Evaluation of School Program Gaps Adiwiyata in Forming Character Profile Pancasila Students at SD Negeri 03 Jati Jaten Karanganyar District

The Adiwiyata program has the character value of caring for the environment in a person to carry out activities related to nature. Through the Adiwiyata School Program, students can be trained to have creative, adaptive, collaborative and independent behavior in accordance with the Pancasila student profile. The aim of this research is to evaluate the implementation of the Adiwiyata School program in finding gaps in the design, installation, process, product and cost-benefit aspects of the Adiwiyata School Program at SD Negeri 03 Jati Jaten, Karanganyar Regency. Program evaluation to ensure the Adiwiyata program is implemented in accordance with the objectives and results as a recommendation to improve the Adiwiyata program in this school. This research uses the DEM (discrepancy evaluation model) evaluation model or what is usually called a gap evaluation model which focuses on every aspect of design, installation, process, product and cost-benefit. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. Data and information collection regarding program implementation in providing guidance to students is carried out by means of interviews, document studies, and observations. Data analysis was carried out through a process of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results concluded that the Adiwiyata program at SD Negeri 03 Jati was implemented well even though it had not fully met the targets set. In the design aspect, no gaps were found at all. Meanwhile, in the installation aspect there is a gap of 12.5%, in the process aspect there is a gap of 11.25%, in the product aspect there is a gap of 16.67%, and in the cost-benefit aspect there is a gap of 12.5%. Based on the gap findings, there are several recommendations that can be proposed, firstly to the school to continue the program by improving the management of environment-based curriculum components by increasing collaboration with all school members and participatory activities by means of intensive and sustainable mentoring as well as budget allocation for the development of the Adiwiyata program. The second recommendation is for the Environmental Service and Adiwiyata School Trustees to provide assistance and provide support for Adiwiyata schools. Developing employee proactivity in entrepreneurial ventures through training: an organisational identity approach

Purpose This study aims to explore how training influences employee proactive behaviours in entrepreneurial ventures. Specifically, the study develops and tests a model in which organisational identification (OID) mediates the relationship between perceptions of training and two employee proactive behaviours: taking charge and creative behaviour. Design/methodology/approach Data was collected from 136 employee-supervisor dyads from 24 entrepreneurial ventures in Malaysia’s high technology industry. Smart–partial least square structural equations modelling was used to test our proposed hypothesis. Findings The findings suggest that entrepreneurial ventures can use training to strengthen employees’ identification with the ventures, which in turn encourages proactive behaviours. Originality/value This study shows how HRD practices found in larger firms can work in different ways to influence desirable behaviours among employees of entrepreneurial firms. Specifically, by demonstrating how the relationship between training and employee proactive behaviours occurs through OID in the context of entrepreneurial ventures, the authors provide a complementary explanation of how HRD practices in entrepreneurial ventures can influence employee positive behaviours.

Catalysts for Change: The Impact of Reflective Conversations on Leaders' Hope and Change-Oriented Behaviors.

How can leaders effectively navigate challenges and drive positive change in the workplace? This research introduces reflective conversations as a powerful catalyst for leaders' change-oriented initiatives. Integrating transformative learning theory and hope theory, we suggest that reflective conversations improve leaders' sense of hope and subsequently facilitate their transformational leadership and creative behaviors. We further introduce hardships (Study 1) and relationship quality (Studies 2 and 3) as key boundary conditions. We conducted a content validation study to validate our measure of reflection conversation and further conducted two experience sampling studies and one online experiment to test the transformational power of daily reflective conversations. The results reveal that when leaders experience hardships or have high-quality relationships with others, reflective conversations can be a powerful force in terms of fueling their sense of hope and inspiring them to exercise transformational leadership and creative behaviors.

The Mediating Role of Employee Energy in the Impact of Perceived Organizational Support on Creative Behaviors: An Application in Hotel Businesses

Purpose-The aim of this research is to determine the impact of perceived organizational support on creative behaviors and the mediating role of employee energy in this relationshipin hospitality businesses.In addition, determining the impact of organizational support on creative behaviors and employee energy and the impact of employee energy on creative behaviors constitute the sub-objectives of the study. Design/methodology/approach-In the research where quantitative research methods were adopted, field research was conducted with employees of five-star hotels operating in Mersin. In the study, a total of 362 questionnaires were collected using the questionnaire technique and the convenience sampling method. Collected data were analyzed by structural equation modeling using appropriate analysis programs.Findings-Analysis revealed a strong positive relationship among perceived organizational support, creative behavior, and employee energy. Research has shown that perceived organizational support has a positive impact on employees' creative behaviour and energy. In addition, it was concluded that employee energy positively affects creative behaviors. Finally, employee energy was found to be a key mediating variable that determined the impact of perceptions of organizational support on creative behaviors.Discussion-The research is among limited studies that examine the mediating role of employee energy in the relationship between perceived organizational support and creative behaviors in the context of hospitality businesses. Handled within the framework of the social change theory, this study discusses similar and different aspects in terms of theoretical and practical contributions and makes some suggestions for researchers and industry

Personal Traits of Leaders

This paper examines the relationship between leaders' personal traits or leadership traits, creativity, engagement, work performance, and innovative behavior in several Vietnamese universities. The findings aim to help university administrators refine their leadership qualities and styles to enhance these traits and behaviors in their lecturers. Data were primarily collected through survey responses from a convenience sample of 95 instructors employed at Vietnamese universities. The partial least squares structural equation model was used to analyze the data, resulting in findings that supported one of the two proposed hypotheses while the other was unsupported. Due to time constraints, this study is limited to its small sample size. Future research should involve a larger sample size to improve the generalizability of the findings.

