越南汉语学习者低龄化趋势：成因与现状分析——以胡志明市商业华语培训中心为例

<p>In recent years, there has been a noticeable trend of younger learners taking up Chinese globally. Since the Vietnamese Ministry of Education included Chinese as an elective foreign language in primary schools in 2021, the number of primary and secondary school students learning Chinese has significantly increased. To gain a more comprehensive understanding of the current state of Chinese learning in Vietnamese primary and secondary schools, identify potential challenges in the process of younger learners taking up Chinese, and provide valuable data support for the formulation of long-term Chinese education development plans, this study uses the Hoavan SHZ Chinese Training Center as a case study. It explores the enrollment situation and operational status of young learners over the past ten years. Through data analysis and interviews, the study examines changes in the age groups of young learners, the causes of the trend toward younger learners, the prospects for development, and the challenges faced. The results show that the number of young Chinese learners in Vietnam has been steadily increasing, with the age of learners continuously decreasing, including preschool children starting to learn Chinese. National education policies and the deepening of China-Vietnam cooperation are the main driving forces. To respond to this trend and meet the needs of parents and students, this paper advocates cultivating students' interest in learning, improving the quality of teachers, and refining teaching materials and methods.</p>

The Impact of Low Fertility Rate on Education in China and Its Countermeasures

The change of China's population structure is bound to have a great impact on China's education field. This change has put forward higher requirements for the country's economic and social development. Research on the impact of China's low fertility rate on education and corresponding measures can provide a scientific and powerful basis for government decision-making. This research aims at discussing the influence of low birth rate on Chinese educational development. By analyzing the available documents and positive studies, many factors influence educational development, such as reducing the number of students enrolled, the stress of teachers' job, the unequal allocation of educational resources and the deterioration of educational quality. To address the education challenges of a low birth rate, the following measures are proposed: increase investment in basic education, rationally allocate educational resources, encourage the development of high-quality educational institutions, innovate the education system, and increase support for the education industry. Through these measures, China can provide a better educational environment for the next generation, cultivate outstanding talents, and promote equitable education development. China can overcome the educational challenges brought about by low fertility rates and promote the development of education.

Overseas Chinese Education in Nanyang in the First Half of the 20th Century from " the Educational Review "

Overseas Chinese education in Nanyang is an important part of overseas Chinese education in modern China. the Educational Review is the longest-running, most complete, and most influential periodical on education in modern China. It is one of the most important primary sources for studying the history of education in modern China. This article takes the relevant articles about the education of overseas Chinese in Nanyang published in the Educational Review as the research object, and explores the status of overseas Chinese education in Nanyang in the first half of the 20th century. It analyzes the problems existing in overseas Chinese education in Nanyang at that time in terms of language structure, teacher professionalism, textbook application, student mobility, and division of powers within the school. It further introduces the countermeasures proposed by those who were enthusiastic about overseas Chinese education in Nanyang at that time, such as unifying the Chinese language, selecting teachers, localizing textbooks, flexible learning cycles and limitations on the powers of school boards. Through the exploration of overseas Chinese education in Nanyang in the first half of the 20th century, hope it will be helpful to the development of Chinese education in Southeast Asia today.

The Historical Evolution of Chinese Education in the United States

Chinese education in America is a cultural product of Chinese immigrants to the United States. In 1848, the California Gold Rush attracted many Chinese to the United States, and gradually formed Chinese communities in the local area, and then spontaneously produced Chinese education. At that time, San Francisco Chinatown was the largest Chinatown in the United States, and its Chinese education showed representative characteristics. By studying the origin and development of Chinese education in San Francisco, this paper analyzes the characteristics of Chinese education in the United States, in order to provide experience and reference for contemporary Chinese education in the United States.

Разработка аудиовизуального курса русского языка как иностранного с национальным культурным компонентом в рамках новой образовательной стратегии Китая

The research aims to present the experience of developing an audiovisual set of textbooks with a national-cultural component “Two Worlds – Two Souls” for Chinese university students in the “Russian Language” training program. The paper discusses the basic requirements for Russian language textbooks in China, the structure and content of the author’s set. The research is novel in that it is the first to propose a model of a set of Russian language textbooks for Chinese students focused on the development of two competencies (auditory and intercultural) and including texts about Russia and China (culture, history, traditions, people) in equal proportions. As a result, it was proved that at the present stage of development of Chinese education, materials based on the principle of a dialogue between native and foreign cultures are necessary, compiled taking into account a gradual increase in difficulty, including texts on traditional and modern topics and contributing to the development of many competencies.

A Path Analysis of the Impact of Economic Status on Higher Education in China

Over the decades, as China's education system has been updated, the number of students entering universities for higher education has increased. This is not only a reflection of the rapid economic growth that China has achieved, but also an important aspect of the high quality development of Chinese education. The college entrance examination is an important link for Chinese students to enter universities and a transit point before they enter society. However, differences in scores on the college entrance examination not only represent differences in academic ability, but also reveal the economic status of the families behind the students. This paper analyzes the differences in economic status, aiming to find out the extent to which economic status affects Chinese students' entry into universities. The graphs show how much differences in GDP per capita actually make a difference in education in different regions. The research in this paper will be very important for the reform of education policy.

