An Analysis of Teachers’ and Parents’ Perceptions on English Online Learning at Junior High School

Teachers are one of the main factors for the success of education. Parents play an important role in the task and are responsible for the formation of children's character both physically and spiritually. As educators, teachers are the main actors who walk side by side with parents and other important elements. This research analyzes the teachers' perception about English online learning design and the parents' perception about English online learning design at SMP Negeri 01 Seputih Surabaya. This research used a qualitative approach. The results showed that: 1) The teacher's perception of the implementation of online learning in English shows that the teacher feels that online learning is difficult to apply especially in shaping the character of students because teachers are less able to monitor and supervise students directly, lack facilities that support online learning, and teachers also complain that in delivering learning materials, students find it difficult to understand the lessons being taught. 2) Parents' perceptions of the implementation of online English learning show the ineffectiveness of online learning, this is due to parents who feel that their children are not optimal when studying and are still having problems while studying. Perilaku Komunikasi Guru SMA di Kota Bandung dalam Pembelajaran Daring di Masa Pandemi COVID-19

Government of Indonesia issue a social restriction policy to slow the acceleration of COVID-19 spread. One of them is online learning, which uses the method of learning from face-to-face to online meetings. It is adapted to students from elementary schools to higher education. These changes have implications for changes in teacher communication behavior in conveying learning to their students. Teachers and students who were used to face to-face learning also made adaptations. This study revealed the communication behavior of high school teachers in the city of Bandung in online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, to explore the communication behavior of high school teachers in the city of Bandung in delivering learning materials to their students online during the COVID-19 pandemic. Data were collected through interviews with selected high school teachers. We also use related sources of literature and literature as supporting data. The results showed that the communication behavior of high school teachers in the city of Bandung in online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic was essentially conveying learning material to students using internet-based media or applications. These conditions encourage teachers how to use the applications to convey learning material to students. The teachers communication behavior with students during the COVID-19 pandemic was adaptive, according to the situations and conditions they faced. Among other things, reducing the number of subjects, shortened the study hours, and duration of learning, and giving tolerance to students in conducting assignments. Communication with fellow teachers is supportive, by helping master the use of applications. The selection of learning applications adapts to the ability of teachers and students to use it. Obstacles in online learning subsist of technical and non-technical obstacles. Teachers interpret online learning as an opportunity to learn technology and apply it to learning creatively. The conclusion of this study, online learning, changes the communication behavior of teachers in conveying learning material to their students and interpreting it as an opportunity to learn to master technology.

Analisis problematika guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring pada siswa kelas rendah sekolah dasar

<em>The purpose of this study to describe the implementation of online learning, learning problems experienced by teachers, and the solutions used to overcome the problems that arise in the implementation of online learning in SD Negeri 1 Krasak Boyolali. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were second grade teachers at SD Negeri 1 Krasak Boyolali. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity test of the data used in this research is triangulation of sources and triangulation techniques. The data analysis techniques used in this study using Miles and Huberman analysis model consisting of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The result showed that there were problems experience by grade II teachers when conducting online learning activities. At the planning stage teachers experience problems when preparing online lesson plans, at the implementation stage teachers experience problems when supervising and delivering learning materials, while at the evaluation stage teachers experience problems in assessing knowledge, attitudes, and skills. The conclusion of this study is that the problems experienced by teachers during online learning activities can be found a solution by adjusting the state of students and the school environment.</em>

Rancang Bangun Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Virtual Reality Dengan Pendekatan Metode Scrum

Learning media is a media that can be used by teachers to deliver learning materials to students. Learning media can be developed in the form of various activities, one of which is outbound activities. Outbound is a learning method carried out in the form of experiential learning through light game activities to hone intelligence and agility. In the digital world, outbound activities can be done with the help of Virtual Reality (VR) technology. VR is a computer technology that allows users to interact in a virtual world environment. With a few modifications, VR technology can be used to support play and learning activities. This research was conducted to develop a VR-based learning media called Edubound. The development of Edubound is carried out using the Scrum method. Based on the results obtained, the scrum method used in this study proved to be quite responsive and adaptive in handling user needs. On the other hand, the speed of developing Edubound learning media which is the main focus in this research can also be accommodated well by the Scrum method. In general, it can be concluded that the Scrum method can work well in the process of developing Edubound learning media.