How the arts heal: a review of the neural mechanisms behind the therapeutic effects of creative arts on mental and physical health.

The creative arts have long been known for their therapeutic potential. These modalities, which include dance, painting, and music, among others, appear to be effective in enhancing emotional expression and alleviating adverse physiological and psychological effects. Engagement in creative arts can be pursued as a personal hobby, in a classroom setting, or through a formal therapeutic intervention with a qualified therapist. Engagement can be active (i.e., creating) or passive (i.e., viewing, listening). Regardless of the modality and manner of engagement, the mechanisms explaining the therapeutic efficacy of creative arts remain poorly understood. This study aims to systematically review research investigating the neurological mechanisms activated during active or passive engagement in creative arts, with a specific emphasis on the roles of the medial prefrontal cortex (mPFC) and the amygdala in emotional regulation (ER) and creative behaviors. The review seeks to provide preliminary evidence for the possible existence of common neural mechanisms underlying both phenomena, which could inform the development of targeted therapeutic interventions leveraging creative arts for ER. A systematic review was conducted following the Cochrane Collaboration guideline and PRISMA standards to identify studies examining the neurological mechanisms underlying creative activities. A total of six out of 85 records meet the inclusion criteria, with all being basic research studies. Preliminary findings suggest that active and passive engagement with creative arts consistently activate neural circuits implicated in adaptive emotional regulation, including the mPFC and amygdala. These activations mirror the neural pathways engaged in effective ER strategies, suggesting the possible existence of shared mechanisms between creative expression and emotional processing. The evidence underscores the potential of creative arts as a complementary therapeutic strategy alongside conventional care and other evidence-based mind-body modalities. By elucidating the shared neural mechanisms between creative arts engagement and ER, this review contributes to the theoretical and practical understanding of the role of creative arts in mental health. Future research is recommended to further explore these neural correlations and their implications for therapeutic practice.

ECOLOGICALLY-ORIENTED TEACHING OF ENGLISH TO STUDENTS OF PEDAGOGICAL SPECIALITIES

The relevance of the study in this paper is due to the problems of ecology in the modern world and the formation of ecological culture among the younger generation within the framework of the educational process to introduce them the ecological values in their future professional activities to preserve and restore the ecosystem of the planet. The purpose of the study is to form a model for the didactic foundations of ecologically-oriented teaching of English to students of pedagogical specialities. The leading method for the study of this issue is the a survey using the M. Rokich test for diagnosing personal value orientations, which makes it possible to determine social values, psychological aspirations by identifying the existing self-tasks of the person under survey, features of his or her self-determination and self-regulation of behaviour within the framework of ecological culture. The study presents didactic foundations of ecologically-oriented teaching of English to students of pedagogical specialities with formation of value orientations including value-motivational, cognitive-informational and modeling of creative ecological-cognitive professional activity on the basis of which the level of ecological culture of students can be created. The formed didactic foundations model of ecologically-oriented teaching of English to students of pedagogical specialties enables to create ecological culture with value standards of careful attitude to the environment and all levels of nature, which will allow them to introduce it in the educational process in their future professional activity to educate students about high ecological culture and creative behavior concerning natural objects and the whole ecosystem of life in general, which has practical significance for the education system and well-being of society.

유아교사의 감성지능, 놀이교수효능감이 창의적 교수행동에 미치는 영향

Objectives The purpose of this study is to examine the general tendencies of early childhood teachers' emotional intelligence, play teaching efficacy, and creative teaching behaviors, and to investigate the relationships among these variables. Additionally, the study aims to analyze the effects of emotional intelligence and play teaching efficacy on creative teaching behaviors. Methods This survey research was conducted on early childhood teachers in Gyeongnam. Data was collected from September 6, 2022 to December 2, 2022, and 262 questionnaires were collected. The statistical analysis was conducted using the SPSS 27.0 program, which included descriptive statistical analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation analysis, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis. Results The emotional intelligence, play teaching efficacy, and creative teaching behavior of early childhood teachers were found to be generally higher, with statistically significant differences depending on education and career. A significant positive correlation was observed between all three variables: emotional intelligence, play teaching efficacy, and creative teaching behavior. The factor with the highest effect on creative teaching behavior was belief in play teaching efficacy, followed by emotional utilization as a sub-factor of emotional intelligence. Conclusions In order to facilitate of more effective creative teaching behavior among early childhood teachers, it is essential to implement structured educational programs that enhance their emotional intelligence and play teaching efficacy.

