Online Management System for Universities Based on A Website

Digital Education for Health Care Providers: An Advanced Cardiac Life Support Resource

Advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) refers to a set of urgent treatment guidelines for cardiac emergencies to improve patient outcomes. Strong evidence supports online interactive content in facilitating student learning and engagement. This project introduces an innovative approach to ACLS education, namely a digital ACLS simulation to promote medical resident learning of relevant protocols. No similar resource was found in existing literature, supporting the potential merit of creating this tool for medical education. A scoping review was conducted on current ACLS guidelines to inform interactive content creation with MEDLINE [PubMED] and Web of Science. From this review, a decision tree based on validated care guidelines was derived, guiding digital application development. An online prototype was constructed in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS frameworks. The creation allows users to input cardiovascular emergency patient information and output relevant care instructions based on American Heart Association guidelines. Evidence-based descriptions were provided for each decision, referencing credible external resources for further learning. This interactive application may enhance ACLS protocol learning. Next steps include simulation testing with medical residents to establish whether statistically significant benefits are observed. Long term, this project may inform the development and revision of similar digital resources to enhance medical education delivery.

Comparison of Utility-First CSS Framework

Utility-first CSS frameworks have revolutionized web development by offering predefined utility classes that streamline the design process and reduce the need for custom CSS. However, selecting the right framework can be challenging due to the variety of available options. This paper addresses the problem of choosing between two of the leading utility-first CSS frameworks Tailwind CSS and Tachyons by providing a comparative analysis based on key factors such as size, load speed, flexibility, ease of use, and community support. The objective of this research is to identify the strengths and weaknesses of both frameworks, helping developers make informed decisions based on project needs. Our methodology involved testing load speeds using Locust for performance analysis, reviewing community support through GitHub repositories and forums, and assessing the flexibility and ease of use through practical development tasks. The results revealed that while both frameworks are robust, Tachyons excels in performance and simplicity due to its smaller size, whereas Tailwind CSS offers greater customization and flexibility, making it more suitable for complex projects. The novelty of this research lies in its direct comparison of utility-first frameworks, highlighting how developer preferences and project requirements play a crucial role in framework selection. In summary, this study provides valuable insights for developers looking to optimize web development workflows by selecting the most appropriate CSS framework based on specific project goals.

Comparative analysis of Bootstrap and Foundation CSS frameworks

Django collects all the user data and stores it in Django administration. This research has proposed a platform where the user can share their images, videos, and thoughts. This is the platform where the user can follow other users whom they know and even they can view the other's creativity which they have posted on social media. Our model analyzes and stores real-time data. Social media websites have been implemented by several programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and Django framework was used to design the web pages.

Implementing QR code and Geolocation Technologies for the Student Attendance System

Attendance is one of the important factors in supporting lecture activities that can be used to see how well the performance of student attendance in class. Traditional attendance systems used in various educational institutions often cause problems. This research aims to develop an innovative and efficient student attendance system to help the process of taking attendance by utilizing QR-Code and geo-location technologies at Klabat University. The research method employed for this development is the Prototyping Model, which involves iterative development and refinement processes. The system is designed as a web-based application and a mobile application, developed using PHP as the programming language, MySQL as the database management system, Bootstrap 5 as the CSS and JavaScript framework for creating responsive websites, Apache as the web server and Ubuntu 22.04 as the operating system for the server. QR-Code technology is proposed as a medium for recording and verifying student attendance, while Geo-Location technology is used to verify the presence of students in the right lecture venue. The results of this research are expected to make a positive contribution to Klabat University in terms of recording student attendance.

Disaster Preparedness amongst Schools Teachers: A Holistic Approach towards Development of a Research Tool

The Comprehensive School Safety Framework (CSSF) is a complete strategy for creating safe learning environments for administrators, teachers, students, and school staff. The CSS framework has three pillars: safe learning facilities, school disaster management, and risk reduction and resilience education. This study was conducted to develop a research tool to assess disaster preparedness among school teachers using the Comprehensive School Safety Framework (CSSF). A questionnaire was developed by the researcher, which had 27 items. There were 320 school teachers selected from 64 schools. On the basis of factor analysis, there were seven factors found for the disaster preparedness of school teachers: online learning and emergency preparedness, local risk awareness, physical safety and infrastructure, organization disaster management, online teaching readiness, active learning and disaster training, general awareness, and immediate response. The tool developed by the research was named disaster preparedness and risk reduction (DPRR). This tool is validated and reliable on the basis of factor analysis for the assessment of disaster preparedness amongst school teachers.