The Effectiveness of the Android Application on the Lesson Bottom Pass Learning Outcomes of Volleyball for Class X Students

<em>Until now, after the pandemic began to subside and face-to-face learning mode is held, smartphones have become a supporting object in almost every aspect of students' daily activities, because they are considered practical and efficient. Researchers want to develop android-based interactive learning media on volleyball material that can help PJOK teachers in delivering learning materials that are interesting and easy to understand for students, so that students are not bored and learning objectives can be achieved. The android application is designed to display a variety of materials, learning videos, to cognitive assessments. The study was conducted to test the effectiveness of the Android Application towards the Learning Outcomes of Passing Down Volleyball Students in Grade X of SMAN 1 Bandongan. Based on experimental research using quantitative data analysis, it was concluded that the android application was effective and efficient on student learning outcomes, especially the basic technique of passing down volleyball.</em>

The Development of Animated Video Learning Media on Theme 7 Subtheme 2 Learning 1 in Grade IV SDN Tejo 1 Mojoagung

The use of learning media when in class can help students in understanding the material. Learning media is a means to deliver learning materials that can stimulate the mind and build students' interest in learning so that learning objectives can be achieved. For this reason, it is important to have learning media during teaching and learning activities. This research was conducted aimed at “ (1) knowing the process of developing animated video learning media Theme 7 Subtheme 2 Learning 1 Grade IV, (2) knowing the implementation of animation video learning media products Theme 7 Subtheme 2 Learning 1 Grade IV, (3) knowing student responses to the mediia of learning animated videos Theme 7 Subtheme 2 Learning 1 Grade IV”. The type of research used is development research. The development model used for the development of animated video learning media is the ADDIE model. There are 5 stages in this ADDIE model, namely: Analyze, Design, Develpoment, Implementation, Evaluation. The results of research that has been carried out show that this animated video learning media is very suitable for use in learning. From the validation results, animated video learning media obtained a percentage of 93.75% with the category of very valid or used without revision. From the results of the pre-test and posttest, student learning outcomes have increased after being tested for development products. From the student response questionnaire, it showed an average percentage of 84.58% with a very interesting category.

The results obtained that prospective teachers assess that the home study application can assist teachers in delivering learning materials during the. current Covid-19 period because in the learning house the material presented is clear, always follows the current learning developments, there are many features that can help and improve student learning. Not only in the form of electronic books, there are also videos and questions that students can practice immediately after studying the material. The conclusion. of the study is that. the perspective of prospective teachers argues that utilizing this application is a new way to increase student. learning motivation which by using this application makes it. easier for students. to find materials that they do not understand.

Development of 3D-based Learning Modules for University Students

Some lecturers need suitable learning media and strategies in the learning process so that learning is effective. Previously, lecturers only used book media, handouts, and whiteboards as media, and only certain materials used media. It is also known that the obstacles in using media because there are still many lecturers who do not have the expertise to develop and use media and are not even familiar with computer technology, so learning strategies are implemented conventionally. The learning system is centered on lecturers delivering learning materials with lectures and further demonstrations of lecturers giving assignments or exercises to students. This research aims to know whether the development of 3D-based learning modules with direct learning strategies in Pattern Construction courses is worth using for students in the Department of Fashion Education at Universitas Negeri Medan and to find out whether module learning based on 3D with direct learning strategies in the Pattern Construction course is effectively used by the students.

Rancang Bangun Kamus Digital Berbasis Chatbot Menggunakan Pendekatan Pattern Matching

The rapid development of technology today has had an impact on various fields of life, one of which is in the world of education. The application of information technology in the learning process at school or on campus has become commonplace. Smart devices such as smartphones connected to the internet can help the learning process and help encourage the communication process between educational stakeholders. In online learning, the process of communication and interaction between students and teachers switches through instant messaging providers. Taken from the 2019 digital report data issued by We Are Social Hotsuit, it is stated that the most popular instant messaging application in Indonesia is WhatsApp, where 83% of internet users in Indonesia are WhatsApp users, with this data making Indonesia one of the countries with the largest number of users in the world. Based on this, to support the performance of teachers in delivering learning materials, as well as provide faster access in searching for the required terms, this study built a digital chatbot-based dictionary that was embedded in the instant messaging application as the most popular message delivery medium in Indonesia. The process of building a chatbot-based digital dictionary in this study was carried out using the pattern matching method, which is a method included in the study of artificial intelligence that recognizes input from users to be matched with data stored in the database, and the appropriate response will be returned to the user. The subject content that is sampled in making this digital dictionary is physics. The result of this study is the existence of a chatbot-based digital dictionary that can assist students in finding definitions of various terms and formulas related to physics material, given by the teacher which students can access at any time as long as they are connected to the internet.

