A LITERARY IMAGE OF THE ARMENIAN VILLAGE AND ITS POLISH TRANSLATION (N. ABGARJAN, Z NIEBA SPADŁY TRZY JABŁKA [THREE APPLES FELL FROM THE SKY], TRANS. J. C. KAMIŃSKI, GLOWBOOK PUBLISHING, WARSAW-SIERADZ 2023) The review focuses on the Polish translation of Narine Abgarjan’s novel Three Apples Fell from the Sky. After presenting the creative profile of the writer, the reviewer analyzes the work and critically discusses the translation from the perspective of Armenology. One drawback of the translation is the lack of a reliable Armenologic linguistic research and numerous incorrect transliterations of Armenian terms.
