The Architecture of an Intelligent Technical Support System for Electricity Spot Market

With the accelerating pace of China's electricity market reform, the construction of the electricity spot market has been put on the agenda. However, as the number and scope of market participants gradually expand, the market-oriented transaction power continues to rise, and the intraprovincial and interprovincial transaction varieties are increasingly abundant. How to design an intelligent and powerful system that can meet the performance requirements of high concurrency and high-frequency transactions in the future market is a major problem in power reform. Based on the research of theoretical research results, this paper builds the front-end interaction platform of the southern spot electricity system based on the regional center to provide a data declaration interface for market users, including market management, market declaration, market release, market evaluation, intelligent analysis, front-end data interface, security protection, and other functional modules, provide declaration information and some market evaluation results to the southern regional spot power system platform, and obtain clearance results and published information from this platform.

ANALYSIS OF 5.8GHZ HELICAL ANTENNA FOR THE APPLICATION OF UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE

An Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) is an aircraft with practically no human pilot. The real life utilizations of UAV are payload conveyance, trafc checking, moving items in apparently perilous climate and with the end goal of observation in armed force, naval force and ying corps. The parts utilized in UAV's are Radome, Antenna, Antenna handset regulator, Modulation and recurrence transformation unit, Data interface unit, Power control module, Lithium battery and Solar power band. The antenna are the main electronic parts of UAV. The antenna utilized in UAV are Patch antenna, Spiral antenna, SATCOM antenna, MFC antenna, Array antenna, Blade antenna and L-C Sector antenna and Helical antenna. Helical antenna is planned in the recurrence of 10GHz and its exhibition attributes are examined for the compelling correspondence in UAV.

Real-time network inspection applications face a threat of vulnerability as high-speed networks continue to expand. For companies and ISPs, real-time traffic classification is an issue. The classifier monitor is made up of three modules: Capturing_of_Packets (CoP) and pre-processing, Reconciliation_of_Flow (RoF), and categorization of Machine Learning (ML). Based on parallel processing along with well-defined interfacing of data, the modules are framed, allowing each module to be modified and upgraded separately. The Reconciliation_of_Flow (RoF) mechanism becomes the output bottleneck in this pipeline. In this implementation, an optimal reconciliation process was used, resulting in an average delivery time of 0.62 seconds. In order to verify our method, we equated the results of the AdaBoost Ensemble Learning Algorithm (ABELA), Naive Bayes (NB), Decision Tree (DT), K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN), and Flexible Naive Bayes (FNB) in the classification module. The architectural design of the run time CSNTA categorization (flow-based) scheme is presented in this paper.

End-to-End Structural analysis in civil engineering based on deep learning

This paper presents DeepSNA (Deep Structural Nonlinear Analysis), the first general end-to-end computational framework in civil engineering that can predict the full range of mechanical responses of different structures based on deep learning. The proposed framework comprehensively considers intrinsic structural information and external excitations from both the data and the model. First, a data interface schema was carefully designed to eliminate manual interventions. Based on the distinctive characteristics of structural analysis, we proposed deep learning models for static and dynamic features that could identify underlying mechanical coupling relationships and historical dependencies. Moreover, we designed data augmentation algorithms to address the lack of data in real-world applications. Finally, we developed the DeepSNA framework and validated it with steel plate shear wall structures. The results indicated that the new framework was more accurate and had at least 1000 times greater computational efficiency than conventional numerical methods.

FPGA Correlator for Applications in Embedded Smart Devices.

Correlation has a variety of applications that require signal processing. However, it is computationally intensive, and software correlators require high-performance processors for real-time data analysis. This is a challenge for embedded devices because of the limitation of computing resources. Hardware correlators that use Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) technology can significantly boost computational power and bridge the gap between the need for high-performance computing and the limited processing power available in embedded devices. This paper presents a detailed FPGA-based correlator design at the register level along with the open-source Very High-Speed Integrated Circuit Hardware Description Language (VHDL) code. It includes base modules for linear and multi-tau correlators of varying sizes. Every module implements a simple and unified data interface for easy integration with standard and publicly available FPGA modules. Eighty-lag linear and multi-tau correlators were built for validation of the design. Three input data sets—constant signal, pulse signal, and sine signal—were used to test the accuracy of the correlators. The results from the FPGA correlators were compared against the outputs of equivalent software correlators and validated with the corresponding theoretical values. The FPGA correlators returned results identical to those from the software references for all tested data sets and were proven to be equivalent to their software counterparts. Their computation speed is at least 85,000 times faster than the software correlators running on a Xilinx MicroBlaze processor. The FPGA correlator can be easily implemented, especially on System on a Chip (SoC) integrated circuits that have processor cores and FPGA fabric. It is the ideal component for device-on-chip solutions in biosensing.

