The Influence of Physical Education Courses in Achieving Talent Cultivation

This study, based on the research areas of sports curriculum assessment (course structure, mandatory courses, elective courses) and university talent development goals (moral orientation, teaching orientation, educational orientation, development orientation), lays the foundation for improving the learning efficiency and talent development goals of sports science students. The research aims to promote the comprehensive development of sports science students through curriculum reform and the enhancement of talent development programs. The findings from this study contribute to the improvement of academic performance among sports science undergraduates at Hunan University of Arts and Science in Hunan Province, China. The insights provided serve as references for educational practices, assisting institutions in curriculum reform to achieve university talent development goals. The study randomly selected 260 students and utilized a descriptive correlational design along with social science statistical software (SPSS) for data analysis. The results indicate that the respondents are primarily university students aged 20-21 (63.5%), predominantly male (59.2%), with a concentration in the senior year (73.5%). The obtained scores in course structure (3.63), mandatory courses (3.65), elective courses (3.63), moral orientation (3.65), teaching orientation (3.65), educational orientation (3.65), and development orientation (3.64) were reported. The study concludes that enhancing the level of curriculum reform for sports science undergraduates effectively aligns with students' talent development goals, including moral orientation, teaching orientation, educational orientation, and development orientation, ultimately improving academic performance. To facilitate students in achieving talent development goals and enhancing their learning outcomes, teachers need to adopt relevant measures in their teaching, such as strengthening comprehensive quality cultivation, promoting the application of innovative teaching methods, enhancing collaboration and communication with industries, and establishing a personalized assessment system. These strategies contribute to the specialization of sports science courses and the improvement of talent development goal achievement, fostering students' development of innovative skills, broadening their perspectives, and becoming confident, adaptable thinkers.

Metodologias de ensino-aprendizagem para o desenvolvimento de competências de inovação na graduação em enfermagem

Innovation is defined as the act of innovating, a new concept or idea, which aims to improve quality. Innovation skills can be developed during the undergraduate course, through different teaching-learning methodologies. With the aim of listing the methodologies used and correlating them with innovation skills, a quantitative, exploratory-descriptive study was developed with 13 Nursing undergraduate professors. Data collection took place between February and March 2023, with descriptive statistical analysis. As results, from a teaching perspective, there was a correlation of methodologies with potential for the development of innovation skills, with emphasis on simulation, identified as correlated to the nineteen skills listed. It is concluded that in teaching practice, the correlation between the methodologies used and the innovation skills that can be developed in their application was perceived, which constitutes an important contribution to teaching innovation and the teaching of innovation.

Uso de los FAB LAB en el desarrollo de capacidades de innovación en los docentes de Educación para el Trabajo

ABSTRACT This opinion article entitled: Use of FAB LAB in the development of innovation skills in teachers of Education for Work, aims to make known the importance of the use of FAB LAB in the development of innovation skills in teachers of Education for Work. To this end, a review of the emergence of FAB LAB and some examples of how they operate are presented. If such technologies are used by citizens, they would have the capacity to co-design their material culture, Malinowski (2021). It is concluded that it is necessary to boost innovation through technology.

Innovation of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Media in Environmental Art Design

With the current upsurge of innovation and entrepreneurship in China, this paper objectively analyzes the importance of designers’ professional quality and scientific awareness in response to the need for the integration and development of innovative skills and artistic spirit in environmental design. This paper emphasizes that the level of intelligent operation of science and technology should be improved in design, the rigor of intelligent utilization in creative expression should be improved, and the problem of evaluation criteria of artistic design value should be solved based on professional development. This paper gives the design scheme of intelligent monitoring module based on Lora technology and designs the hardware circuit of the intelligent monitoring module with MSP430F2272 as the core. It includes a microcontroller circuit, a Lora module interface circuit, an input signal detection module, a control output module, and the like. This paper focuses on the content, representation, and implementation of the associated configuration table, and compares four analog input signals with variable thresholds. The sensor detects 800Lux, and the error is 500Lux, which is higher than errmax, so it outputs -10 brightening every time to generate analog input logic. The 4 digital inputs are combined with the analog input logic to generate output control signals by associating operations.

