An Analysis of the Translation and Communication of Yao Ethnic Medicine in China Based on Lasswell’s 5W Model

Rooted in the Yao ethnic regions of China, Yao ethnic medicine is rich in content and forms an essential part of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) culture, possessing significant research and exploration value. To date, research surrounding translation of Yao ethnic medicine has grown over the past decade. There has been little comprehensive research on the current state of Yao ethnic medicine translation, which hinders the inheritance and international communication of Yao ethnic medicine. Based on Lasswell’s 5W model and Xie’s medio-translatology, this paper provides a comprehensive analysis of factors such as the subject, content, method, target audience, and impact of Yao ethnic medicine translation. Considering the foreseeable objective prospects of Yao ethnic medicine, it proposes recommendations for translation research to promote Yao ethnic medicine globally.

Consumer preference study for the interface design of traditional Chinese medicine applications using conjoint analysis method

The widespread use of mobile applications (apps) offers a new platform for sustaining traditional culture, yet insufficient focus on interface design has hindered user experience. This paper focuses on traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) apps, examining user preferences for interface design elements and their combinations across four dimensions: visual effects, functional attributes, layout, and interaction modes. Utilizing Conjoint Analysis Method (CAM), this study quantitatively explores user preferences for the combination schemes of 18 orthogonal designs. The study collected 464 users’ data through questionnaires and processed the data using CAM and Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA). The findings indicate that users have a high demand for theme colors (35.09%), text styles (27.32%), and icon styles (14.78%) in medical consultation apps. For health education apps, users exhibit preferences for text styles (24.95%), theme colors (24.58%), and functional architecture (16.30%). In professional learning apps, the preferred elements are theme colors (24.07%), text styles (18.54%), and icon styles (18.03%). Based on these results, the paper proposes corresponding design strategies for each type of TCM app. This study reveals the characteristics of user preferences for different categories of TCM apps, enriching the theories and methods of interaction design for similar mobile applications. Ultimately, this facilitates the integration of traditional Chinese medicine culture with modern digital technology, promoting the digital and sustainable transmission of traditional culture.

Subsequently, the paper analyzes the traditional foundation and innovative pathways of Zhaoqing's bird-and-flower paintings, with particular attention to how Chinese herbal medicines inject new cultural elements and artistic vitality into bird-and-flower paintings. Through detailed interpretation of masterpieces throughout history, the paper reveals the unique charm and profound implications of Zhaoqing's medicinal materials in artistic expression. Finally, the paper emphasizes the significant role of Zhaoqing's Chinese herbal medicine bird-and-flower painting creation in educational popularization, cultural inheritance, social influence, and cultural confidence building. This paper argues that Zhaoqing's Chinese herbal medicine bird-and-flower painting creation represents not only a paradigm of artistic innovation but also a crucial medium for inheriting and promoting traditional Chinese medicine culture. On the Application of Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture in Ideological and Political Education

Purpose: By analyzing the historical origin and value of Traditional Chinese medicine culture, the article studies the application of Traditional Chinese medicine culture in postgraduate students' ideological and political education, with a view to promoting the deeper inheritance and development of Traditional Chinese medicine culture. Methods: The article explains the importance and feasibility of Traditional Chinese medicine culture in postgraduate students' ideological and political education, and the difficulties in the application of ideological and political education, on the basis of which it proposes to improve the civic system of the course, improve the quality of professional teachers of Traditional Chinese medicine culture and civic teachers, and establish a collaborative educating mechanism with the help of the resource-sharing platform, so as to deepen the postgraduates' understanding of Traditional Chinese medicine culture in the ideological and political education course. Conclusion: Graduate students' ideological and political education courses provide a good platform for the dissemination and development of Traditional Chinese medicine culture, and the two are complementary to each other. By establishing classroom evaluation and incentive mechanisms, the substantive integration of both sides can be better promoted.

Evidence-based research of the indicator system for evaluating the application effect of TCM standards

The traditional Chinese medicine evaluation indicator system can effectively identify and recognize deficiencies in the implementation of standards and provide a rationale for improving the technical content, enhancing the effectiveness of implementation and promoting the dissemination of traditional Chinese medicine culture and technology globally. Evidence-based principles can be an important method to guide the development of traditional Chinese medicine indicators and to promote the application of standards. This paper introduces the development status of NICE indicators and provides reference ideas for constructing evaluation indicator for traditional Chinese medicine standards application based on evidence-based principles. The specific steps for constructing an evaluation indicator system for traditional Chinese medicine standard application include identifying indicator domains, evidence synthesis, developing indicators, constructing an indicator system, cost- effectiveness and resource impact analyses, and finalizing indicators for training and promotion. In order to promote the further development of traditional Chinese medicine, it is necessary to strengthen the integrated construction of “guidelines-standards-indicators”, accelerate the establishment of a coordination mechanism between domestic and international organizations, and pay attention to the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine and focusing on implications for practice and policy.

This article delves into strategies to enhance the cultural literacy of traditional Chinese medicine among teachers from the perspectives of educational science and cultural dissemination. This study analyzes the current situation and teaching impact of traditional Chinese medicine cultural literacy among teachers and proposes strategies such as strengthening basic education, integrating it into training systems, conducting practical activities, and building resource-sharing platforms. These measures aim to enrich teacher knowledge, improve teaching levels, and effectively inherit and promote traditional Chinese medicine culture. At the same time, this article provides specific suggestions for the effective implementation of strategies and references for improving the cultural literacy of teachers in traditional Chinese medicine.

Summary of Outpatient Visits for Characteristic Nursing in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

The aim of this study was to investigate the practical outcomes of traditional Chinese medicine specialty nursing clinics in the clinical setting. Outpatient services have become increasingly popular for seeking medical care. Establishing traditional Chinese medicine specialty nursing clinics can meet the medical needs of the general public, and provide patients with convenient and efficient medical services. This study employed a retrospective cross-sectional observational design to analyze the medical service status of all patients who attended the clinic since its opening. Five qualified traditional Chinese medicine nursing experts identified and implemented 5 categories of traditional Chinese medicine characteristic nursing techniques, including cupping, moxibustion, needle acupuncture, and massage. Nurses and patients evaluated the treatment outcomes for various diseases. Since the establishment of the nursing outpatient department 2 years ago, there have been over 7046 visits, with a satisfaction rate of 97.1%. Currently, 5 nursing experts are nurturing a total of 11 graduate students, conducting 5 free clinics in the nursing outpatient department, and organizing 3 visits by overseas experts. The traditional Chinese medicine specialty nursing outpatient service effectively meets the diverse medical needs of patients, alleviates the outpatient pressure on hospitals, enhances the specialized development of nurses, increases the prominence of traditional Chinese medicine specialty nursing techniques, and promotes traditional Chinese medicine culture.
