Disulfidptosis-related Protein RPN1 may be a Novel Anti-osteoporosis Target of Kaempferol.

Osteoporosis (OP) is an age-related skeletal disease. Kaempferol can regulate bone mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) osteogenesis to improve OP, but its mechanism related to disulfidptosis, a newly discovered cell death mechanism, remains unclear. The study aimed to investigate the biological function and immune mechanism of disulfidptosis- related ribophorin I (RPN1) in OP and to experimentally confirm that RPN1 is the target for the treatment of OP with kaempferol. Differential expression analysis was conducted on disulfide-related genes extracted from the GSE56815 and GSE7158 datasets. Four machine learning algorithms identified disease signature genes, with RPN1 identified as a significant risk factor for OP through the nomogram. Validation of RPN1 differential expression in OP patients was performed using the GSE56116 dataset. The impact of RPN1 on immune alterations and biological processes was explored. Predictive ceRNA regulatory networks associated with RPN1 were generated via miRanda, miRDB, and TargetScan databases. Molecular docking estimated the binding model between kaempferol and RPN1. The targeting mechanism of kaempferol on RPN1 was confirmed through pathological HE staining and immunohistochemistry in ovariectomized (OVX) rats. RPN1 was abnormally overexpressed in the OP cohort, associated with TNF signaling, hematopoietic cell lineage, and NF-kappa B pathway. Immune infiltration analysis showed a positive correlation between RPN1 expression and CD8+ T cells and resting NK cells, while a negative correlation with CD4+ naive T cells, macrophage M1, T cell gamma delta, T cell follicular helper cells, activated mast cells, NK cells, and dendritic cells, was found. Four miRNAs and 17 lncRNAs associated with RPN1 were identified. Kaempferol exhibited high binding affinity (-7.2 kcal/mol) and good stability towards the RPN1. The experimental results verified that kaempferol could improve bone microstructure destruction and reverse the abnormally high expression of RPN1 in the femur of ovariectomized rats. RPN1 may be a new diagnostic biomarker in patients with OP, and may serve as a new target for kaempferol to improve OP.

Potential of feeding microwave-treated forage hays to improve sheep intake, digestion, nitrogen partitioning, and metabolism

Microwave (MW) treatment has been suggested to improve forage hays' nutritive value and sheep growth performance. However, the extent to which the MW-treated forage hay affects apparent digestibility and nitrogen partitioning is not documented. This study examined the potential to use the MW as a novel thermal treatment to improve forage hay intake, digestibility, and nitrogen utilisation of sheep. A total of 24 merino rams (18 months of age, 42 ± 2.0 kg initial body weight) were randomly divided into four dietary treatments: Control lucerne hay (CLH), MW-treated lucerne hay (MLH), Control wheat hay (CWH), and MW-treated wheat hay (MWH). The study had 14 days adaption and 7 7-day sample collection period, with 6 sheep replicates/treatment. Feed, faeces, urine, and blood plasma samples were collected. Higher dry matter (DM) intake was observed in MLH vs. CLH (P < 0.001). The DM and organic matter digestibility both increased by 8 % in MLH compared to CLH (P <0.001). The digestibility of neutral detergent fibre (NDF), acid detergent fibre (ADF), and nitrogen increased by 12 %, 9 %, and 10 %, respectively in MLH compared to CLH (P < 0.001). The MLH-feed sheep showed higher nitrogen retention (P = 0.037) and microbial nitrogen synthesis (P = 0.047) compared to CLH-fed sheep. A limited effect was observed in CWH vs. MWH, with only ADF digestibility (P = 0.023) and plasma glucose (P < 0.05) being higher in sheep fed with MWH. Electron microscope images showed clear cell microstructure destruction (P <0.001) due to MW treatment in lucerne hay but there was no difference observed in wheat hay. The result provided first-hand comprehensive data to quantify MW treatment's effect on hay quality and sheep performance, with potential mechanisms explained underpinning the observed changes.

Traditional Chinese medicine in osteoporosis: from pathogenesis to potential activity.

