of most service-type human resources business.

The Impact of New Media Strategies on Luxury Marketings: A Case Study of LVMH and Dior

Abstract: With the rapid development of digital technology, the traditional communication model of luxury brands is facing great challenges. There is an urgent need for luxury companies to explore new communication modes to break the limitations of traditional models and increase brand influence. This study explores the impact of new media marketing strategies adopted by LVMH on luxury brand perception and product sales. Taking Dior as an example, as part of the LVMH group, it has actively explored the corporate strategy of utilizing new media for marketing, especially through virtual fashion shows' novel new media marketing strategy. The article analyses how LVMH uses new media platforms such as social media, online advertising and content marketing to engage with its target audience. It assesses the impact of these strategies on brand perception and sales performance. It also discusses the challenges faced by LVMH in new media marketing. It proposes solutions and recommendations to promote the substantial development of the luxury industry in the new media era.

Bernard Stigler's Theory of Media Technology and Impact on Communication Studies

Abstract: In todays digital era, media technology is critical in shaping modern society. Accompanied by the rapid development of digital technology, the functions and roles of the media have undergone tremendous changes, and the speed, quality, and ways in which people access information have undergone unprecedented changes. Advances in media technology have reshaped how people interact with the outside world and profoundly impacted culture, cognition, and identity. Bernard Stiegle's media technology theory provides a theoretical framework for re-examining the relationship between humans and technology from a technological perspective. Stiegle argues that technology is both a tool for human development and the second origin of human beings. By proposing the theory of 'tertiary retention,' the crucial role of technology in the externalization of memory is revealed. Technology acts as both an antidote and a poison, facilitating the progress of human society and posing significant risks. In the digital age, changes in media technology have brought about problems such as cultural homogenization, identity crisis, and systemic ignorance and even led to the proletarianization of social consciousness. Stiegler's theory criticizes the logic of capitalism behind digital technology and argues that human beings must re-examine their relationship with technology to avoid falling into a technologically dominated cultural dilemma.

Technology Update in Management of Multi-Ligament Knee Injuries.

Multi-ligament knee injuries present in various combinations of structures around the knee joint, with or without involvement of neurovascular structures, posing significant challenges to the treating physician and therapists. Accurate diagnosis with appropriate surgical intervention and comprehensive rehabilitation to restore function and stability is, therefore, paramount. This article looks at the recent advancements in technology that are aiding in the management of these injuries. An extensive search of literature was done in PubMed, SCOPUS, and Google Scholar on this topic and the necessary information was derived from the relevant articles for this review. The progress made in the field of diagnosis, surgical management, rehabilitation and patient education tools were explored. A wide variety of diagnostic tools exists that are providing a more accurate evaluation of multi-ligament knee injuries both pre-operatively and post operatively. Advances in technology and techniques have aided in transforming their surgical management to a more minimally invasive approach. Patient-specific instrumentation, computer navigation and robotic-assisted surgery are in various stages of development offering enhanced precision and accuracy during ligament reconstruction procedures along with developments in digital technology and artificial intelligence. Advancements in technology have transformed the management of multi-ligament knee injuries, offering new tools and techniques that enhance diagnostic accuracy, surgical precision, and rehabilitation effectiveness. Artificial intelligence and its utility have widened the horizons, while at the same time bringing in the need for regulations necessary to monitor and develop these technologies.

Leveraging Trauma Informed Care for Digital Health Intervention Development in Opioid Use Disorder.

Digital health refers to the use of information and communication technologies in medicine (including smartphone apps, wearables, other non-invasive sensors, informatics and telehealth platforms) to prevent illness, deliver treatment, and promote wellness. This rapidly proliferating group of technologies has the potential to reduce harm for people with opioid use disorder (OUD) and facilitate the recovery process; however, development in this space for OUD has been slower compared to that for other medical conditions. Unique issues with OUD management surrounding patient provider relationships, interaction with the healthcare system, autonomy and trust sometimes hinder care approaches, including those in digital health. The trauma informed care framework (TIC), developed for use by organizations to support individuals who have experienced trauma, has particular applicability for digital health interventions in OUD care. This manuscript will serve as a review of TIC principles and how they can be applied to digital health interventions to increase access, equity, and empowerment for people with OUD. We will highlight representative current and pipeline digital technologies for OUD, challenges with these technologies, TIC models for OUD, and the integration of TIC principles into digital technology development to better serve people with OUD. Finally, we will posit strategies to incorporate the aforementioned principles into future research efforts. We ultimately aim to use TIC as a lens through which to develop digital technologies to help individuals with OUD while minimizing harm.

