DESAIN SET CATUR UNTUK ANAK-ANAK DENGAN MOTIF BATIK KALIMANTAN TIMUR

ABSTRACT
 The design and development of chess set products into a part of the development of design in the business world, especially children's games. But the current chess sets are less varied. Generally chess set that there is only a royal and has a black and white color without any introduction of Indonesian culture, especially batik East Kalimantan. The current chess set also rarely has good storage so chess storage is not neatly arranged when the game is over. With this in mind, a designer tries to create a better item with new innovations. Like designing a chess set that is easily understood by children, designing a chess set that can introduce East Kalimantan batik culture especially Dayak Kenyah batik, and designing chess sets that have aesthetic value. In this report with the title "Set chess for children with batik motif east kalimantan" gives a new alternative in the development of furniture design especially chess sets. With the design methods that have been done include: data collection analysis, design alterrnatif, design development of selected alternatives, and final design. So produced chess set design for children who have a modern minimalist design style.

The Mediation of Work Motivation on the Effects of Work Discipline and Compensation on Performance Batik MSMEs Employees in Yogyakarta City, Indonesia

Good employee performance in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 as it is now is needed so that SMEs can still compete with competitors. MSMEs Batik is a characteristic of culture and culture found in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. So that in managing Batik culture requires good employee performance. The purpose of this study is to determine the mediation of work motivation on the effect of work discipline and compensation on employee performance. The research methodology is ex-post-facto research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study was 98 employees, the sampling technique using total sampling techniques. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis and path analysis. The results showed that: 1). Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, 2). Compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, 3). Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, 4). Work motivation mediates the relationship of work discipline to employee performance, 5). Work motivation mediates the relationship of compensation to employee performance, 6). Work discipline and compensation have a positive and significant influence on employee performance, 7). Work motivation mediates the relationship of work discipline and compensation for employee performance.

IMPLEMENTASI DESAIN READY TO WEAR ANAK PEREMPUAN DENGAN TEKNIK BATIK TULIS

“IMPLEMENTATION DESIGN READY TO WEAR FOR DAUGHTER USING BATIK TECHNIQUE ” This design in order to cultivate batik culture in children from an early age on the ready-to-wear design collection for girls with innovation on animal pattern using batik for Kiddotik brand. The target market of Kiddotik is woman aged 25-35 years old who have girls aged 2-6 years old. It will be designed a collection with the final product that is applied technique of batik with animal pattern based on the result of through research interview expert and potential customer, observation, literature study.

Maintaining Local Wisdom of Batik Culture to Improve Competitiveness in International Business: Case Study on Batik Jokotole Collection in Bangkalan City, East Java, Indonesia

Batik as a national cultural diversity that exists in Indonesia and is a craft that has high artistic value and local wisdom that has been a part of Indonesian (especially Javanese) culture for a long time. Indonesia is an area that has a very rapid growth and development of batik, especially those that occur on the island of Java, precisely on Madura. Batik The Jokotole collection has many opportunities to develop batik exports throughout the world. Jokotole batik export potential in Bangkalan is one of the cities exporting to several countries including Japan, Africa and Malaysia. With all types of batik motifs that are very exclusive and the potential of batik in the World is still high. Jokotole collection does not only sell batik cloth, but also sells knowledge products, where each coloring and motif of batik cloth has its own meaning. The purpose of this study is to analyze the competitiveness of the competitive advantage of Indonesian batik products, especially the Jokotole Collection on the international market. This also helps the production of batik sales to be increasingly recognized by various countries and helps the economic distribution of Bangkalan Madura batik, East Java, Indonesia.

LOCALITY IN CONSTRUCTING CULTURAL IDENTITY (A REVIEW ON SEMARANG BATIK ART)

In the context of identity, batik is a form of expression of art with unique features that become the identity or may potentially become a cultural identity for either local or national identity. As the capital of Central Java, Semarang has built an identity through batik that depicts Semarang as having a batik culture. The construction of identity in Semarang batik began from searching for local identities by related actors, either personal or communities or organizations, who collectively explore ideas from locality. Locality includes natural, physical, and social-cultural environments. Through creativity in batik art, those ideas are conveyed in innovation and production of distinctive batik that is Semarang-style batik. This distinction represents Semarang locality that forms Semarang identity. The identity that is created as a product of that culture is continuously developed and preserved through enculturation by education in families, schools, and the society.