Osteoporosis characterized by decreased bone density and mass, is a systemic bone disease with the destruction of microstructure and increase in fragility. Osteoporosis is attributed to multiple causes, including aging, inflammation, diabetes mellitus, and other factors induced by the adverse effects of medications. Without treatment, osteoporosis will further progress and bring great trouble to human life. Due to the various causes, the treatment of osteoporosis is mainly aimed at improving bone metabolism, inhibiting bone resorption, and promoting bone formation. Although the currently approved drugs can reduce the risk of fragility fractures in individuals, a single drug has limitations in terms of safety and effectiveness. By contrast, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), a characteristic discipline in China, including syndrome differentiation, Chinese medicine prescription, and active ingredients, shows unique advantages in the treatment of osteoporosis and has received attention all over the world. Therefore, this review summarized the pathogenic factors, pathogenesis, therapy limitations, and advantages of TCM, aiming at providing new ideas for the prevention and treatment of OP.

Network pharmacology analysis and experimental validation to explore the mechanism of kaempferol in the treatment of osteoporosis

Osteoporosis (OP) is a prevalent global disease characterized by bone mass loss and microstructural destruction, resulting in increased bone fragility and fracture susceptibility. Our study aims to investigate the potential of kaempferol in preventing and treating OP through a combination of network pharmacology and molecular experiments. Kaempferol and OP-related targets were retrieved from the public database. A protein–protein interaction (PPI) network of common targets was constructed using the STRING database and visualized with Cytoscape 3.9.1 software. Enrichment analyses for GO and KEGG of potential therapeutic targets were conducted using the Hiplot platform. Molecular docking was performed using Molecular operating environment (MOE) software, and cell experiments were conducted to validate the mechanism of kaempferol in treating OP. Network pharmacology analysis identified 54 overlapping targets between kaempferol and OP, with 10 core targets identified. The primarily enriched pathways included atherosclerosis-related signaling pathways, the AGE/RAGE signaling pathway, and the TNF signaling pathway. Molecular docking results indicated stable binding of kaempferol and two target proteins, AKT1 and MMP9. In vitro cell experiments demonstrated significant upregulation of AKT1 expression in MC3T3-E1 cells (p < 0.001) with kaempferol treatment, along with downregulation of MMP9 expression (p < 0.05) compared to the control group. This study predicted the core targets and pathways of kaempferol in OP treatment using network pharmacology, and validated these findings through in vitro experiments, suggesting a promising avenue for future clinical treatment of OP.

The longevity evaluation of multi-metal stabilization by MgO in Pb/Zn smelter-contaminated soils.

The re-mobilization risks of potentially toxic elements (PTEs) during stabilization deserve to be considered. In this study, artificial simulation evaluation methods based on the environmental stress of freeze-thaw (F-T), acidification and variable pH were conducted to assess the long-term effectiveness of PTEs stabilizedby MgO in Pb/Zn smelter contaminated soils. Among common stabilizingmaterials, MgO was considered asthe best remediation material, since PTEs bioavailability reduced by 55.48% for As, 19.58% for Cd, 10.57% for Cu, and 26.33% for Mn, respectively. The stabilization effects of PTEs by MgO were best at the dosage of 5 wt%, but these studied PTEswould re-mobilize after 30 timesF-T cycles. Acid and base buffering capacity results indicated that the basicity of contaminated soils with MgO treatment reduced under F-T action, and the leachedPTEs concentrations would exceed the safety limits of surface water quality standard in China (GB3838-2002) after acidification of2325 years. No significant changes were foundin thepH-dependent patterns of PTEs before and after F-Tcycles. However, after F-Tcycles, the leaching concentrations of PTEs increased due to the destruction of soil microstructure and the functionality of hydration products formed by MgO, as indicated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM)coupled withenergydispersive Xray spectroscopy (EDS) results. Hence, these findings would provide beneficial references for soil remediation assessments ofcontaminated soils under multi-environmental stress.

SIRT3: A Potential Target of Different Types of Osteoporosis.