This paper constructs the information coupling system model of sports tourism industry and cultural industry under the background of artificial intelligence era and obtains the corresponding data results by using the invisible statistical logic computer independent judgment (IDIJA) method of artificial intelligence system under the condition of incomplete data. The application of the coordinated development system of coupling industry can realize the rapid development of sports tourism and cultural reconstruction mode and achieve the new effect of intelligent sports tourism cultural comprehensive experience. It can not only improve the people’s quality of life but also provide feasible suggestions for improving the continuous development of the coupling and coordination of sports tourism and cultural industry.

Virtual Simulation Resource Control Platform for Electric Power Training

Abstract Since virtual simulation needs multiple kinds of data as support, the construction of smooth simulation environment requires higher efficiency in data resource management and control. Based on this, a virtual simulation resource management and control platform for electric power training is proposed. On the basis of analyzing the architecture characteristics of virtual simulation engine, the platform structure of operation process simulation and optimization is designed based on three-layer BS mode. The virtual simulation platform is used as the exchange center to establish the data interface. It builds virtual simulation scenarios through mapping, and implements virtual protection tests through GOOSE messages for data management and protection. The control purpose is realized according to the operation process of the equipment and the inherent protection logic. In this paper, a communication module is designed to ensure smooth data transmission between modules. The test results show that the corresponding time of data resource request is mainly concentrated within 20ms, with good efficiency.

The Adam Mickiewicz University Nature Collections IT system (AMUNATCOLL): portal, mobile application and graphical interface

Abstract The paper describes the interfaces implemented in the AMUNATCOLL IT system, which enable access to and explorationand manipulation of data available in the database containing unique natural collections from the Faculty of Biology of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (FBAMU). Data can be accessed using the two available interfaces: graphical and programming application interfaces. The first is implemented in two forms: a portal, which is the main interface for accessingthe data stored in the database, and a mobile application that complements functions related to field research and creating private collections. To deliver the required set of operations, the portal was equipped with simplified and advanced searching, statistical analysis and spatial processing (BioGIS). Data openness and the ability to collaborate with other solutions and systems are key elements in achieving synergies in conducting research on biodiversity. AMUNATCOLL IT offers an opportunity to respond to these challenges, enabling data export for independent processing with external tools related to portal functionality or giving access to data directly using an application programming interface. Graphical interfaces are subject to numerous requirements and restrictions reflected in the graphic design and accessibility issues related to the accommodation of disabled individuals. These interfaces must properly address both groups of target recipients, considering their different goals and level of knowledge, as well as adjusting the level of interaction due to the limitations of using the interface.

Design and testing of a digital twin for monitoring and quality assessment of material extrusion process

In this paper are illustrated conception, realization and validation of an original solution for the digital twin of a material extrusion 3D printer, the most popular additive manufacturing machine. The system is composed by three main modules: a core containing the simulation engine, a data interface managing incoming data and a graphical interface enabling user remote control. It receives as input the process data collected by several sensors and the same part program (G-Code file) used by the real machine; thus, the system provides various real time functions for process monitoring, condition monitoring and geometrical accuracy control. Alongside detecting load on critical components and checking wear and tear, it can also systematically sort data collected or calculated during operation to help in optimizing printing parameters. Through interaction with the print host software, the twin is able to intervene directly in the current process to pause printing in case of anomalies and to assist users along a recovery procedure. An index of quality of the printed piece is obtained by comparing the CAD model of the printed part and a 3D model of the deposited material powered by the data coming from the machine. The system has been tested on a custom-made Cartesian printer: a number of prints were made with different speeds and accelerations to assess the impact of these settings on the average quality, and a more in-depth study was carried out on the digital models of the prints to investigate the origin of the defects detected. The programs and devices used do not rely on commercial solutions, so that the system is easily replicable.

