Developing teaching materials for writing observation report texts using Powtoon for grade X high school students

This study aims to develop teaching materials for writing observation report texts based on technology by utilizing the Powtoon application for class X SMA students. This study uses a development procedure called the ADDIE model. This study was conducted at SMA Negeri 15 Pekanbaru with 36 class XB students as research subjects. The data collection techniques used were student needs analysis questionnaires, validation questionnaires for teaching material products by validators, trials (limited tests), and teacher and student assessment questionnaires. The results showed that the quality of the product development of teaching materials for writing observation report texts based on Powtoon for class X SMA students was seen from the results of expert validation and got a score of 4.5 (90%), the practicality of the product was seen from the results of teacher assessments of 4.6 (92%) and student assessments of 4.5 (90%). The average pre-test score was 64, and the post-test was 87, which was stated to be significantly different based on the Wilcoxon test. It can be concluded that teaching materials designed using Powtoon for class X SMA students are very feasible and have the potential to be used in learning to write observation report texts.

Stepping Together with Nature of Malang Raya: The Development Environmental Changes E-Book Based on Problem Based Learning (PBL)

The development of teaching materials that are integrated with local wisdom is needed as a teaching tool to support learning using the Merdeka curriculum. To practice some of these skills, teaching materials are needed that support the application of the Merdeka curriculum for learning activities. This research aims to determine the theoretical feasibility of teaching materials in the form of environmental change e-books based on problem based learning integrated with local wisdom in Malang Raya. This research uses the ADDIE model with analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation stages. Data was obtained from validation results by two biology lecturers and readability tests. The environmental change e-book developed has very valid criteria. The validation results are based on aspects of presentation, content, suitability of problem based learning steps. E-book readability test at level 11 or according to the level of thinking of class X high school students which is categorized as very positive and appropriate. So, it is concluded that the environmental change e-book based on problem based learning integrated with Malang Raya local wisdom is very suitable to be applied in the learning of class X high school students.

Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Materi Teks Negosiasi Berbantuan Aplikasi Anyflip pada Siswa Kelas X SMA Swasta Gajah Mada Medan

This research aims to: (1) describe the process of developing teaching materials for negotiation text materials assisted by the Anyflip application for class Mada Medan. The research and development model used is ADDIE with five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The instruments used were interviews, as well as material validation questionnaires, design validation, and responses from Indonesian language study teachers. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques (Likert scale). The results of the research and development carried out are teaching material products for negotiation text materials assisted by the Anyflip application with good average assessment results.

Development of Digital Teaching Materials for Basic Excellent Service Based on Google Site for Culinary Vocational Students

The purpose of this study is to find out: 1) the results of the development of basic digital teaching materials for excellent service based on Google site platform; 2) the feasibility of materials and media on the basic digital teaching materials of excellent service based on the google site; 3) Student / User Response of Basic Digital Teaching Materials Excellent Service Based on the Google site. This research used research and development (R&D), especially the 4D model according to Thiagarajan. The steps in this model include defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The data collection technique was carried out using questionnaires with research subjects, consisting of 6 validators (material & media) and 33 culinary students of SMKN8 Surabaya. Data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive techniques Research shows: 1) digital teaching materials in can be accessed using https://bit.ly/DasarPelayananPrima links; 2) the feasibility of the material and media was declared very feasible with average scores of 92% and 87% respectively: 3) Student response was excellent with an average of 84%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that basic digital teaching materials for excellent service based on Google sites for culinary vocational students are very feasible to apply in culinary basics learning.

Increasing the Motivation of Prospective Teachers: Exploration of the Use of ChatGPT in Developing Mathematics Teaching Materials Independent

Teachers in Indonesia have limitations in developing teaching materials. The aim of this research is to explore the use of ChatGPT in developing mathematics teaching materials for the independent learning curriculum in Indonesia. This type of research is quantitative descriptive with a sample of 15 students. The instruments used in this research were motivation questionnaires, observation sheets, documentation, and interviews. The results of this research are steps for using ChatGPT in developing teaching materials, including developing needs analysis instruments, searching for teaching material materials, and searching for teaching material designs with the help of ChatGPT. The use of ChatGPT in developing teaching materials is very helpful and easy, providing time and energy efficiency as well as extensive information for prospective teacher students. However, the use of ChatGPT in developing teaching materials also has disadvantages, including not always being able to understand more specific learning contexts, resulting in errors in understanding or being irrelevant. Another thing that is felt is the limitations of the images displayed by ChatGPT. The motivation of prospective teacher students in developing teaching materials using ChatGPT was obtained by 13 people who had medium and high motivation, while 2 people had low motivation.

