Author’s Creativity in Professional Activities

The article analyzes such a phenomenon of human activity as creativity. Examining a brief historical background of the origin of creative activity, it is noted that it accompanies humanity from the moment of its appearance to the present day for the aestheticization of the external appearance and surrounding life. Many famous scientists, philosophers and psychologists define creativity, on the one hand, as a process of creative development of material and spiritual values, and on the other, as an extraordinary approach to solving standard work functions. In the course of a rapid analysis of various types of professions, it was revealed that creativity is associated with a variety of human activities, with which, as it often seems, it is not directly related: sports, cooking, medicine, etc. In this regard, as the main problematic of the article, a large What is important is the disclosure of the concepts of author’s creativity in professional activities. Author’s creativity implies an individual approach and difference from other authors in the search for storylines and the use of tools, materials, and techniques in various variations. The artistic works of the authors of the article, M. Krasnova and Yu. Zelenova, are presented as examples of author’s creativity in professional activities., as well as the best works of MABiU students (Moscow). The main goal of the work was to study and rank the concepts of author’s creativity among an audience of creative youth (students of creative profiles of college and university) using the method of sociological survey. This showed that through creativity, first of all, young authors search for ways of self-expression, and the state of internal balance and the presence of an internal desire for discovery are necessary conditions for productive creative activity among young people.

Creative Self-Perception of Spanish Secondary Teachers

Aim. The aim of this research is to analyse the creative self-perception of Spanish secondary teachers in different domains considering that creativity is increasingly being considered a key educational objective by organisations such as the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) or educational laws, such as the recent Spanish one (Ministerio de Educación, Formación Profesional y Deportes Español, 2020). Methods. Participants were 100 Spanish in-service teachers at the level of secondary education. They completed the K-DOCS questionnaire (Kaufman, 2012), in which the self-perception of creativity in different domains (Self/Everyday, Scholarly, Performance, Scientific/Mechanic and Artistic) is assessed. The influence of variables such as gender, age, years of experience and area of teaching are analysed. Results. The analysis shows that Spanish secondary teachers have moderate-to-high perception of their own creativity. Although no statistically significant differences were found according to age or years of expertise, the scores in the Scientific/Mechanic domain were found to be significantly different according to gender. Separate creativity profiles were found for teachers with unrelated areas of expertise. Conclusion. This study aims to enhance understanding into the role of teachers in the promotion/hindering of creativity in classrooms. Results show a moderate creative self-perception with differences across domains, which logically conditions their conceptualisation of creativity and the importance given to it in classrooms. The importance of teacher training contributing to improve it is valued and key aspects are pointed out, such as the relevance of promoting a Centre Creative Plan with specific actions of a transdisciplinary nature in schools.

Creativity Profile Of Accounting Teachers In The Era Of Independent Learning

This research aims to (1) obtain information regarding teacher creativity in implementing the independent curriculum, (2) determine the obstacles that arise in achieving creative teachers. This research is descriptive qualitative research using interviews and observation techniques, then the data is processed using Miles and Huberman data analysis. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that creativity in preparing teaching modules and teaching materials is grouped into four dimensions, namely personal dimensions, process dimensions, product dimensions and press dimensions. The personal dimension of creativity in preparing teaching modules can be seen from the application of differentiated learning, the application of learning methods, and the elements of teaching modules. The dimensions of the creativity process in preparing teaching modules can be seen from the survey of student needs and understanding of learning outcomes, learning objectives and the flow of learning objectives. The product dimension of creativity in preparing teaching modules can be seen from the appearance of the teaching module and the content of the teaching module. In the press dimension, creativity in preparing teaching modules can be seen from the recognition and responses of other people. Meanwhile, the personal dimension of creativity in preparing teaching materials can be seen from the diversity of teaching materials and learning media as well as the depth of materials and assessments. The dimensions of the creativity process in preparing teaching materials can be seen from understanding the teaching materials. In the product dimension, creativity in preparing teaching materials can be seen from the resulting teaching materials. In the press dimension, creativity in preparing teaching materials can be seen from the recognition and responses of other people. Barriers that are often experienced include self-motivation, time management, and mastery of information technology.

Creativity profile of biology teacher candidates: An exploratory study

Abstract: Creativity is one of the important skills that teachers must have today. Creativity can be defined as the human ability to generate new and valuable ideas. In addition, creativity is considered as a basic competency that needs to be possessed by students in higher education. The purpose of this study was to determine the creativity of prospective biology teachers and its relationship with students' knowledge mastery. For this purpose, a descriptive and correlational study was conducted on 13 biology pre-service students. The instrument used in this study was the Torrance creativity test based on 4 creativity indicators: fluency, flexibility, originality and elaboration. Descriptive and correlational analyses were conducted to identify students' creativity profiles and the relationship between students' creativity and their knowledge mastery. The results showed that there were three types of creativity owned by prospective biology teacher students, namely students with low (38.46%), medium (38.46%) and high (23, 07%) levels of creativity. The correlation test results show that concept mastery correlates with student creativity (r=0.3). The conclusion of this study is that prospective biology teacher students have different creativity, and there is a correlation between students' concept mastery and their creativity level so that there needs to be an effort from lecturers by designing learning strategies that can increase student creativity and concept mastery.