Osteoporosis (OP) is a common age-related disease. OP is mainly a decrease in bone density and mass caused by the destruction of bone microstructure, which leads to an increase in bone fragility. SIRT3 is a mitochondrial deacetylase that plays critical roles in mitochondrial homeostasis, metabolic regulation, gene transcription, stress response, and gene stability. Studies have shown that the higher expression levels of SIRT3 are associated with decreased levels of oxidative stress in the body and may play important roles in the prevention of age-related diseases. SIRTs can enhance the osteogenic potential and osteoblastic activity of bone marrow mesenchymal stromal cells not only by enhancing PGC-1α, FOXO3, SOD2, and oxidative phosphorylation, but also by anti-aging and reducing mitochondrial autophagy. SIRT3 is able to upregulate antioxidant enzymes to exert an inhibitory effect on osteoclasts, however, it has been shown that the inflammatory cascade response can in turn increase SIRT3 and inhibit osteoclast differentiation through the AMPK-PGC-1β pathway. SIRT3 plays an important role in different types of osteoporosis by affecting osteoblasts, osteoclasts, and bone marrow mesenchymal cells. In this review, we discuss the classification and physiological functions of SIRTs, the effects of SIRT3 on OCs osteoblasts, and BMSCs, and the roles and mechanisms of SIRT3 in different types of OP, such as diabetic OP, glucocorticoid-induced OP, postmenopausal OP, and senile OP.

Negative Lattice Expansion in an O3‐Type Transition‐Metal Oxide Cathode for Highly Stable Sodium‐Ion Batteries

AbstractThe sodium extraction/insertion in layered transition‐metal oxide (TMO) cathode materials are typically accompanied by slab sliding and lattice changes, leading to microstructure destruction and capacity decay. Herein, negative lattice expansion is observed in an O3 type Ni‐based layered cathode of Na0.9Ni0.32Zn0.08Fe0.1Mn0.3Ti0.2O2 upon Na+ extraction. It is attributed to the weak Zn2+−O2− orbital hybridization and increased electron density of the surrounding oxygen for reinforced interlayer O−O repulsive force. This enables gliding of TMO slabs for the intergrowth phase transition of P3→OP2 to alleviate lattice strain with moderate lattice shrinkage, which exhibits general interslab spacings and volume changes as low as 2.4 % and 1.9 %, respectively. The strong Ti−O bonds accommodate the internal distortion of TMO6 octahedra due to the flexibility of TiO6 octahedra during cycling. These endow a high specific capacity of 144.9 mAh g−1 and excellent cycling performance of pouch‐type sodium‐ion batteries with 93 % capacity retention after 3600 cycles.

UPLC-Q-TOF-MS-based metabolomics reveals mechanism of Morinda officinalis iridoid glycosides in treating rheumatoid arthritis and bone loss

This study aimed to investigate the therapeutic effects of Morinda officinalis iridoid glycosides(MOIG) on paw edema and bone loss of rheumatoid arthritis(RA) rats, and analyze its potential mechanism based on ultra-high performance liguid chromatography-guadrupole time-of-flight tandem mass spectrometry(UPLC-Q-TOF-MS) serum metabolomics. RA rats were established by injecting bovin type Ⅱ collagen. The collagen-induced arthritis(CIA) rats were administered drug by gavage for 8 weeks, the arthritic score were used to evaluate the severity of paw edem, serum bone metabolism biochemical parameters were measured by ELISA kits, Masson staining was used to observe the bone microstructure of the femur in CIA rats. UPLC-Q-TOF-MS was used to analyze the alteration of serum metabolite of CIA rats, principal component analysis(PCA) and partial least squares-discriminant analysis(PLS-DA) were used to screen the potential biomarkers, KEGG database analysis were used to construct related metabolic pathways. The results demonstrated that the arthritic score, serum levels of IL-6 and parameters related with bone metabolism including OCN, CTX-Ⅰ, DPD and TRAP were significantly increased, and the ratio of OPG and RANKL was significantly decreased, the microstructure of bone tissue and cartilage were destructed in CIA rats, while MOIG treatments could significantly reduce arthritis score, mitigate the paw edema, reverse the changes of serum biochemical indicators related with bone metabolism, and improve the microstructure of bone tissue and cartilage of CIA rats. The non-targeted metabolomics results showed that 24 altered metabolites were identified in serum of CIA rats; compared with normal group, 13 significantly altered metabolites related to RA were identified in serum of CIA rats, mainly involving alanine, aspartate and glutamate metabolism; compared with CIA model group, MOIG treatment reversed the alteration of 15 differential metabolites, mainly involving into alanine, aspartate and glutamate metabolism, D-glutamine and D-glutamate metabolism, taurine and hypotaurine metabolism, valine, leucine and isoleucine biosynthesis. Therefore, MOIG significantly alleviated paw edema, improved the destruction of microstructure of bone and cartilage in CIA rats maybe through involving into the regulation of amino acid metabolism.