ENHANCING CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION FOR GLOBAL COMPETITIVENESS: THE ROLE OF CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT IN PRE-PRIMARY AND PRIMARY EDUCATION

The rate of youth unemployment in Nigeria, no doubt calls for concern. Moreover, innovative and creative skills seem to be lacking among unemployed youths. Consequently, social vices in Nigeria such as armed robbery, extortion through blackmail, and kidnapping and most recently, internet fraud have become rampant. The lack of innovative and creative skills among most of the youth could be adduced to their foundation or upbringing Education atre-primary and primary schools in Nigeria overlook the role of foundational creative and innovative skill development, hence the clustering of curriculum inre-primary and primary schools. Currently, in a globally competitive world of ours, the average Nigerian child needs to explore his/her environment and be nurtured to think in a creative and innovative manner in order to globally compete favorably basCurriculum Developmened on current national and global needs. Making use of secondary data, this study argues that the high youth unemployment rate in Nigeria could be traced to lack of proper curriculum development from the Pre-Primary and Primary schools. This paper posits that the best way to enhance creativity and innovation among the Nigerian youths is to expose them to acquire these skills from their Pre-Primary school education level. Among the recommendations is that there should be a review of the curriculum at the elementary level to minimize the curriculum contents and increase the co-curriculum activities. Emphasis on assessment of learning should be more on vocational skills acquisition than grading and certification.

The modern stage of the development of science and technology contributes to an in-depth comprehensive study of the labor market and employment of the population. The emergence and development of innovative forms of employment is due to the increased use of the labor potential of the country's population. State programs for the development of the national economy aim to achieve high indicators of the national economy. Indicators of the dynamics of the number of employed people in the country's economy, the level of employment of the population and the dynamics of the number of personnel engaged in scientific research and development by 1,000,000 levels of employment are being studied to analyze ways to achieve this goal. Mechanisms that contribute to the achievement of innovative forms of employment are considered. Shortcomings were formulated, and a fundamental principle was proposed, which formed the basis of the methodology for achieving innovative forms of employment. Accordingly, in order to achieve the goal of decent universal employment of the population, it is necessary to create a system of skills development from an early age for children and young people. Choosing an educational trajectory for further successful employment and implementation in the profession is necessary in childhood. The development of basic skills will enable young people to expand the range of related specialties that can be in demand on the market. Early professional orientation and self-determination, the development of innovative skills in children and young people can become a prerequisite for the formation of a generation of inventors and entrepreneurs. The formation of a system of professional competencies in various fields of activity contributes to the formation of a professional who has the ability to choose a profession based on the need for the labor market. The established system of innovative employment of the population will be able to ensure the social and economic balance of society. Increasing the realization of human potential, environmental, as well as economic security of the state, increasing the birth rate will strengthen the national economy. The development of innovative forms of employment will lead to an increase in the number of innovative products, which will increase the performance of the national economy.

Effects of innovative pedagogies on academic achievement and development of 21st-century skills of taxation students in colleges of education

ABSTRACT The curiosity to determine the mechanisms for development of innovative skills in learners and the efficacy of innovative pedagogies in improving students’ achievement in Taxation and acquisition of 21st-century skills is what informed this research. We assigned 248 taxation students to three classes, two taught with innovative methods. Results showed that students who received treatment had significant improvements in academic achievement and developed 21st-century skills more than those in the control groups. We recommended that government, educational institutions and other stakeholders should enact and implement policies on integrating innovative pedagogies and 21st-century learning models into taxation curricula. The implications and limitations of the study were also discussed.

Evaluation of Guidelines for PPICC: Purpose and Processing on Ideation and Creative Innovations for Competency Innovator