The creative abilities of preservice world language educators

AbstractA creative approach to teaching can factor into a long‐lasting professional career and has the potential to attract passionate newcomers to the field of education. When creativity is valued, teachers can use these abilities to meaningfully design instruction, to create a vibrant learning environment, and to support student self‐confidence. For these reasons, this study used the Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking as well as interview data to examine creative profiles within teacher education. Using a checklist of 13 possible creative strengths, world language (n = 32) criterion‐referenced scores indicated distinct creative abilities among participants. Findings resulted in six domain‐specific creative abilities: depicting movement or action, extending or breaking boundaries, storytelling articulation, emotional expressiveness, humor, and expressiveness of titles, as prominent strengths of preservice language educators. In this study, creativity is explored as a transformative factor with potential for teacher retention and recruitment.

KAMIŃSKI, GLOWBOOK PUBLISHING, WARSAW-SIERADZ 2023) The review focuses on the Polish translation of Narine Abgarjan’s novel Three Apples Fell from the Sky. After presenting the creative profile of the writer, the reviewer analyzes the work and critically discusses the translation from the perspective of Armenology. One drawback of the translation is the lack of a reliable Armenologic linguistic research and numerous incorrect transliterations of Armenian terms.

Neurocognitive Profile of Creativity in Improving Academic Performance—A Scoping Review

The present study provides an in-depth review of the neurocognitive aspects of creativity and its association with academic achievement in children. The outcomes of this study indicate a considerable positive relationship between creativity and academic ability, namely in reading, comprehension, and written tasks. Neurocognitive processes, including associative thinking, divergent thinking, executive functions, and predictive representations, play a significant role in shaping the characteristics associated with creativity. Although creativity may lead to potential adverse outcomes, extensive study has firmly established its significance in academic accomplishment. This systematic review includes studies conducted between the years 2016 and 2022. The primary selection criteria employed for the inclusion of articles in the research encompassed the following aspects: articles written in the English language, articles directly relevant to the subject matter of the study, articles featuring a sample population comprising students, displaying regular and typical developmental patterns, articles adopting a descriptive, exploratory, or longitudinal study design. The research promotes the cultivation of creativity within educational settings, emphasizing the utilization of cultural resources, the alignment of teachers’ attitudes with the promotion of creativity, and the comprehension of neurocognitive factors influencing creative processes. There is a significant focus on the necessity for more investigation into the correlation between creativity and academic achievement. Further research is needed to gain a comprehensive understanding of how creativity is incorporated within educational settings to achieve academic performance.

Creativity Profile Of Medical Laboratory Technology Students In Medical Instrumentation Learning

The aim of the study was to describe the creativity profile of students of the Applied Undergraduate Study Program of Medical Laboratory Technology, Health Polytechnic, Ministry of Health, Mataram. The research method used is descriptive research. Data was collected through a questionnaire made using the Google form and then distributed to research respondents totaling 52 students. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis using the percentage of each indicator. The results showed that students' critical thinking skills were low on indicators of providing further explanations and drawing conclusions, and creative thinking skills were low for students to think fluently and originally.

This study aims to describe the forms of implementing the project values of strengthening the Pancasila student profile in one of the private high schools in Jakarta. The method used is observation, namely through direct observation of the research object accompanied by interviews to collect data more comprehensively. The results of the study show that the values of the Pancasila student profile have been implemented intensively at SMA Muhammadiyah 18 Jakarta. The profile of faith, piety to God Almighty and noble character is implemented through the activities of carrying out congregational prayers, reciting and studying the Al Quran. The global diversity profile is implemented through discussions and studies of various foreign cultures. The mutual cooperation profile is implemented through community service activities, group discussions, and the preparation of the OSIS work program. The independent profile is implemented through completing daily assignments, administering exams, and returning and tidying up books in the library. The creative profile is implemented by cultivating students to create new things, carrying out entrepreneurial activities in the form of selling cakes during recess, turning used goods into art, and helping UMKM part time. Critical reasoning is implemented through activities to accustom students to asking questions in class, discussing, giving arguments on the problems posed, criticizing and respecting differences of opinion. The results of this study can be used as a model in implementing Pancasila student profiles in high school..

