The central focus of our study is the issue of the significance of critical thinking in the system of educational paradigm. The primary goal set by the authors within the framework of the article is the definition of critical thinking of the surrounding reality both at the theoretical and practical levels of knowledge approbation. Essential emphasis in the work is made on the directions of integrative education, didactic approach to understanding the educational system, consideration of species and genus segments of critical thinking, designation of interactive technologies in the dynamics of elements of cognition and consideration of issues in the context of distance learning process. The authors provide a number of doctrinal foundations within the concepts of thinking; binomial system, which includes the concepts of thinking and criticism - critical thinking, as well as the introduction of specific methodologies in the educational hierarchy.