The Role of Local Learning Media in Civics Subjects for Class V Elementary School Students

This research aims to examine the role of local learning media in Civics Education (PKn) subjects for fifth grade students in elementary schools. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The research subjects consisted of 30 fifth grade students and one Civics teacher. The research results show that the use of local learning media, such as folklore and traditional games, increases learning motivation, understanding of the material, and student participation in the Civics learning process. As many as 85% of students felt more motivated, and 78% of students understood the material more easily when local learning media was used. In addition, students become more active in class discussions and activities. However, there are several obstacles, such as difficulties in developing teaching materials that are in accordance with local wisdom and limited time and resources. To overcome this obstacle, it is recommended that there be training for teachers and the development of adequate resources. Overall, this research confirms the importance of local learning media in improving the quality of Civics learning and provides practical recommendations for its integration in the curriculum.

Development of Electronic Teaching Materials Based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Approach to Improve High School Students' Mathematical Problem Solving Skills

The aim of this research is to develop approach-based electronic teaching materials Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) on systems of equations and linear inequalities to improve high school students' valid and practical mathematical problem solving abilities. This research method uses research and development with a 4D model. Data was collected using questionnaires, observations and interviews. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis. Teaching materials are said to be valid and practical if the score obtained is more than 70%. The results of this research show that electronic teaching materials are based The CTL approach was developed to increase mathematical problem solving abilities for high school students get score mean 89% with very valid category. The results of student responses in the limited trial obtained a score of 90.28% in the very practical category. The student response results in the field trial were 90.35% with very practical criteria. The teacher response results were 94.14% with the very practical category and the observation sheet 90.6% with the very practical criteria. From the results of validity and practicality, it can be seen that the teaching materials developed are suitable for use as learning resources.

Development of video mind mapping-based teaching materials on relations and functions to increase junior high school students' learning motivation

This study aims to produce teaching materials based on video mind mapping on relations and functions to increase student learning motivation. The research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model but is only limited to the Development stage. The research instruments used in this study were validation sheets, test questions, and interviews. The subjects of this study were three students of class VIII at MTsN 1 Majalengka with high, medium, and low ability levels. The results indicate that the developed video mind mapping-based teaching materials have met valid criteria, making them suitable as alternative teaching materials to increase student learning motivation. The implementation of video mind mapping-based teaching materials shows promise in enhancing students' motivation to learn relations and functions, suggesting potential broader application in educational settings.

Compilation and uses of the 'Yonsei Korean Synonyms Dictionary for Learners'

The purpose of this study is to introduce the compilation process and characteristics of the new Yonsei Korean Synonyms Dictionary (YKSD), and to suggest how the synonym dictionary could be used in teaching language. Despite the importance of synonym distinction for language learners and teachers, thus far, synonym dictionaries have generally presented lists of synonyms, in a manner similar to a thesaurus. We would like to introduce the YKSD as a new model for a Korean thesaurus, and discuss what information is presented and how the information is illustrated. We provide the lexical information and description of synonyms based on an analysis of corpus rather than the intuition of dictionary compilers. The macrostructure and microstructure of the YKSD are specially designed to assist in distinguishing synonyms. The contents of this dictionary can be used in various ways in the course of developing teaching materials for language learners. In this study, we will look at the uses of this dictionary.

Mengembangkan Kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) yang Adaptif Terhadap Perkembangan Teknologi Digital

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) as one of the subjects in schools needs to follow this development by adapting a curriculum that is in accordance with the demands of the times. This research aims to explore how to develop a PAI curriculum that is adaptive to the development of digital technology. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method that utilizes previous writings such as books, journals, and articles. Content analysis and descriptive analysis are the basis for this research. Propositions and concepts are supported by a comprehensive and critical literature analysis from a variety of sources. The results of the analysis show that the development of an Islamic Religious Education curriculum that is adaptive to the development of digital technology involves the use of digital technology in learning such as interactive multimedia, e-learning platforms, mobile applications, virtual reality, and augmented reality to increase students' interest, motivation, and learning experience. This curriculum also includes the development of quality digital teaching materials such as interactive e-books, learning videos, and the use of e-learning platforms. In addition, training is needed for PAI teachers in integrating digital technology into learning, including the use of digital devices, the development of digital teaching materials, the use of e-learning platforms, digital learning strategies, and the ethics and safety of technology use

Implementation of a Cloud Computing Based Learning Management System in Education Management