CREATIVE INDUSTRIES IN MAJOR CITIES OF JAPAN

The article seeks to identify the features of creative industries in Japanese cities with a population over 1 million people. Since there is no universal definition of creative industries in Japan and no officially adopted classification, we analyzed and aggregated various sources of information to develop a classification of creative industries, which takes into account specific features of Japanese culture and traditions. The analysis of creative industries in the largest cities has revealed that the advanced creative industry, i. e. “IT and computer services”, is the most developed creative sector in Japan. The most widely spread traditional industries include “crafts and applied arts” and “architecture”. For all 12 cities included in the analysis we calculated specialization coefficients, i.e. the ratio of the share of creative organizations and employed in the creative industries in a city to the corresponding shares of the industry in the country, and built petal diagrams for all creative industries. As a result, we have obtained an understanding about creative profiles of all largest Japanese cities. We applied a comparative-geographical method to identify territorial differences in the development of creative industries in Japanese cities, and a cartographic method to reveal the territorial structure of creative industries at the national level. The study has shown that the creative industries are unevenly distributed over the country and the territorial structure of creative industries in Japan is monocentric with hyperconcentration in Tokyo, the “creative hub” of the whole country, which is intended to become a creative center of Asia. Our study revealed that as the city’s population decreases, the number of creative organizations and people employed in creative industries is declining quite steadily. The progress of the creative sector is an important component of the “Cool Japan” national policy, which views Japanese traditions and cultural heritage as innovations for economic growth and the development of creative industries. Depending on the number of found creative industries we identified first-, second-, and third-order “creative cores” which have a potential to become creative centers in their regions.

Albanian Children's Literature and Its Missing Literary Criticism

The purpose of this research is to raise the awareness about authors of children's literature and about the essential needs of such creative profiles, particularly for schoolchildren in primary schooling. Indeed, the appeal of literature cannot endure or develop incessantly within the imaginary framework, without its function. Thus, this literature would not be stalwartly notable from the general literature, but in fact, exactly on account of its function, it is treated and remains as such, as entirely separate, special and inspiring, not only owing to its written nature, but also because of the message it provides, and that must continuously provide. Its function must head towards education, in the general sense of the word, i.e. towards morality, ethics and aesthetics, and thus stay away from moralizing and ideologies, since only by being as such and in this position, it could fulfil its educational and pedagogical mission. Albanian children's literature, though having a late tradition compared to such literatures outside the Albanian-speaking territories, has, nevertheless, had its own dawn of growth and cultural development. This tradition has been followed by generations of authors, with the only purpose so that children could keep up with the times and other historical and cultural developments. For this reason, our literature, no matter how beautiful it may be, no matter how inspiring it may be, is still being challenged, particularly in the new century. The rapid developments of the technology and information is taking its toll, and day by day children's literature seems to be losing its function, and there is an impression that it has been left behind by these advances. With the view to making this ingenuity attractive, literary criticism must work, and through its analytical efforts, it would make it understandable, because not all of the readers (or very few) manage to understand the messages, and analyse the meaning of figurative language of artistic writing, therefore interpretation, and mediation in this matter takes its true role. Literary criticism and its role is irreplaceable, not only as a theory, but also as a science in itself. It would make the literary art more acceptable and necessary in school books, especially with the acceptable psychological and pedagogical scientific suggestions. After all, children's literature itself has a goal, i.e. artistic and ethical education through acceptable literary forms.

Strategy to Improve KPM’s Start-Up Business Creativity in the Context of Social Entrepreneurship Program

Purpose: The aim of this research was to investigate strategy to improve KPM’s start-up business creativity in the context of social entrepreneurship program. Theoretical framework: The primary goal of social work is to improve a society's overall well-being, especially for the most vulnerable populations. It's not just corporate responsibility where social workers can help businesses and strengthen entrepreneurship (Zastrow, 2017). Design/methodology/approach: The method used a qualitative approach by interviewing 3 informants of KPM, and the data was analysed by using SWOT analysis to helping identify competitive opportunities for improvement. It was designed to assess strengths (S) and weaknesses (W) as internal capabilities, while opportunities (O) and threats (T) are posed by the external environment. Findings: KPM was in incubate profile of creativity and need to empower their business skill to be sustainable, and needed the intervention of social work in giving some business education and to strengthen social entrepreneurship of KPM by using case work method should be improved. Research, Practical & Social implications: This research is urgently needed to break KPM's dependence on public assistance and increase their sustainable income through business startups and strengthen their entrepreneurial spirit. Originality/value: This research related to social work intervention in business and industry to strengthen KPM start-up through social entrepreneurship. KPM showed that they still rely on public assistance to meet their daily needs.