Macro-micro numerical analysis of granular materials considering principal stress rotation based on DEM simulation of dynamic hollow cylinder test

The granular materials were subjected to the principal stress rotation effect induced by traffic loads, wave loads, and earthquake loads in geotechnical engineering practice. In order to reveal the influence of principal stress rotation on the macro-micro dynamic characteristics, this study proposed a numerical simulation method modeling physical dynamic hollow cylinder tests. Taking the dynamic stress state induced by traffic loading as an example, the numerical test model of the dynamic hollow cylinder was conducted on the subgrade soil, and the influence of principal stress rotation on the macro-micro evolution of dynamic characteristics was analyzed.The results showed that the principal stress rotation accelerated the development of vertical accumulative plastic strain and particle displacement, which aggravated micro-structure destruction of granular material. Moreover, the increase of confining stress declined the variations of normal contact numbers in each direction, which resisted the shear stress induced by principal stress rotation. This study provided a novel method to investigate the macro-micro dynamic characteristics of granular materials subjected to principal stress rotation, which made up for the inability of physical hollow cylinder tests to study microscopic evolution.

Improvement on corrosion resistance of molten calcium-magnesium-alumina-silicate (CMAS) by Yb2O3-Y2O3 co-stabilized ZrO2 ceramic pellets

Five types of ceramic pellets with different doping contents of Yb2O3-Y2O3 co-stabilized ZrO2 (YbYSZ) (x mol.% Yb2O3 - (4.5-x) mol.% Y2O3-ZrO2; X = 0 (YSZ), 1, 2, 3, 4) were designed to investigate corrosion behavior under CMAS attack. The results show that the corrosion resistance of YbYSZ increased with increasing Yb2O3 content, which was attributed to the excellent phase stability and lower diffusion of Yb3+. More degradation with microstructural destruction was observed in the YSZ pellets, and less degradation was observed in YbYSZ with 4 mol.% Yb2O3 (YbYSZ-4). Further, YbYSZ-4 performs a larger contact angle than others, promoting CMAS resistance.

MFG-E8 Alleviates Cognitive Impairments Induced by Chronic Cerebral Hypoperfusion by Phagocytosing Myelin Debris and Promoting Remyelination.

Chronic cerebral hypoperfusion is one of the pathophysiological mechanisms contributing to cognitive decline by causing white matter injury. Microglia phagocytosing myelin debris in a timely manner can promote remyelination and contribute to the repair of white matter. However, milk fat globule-epidermal growth factor-factor 8 (MFG-E8), a microglial phagocytosis-related protein, has not been well studied in hypoperfusion-related cognitive dysfunction. We found that the expression of MFG-E8 was significantly decreased in the brain of mice after bilateral carotid artery stenosis (BCAS). MFG-E8 knockout mice demonstrated more severe BCAS-induced cognitive impairments in the behavioral tests. In addition, we discovered that the deletion of MFG-E8 aggravated white matter damage and the destruction of myelin microstructure through fluorescent staining and electron microscopy. Meanwhile, MFG-E8 overexpression by AAV improved white matter injury and increased the number of mature oligodendrocytes after BCAS. Moreover, in vitro and in vivo experiments showed that MFG-E8 could enhance the phagocytic function of microglia via the αVβ3/αVβ5/Rac1 pathway and IGF-1 production to promote the differentiation of oligodendrocyte progenitor cells into mature oligodendrocytes. Interestingly, we found that MFG-E8 was mainly derived from astrocytes, not microglia. Our findings suggest that MFG-E8 is a potential therapeutic target for cognitive impairments following cerebral hypoperfusion.

Deterioration mechanism of sulfoaluminate concrete at high temperature

In order to explore the deterioration law and mechanism of sulfoaluminate concrete under high temperature environment, this paper studied the deterioration law of sulfoaluminate concrete by observing the crack changes of sulfoaluminate concrete samples under different water/cement ratio, different ages and different temperatures after experiencing different high temperatures, and measuring the residual mass ratio, infrared temperature rise, ultrasonic pulse speed and compressive strength. The results show that the loss of strength and mass is the fastest when the temperature of sulfoaluminate concrete is 200 °C, and the loss of strength and mass becomes slower and slower with the increase in temperature. The main reasons for the deterioration of sulfoaluminate concrete are the destruction of microstructure by ettringite and Ca(OH)2 by dehydration at high temperature. The higher the initial strength of sulfoaluminate concrete, the greater the strength loss after high temperature, but the higher the residual strength.

