Between 1980, January 1 and 1981, December 31 a total of 664 ‘decimetric pulsation’ events, abbreviated DCIM, were observed with the Zurich spectrometers in the frequency range 100 to 1000 MHz. All of these events were recorded on film, allowing an effective resolution in time of 0.5 s, and 5 MHz in frequency. Some of these events were also recorded digitally with higher time and frequency resolution.