Assessment of School Teacher's Disaster Preparedness by Using Comprehensive School Safety Framework

The Comprehensive School Safety Framework (CSSF) is a comprehensive strategy for a safe learning environment for teachers, students and school staff. This study assessed the disaster preparedness level of secondary school teachers in the public school district Attock. Three hundred twenty teachers were selected from district Attock public based on their age, gender, qualification, teaching level and teaching experience. A five-point Likert scale survey instrument using the CSS framework was used to analyze the disaster preparedness of secondary school teachers. The data was collected through Google Forms using a survey. Data was standardized on MS Excel for a smooth run on SPPS. The data revealed that the majority of the schools are prepared for disaster. There are safe learning facilities, school disaster management, disaster risk reduction and resilience education. However, no school was found to be highly prepared. At the end of the study, the researcher gives further research recommendations on school safety based on the CSS framework.

Collaboration, Socialization, and Support: Accountability Partners in an Online Doctoral Learning Environment

Non-traditional doctoral students encounter numerous challenges seeking a doctoral degree in an online learning environment. Non-traditional online doctoral students tend to be working adults who are integrating their online doctoral studies with the existing challenges of work and family. Effective online accountability partners must work within a framework of virtual mentoring competencies for online doctoral students to successfully collaborate, communicate, and learn together. The qualitative exploratory study explored the experiences of successful online doctoral students at working with accountability partners during their doctoral journey. The research question guiding the study was: How can accountability partner relationships be effective for online doctoral students when almost no face-to-face and in-person interaction takes place? The three themes emerging from the study addressed the online doctoral student's need for (1) collaboration, (2) socialization, and (3) support from their accountability partners. Study participants emphasized the many characteristics of a successful accountability partner relationship, including bidirectional support, feedback, communication, encouragement, cooperation, and collaboration. The study findings aligned with existing literature and illustrated the many challenges faced by online doctoral students that their more traditional student counterparts studying in a more traditional brick-and mortar university environment do not encounter. Numerous practical implications and recommendations resulted from this study. The researchers created the Collaboration, Socialization, and Support (CSS) framework using the thematic analysis of the coded interview results. The CSS framework is a practical model for creating and maintaining successful accountability partner relationship between online doctoral students.

Alternate method to develop ground motion prediction equations: Calibration over Himalayan region

An alternative approach for constructing GMPEs, the Consistent Spectral Shape approach (CSS), is recently proposed to overcome the limitations of the conventional methods. The CSS framework is already implemented using the NGA-West2 database to develop a set of five GMPEs of 5 % damped spectral accelerations (RotD50, RotD100, Geo-mean, GMRotD50, and GMRotD100). In this paper, the performance of the CSS-GMPEs based on the NGA-West2 database is first assessed against those developed in the NGA-West2 project. Two different yardsticks are considered for the comparison: overall root mean square error (RMSE) and similitude of spectral shape. RMSE for CSS-GMPE and five NGA-West2 GMPEs are nearly consistent, but CSS utilizes a significantly smaller number of independent variables. CSS-GMPE also performs better while comparing the similitude of spectral shape. This paper next modifies the existing set of five CSS-GMPEs for the Himalayan region using a generic modification function contingent on intensity measure (RotD50, RotD100, Geo-mean, GMRotD50, and GMRotD100). All five CSS-GMPEs modified for the Himalayan region are observed to be performed satisfactorily for all practical purposes. These modified GMPEs are expected to be a valuable tool for site-specific seismic hazard analysis.

Empowering Foot Health: Harnessing the Adaptive Weighted Sub-Gradient Convolutional Neural Network for Diabetic Foot Ulcer Classification.

In recent times, DFU (diabetic foot ulcer) has become a universal health problem that affects many diabetes patients severely. DFU requires immediate proper treatment to avert amputation. Clinical examination of DFU is a tedious process and complex in nature. Concurrently, DL (deep learning) methodologies can show prominent outcomes in the classification of DFU because of their efficient learning capacity. Though traditional systems have tried using DL-based models to procure better performance, there is room for enhancement in accuracy. Therefore, the present study uses the AWSg-CNN (Adaptive Weighted Sub-gradient Convolutional Neural Network) method to classify DFU. A DFUC dataset is considered, and several processes are involved in the present study. Initially, the proposed method starts with pre-processing, excluding inconsistent and missing data, to enhance dataset quality and accuracy. Further, for classification, the proposed method utilizes the process of RIW (random initialization of weights) and log softmax with the ASGO (Adaptive Sub-gradient Optimizer) for effective performance. In this process, RIW efficiently learns the shift of feature space between the convolutional layers. To evade the underflow of gradients, the log softmax function is used. When logging softmax with the ASGO is used for the activation function, the gradient steps are controlled. An adaptive modification of the proximal function simplifies the learning rate significantly, and optimal proximal functions are produced. Due to such merits, the proposed method can perform better classification. The predicted results are displayed on the webpage through the HTML, CSS, and Flask frameworks. The effectiveness of the proposed system is evaluated with accuracy, recall, F1-score, and precision to confirm its effectual performance.