This research was aimed to 1) determine the current and desirable states, and the priority needs index for PPICC: Purpose and Processing on Ideation and Creative Innovations for Competency Model. Mixed methods research was employed and undertaken in 2 phrases. Phase 1 investigated the model. The qualitative research approach to multiple case study collected data from 2 case studies in order to provide a profound understanding of the subject being investigated and allow for applying the research results to similar context. Phrase 2 investigated the priority needs index for PPICC: Purpose and Processing on Ideation and Creative Innovations for Competency Model. Phase 2 utilizing interviews with 30 experts in human resource development, digital technology, and education administration. Instruments comprise structured questionnaires, guidelines propriety, and feasibility evaluation form. Analyses involve descriptive statistics i.e. frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, PNI Modified, and content analysis.
 Results of the evaluation of Phase 1 investigated the model was PPICC: Purpose and Processing on Ideation and Creative Innovations for Competency. Results of the evaluation of Phase 2 investigated that the overall of current and desirable states are at a moderate and highest level, respectively. The highest values of priority need index elements are as follows: The first priority need index fell on Discovery Skill of Ideation Innovations is Creative Mind. Professional Teachers found Skill for Collaboration and problem- solving creative skill, Creating Innovations is to Put to other Use, Goals of successful factors for the development of instructors to have different characteristics are Inspirer, Environment management for learning and teaching found that procurement, resource support, and learning resources for the development of the students to be innovative. Processing is Establish University. Discovery Skill of Ideation Innovations is Creative Mind. Competency Innovator found that Ideation in learning and teaching management found that - build interaction in learning through connection and networking, and the least is Purpose which is Stamina. Therefore, an important mechanism for the development of innovative skills must come from the cooperation of the public sector, the private sector, educational institutes, and the family institute to develop skills, knowledge and ability to keep pace with today's world effectively.

Framing the Innovation Mindset

Aim/Purpose: To build the skills of innovation, we must first establish a framework for the belief system that surrounds effective innovation practice. In building any belief system, sometimes outdated beliefs need to be replaced with better, more carefully researched ideas. One such belief, discovered in our research and elsewhere, is that creativity is innate and that great ideas arise through chance or happenstance. Background: One belief regarding innovation and creativity, discovered in our research and elsewhere, is the belief that creativity is innate. History has repeatedly shown this to be untrue, yet people still believe it. We have found within our research another belief is that innovation happens through random, unstructured processes -- that great ideas arise through chance or happenstance. However, participants also believed that innovation is a skill. If someone believes innovation is a skill but also believes innovation is innate, random, and unstructured, this disconnect presents obstacles for the training and development of innovation skills. Methodology: This research is based on a combination of background research and direct survey of innovators, educators, scientists, and engineers, in addition to the general public. The survey is used to illuminate the nature of significant beliefs related to creativity and innovation practice Contribution: We examine the myths and truths behind creativity as well as the false beliefs behind innovation as we present a closed model for innovation and the key framing elements needed to build a successful, trainable, developable system that is the innovation mindset. And like any skill, creativity and innovation can be taught and learned using tools and processes that can be followed, tracked, and documented. If innovation is a skill, creativity should not re-quire magic or the production of ideas out of thin air. Findings This paper identifies the historic nature of creativity as well as the general strategies used by innovators in implementing innovation practices and pro-poses a framework that supports the effective development of the innovation mindset. Recommendations for Practitioners: Apply the framework and encourage ideation and innovation participants to appreciate that they can learn to be creative and innovative. Start as early as possible in the education process, as all of these skills can be instructed at early ages. Recommendations for Researchers: Continue to gather survey data to support a refined understanding of the motivations behind the disconnect between innovation as a methodical skill and the beliefs in the use of random ideation techniques. Impact on Society: Transforming the understanding of creativity and innovation from one of mythical belief to one of methodical skill application will dramatically alter the lifelong impact of knowledge gained in support of global economic and environmental challenges. Future Research: A continuation of the recommended research paths and collaboration with other creativity researchers leading to improved methods for dissuading mythical beliefs toward formalized, systematic ideation and innovation practices.

Development of a Constructivist and Connectivist Learning Model for Undergraduates Involving Cloud Technology in Order to Promote the Creation of Innovative Education

The objectives of this research are as follows: 1) to analyze the constructivist and connectivist framework involving cloud technology; 2) to develop a constructivist and connectivist learning model involving cloud technology; and 3) to evaluate the constructivist and connectivist learning model involving cloud technology for undergraduates as a means of promoting innovative education. The samples consisted of 7 experts in the design of learning models and in the use of information technology and communications who were chosen by purposive sampling and who had at least 5 years’ relevant experience. The data were analyzed by mean and standard deviation. The evaluation results revealed that the constructivist and connectivist learning model involving cloud technology for undergraduates as a means of promoting innovative education was at the highest level of overall feasibility (x = 4.68, S.D. = 0.47). The implication of this study points out the feasibility of learning model to allow promotion of learning environment to encourage educational innovation and the development of innovation skills on the part of the students.

