Introduction: The current study is to get a glimpse of various confounders in bronchial asthma in order to achieve better remission and symptom control rates.Materials and Methods: Patients presenting to the pulmonary medicine department between September 2021 and August 2022 and eventually diagnosed with bronchial asthma by the consultant, based on the detailed clinical evaluation and investigations, were taken up for this study. Demographics, PFT, details of current asthma treatment, presence of any co-morbidities and AQI on the day of evaluation were documented. The above data were collected in an Excel form and statistically evaluated.Results: Various parameters associated with bronchial asthma were evaluated in our study population.Conclusion: This pilot study highlights factors impacting bronchial asthma diagnosis and management. It emphasizes the importance of thorough assessment, adherence to treatment guidelines, addressing comorbidities, and patient education. Further research is needed to validate findings and develop effective management strategies.