Stunting is a condition in which toddlers experience a lack of nutritional intake for a long period of time so that children experience growth disorders, namely their height is shorter than the age standard. This community service activity was carried out in the Duren Sawit Village. Based on the results of the team's interviews with related parties, so far the process of recording and monitoring children's growth and development data is still done manually. For this reason, an application was developed that is expected to help and facilitate related parties in recording and monitoring child growth and development data. In addition, this application is also expected to be able to provide a visualization of the condition of child growth and development in an area through the process of early detection of stunting on child growth and development data that is inputted at the time of measurement. Bootstrap is a CSS framework that is most in demand by website developers. By using bootstrap we can easily design a responsive website appearance. For this reason, a stunting detection application was made using the bootstrap framework, with the aim that users can more easily use and access this stunting detection application.

Web-based Academic Information System Design at Al-mukhlisin High School Bogor

Academic information system is an application designed for the needs of managing school academic data so that schools can manage academic data better and more efficiently. Website creation in this study uses the programming language PHP Native and JavaScript, for the design used is CSS and the CSS Framework, namely Bootstrap, and the Database Engine used is the MySQL Database. The application that will be made will be able to perform CRUD operations for student data, student grades, teachers, subjects, posts, student and user accounts, besides that the front page will display information about school profiles and activities. Complete CRUD operations can only be performed by the admin, while students can only see their own data (including grades). Forms that will be created include Admin Login Form, Student Login Form, User Registration Form (Admin), Student Account Registration Form, Add Student Data Form, Value Input Form, Create Post Form, Student Data Edit Form, Value Edit Form, Post Edit Form and User Edit Forms. In the development which will later produce a web-based academic information system application, it is hoped that it can further assist Al-Mukhlisin Bogor Islamic High School in terms of managing academic data so that it can be even better and more effective. Students can access and view grades, personal data or information about school activities on the web-based academic application.

Shortest Path Finding Visualizer

Abstract: Visualization is an effective way to learn concepts faster than traditional methods. Modern technologies make it possible to create e-learning tools, which also greatly contribute to improving the quality of computer science teaching. The goal of this project is to create a Pathfinding Visualizer, a web-based e-learning tool that can be used to visualize the shortest path algorithm. Conceptual applications of the project are illustrated through implementations of algorithms such as Dijkstra's and DFS. This project aims to perform all these tasks with some knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React framework. Since the final product is a web application, users can easily see and learn how the algorithm works. Ease of use of the project provides users with a simple instruction manual. The first results using the app promise the benefits of this learning tool for students who have a good understanding of the shortest path algorithm.

Development of Face Recognition-Based Attendance System

Lecture attendance management is usually tedious, and time-consuming and may be prone to errors or manipulations when done manually. Hence, in this work, a web application called RollCall was developed and tested, for use by both students and lecturers in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Ilorin as a model to manage attendance. The system manages attendance by allowing the lecturers to create courses, and take and retrieve attendance records for the courses created. Student functionalities include uploading their face data, enrolling for courses, and retrieving attendance records for the courses in which they enrolled. Attendance is marked through face recognition technology implemented with Python, OpenCV and Sci-kit Learn. The web interface was implemented using HTML5, Twitter Bootstrap CSS framework and JavaScript. The findings revealed that RollCall effectively streamlined attendance management, making it easier for both students and lecturers to keep track of attendance records. The web application is user-friendly and enhances the overall academic experience by improving the accuracy and efficiency of attendance management

Development of Employee Attendance Management Information System During the Covid-19 Pandemic Based on Website using QR Code and PHP Native

Hero Web Design is a small-scale company that is growing, the company is engaged in technology. Attendance activities at Hero Web Design still use the conventional method, every day employees carry out attendance activities manually. This results in fraud, loss, and damage to the processed data because they are not integrated. As a result, with the emergence of these problems the company could not develop. With the problems that Hero Web Design has, here an online attendance information system is made with a QR-Code and face detection using the Scrum method. In this study using the Scrum method using 3 Sprints, each Sprint has a process of not more than one month. The data sources used in this study are observational data in the form of attendance management activities and report management. The second data source is interview data in the form of an answer from a question-and-answer discussion with Hero Web Design. The third data source is literature study data in the form of supporting journals that have similar research. A website-based attendance management information system with a program working process using the PHP programming language, javascript, CSS, and bootstrap framework. The results of the information system that has been created will be tested using the black box method. This method aims to check for missing or incorrect functions, interfaces, performance, program initialization and output errors, data structures, or database access errors. Furthermore, from making this system, it is hoped that it can be used as a remote or online attendance without having to come face to face and overcome the problems found in Hero Web Design.