Students' Creativity Profile Using Project Report through the STEM integrated Project Based Learning Model

Creativity is related to mental activities to build new ideas. Students' creative thinking skills need to be developed to overcome problems in everyday life, such as discovering and creating new things, new ways, and new models that are useful for themselves and others. Creative thinking is also a skill that demands 21st-century competencies developed through applying the curriculum 2013. The Project Based Learning (PjBL) is a recommended learning model in the curriculum 2013. The purpose of this study is to measure student creativity in compiling project reports. These creative thinking skills are developed through the Human Physiology Anatomy Course (Anfisman) by applying project-based STEM-integrated PjBL. The project in question is to explore problems in the form of diseases or abnormalities in the body system often suffered by the community and their solutions. Then the project report is packaged in the form of a video. The method used in the study is the mixed method with an explanatory design. The research sample was Anfisman class students, who were selected by purposive sampling totaling 38 people. The instruments used are creative product assessment and STEM-integrated PjBL implementation sheets. The results showed that students have good creative thinking skills, shown by the results of their project report products in the form of videos. Project reports in the very creative category, as much as 12%. In the creative category, as much as 75%, and in the quite creative category, as much as 13%. It also shows that the STEM-integrated PjBL model can grow and develop students' creative thinking skills.

The Influence of Individual Personality Traits on the Result Creative Work

The article deals with the analysis of the process of students’ creative activity in connection with a set of individual personality traits. The process of teaching students showed that the result of the final product of creative activity is directly affected by the individual characteristics of a person. The stage of inspiration and creative drive alternates with the stage of loss of interest and motivation when creating the author’s concept, which characterizes the main problem of the presented article. The purpose of this work is to find and determine the reasons for the lack of motivation for learning among students of various educational institutions (college, university), courses and areas of study (design, advertising), where creative disciplines are introduced into the curriculum. The classical method of a sociological survey was taken as the main research method, according to the results of which a number of reasons were identified that affect the lack of motivation among students of creative profiles. The decisive issues were the lack of faith in the future, the denial of any teacher on the basis of their own convictions, which automatically creates a reflection on the discipline taught, the desire to replace the learning process with entertainment activities. The factors influencing the formation of a successful personality are identified: self-discipline, motivation, inspiration, an example of a teacher (as an example of an error-free algorithm of actions). As well as the influence of the typology of individuality (based on the theory of C. Jung: introversion and extraversion) on building one’s own image and the result of creative work. Introverts tend to stick to a laconic style and achromatic colors in both clothing and work. Extroverts, on the other hand, prefer bright colors and extravagant style.

Creative Profile Outline

By analyzing the wealth of concepts and definitions, generated by the restlessness of creativity, we can accept that being creative involves the ability to recombine your knowledge/skills and – implicitly – the need for introspection. In other words, the first step towards creativity leads to the awareness of point A, from which one departs to the wished-for Z; the visualization of the desire/objective, the usefulness of the idea (perhaps even the urgency), and the state of agreement with the non-negotiable values ​​outline the route whose starting point is in what we could generically call the identity of the moment.

Adolescent technology-use and creative activities during COVID-19: A qualitative study

This study investigated how COVID-19 impacted creative adolescent engagement with their creative activities, as well as how they utilized technology to cope with the pandemic. Using qualitative methods, this study was guided by phenomenology using both constructivist and transformative paradigms. Participants were English-speaking adolescents from the Midwest in the United States. They were identified as creative by their teachers according to known creative profiles and were invited to attend an all-day creative career workshop over Zoom, where the focus groups occurred for this study. Five focus groups, consisting of 25 participants, were conducted, guided by semi-structured interviews. The transcripts from the focus groups were analyzed using reflexive thematic analysis by the first, second, and third authors. Results indicated that COVID-19 affected creative adolescent engagement with creative activities in positive and negative ways, caused changes in emotions and motivation, and increased virtual creative engagement. Creative adolescents coped with COVID-19 using digital technology to connect with others virtually, to engage in virtual creative expression, inspiration, and growth, and to meet their personal needs. Implication of results is discussed.

Реализация принципа полисубъектности в развитии музыкально-творческой компетенции студентов вуза

The purpose of the study is to reveal the features of the use of the principle of polysobjectivity in the process of preparing students for creative profiles of education at the university. The article deals with the main possibilities of implementing the principle of polysubjectivity for the development of musical and creative competence of students, the possibility of their personal development and self-realization. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that the semantic characteristics of the principle of polysubobjectivity in connection with the formation of musical and creative competence of students of creative profiles are investigated. As a result, it has been revealed that the peculiarities of the principle of polysubjectivity significantly affect the development of musical and creative competence, which allows the individual to improve at a higher level of the field of musical culture and cultural-creative activity. This creates the ground for the development of students' talents, the formation of their personal contribution to the construction of a musical space in the surrounding life, projects their personal development for many years to come.