Performance Investigation of Fiber Distributed Data Interface in Networking

Abstract: The extent of the ring, the number of stations on the ring, the number of stations waiting to communicate, and the frame size are all setup and workload characteristics that affect the performance of an FDDI LAN. In addition, the target token rotation time is a significant parameter that network management may regulate to optimise performance (TTRT). The influence of the TTRT on various performance indicators for different ring topologies was investigated using analytical modelling and simulation approaches. The performance of the FDDI network is the topic of this research. The functionality of the FDDI network was then assessed in terms of efficiency, reaction time, and network cost using various values of ring latency, fixed target token rotation time (TTRT), and number of stations. A Novel Early Warning System (EWS) for Water Quality, Integrating a High-Frequency Monitoring Database with Efficient Data Quality Control Technology at a Large and Deep Lake (Lake Qiandao), China

To assess water quality (WQ) online for assuring the safety of drinking water, a novel early warning system integrating a high-frequency monitoring system (HFMS) and data quality control (QC) was developed at Lake Qiandao. The HFMS was designed for monitoring water quality, nutrient inputs by main tributaries, water currents and meteorology at different sites at Lake Qiandao. The EWS focused on data availability, a QC method, a statistical analysis method and data applications instead of technological aspects for sondes, wireless data transfer and interface software development. QC was implemented before use to delete the abnormal values of outliers, to detect change points, to analyse the change trend, to interpolate discrete missing measurements, and find continuous missing or wrong observations caused by technical problems with the sonde. For demonstrating advantages and data availability, surface and profiling measurements at two sites were plotted. The plots show obvious seasonal and diel variations, demonstrating the success of integration of the system with advanced automated technology and good QC. This successfully developed system is now not only giving early warning signals, but also providing critical WQ information for the security of drinking water diverted to Hangzhou city through a tunnel of 110 km length. The automatic monitoring data with QC is also being used to produce initial conditions for WQ prediction based on a three dimensional hydrodynamic-ecosystem model.

Pose tracking method using magnetic excitations with frequency division for robotic endoscopic capsules.

The poses of robotic endoscopic capsules are indispensable for further follow-up examinations, potential targeted drug delivery, and closed-loop controlling of active locomotion. A novel tracking method using the multiple magnetic excitations with frequency division has been investigated. The multiple excitation coils can simultaneously work at different frequency to improve real-time tracking. A novel model between the magnetic flux density and the capsule's pose has been derived, which shows a nonlinear equation group with multiple local extremum. Then, a Back-Propagation (BP) neural network algorithm combined with the mother wavelet is investigated to solve the pose. To reduce the volume and power consumption, the wireless magnetic sensing module uses digital signal processing as the core framework, which is beneficial to be miniaturized to integrate with the capsule. The functional prototype of the tracking system has been developed, which consists of a wireless magnetic sensing module mounted in the capsule, a magnetic excitation module with frequency division, a wireless receiver and data interface, an excitation coil array and a platform for pose solving. The experimental results show that the mean errors are 0.0098m in x-component, 0.0122m in y-component, 0.0077m in z-component, 0.187rad in α-component and 0.161rad in β-component, respectively. The real-time performance of the tracking system is improved.

Analytics for Smart Keys application and User interface of streaming data

Big data has been a challenge for organizations and technology professionals because conventional software applications have struggled in the maintenance and analysis of big data. These software applications did not consider the immense growth of user generated data and struggled to keep up with the pace of the technology. It necessitated developing new applications that focused on the principles of artificial intelligence and data mining such that a heuristic search could provide meaningful results for big data. Smart keys applications and user interface of data streaming are two examples where it is crucial to manage big data for gaining competitive advantage in the contemporary context. This study analyses different aspects of big data in the context of analytics for smart keys application and user interface of streaming data. The study is based on the collection and analysis of secondary data. Data was collected from peer-reviewed journal articles, books, technology magazines, and other authenticated sources. The findings of the study indicated significant benefits of using big data analytics in smart keys applications and user streaming for big data. These applications are the best candidates for applying the concepts of big data analytics and organizations can gain a competitive advantage from the implementation.

NDI: A Platform-Independent Data Interface and Database for Neuroscience Physiology and Imaging Experiments.

Collaboration in neuroscience is impeded by the difficulty of sharing primary data, results, and software across labs. Here, we introduce Neuroscience Data Interface (NDI), a platform-independent standard that allows an analyst to use and create software that functions independently from the format of the raw data or the manner in which the data are organized into files. The interface is rooted in a simple vocabulary that describes common apparatus and storage devices used in neuroscience experiments. Results of analyses, and analyses of analyses, are stored as documents in a scalable, queryable database that stores the relationships and history among the experiment elements and documents. The interface allows the development of an application ecosystem where applications can focus on calculation rather than data format or organization. This tool can be used by individual labs to exchange and analyze data, and it can serve to curate neuroscience data for searchable archives.