Bone-targeted engineered bacterial extracellular vesicles delivering miRNA to treat osteoporosis

Osteoporosis (OP), characterized by decreased bone density and destruction of bone microstructure, is a common systemic bone disease in the elderly. Conventional therapies suffer from poor targeting and long-term toxicity. Engineered bacterial extracellular vesicles (BEVs) containing bioactive molecules show great potential as alternative OP therapies. Here, we developed a delivery system based on BEVs secreted probiotic Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (LGG). Bone-targeting peptides were anchored on the LGG-EVs membranes, which endowed LGG-EVs the ability to deliver intrinsic miRNA to bone microenvironment. Bone-targeted LGG-EVs (BT-LGG-EVs) exhibited great bone targeting capability without significant toxicity. BT-LGG-EVs not only promoted osteogenic differentiation and mineralization but also inhibited the formation of osteoclasts. Furthermore, BT-LGG-EVs were demonstrated to be able to attenuate the OVX-induced osteoporotic phenotypes. Our study demonstrated that BT-LGG-EVs hold great promise for use as an innovative, safe, and effective solution for the treatment of OP.

Non-thermal treatments of strawberry pulp: The relationship between quality attributes and microstructure

The relationship between quality attributes and microstructure in strawberry pulp after pasteurization (PS), ultrasound (US), electron beam irradiation (EB), and high pressure (HP) treatments was investigated. The results showed that US treatment decreased the viscosity to the lowest by 80.15% and increased the a* value, cloudy stability, and contents of titratable acid, total soluble solid, organic acids, total phenols, total flavonoids, and total anthocyanins (TAC), as well as its antioxidant capacity, due to the decrease in particle size, the destruction of microstructure, and the release of intracellular compounds. US and EB treatments could maintain the volatile compounds. The greatest deterioration in TAC and volatile compound content was found in the pulp treated with PS and HP treatments. HP treatment was beneficial to the enhancement of apparent viscosity, organic acids, and soluble sugar. These results provided insights into the enhancement of quality attributes in strawberry pulp due to the microstructure change.

Chitosan coating with grape peel extract: A promising coating to enhance the freeze–thaw stability of beef

This study investigated the effect of chitosan coating with grape peel extracts (CH + GPE) on the physiochemical properties, protein and lipid oxidation, microstructure, and bacterial community diversity of beef during freeze–thaw (F–T) cycles. The results indicated that the CH + GPE groups had lower pH values, total aerobic count, total volatile base nitrogen, and thiobarbituric acid reactive substance values and better protection against color, water holding capacity, and sensory quality after five F–T cycles. The CH + GPE coating effectively inhibited beef microstructure destruction during the F–T cycles. High-throughput sequencing analysis revealed that the CH + GPE coating contributed to a decline in the bacterial diversity of beef and inhibited the growth of pathogenic bacteria. Interestingly, the CH + GPE coating affected the correlation between quality parameters and bacteria in beef. Consequently, the CH + GPE coating can be used as a novel packaging for preventing the loss of frozen meat quality due to temperature fluctuations.

The potential mediation of hypoxia-inducible factor-1α in heat shock protein 27 translocations, caspase-3 and calpain activities and yak meat tenderness during postmortem aging

The present study aimed to characterize the influence of hypoxia-inducible factor-1α on heat shock protein 27 and cytochrome c translocation, yak meat microstructure destruction, and endogenous enzymes activities, refining the understanding of the tenderization process after slaughter. Postmortem yak longissimus thoracis et lumborum muscles were incubated with 0.9% saline or hypoxia-inducible factor-1α stabilizer dimethyloxaloylglycine at 4 °C for 6, 12, 24, 72, and 120 h. Results showed that hypoxia-inducible factor-1α activation promoted heat shock protein 27 migration and cytochrome c release, facilitating (P < 0.05) caspase-3 activity by mediating the heat shock protein 27/caspase-3 interaction but did not exert (P > 0.05) significant effects on the calpain-1 activity. Additionally, hypoxia-inducible factor-1α activation contributed to the mitochondrial apoptosis cascade, leading to a higher (P < 0.01) apoptosis rate. Therefore, these observations indicate that hypoxia-inducible factor-1α affects caspase-3 activity and tenderness of postmortem muscle through distinct regulatory mechanisms, possibly, in part, with heat shock protein 27 and cytochrome c mediation.