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a Basis for Innovation Skills for Engineers in the Industry 4.0 Context

Teaching methods for calculation and project development, focusing on theoretical principles and the reproduction of validated procedures, has been the traditional focus of engineering education. Innovation has been present in universities, mainly in the creation of processes and technologies for the development of products, services, or companies, based on entrepreneurship. Training in innovation has been limited to interested students, and not encouraged for all students, despite how relevant it is for current and future global development. According to the literature research and the opinion of the experts, this research identifies the characteristics of innovation that engineering students should acquire, in response to the challenges of engineering in the 21st century, considering as a basis the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in the context of the increasingly demanding requirements of industry 4.0. The identification of the relevant aspects in innovation were categorized according to the expertise and academic performance of the authors. In addition to this, the investigation of the representative elements of Industry 4.0, and the incorporation of Sustainable Development Goals, establish the basis of this study to guide the development of innovation skills in the process of engineering student education. Furthermore, in order to integrate innovation skills, elements of Industry 4.0 and aspects of Sustainable Development Goals, the concept of competence is introduced, with a conceptual structure that considers knowledge, attitude and performance context, thus this research provides a conceptual framework for those interested in constructing innovation skills in engineering, oriented towards the development of an innovation culture and mentality, as part of the expected professional performance.

Disrupting the Fashion Archive: The Serendipity of Manufacturing Mistakes

Literature has documented how designers use fashion archives as explorative inspiration for designing and cutting fashion collections. (Clarke and De La Haye 2014; Rhys 2011; Riegels Melchior and Svensson 2014; Murphy 2011). This derivative research can inform choices of fabric, silhouette, shape and the skills and technologies employed in the execution of the collection. This paper describes a case study that asked design students to identify mistakes in manufacture, in selected garments from the Yorkshire Fashion Archive held at University of Leeds. It explores the potential for accidental or intentional mistakes to be a source of inspiration for fashion design. There is a lack of literature that describes how fashion designers have been inspired by manufacturing mistakes in archive garments, which the research seeks to redress. A broader literature review emphasised how definitions of human mistakes have stimulated ideas and resulted in innovation in different disciplines and contexts and these ideas are transposed into a fashion context within this study. Some of the manufacturing mistakes identified in the archive garments included: sleeves sewn in the wrong way, incorrect stitch tension, using patterns that were unsuitable for a design, cutting fabric without making sure pattern pieces were straight, using the wrong interfacing or no interfacing at all, etc. These findings informed the design and eventual manufacture of a collection of contemporary garments. The documentation of this process provides an important reference point for garment creators to disrupt conventional approaches to fashion design and technology and supports the development of innovative skills. These can be utilised to create new and novel clothing designs with which to enrich the global fashion industry.

Indian economy is always in a need of continuous supply of skilled workers, presently more than half of the rural population is unskilled and is engaged in unorganized sector or agricultural activities due to lack of proper education facilities. While innovative ideas of skilled section, in the form of Start-ups finds the same difficulty at their initial stage, to stand with limited resources and semi- skilled workforce. In order, to provide an incentive to its Start-up India Initiative govt in its Budget FY17 announced for start-ups ” a tax rebate of any 3 years out of 7 initial yrs, which was earlier taxed as 3 out of 5, giving a motivational support to them for develop a good base for their business in their initial term. Also, govt took care on aspect of MSMEs which have always been a major employment generator for the country, giving them a due recognition in budget and allowing them” a rebate of 5% in their tax slab” predicting more jobs from this sector. So we can say that, Govt has taken a friendly Sank alp (objective) towards employing this cashless economy with a workforce comprising of effective and skilled population.

