Objectives To teletrain at least 1 dentist by the establishment of the Health Service Talcahuano in prevalent pathology of the oral mucosa with emphasis on the early detection of cancer. Additionally, to implement the Asynchronous Teleinterconsultation through the Teleprocessing Platform, delivering remote dental advice, improving access to the specialist, achieving a better user satisfaction, and early and timely investigation of oral pathologies. Study Design Twelve telepresence classes of 45 minutes in the relevant topics of the pathology of the oral mucosa dictated from Hospital Las Higueras to the selected establishments connected, with evaluation through clinical cases, entrance test, and written tests (9 dentists every year in 2016, 2017, and 2018). Training in how to send asynchronous teleinterconsultations with the use of images. Results Through this strategy, it is possible to keep colleagues constantly updated with case contents, help them to perform a better oral examination, and maintain closer contact with the specialist, thereby allowing them to keep a record of the cases and to give better attention to the user. Conclusions The strategy of teletraining and teleinterconsultation in oral pathology allows a better derivation of patients and a resolution of the diseases in a more timely way.