In the article, using the example of a mechatronic control system for the engine and transmission of vehicles (automobiles), the features of the technology of their diagnosis are shown. In an electronic transmission control system, the object of regulation is mainly an automatic transmission. Also, the laws of control (programs) of gear shifting in an automatic transmission ensure the optimal transfer of engine energy to the wheels of the vehicle (TC), taking into account the required traction and speed properties and fuel economy. At the same time, the programs for achieving optimal traction-speed properties and minimum fuel consumption differ from each other, since the simultaneous achievement of these goals is not always possible. Therefore, depending on the driving conditions and the desire of the driver, using a special switch, you can select the "economy" program to reduce fuel consumption, the "power" program - to improve traction and speed properties, or the "manual" program to switch gears by the driver. In turn, self-diagnostic capabilities include: system identification and electronic control units (ECU) (ECU); recognition, storage and reading of information about static and single malfunctions; reading current real data, including environmental conditions and specifications; modeling of system functions; programming of system parameters. The individual programs for the test block are stored in the plug-in modules, while the correction and data transfer in the system is carried out via the data interface. Note also that the diagnostic process begins with the initialization of the systems - their detection in the electrical equipment of the vehicle. Upon successful initialization, it is possible to: read the error memory; erase the error memory; view the data of the next detected system or exit to the main menu; change the readings of the selected category; correct the current time; correct the current date and perform a number of additional functions.

MARFit: An Integrated Software for Real-Time MR Guided Focused Ultrasound Neuromodulation System

MR guided focused ultrasound (MRgFUS) therapy has been a promising treatment modality for many neurological disorders. However, the lack of real-time image processing software platform sets barriers for relevant pre-clinical researches. This work intends to develop an integrated software for MRgFUS therapy. The software contains three functional modules: a communication module, an image post-processing module, and a visualization module. The communication module provides a data interface with an open-source MR image reconstruction platform (Gadgetron) to receive the reconstructed MR images in real-time. The post-processing module contains the algorithms of image coordinate registration, focus localization by MR acoustic radiation force imaging (MR-ARFI), temperature and thermal dose calculations, motion correction, and temperature feedback control. The visualization module displays monitoring information and provides a user-machine interface. The software was tested to be compatible with systems from two different vendors and validated in multiple scenarios for MRgFUS. The software was tested in many ex vivo and in vivo experiments to validate its functions. The in vivo transcranial focus localization experiments were carried out for targeting the focused ultrasound in neuromodulation.

A set of web-based public decision support tools for integrated planning and management in aquaculture

We developed a set of web-based tools to meet the demand for spatial planning and help to determine the available space suitable for marine aquaculture activity. These tools were derived from AkvaVis concept, which was initially designed for the management of Norwegian aquaculture. The AkvaVis concept was adapted to different national aquaculture contexts and two other tools were developed in France and China. Besides using GIS maps and thematic layers, interactive functions were added to enable the user to select spatial parameters, build indicators for aquaculture siting and instantly display the requested information. For each tool, we describe the main technical features, input data, data geoprocessing, output products, tool strengths and limits, and applicability to other case studies.The three tools we present share common concepts and features:•use of standardized protocols for data (Web Feature Services, Web Map Services)•reusability of the modules developed for applications to other case studies•web-based interface for spatial data viewing and processingThey also show some differences, e.g., the Chinese tool exists as a desktop or a web-based support system. Differences and demonstrations for different aquaculture contexts in Europe and China offer some flexibility in future applications.

Design and Implementation of an Integrated Management System for Backfill Experimental Data

With the increase in environmental awareness worldwide, the filling mining method has attracted extensive attention because this method can realize safe and green mining in underground metal mines. Recycling waste tailings in stopes to control underground rock movement, and surface settlement can reduce waste environmental pollution while ensuring mining safety. Although many test data are required to support the formulation of the mine backfill scheme, the advanced management tool of backfill test data is insufficient. In this study, a new data management method that is suitable for backfill experiments is proposed. First, this study analyses the main system requirements, including experimental business process modeling, experimental process combing, and a multidimensional query of experimental data. Then, the backfill test business flow and data flow are summarized to establish the backfill test business model and experimental index system. Then, many system functions are designed, including backfill experiment management, experimental data query, backfill knowledge maintenance, and system management. Finally, a backfill test data management system is developed based on B/S architecture. Developing a data interface, having a built‐in test formula and customizing a multidimensional data analysis enable the system to solve the problems in data collection, data accounting, and data analysis. After being put into use in the Backfilling Engineering Laboratory of a group in Shandong, this system improved the data‐sharing rate and utilization rate and provided a convenient data management tool for the laboratory.