Menyusun Materi Presentasi Menggunakan Power Point (PPT)

Kindergarten is an early education for an early age, in delivering learning material a special approach is needed, interesting and easy to understand. GOPTKI is the Association of Indonesian Kindergarten Organizing Organizations which always strives to improve the quality of teacher human resources. One of them is providing training on how to deliver learning materials.On this occasion GOPTKI collaborated with the Department of Computer Systems Engineering and Informatics IST AKPRIND Yogyakarta, to provide training in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power Point and Internet Browsing. Here the main emphasis is on Microsoft Power Point training and internet access to create presentation materials. Introduce existing facilities and try to insert pictures of animals, parks on, Microsoft Power Point environment and arrange photo albums.The results of the training of teachers are very enthusiastic in trying to use Microsoft Power Point and can use the existing facilities.
 
 

Effectiveness of Nusa Board Media on Student Learning Outcomes at Dahlanuddin SD Surabaya

The teacher's role in creating fun learning is very influential in the dissemination of the material. If in the process of delivering learning materials the teacher is not optimal and students are less interested in receiving the material, it will affect the process of understanding students in the material presented. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Nusa Board media on the learning outcomes of class I students at SD Dahlanuddin Surabaya. This study uses a quantitative approach with the One Group Pretest-Posttest method. The subjects of this study were the first-grade students of SD Dahlanuddin Surabaya. Data collection techniques using tests in the form of pretest and posttest. The data analysis techniques used were instrument analysis, validity test, reliability test, assumption test using One-Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, and paired T-test hypothesis test. The results of this study indicate that there is a difference in student learning outcomes before and after the implementation of Nusa Board media with an average pretest score of 66.8 and an average posttest score of 86.25. The increase in the average score of students is also evidenced from the results of the statistical test output analysis of the paired T-TEST (2 tailed) test which shows sig (2.tailed) 0.000 < 0.05. It can be concluded that hypothesis 1 is accepted, which means that there is a difference between the learning outcomes on the score pretest and posttest, and it can be concluded that the Nusa Board media is effective in improving the learning outcomes of first grade students at Dahlanuddin Elementary School Surabaya.

Respon Mahasiswa Terhadap Penggunaan Video Pembelajaran Berbasis Canva Design pada Mata Kuliah Fisika Listrik Statis

The aim of the study was to determine the effectiveness of using Canva's learning videos on static electricity. At this stage of research, the learning media has been created by researchers and has been validated by material experts and media experts, with the results being feasible to be used as static electricity learning media. So from these results the researchers will test the effectiveness of users, which are tested on Informatics Engineering students at Indraprasta University. The research method used is the survey method. This survey method uses data collection techniques using questionnaires/questionnaires. The questionnaire method is used to determine a product by testing the validation of the product we have developed. In previous studies, media validation tests have been carried out by material experts and media experts. Furthermore, a feasibility test is carried out which is tested on students. The instrument used is a questionnaire from student responses. And the research sample is the Informatics Engineering student of class R45 as many as 43 students and R46 as many as 42 students, so that the total research sample is 85 students. From the results of the feasibility test of this learning media, students stated that they agreed to use physics learning media using Canva in static electricity physics courses conducted online. This learning media using Canva Design makes it easy for teachers to deliver learning materials in online conditions like today.

Filosofi Pembelajaran Menulis Laporan Pengamatan dengan Metode Proyek pada Siswa SD Kelas 6

Learning to write observation reports in grade 6 SDN Harjasari 2 shows a problem. These problems were found in the assessment of student activities and learning outcomes. This is because when delivering learning materials, teachers use learning methods that do not train students' thinking skills. The corrective action taken is to apply the project method. The project method is a way of teaching by providing learning activities to students, by providing opportunities for students to choose, design and lead their thoughts and work. This research is classroom action research. The initial data explained that 15 students had completed or 54% of the total number of 28 students. The action was carried out in three cycles because the target was only achieved in the third cycle. From the research results obtained, it can be concluded that the project method is able to improve the skills of writing observation reports, and philosophically students have been able to think scientifically with the project method steps.

EFEKTIVITAS MANAJEMEN PENDIDIKAN DI SEKOLAH ALAM CIOMAS

This study purpose to determine the effectiveness of education management in Ciomas Natural School. The research method used is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The process of collecting data in this study through observation, interviews and documentation studies. The results of this study consist of (1) describing managerial activities in the form of all aspects of the scope of education management at the Ciomas Natural School, (2) analyzing the level of effectiveness of education management based on the elements of educational management applied at Ciomas Natural School. Nature school has various benefits for children mentally and creative thinking patterns. Having an atmosphere that is close to nature makes students able to explore the nature around them and make learning more fun. The learning system is supported by the activeness of the teacher in delivering learning materials. Make it easier for students to think critically with the sharing and discussion methods applied at the Ciomas Natural School. Despite all the advantages the school has, the Ciomas Natural School has several drawbacks such as the lack of human resources, library infrastructure that is not yet available, and the lack of parental satisfaction with educational services at the Ciomas Natural School. With these shortcomings, educational management activities are carried out optimally by taking into account all aspects of management elements that run effectively and efficiently.

PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN APLIKASI MOLEK (MONOPOLI EKONOMI) BERSISTEM OPERASI ANDROID

The background of this research is about the importance of mastery of learning media for educators in delivering learning materials. The purpose of the study was to determine the feasibility of monopoly learning media, interest in learning and student responses. This research involves material experts and media experts. This research uses the type of research development or Research and Development (R&D) with the development model used is ADDIE The development model used is ADDIE which consists of 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. MOLEK (Economic Monopoly) learning media is an Android-based mobile learning. To measure interest, use a questionnaire with a score of positive and negative statements, while to measure student responses the Guttman scale is used. Implementation of Economic Monopoly Learning Media Implementation of Economic Monopoly Learning Media in class XI students of SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Surabaya was carried out for 20 students. Based on the research results, the development of MOLEK (Economic Monopoly) Learning Media on Monetary and Fiscal Policy Materials in Senior High Schools is declared valid, practical and significant. Validation by material experts got a score of 84% while validation by media experts got a score of 84%. The analysis of student response data obtained a score of 91.5%, it can be concluded that the application of MOLEK (Economic Monopoly) learning media received a very decent response from students. Student satisfaction measurement in higher education

Since the quality of academic services can affect students’ satisfaction, identification of academic quality attributes is needed. It is divided into several factors using factor analysis and modeling the relationship between academic quality and students’ satisfaction using the multiple regression method. This research used primary data obtained from questionnaires given to undergraduate students of Universitas Indonesia. The results showed six factors affecting students’ satisfaction. However, only two of them, i.e. the lecturers’ abilities to deliver learning materials and the quality of the classroom and building, were significant. The top priority factor was the lecturers’ abilities to deliver learning materials.

THE INTRODUCTION OF HIJAIYAH LETTERS IN SIGN LANGUAGES USING AUGMENTED REALITY TECHNOLOGY

The use of communication through sign language is generally carried out by someone who has a hearing barrier and communicates directly verbally, one of which is deaf and deaf. Deaf people have problems receiving information from the environment which results in less-than-optimal delivery of learning material so that it affects their learning achievement. One of them is the achievement in the field of Islam by recognizing hijaiyah letters. Therefore, we need a media that can optimize other senses, namely the sense of sight, one of which uses Augmented Reality technology. Making hijaiyah letter recognition learning applications using sign language with Augmented Reality technology which is expected to help deaf people in receiving material and teachers / teachers in delivering learning material. In this study, using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle research method, application testing uses the Alpha testing method with Black Box testing and Betta testing on user satisfaction. The test results 96% of respondents stated that the use of augmented reality technology helps in the learning process so that it can be a solution in tackling the problem of less than optimal acceptance of information from the environment so that it affects the learning achievement of people with speech deafness. Based on the test results 86.4% of users of the hijaiyah letter recognition application with the language used to assist in the learning process, especially the Koran lesson using the language of the manager.

E-Learning Readiness Assessment on Distance Learning

The adoption of E-learning systems has been associated with various challenges to the users, particularly the Higher Learning Institutions (HEI). During the Covid19 pandemic, the majority of the HEIs were subjected to lockdowns that resulted in the stimulation of using e-learning to deliver learning materials and perform assessments. This adoption of e-learning technologies has been associated with several challenges that span from the unfamiliarity of the technologies to the implementation or usage challenges. This study employed a qualitative research method which involved conducting interviews with the lecturers, students and ICT experts to gain an understanding of the key issues associated with the use of E-learning systems at Tanzanian HEIs. Among others, this study has identified the key distance learning alternatives, the challenges which are associated with the use of such techniques and the impacts of using e-learning on HEIs.

Learning Media Innovation: Lift the Flap Book Digital in Increasing Interest in Learning Science for Third-Grade Elementary School Students

The The COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia impacts all sectors, including the education sector. This pandemic has changed the use of face-to-face learning systems to online or distance learning. In this distance learning system, teachers are required to deliver learning materials well and pleasantly to students. This study aims to develop lift the flap book digital media to increase student interest in learning during the pandemic. This type of research is developed using the ADDIE method. The population of this study amounted to 24 students. The method used in data collection is observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The instrument used in data collection is a questionnaire sheet. The data analysis technique used to analyze the research data is descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The result of the analysis is that Lift The Flap Book's digital media received very good qualifications from experts to be suitable for use in learning. It was concluded that the media was very suitable for increasing the learning interest of third-grade elementary school students during the pandemic.