Rural Development and Employment through Skill Development

India has around 600,000 villages with around 64% of its 1.3 billion people living in them. It is absurd to imagine growth without the country-side growing as fast as India's towns and cities. This nation has one of the largest pools of unskilled labor waiting to be trained and utilized. In the absence of proper training, awareness and motivation, it is commonplace for the rural unemployed youth to adopt alternative means of livelihood, many of which are shunned by civil laws. Through this paper the author wishes to throw some light on the importance of Skill Development programs, their current status, the gap that exists between the demand and supply of skilled labor and how employability of rural youth is enhanced by imparting skill oriented training to them. Finally, the paper also emphasizes on how skilled and employable youth contribute to overall development of a rural economy in particular and the nation in general. Data has been gathered from reliable secondary sources. On assumed lines, it was also concluded that the need of the hour for India is to aggressively pursue innovative government programs like Skill India and Make in India so that by the turn of the decade, close to half of the projected eligible population could be employed in various state-run schemes, private organizations. Entrepreneurship is also an outcome of innovative skill development that has immense potential for employment and thus, development of the rural landscape. The paper limits itself to the schemes launched by the respective state governments and central governments thus leaving room for improvement as far as measures taken by privately owned organizations and NGOs are concerned.

Influence of the Level of the Development of Skills on Labour Potential, its Implementation and Choice of Work Position

The article deals with the sociological assessment of the skills level and identification of its influence on some aspects of labour activity: the realization of labour potential, choice of the scope of activity, position and occupation. It suggests an approach based on the subjective evaluation of the population as an instrument of the skills level assessment. The received results are compared with the indirect estimates allowing to characterize some particular components of labour potential which are similar to the considered skills. A specific feature of the research is not only the determination of the professional sphere, occupation and position on the skills level, but also the accounting of the reverse effect. The methodological tools including the methods for the assessment of skills level, labour potential and extent of its implementation in a labour activity have been approved in the Vologda region. The study revealed that, at the present time, the most developed skills are the teamwork, communication and mutual understanding while the least developed ones are the initiative and creativity as well as ability to be retrained and readiness to increase the professional level. It shows that the employees of socially oriented spheres and also the representatives of state structures have more developed skills. At the same time, the development of innovative skills not only leads to the growth of labour potential, but also creates conditions for the employment in workplaces with higher skills requirements. The paper shows that higher skills level along with higher skills requirements leads to more complete implementation of cumulative potential in the labour activity. The received results can be used by regional authorities for the development of the analytical system of labour market, the development of labour force and the labour potential of the population.

The Development of Innovation Skills through Project Based Learning

Innovation is valued worldwide. Some would argue it has been and continues to be one of the strengths of the United States. Both technical and social innovators are sought after by businesses and other organizations, seeking to invent new products, cure diseases, develop new processes, etc. But how does one become an innovator? How do we as individuals acquire the requisite knowledge, skills, and attitudes that are critical for innovation? Are these directly and/or indirectly taught? If directly taught, are there strategies and methodologies that are more efficient and effective in teaching innovation? Can we measure the learning? Project-based and Problem-based Learning, based upon Constructivist theory, are teaching/learning strategies that may be both effective and efficient in helping students become better innovators. This review asks a number of questions, attempts to answer them, and does a review of the history and empirical research on Project-Based Learning/Problem-Based Learning (PBL). Originally, special emphasis of this study focused on the impact Project-based Learning has on 1) Creativity, 2) Self-Efficacy, 3) Energy, 4) Risk-propensity, and 5) Leadership. After no connections were found due to lack of research focusing on PBL and these constructs, the focus turned to the impact PBL has on overall academic performance.

- Complex platforms raise a number of issues, concerning above all problems related to urban and regional planning. These are dealt with in the framework of disciplines that tend more and more to focus on the management of regulative and procedural processes to the detriment of traditional planning practices that place greater emphasis on architectural, urban and landscape design. Hence in order to understand the role that ‘megastructures' take on in the composition of contemporary landscapes, more attention needs to be paid to the design side of things and to the development of innovative skills and know-how. In this regard, the increasingly close interaction between what has traditionally been considered ‘free time' and time given over to shopping (an activity carried out in artificial places situated outside city centres but in areas of landscape interest) is proof solid of how it has now become indispensable to initiate a virtuous process that will reconcile functional needs with higher standards of spatial and environmental quality.