Islamic Elementary School Marketing Model In Pekanbaru: The Impact Of Digitalization Of Education

Elementary Schools play a strategic role in educating Human Resources (HR). Therefore, proper governance is the keyword for sustainability for Institutions, both State and Private. The emergence of the era of disruption is a test of every governance of educational and non-educational institutions. Adaptation to technological developments is the only solution for the legitimacy of institutional sustainability. The gap in digital marketing research in elementary schools and the absence of a role model for the concept of a digital marketing model for elementary schools make this research very strategic at this time, especially in the city of Pekanbaru which has many private elementary schools. Analysis of the research journal matrix using Vosviewer accessed through the Elsevier Scopus journal and Google Schooler digital marketing or digitalization for elementary school management is research that has been the focus of researchers to date and has many opportunities to be used as research studies that show that this research is part of what will fill the research gap. The purpose of this study is to reveal how digital technology influences Integrated Islamic Elementary Schools (SD IT), especially in the field of school marketing. Analyze opportunities and challenges and find a digital marketing model for elementary schools. This study uses a qualitative method using the Notions Of Sensing And Responding theory. So the findings of this study are that the development of digital technology has changed the promotion model that leads to digital marketing. This is reinforced by the school's response and the initiatives taken by the school in adopting and developing digital marketing.

Digital signal detection and recognition in the communication field combining DAEN and CNN

In communication, the detection and recognition of digital signals have always faced problems such as low adaptability and high misclassification rate. To address these issues, this study innovatively fused the deep auto-encoder network with convolutional neural networks to construct a novel digital signal detection and recognition model. Firstly, this study utilized the powerful feature extraction capabilities of the deep auto-encoder network to extract key feature information from massive amounts of data. Then these features were combined with convolutional neural networks to construct a detection and recognition model. These results confirmed that the constructed digital signal detection and recognition model had values of 93.75% and 94.18% in data detection recognition rate and average classification accuracy, respectively. Meanwhile, this model also performed well in terms of data processing accuracy and recall. In the comparison of data processing, the accuracy and recall rates were 93.59% and 94.67%, respectively, and the performance of data detection and recognition was better than that of the comparison methods. This indicates that the constructed digital signal detection and recognition model can significantly improve the reliability and robustness of signal detection and recognition. This paper brings new breakthroughs to the development of digital signal detection and recognition technology in communication.

ПРИМЕНЕНИЕ ЦИФРОВЫХ ТЕХНОЛОГИЙ В ОБЛАСТИ КОНТРОЛЬНО-НАДЗОРНОЙ ДЕЯТЕЛЬНОСТИ

The issues of the development of digital technologies in the field of activities of control (supervisory) bodies in the Russian Federation are considered. The main stages of the introduction of information systems in the process of state and municipal control are presented. The digital tools developed as a result of the process of a risk-based approach to ensuring security are examined. An overview of the system of pre-trial appeal of the inspections results and data on the impact on the relevance of the information technology mechanism are presented. The unified control types register is considered from the point of view of a business facilitation tool. Problematic issues in the implementation of digital technologies are also touched upon.

The impact of digital transformation on labour demand quantity and structure: Evidence from China

While the impact of digital transformation on firms’ labour demand has attracted considerable attention, no studies have examined how different types of digital transformation impact different workforce labour demand. Using data from Chinese A-share listed manufacturing companies from 2013 to 2022, this study employs a two-way fixed effects model, the instrumental variable method and multi-temporal difference-in-differences analysis. The findings reveal that digital convergence technologies significantly increase manufacturing firms’ labour demand, whereas e-commerce technologies have no significant effect on employment. Furthermore, digitalisation has a negative effect on the demand for operational employees and a positive effect on the demand for skilled and service employees. The mechanism test reveals that digital transformation primarily substitutes labour through productivity effects and generates labour demand via financing constraints and business scope effects, ultimately increasing manufacturing firms’ labour demand. These results further enhance the understanding of how digital technology development impacts labour demand.

Geomasking to Safeguard Geoprivacy in Geospatial Health Data

Geomasking is a set of techniques that introduces noise or intentional errors into geospatial data to minimize the risk of identifying exact location information related to individuals while preserving the utility of the data to a controlled extent. It protects the geoprivacy of the data contributor and mitigates potential harm from data breaches while promoting safer data sharing. The development of digital health technologies and the extensive use of individual geospatial data in health studies have raised concerns about geoprivacy. The individual tracking data and health information, if accessed by unauthorized parties, may lead to privacy invasions, criminal activities, and discrimination. These risks underscore the importance of robust protective measures in the collection, management, and sharing of sensitive data. Geomasking techniques have been developed to safeguard geoprivacy in geospatial health data, addressing the risks and challenges associated with data sharing. This entry paper discusses the importance of geoprivacy in geospatial health data and introduces various kinds of geomasking methods and their applications in balancing the protection of individual privacy with the need for data sharing to ensure scientific reproducibility, highlighting the urgent need for more effective geomasking techniques and their applications.