Modern education increasingly demands innovation in developing exciting and effective teaching materials. Augmented Reality Technology has attracted attention as a potential tool for increasing student interactivity and engagement in learning. With its ability to present additional information in a natural environment, Augmented Reality offers the opportunity to create immersive and engaging learning experiences. This research explores the use of Augmented Reality in developing interactive teaching materials, focusing on its effectiveness in increasing student understanding and facilitating more profound learning. The research method used in this study was a randomized control experiment in a secondary school. The randomized control experimental research method is used to evaluate the effects of an intervention or treatment on a group compared to a control group that did not receive the intervention or treatment. Data was collected through pre- and post-teaching comprehension tests and surveys of student satisfaction with the learning experience. The results of this research show that using interactive teaching materials based on Augmented Reality increases students’ understanding compared to using conventional teaching materials. Additionally, students in the experimental group reported higher satisfaction levels with their learning experience than the control group. This research concludes that using Augmented Reality to develop interactive teaching materials has great potential to increase learning effectiveness. By presenting additional information visually and interactively, Augmented Reality can improve students’ understanding and increase their involvement in learning. Therefore, integrating Augmented Reality in developing teaching materials can be a valuable step in improving the quality of education.

Needs Analysis of Multimodal-Based Reading Comprehension Teaching Materials for Level A1 French Language Education Study Program Students

This study aims to obtain information about French Language Education Study Program students' perception of using multimodal texts in Réception Écrite (RE) learning or reading, followed by a needs analysis of multimodal text-based teaching materials. Réception Écrite learning is currently carried out using the book Alter Ego Plus A1. The book is not multimodal. Therefore, it is necessary to develop teaching materials for multimodal-based Réception Écrite courses. Questionnaires were employed to get students' perceptions of the need for multimodal-based Réception Écrite teaching materials. The respondents to this questionnaire were 40 students for the 2021 academic year. The questionnaire employed has been validated by experts. The data obtained from the questionnaire were analyzed using descriptive statistics by calculating percentages. Generally, students already knew and understood a multimodal text. However, in the Réception Écrite course, only 40% of students studied multimodal texts. Students agreed to the use of multimodal texts. They needed multimodal-based Reception Ecrite teaching materials because, currently, there were no multimodal-based textbooks in the French Language Education Study Program. The development of multimodal-based teaching materials in the Réception Écrite course in the French Language Education Study Program must be carried out because this learning provides many benefits to students and lecturers. Benefits for students include interesting, easy to understand, not boring, encouraging students, fun, and others

Digitalization of education as a cultural value

Education is an indicator of global transformations taking place in the world and a source of social progress. The relevance of the research is due to the emerging scientific contradiction, which requires resolution, between the active process of digitalization of all spheres of human life and the potential capabilities of the educational institution to effectively implement digital services in the educational process. The problem of the research is to find an answer to the question: what are the main vectors of digitalization of education in modern conditions as a cultural value? The goal of the research is to reveal key directions of digitalization of education as basic guidelines for its quality in modern conditions. The research methods used are analysis, deduction, generalization, survey.The Research results: the dominant directions of the digitalization process of modern education have been revealed and the key trends in the digital transformation of education have been identified; the range of ICT within the framework of academic disciplines in universities in physical education and sports has been argued; factors that impede the spread of digital educational technologies have been systematized.Key conclusions: the dominant directions of the process of digitalization of education are introduction of digital programs for monitoring student progress, transfer of information, development of online learning, systems for universal student identification, design of digital models of educational institutions. ICT used in physical education and sports classes are an interactive whiteboard, a multimedia projector, electronic textbooks, preparation and demonstration of videos of the training process, etc. Factors hindering the spread of digital educational technologies are the demand for the development of special teaching materials for methodological support of the use of digital resources in the educational process; teachers’ conservatism towards digital innovations, etc.

Cultural Literacy : Ondel-Ondel Betawi in Elementary School Textbooks

This study aims to analyze the use of Betawi ondel-ondel in elementary school textbooks as a means of cultural literacy for students. The methodology used is a literature study that includes a review of elementary school textbooks that contain material about Betawi culture and the use of ondel-ondel in an educational context. The results showed that the use of ondel-ondel in elementary school textbooks made a positive contribution to students' understanding and appreciation of Betawi culture. Students not only gained knowledge about ondel-ondel, but also developed important cultural literacy skills. The conclusion of this study is the importance of integrating local cultural elements in the primary education curriculum to enhance students' understanding of their cultural heritage. The last recommendation from this study is the need for more research and development of teaching materials that utilize the potential of local culture as a means of learning in elementary schools