Ni‐rich Cathode Materials for High‐performance Li‐ion Batteries: Challenges, Progress and Perspectives

AbstractNi‐rich layered ternary oxides are considered as one of optimal cathode materials for lithium‐ion batteries because of high energy density and low raw material cost. However, their local structural defect, microstructural destruction and poor interfacial stability deteriorate the specific energy density, lifespan and safety of batteries. Therefore, understanding the root cause of failure and clarifying their relationship in depth can pave the way to promoting the modification and application of Ni‐rich cathode materials (NRCM). In this review, the chain‐like failure of NRCM triggered by multiple‐scaled structure variations are systematically analyzed based on their fundamental characteristic. Subsequently, current tailoring strategies of NRCM at different size scales are especially discussed. Finally, along with the concluding remarks and remaining challenges, the future development possibilities are discussed to stimulate the commercialization of NRCM.

Isoimperatorin attenuates bone loss by inhibiting the binding of RANKL to RANK

Osteoporosis, an immune disease characterized by bone mass loss and microstructure destruction, is often seen in postmenopausal women. Isoimperatorin (ISO), a bioactive, natural furanocoumarin isolated from many traditional Chinese herbal medicines, has therapeutic effects against various diseases; however, its effect on bone homeostasis remains unclear. In this study, we investigated the effect of ISO on the differentiation and activation of osteoclast and its molecular mechanism in vitro, and evaluated the effect of ISO on bone metabolism by ovariectomized (OVX) rat model. In vitro experiments showed that ISO affected RANKL-induced MAPK, NFAT, NFATc1 trafficking and expression, osteoclast F-actin banding, osteoclast-characteristic gene expression, ROS inhibitory activity, and calcium oscillations, NF-κB signaling pathway. In vivo experiments showed that oral administration of ISO effectively reduced bone loss caused by ovariectomy and retained bone mass.Collectively, ISO inhibits RANK/RANKL binding, thereby reducing the activity of NFATc1, calcium, and ROS and inhibiting osteoclast generation. In addition, ISO protects bone mass by slowing osteoclast production and downregulating NFATc1 gene and protein expression in the bone tissue microenvironment and inhibits OVX-induced bone loss in vivo.

The role and regulation mechanism of Chinese traditional fitness exercises on the bone and cartilage tissue in patients with osteoporosis: A narrative review.

Osteoporosis (ops) is a systemic degenerative bone disease characterized by bone mass reduction, bone mineral density loss, bone microstructure destruction, bone fragility, and increased fracture susceptibility. Thus far, drug therapy is the main method used to prevent and treat osteoporosis. However, long-term drug treatment will inevitably lead to drug resistance and certain side effects. In response, rehabilitation treatment is generally recommended, which involves drug supplementation combined with the treatment. A Chinese traditional fitness exercise is an organic combination of sports and traditional Chinese medicine with a series of advantages such as being safe, convenient, non-toxic, and harmless. Hence, it is one of the rehabilitation methods widely used in clinical practice. By searching the CNKI, PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, Cochrane Library, and other relevant databases, our research clarifies the current situation of four kinds of Chinese traditional fitness exercises widely used in clinical practice, namely, Taijiquan, Baduanjin, Wuqinxi, and Yijin Jing. In addition, the molecular mechanism of osteoporosis is summarized in this study. Based on the research, Chinese traditional fitness exercises are expected to directly stimulate the bone through a mechanical load to improve bone density. Moderate and regular traditional Chinese fitness exercises also improve osteoporosis by regulating the endocrine system with the secretion of hormones and factors such as estrogen and irisin, which are beneficial for bone formation. Finally, the purpose of promoting bone formation, reducing bone loss, and preventing and treating osteoporosis is achieved. The various means of Chinese traditional fitness exercises have different emphases, and the effect of improving bone density differs in various parts of the body. The exercisers may choose the exercise flexibly based on their own needs. Chinese traditional fitness exercises can improve the bone density of the exercisers and relieve pain, improve balance, and regulate the psychological state. Consequently, it is worth promoting to be applied in clinical practices.
