The oxidation behavior of TC4-xZr (x = 0, 20, 30, 47) alloys at 600 °C is studied. The oxidation kinetics of TC4 alloy and TC4-20Zr alloy at 600 °C follows a parabolic rule, while the oxidation of TC4-30Zr alloy and TC4-47Zr alloy at 600 °C follows the linear law. The thickness of the oxide film increases obviously with the increase of Zr content. The surface of TC4 alloy is a dense oxide layer composed of TiO2 compound. With the addition of Zr, ZrO2 and ZrTiO4 compounds are gradually formed, and cracks are formed at the oxide film and oxide film/matrix interface. In short, the addition of Zr reduces the oxidation resistance of TC4 at 600 °C.