Unlocking digital marketing’s potential in the agricultural sector: A literature review

Success in the business and marketing worlds depends on having a pulse of the market. Digital marketing emerged as a result of the revolution in marketing brought about by the development of digital technologies. In order to reveal the trends and secrets of this rapidly evolving industry, I carried out a poll called the “Digital Marketing Survey in the field of Agriculture” which helps us to find out the depths of digital marketing with the goal of understanding the opinion of user experience, digital India, Human Resources, and Consumer Feedback. I actively engaged a range of individuals in order to obtain insightful data that would help me to improve digital marketing tactics in Agriculture.

Research on Teaching Reform and Practice Strategies for Vocational College E-commerce Major in the Era of "Internet+"

With the advent of the "Internet+" era, the rapid development of digital technology presents new challenges and opportunities for vocational education, particularly in the field of e-commerce. This study analyzes the current teaching situation of the e-commerce major and identifies issues such as curriculum design, teaching methods, teacher quality, and resource allocation that do not meet the requirements of the new era. Based on these findings, it proposes reform strategies, including the introduction of diversified teaching models, the development of information-based teaching resources, and the training and enhancement of the faculty team. Additionally, this research explores how to build and apply practical teaching platforms, deepen school-enterprise cooperation, innovate training models, and promote students' autonomous learning and skill improvement in practice. The study indicates that these strategies can effectively enhance teaching quality, improve students' practical skills and employability, and provide new ideas and practical guidance for the future development of vocational college e-commerce majors.

Enhancing Research Involvement of Young People With Lived Expertise: Reflecting on Experiences in Digital Mental Health Research.

Given the rapid development of digital mental health technologies and a focus on connecting with youth, there is an urgent need to enhance the engagement of young people with lived expertise in research. Even so, youth with lived experience of accessing mental health services are particularly affected by power imbalances and may receive limited compensation in academic settings. Therefore, an emphasis on how research engagement not only improves the work but can benefit young people themselves is required. Here, 5 young people with lived expertise report on their experience of being employed as researchers at the University of Sydney's Brain and Mind Centre. As such, this team is uniquely placed to offer reflections from their work across multiple stages of research. This led to four key insights, including (1) creating accepting work cultures, (2) providing diverse opportunities for involvement, (3) giving young people agency and flexibility around sharing lived experiences, and (4) creating accommodating work environments for all researchers. We suggest that these insights can support more diverse ways of engaging young people and maximizing the value of participation for both researchers and young people themselves.

AGRICULTURAL CONSULTING AS A TOOL TO ENSURE THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SUSTAINABLE RURAL DEVELOPMENT

The article analyzes the current state of implementation of sustainable rural development in Ukraine. Ensuring sustainable rural development today is a priority for all of humanity, which is due to the desire of countries to ensure the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals. It is noted that rural development is an important task aimed at ensuring food security, increasing the competitiveness of agriculture, stimulating economic growth and social development of rural areas in the system of European integration priorities. It is proved that the peculiarities of the functioning of the agro-industrial sector, the processes of digitalization and the consequences of full-scale military operations necessitate the need for highly qualified and multidisciplinary specialists. It is substantiated that the need of small agricultural enterprises for high-quality staffing will only increase in the future, due to the need to revitalize the de-occupied territories of Ukraine and the further rapid development of digital technologies. It is noted that the lion's share of agricultural enterprises in Ukraine is small. These agricultural enterprises are focused on the domestic market, and they ensure the country's food security and sustainable rural development. However, these agricultural enterprises face significant problems with logistics and human resources, high production costs, lack of markets, etc. In addition, most of them are geographically remote from the centers of civilization. All this, as well as the need to eliminate the negative consequences of full-scale military operations in rural areas, further revitalization of the de-occupied territories, and the introduction of digital technologies, make it expedient for small agricultural enterprises to use agro-consulting as a tool for ensuring the implementation of sustainable rural development. It is noted that agricultural consulting in Ukraine is mainly represented by agricultural advisory services. Prospect for further research is the problem of using consulting to optimize the development of rural tourism in Ukraine.

Improving SME Performance Through the Utilization of Usable Digital Technology in the Gunung Kawi Area, Wonosari, Malang

The development of digital technology has changed the way society consumes information and makes decisions, including in the tourism sector and other related fields, including small and medium enterprises (SMEs) around the tourist areas. The Mount Kawi area, known for its religious tourism, natural beauty, and cultural heritage, seems to continue to attract visitors even though it has not fully recovered as it was before the Covid-19 pandemic. This also impacts the development of the performance of existing SMEs. This community service aims to introduce user-friendly digital marketing technology to small and medium enterprises (SMEs), so they do not have to rely solely on the local market. The approach used is the initiation model, which involves stages of introduction, demonstration, evaluation, improvement, and reinforcement. The participants of the event consisted of 20 SMEs, ranging from batik to various types of food. The instruments for success used are observation sheets and portfolios. The results of the activities show an increase in digital knowledge among SMEs, particularly in utilizing social media for product content that supports online marketing strategies, as well as the ability to create content and operate digital technology based on market feasibility. The recommendation from this community service activity is the need for assistance in certifying their products to enhance consumer trust.