SENTRA BATIK SEBAGAI DESTINASI WISATA DENGAN PENDEKATAN KEARIFAN LOKAL DI SURAKARTA

Not only provide container, but gave the tourist attractions in batik. So, traveled as well as learn about batik. Containers to be built covers several activities related to batik. Batik is not only in terms of clothing, batik can be applied to the world of architecture such as the application forms of the motif into the building. Implementation into the building that is the basic form, the skin and the elements in buildings. The issue is how to design a form Sentra Batik design by applying the concept of Local Wisdom, which raises the shape of the building with a mix of local culture and foreign culture. The method used is the method of architectural design. PARIWISATA KREATIF BERBASIS INDUSTRI BATIK SEBAGAI UPAYA PENGEMBANGAN EKONOMI LOKAL KOTA PEKALONGAN

Batik is an essential commodity in Indonesian creative industries and has been the major commodity of Pekalongan. Batik industry is also capable of creating an inter-business association like the <em>canting</em> making business and fabric dyes business. As a city of batik, Pekalongan is prepared as a tourist destination through the availability of Batik Museum and two centers of batik craftsmen. The attraction has been increasing because tourists do not only see the process but can practice on how to make batik along with the batik craftsmen and interact with the related tools and materials, and this is known as creative tourism. The impact of the creative tourism can become one of the efforts to the local economic development of Pekalongan because it has been able to make linkages between sectors in tourism and batik industry.</p></div>

Identification of Values of Ornaments in Indonesian Batik in Visual Content of Nitiki Game

Batik is a form of visual art on textile materials produced using traditional drawing techniques originating from Indonesia. For the Javanese, batik is a traditional cloth integral to their cultural identity. Visuals on ornaments of batik cloths illustrate the life sayings and values upon which the life of the community is laid. The study focuses on identifying the values found in Indonesian batik ornaments which are adapted as visual content on the Nitiki game. The findings are then used to reconstruct the values that represent the real batik culture. This study employs the qualitative descriptive method by collecting dozens of batik ornaments on the Nitiki game, exploring the values mentioned in literature, sorting out the dominant values, and reconstructing them. The findings suggest that the values found in Indonesian batik ornaments in the Nitiki game clearly show the patterns of how traditional culture of batik survives and thrives in Indonesian society, as well as show the flexibility of batik against the current development of modern culture, including its integration as culture-based content in interactive media. This study contributes to the dissertation research on aesthetical interaction in cultural content-based game.

Media Informasi sebagai Pengenalan Batik Magelang

Batik is an Indonesian cultural heritage that has a variety of unique and different motifs in each region. Batik Magelang is still a relatively new batik culture compared to other areas so that if put in the category of groups of motifs lifted inland because of cultural elements and the natural conditions in the city. Because there is no history or ancestors batik make batik Magelang less enjoyable and less popular than the classic motif. The lack of information and marketing into the causes of the lack of knowledge about batik Magelang.The method used for data collection is library research, observation for some communities batik and batik artisans in Magelang, and interviews of business owners and makers of batik motifs in Magelang City.This design concept is to create a medium of information to provide knowledge and information about batik motifs Magelang. In this design, the author makes the information book because the book easy to carry around, and can accommodate a lot of information. It is expected that from this design can introduce a variety of batik motif Magelang Magelang that can be appreciated and preserved by the community.

论丹寨苗族鸟图腾艺术的魅力

自称为“嘎闹”的丹寨苗族被誉为中国最后的鸟图腾部落，原系中国鸟图腾文化一个支脉。漫长的历史岁月，鸟图腾作为一种原始的宗教信仰已深深积淀在了丹寨苗人的生活之中。其中的蜡染文化、锦鸡文化、鸟笼文化鲜明地体现了丹寨神奇的鸟图腾艺术特点，并持久地影响着丹寨苗人的文化性格。在现代文化的包围中，丹寨苗族鸟图腾文化越来越显示出其独特的魅力。 Hmong claiming to be “Ganao” in Danzhai is known as the last bird totem Tribe in China, which is a branch of formerly Chinese bird totem culture. As a primitive belief, the bird totem has been deeply rooted in the life of Hmong in Danzhai after a long history. Therein, the batik culture, caragana culture and cage culture vividly embody the magical art characteristics of bird totem culture, and have a long-lasting effect on the cultural character of Hmong here. Within the enclosure of modern culture, the bird totem culture of Hmong has increasingly demonstrated its unique charm in Danzhai.

Developing Early Children’s Creativity Through “Batik” Painting Activities in Pembina State Kindergarten of Pekalongan

Batik is one of the activities associated with patience, precision, and patience to obtain a maximum result, in addition to the quality batik influenced by the parts of the creativity. One way to preserve the culture of batik and develop the creativity of children through learning activities can be done in batik activities that have been adapted to the child’s development. Formulation of the problem in this study is whether the activities of batik can develop creativity early childhood. The approach in this study experimental pretest and posttest control group design. The population in this study is a kindergartener State coach Pekalongan aged 5-6 years, as many as 30 children Kindergarten State Trustees Western District of Pekalongan as the experimental group of 30 children and kindergarten Pembina State of North Pekalongan as the control group. T-test analysis of the calculation of posttest between the experimental and control groups generate 14,089 tcount > table of 2,045. Sig (2-tailed) <0.05 ie 0.00<0.05. It shows that Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. The average or mean value of 21 433 posttests. Based on these calculations, it can be concluded that the activities of batik can develop the creativity of children in the experimental group pretest and posttest, as well as batik activities can not develop creativity early childhood on the pretest and posttest in the control group.