This research is motivated by the development of electronic teaching materials based on local wisdom using the Canva and Cap Cut applications to assess, design teaching materials based on local wisdom, improve the learning process in a more interesting way, so that students do not feel bored in class. There is also the aim of knowing the steps for making fairy tale teaching materials based on local wisdom. Theme 8, the area where I live, sub-theme 1, the environment where I live, knowing the quality, effectiveness of the product, student responses before using the product, after using the product. The research methodology uses (research and development/R&D) the ADDIE model (Analysis of the initial stages of product manufacturing planning, Design product planning, Develop product development, Implement use of products that have been validated, Evaluation assess the resulting product which has been tested to see whether the final result is more productive ). Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, validation, trials, questionnaires, documentation. The results of the research show that, teachers' assessment of local wisdom-based electronic teaching materials for 95% of students 91.25% of the criteria is very feasible. Development of interactive digital teaching materials based on 21st century skills in special purpose arabic language courses at STAI Attanwir Bojonegoro

Special Purpose Arabic Language refers to the teaching or learning of Arabic language tailored to specific needs or objectives. This means that Arabic language lessons are designed with a focus on its usage context in specific fields or activities, as opposed to a general approach to teaching Arabic. Special Purpose Arabic Language courses at the university level are tailored to specific needs and objectives in a professional context, producing graduates ready to face global challenges. The objectives of this research are (1) to analyze the process of developing interactive digital teaching materials based on 21st-century skills in Special Purpose Arabic Language courses at STAI Attanwir Bojonegoro, (2) to analyze the feasibility of interactive digital teaching materials based on 21st-century skills in Special Purpose Arabic Language courses at STAI Attanwir Bojonegoro, and (3) to analyze the effectiveness of interactive digital teaching materials based on 21st-century skills in Special Purpose Arabic Language courses at STAI Attanwir Bojonegoro. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model. Data collection techniques in this study use expert validation questionnaires, expert validation materials, student responses, and tests. The results of this research and development are as follows: (1) The development process consists of five steps: analysis, development, design, implementation, and evaluation, resulting in the production of interactive digital teaching materials based on 21st-century skills. (2) Based on validation results by experts, an average score of 90% was obtained. According to the Likert scale, the value of 90% falls into the category of very feasible because it is within the range of >61%. Meanwhile, the average percentage of student responses obtained an overall score of 88.5%, falling into the category of very feasible. (3) The results of the effectiveness test of teaching materials using a paired sample T-test showed a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores with a significant value (2-tailed) of p = 0.000, <0.05. The null hypothesis (H0) in this study was rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted, indicating a significant difference between the two tests. Based on the data above, the developed teaching materials are effective in Special Purpose Arabic Language courses.

Development of Website-Based Teaching Materials to Improve Historical Understanding in History Learning for Class X Students of SMA Negeri 1 Rangkat

This research discusses the development of website-based teaching materials to improve understanding of history in history learning for class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Rangkat. The aim of this research is to determine the development of website-based teaching material design, determine the feasibility of developing website-based teaching materials, and understand history by using website-based teaching materials in history learning for class This research uses a Research and Development (RD) approach, namely an approach that produces and develops a physical product that has been tested for feasibility and effectiveness. Implementation of the RD approach using the PIE (Plan, Implement and Evaluate) development model. The results of this research show that the number of assessments given by media experts is 71 while the percentage obtained is 90% and the validation value is in the "Very Appropriate" category, the material expert assessment is 58 with the percentage obtained is 95.4% and is included in the "Very Good" category. Eligible", the validation score for the Pretest-Posttest questions by the teacher was 144 with a percentage of 96% so it was included in the "Very Appropriate" category and the students' understanding score after using the product was based on the results of the pre-test and post-test, the small group got a pre-test result of 29.1 and posttest 75. While the large group got pre-test results of 34.35 and post-test 76.45, there was an increase in scores after teaching and learning activities using website-based teaching materials and based on the results of pre-test and post-test participants' understanding students have reached the level of analysis.

Are social studies teachers ready for legal literacy education?

This study aimed to assess social studies teachers’ legal literacy levels and their perspectives on legal literacy education. The study was conducted with 160 social studies teachers in the first stage and 10 selected teachers in the second. Instruments were the legal literacy scale and a semi-structured interview form. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, while qualitative data were analyzed using content analysis. The results indicated that teachers generally possess a high level of legal literacy. However, a notable portion of them do not perceive themselves as legally literate, citing insufficient education, knowledge, experience, and interest in law as reasons. Furthermore, challenges related to the abstract nature of the subject and difficulties in effectively teaching it to students were identified. To address these issues, teachers suggested real-life applications, making the lessons more tangible, developing teaching materials, and enhancing professional development.