An Analysis of the Main Explanatory Framework for the Coordinated Development of Overseas Chinese Heritage Language Education and International Chinese Language Education from the Perspective of Symbiosis Theory

Driven by the value and application of Chinese language, global Chinese education has also achieved significant development, with overseas Chinese heritage language education and international Chinese language education being the most important components. This article draws on the theory of symbiosis and proposes an explanatory framework for the symbiosis of overseas Chinese education. It analyzes the symbiotic units, modes, and environments between overseas Chinese heritage language education and international Chinese education, and combines objective development environments and educational needs to summarize optimization strategies to promote the coordinated development of the two major educational undertakings. In the process of conducting overseas Chinese education, in order to promote the international education of Chinese language and the inheritance and development of Chinese culture, relevant parties should start from three aspects: unit, mode, and environment, and expand the symbiotic surface of the two major education undertakings by accurately matching the local Chinese education needs; Combining national and regional Chinese education resources, leveraging the external driving force of a symbiotic environment; Pay attention to the ecological construction of the development of Chinese education and jointly create an integrated model of mutual benefit and symbiosis.

The Origin of Educational Technology in China

Educational Technology is the means and methods employed in educational activities. Since the inception of education, there has been a parallel development of Educational Technology with a rich historical background. The entire evolutionary process of Educational Technology can be divided into three stages: Pre-Educational Technology, Current Educational Technology, and Post-Educational Technology, corresponding to the past, present, and future of Educational Technology. The combination of the two not only promoted the development of Chinese education, but also influenced the process of global education development. Ancient China possessed the necessary and sufficient conditions for the birth of Educational Technology, therefore it can be considered that China is the birthplace of Educational Technology, and the Chinese nation is the indigenous people of Educational Technology.

A Review of Research on the Chinese Learning Needs of Young People in India

As of the end of 2018, there were a total of 135 Confucius Institutes and 115 Confucius Classrooms in 39 Asian countries, but there were only two Confucius Institutes in India, namely the Confucius Institute at Vellore University of Technology and the Confucius Institute at the University of Mumbai. Some scholars have conducted in-depth research on the current situation of Chinese teaching in some universities and Confucius Institutes offering Chinese majors in India, trying to disclose the current problems of Chinese teaching in India; some scholars have also comparatively analyzed the similarities and differences between Hindi and Chinese, aiming at declosing the difficulties such as pronunciation and grammar in the process of learning Chinese, and the teaching suggestions are made. However, there are very few studies on the Chinese learning needs of Indian young people. Learner needs analysis plays an important role in second language teaching. As the mainstay of India's future development, Indian young people's needs for learning Chinese are not only an important part of national Chinese teaching research, but also have a profound impact and implications for the development of Chinese education.

This paper will make a comprehensive evaluation of the current situation of Chinese education in the Philippines through SWOT analysis. By analyzing its advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and threats, we will provide useful suggestions for the future development of Chinese education in the Philippines. It is hoped that this study can provide reference for relevant educational institutions, policy makers and Chinese communities, and promote the prosperity and progress of Chinese education in the Philippines.

Factors Affecting the Development of Education in China

The development of China's education today is a remarkable achievement, but some researchers found that there are still many factors affecting the development of China's education. In view of this situation, this paper collects some data like PISA 2018, official data of the Ministry of Education, and official survey data of the government and analyzes them, and then comes to factors affecting education in China. This study found that gender, areas, views and values affect the development of education in China. There are differences between boys and girls in their performance and future planning. The difference in economic conditions between urban and rural areas has led to different levels of education. Different people's cognitive bias towards general education and vocational education has affected the overall development of Chinese education. Finally, some suggestions on improving the law, increasing investment and expanding publicity are put forward, which is conducive to solving some existing problems.

Education Equity for Left-behind Children

With huge increases of population migration from rural areas to metropolitan areas in the process of China’s urbanization, the education issue of rural left-behind children (LBC) has become increasingly prominent and severe. Parents’ high mobility causes large numbers of rural children being left-behind, which has resulted in a series of problems in nurturing LBC, such as poor guardianship and supervision, low academic performance, and so on. Taking into consideration the urban-rural disparities of Chinese education development, the increasing inequality in LBC education has particularly started to plague Chinese compulsory education and society. This paper mainly presents current education conditions of LBC, using empirical data related to children who have been left-behind and examples of education inequity towards LBC. Solutions to some of the problems that surround the issue of LBC’s education equity, including measures that must be carried out by governments, schools, parents and local communities in order to promote LBC education equity are offered. Specific initiatives for the establishment of education support projects particularly tailored to the needs of LBC are proposed.

New National Initiatives of Modernizing Education in China

Purpose: This article aims to shed light on a latest education policy blueprint in China, titled China’s education modernization 2035, which was issued by the Central Government of China in February of 2019. Design/Approach/Methods: This is an analytical policy review. Findings: The author argues that this new Chinese educational policy was driven by three factors: UN 2030 Agenda, China’s national strategy, and Chinese educational reform and improvement. In China’s education modernization 2035, eight key principles were rooted in the Chinese context and also recognized by international society. According to this policy initiative, 10 specific strategical tasks are outlined to reform Chinese education toward 2035. Originality/Value: The article will be useful to learn and understand the new directions and the future approaches of Chinese education development and reform toward 2035.