The mediating and moderating role of nursing information competence between nurses’ creative self-efficacy and innovation behavior in a specialized oncology hospital

ObjectiveThis study aims to examine the impact of nurses’ nursing information competence on their creative self-efficacy and innovation behavior, and to investigate its role as a mediating factor between these two elements.MethodsA survey was conducted from July to September 2023 involving 1,200 nurses from two tertiary-level oncology specialty hospitals in Beijing, selected through convenience sampling. Instruments used included the Creative Self-Efficacy Scale, Nursing Information Competence Assessment Scale, and Nurses’ Innovative Behavior Scale. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS 25.0 and R 4.1.2; AMOS26 was used to construct structural equation models and Bootstrap method was used to test the mediating hypotheses.ResultsOut of the distributed questionnaires, 1,166 were valid, yielding an effective response rate of 97.16%. Pearson correlation analysis revealed significant correlations between innovation self-efficacy, nursing information competence, and nurses’ innovative behaviors (P < 0.001). The Bootstrap method indicated that nursing information competence serves as a mediating factor in the relationship between creative self-efficacy and innovative behaviors, contributing to 24.5% of the observed effect. Additionally, regression analysis suggested that nursing information competence moderates the relationship between creative self-efficacy and innovation behavior.ConclusionThe findings suggest that nursing information competence not only mediates but also moderates the relationship between creative self-efficacy and innovative behavior. Enhancing nurses’ information competence could therefore foster creative self-efficacy, leading to an increase in innovative behavior and, subsequently, improvements in the quality of oncology nursing care.

Creative Self Efficacy in Mediating the Effect of Transformational Leadership and Innovative Behavior on Employee Performance

PT Pegadaian (Persero) is one of financial institution in the form of channeling funds to the public on the basis of the law of pawning. PT Pegadaian (Persero) Regional Office VII Denpasar in 2018 - 2020 has a low KPI value in the last 3 years compared to other regional offices throughout Indonesia. The decline in employee performance can be influenced by several factors, including leadership, innovative behavior and creative self-efficacy. This study was conducted to determine the role of creative self-efficacy in mediating the effect of transformational leadership and innovative behavior on employee performance. The sampling technique used was proportionate random sampling as many as 227 respondents were employees of PT Pegadaian (Persero) Regional Office VII Denpasar. Data were analyzed using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS). The results shows creative self-efficacy, transformational leadership and innovative behavior have a positive and significant effect on employee performance (t statistic &gt; 1.96). The results of the mediation analysis showed that creative self-efficacy was not able to mediate transformational leadership on employee performance (18.3%) but was able to partially mediate the effect of innovative behavior on employee performance (41.7%). This research is expected to be empirical evidence for future research and to be able to enrich the theory of social exchange, transformational leadership, innovative behavior and creative self-efficacy. In addition, this research is expected to provide information as a leader in improving employee performance in the PT Pegadaian (Persero) Regional Office VII Denpasar.

Criminal Genius or Everyday Villain? A Comparison of Malevolent Creativity Among Prisoners, Police Officers, and the General Population

ABSTRACTCriminals allegedly use effective novelty to intentionally exploit and harm others (creative fraud, theft, and murder). However, empirical evidence that criminals possess higher malevolent creativity than individuals without criminal backgrounds is lacking. We compared a male sample of prisoners in a maximum‐security penitentiary (n = 140), police officers (n = 122), and the general population (n = 106) on three different aspects of malevolent creativity: self‐reported malevolent creativity behavior (MCBS), willingness to engage in malevolent creativity on a test (MCT), and malevolent creativity potential on that test (reduced n = 285). Group comparisons (ANOVAs) differed for different malevolent creativity aspects: Prisoners reported more malevolent creativity behavior in daily life (MCBS) than nonprisoners, which may reflect their alleged criminal personality or the effects of confinement on creative coping with threat. However, prisoners also performed worse than police officers in generating creative ideas for taking revenge on others (MCT). No differences in initial willingness to engage in malevolent creativity (MCT) emerged. This discrepancy of self‐report and ability is discussed from several angles, including suitability of the applied measures and heterogeneity of prison populations. This study constitutes the first empirical insights into the often hypothesized but rarely tested malevolent creativity expression in the criminal mind.

Effects of perceived sleep quality on creative behavior via work engagement: the moderating role of gender

BackgroundSleep quality significantly impacts employees’ attitudes and behaviors. Using ego depletion theory, we examined the influence of sleep quality on work engagement and creative behavior, also investigating gender differences in these effects.MethodsA multi-wave survey approach was employed with a six-week interval between waves for data collection. Participants were recruited online across two waves, totaling 322 employees from the United Kingdom and the United States.ResultsRegression analyses revealed a statistically significant positive relationship between sleep quality and creative behavior, mediated by work engagement. Additionally, gender moderated both the direct and indirect effects of sleep quality.ConclusionThe study found a positive relationship between sleep quality and creative behavior, mediated by work engagement, with notable gender differences. Sleep quality had a stronger impact on work engagement for men than women, and a stronger indirect effect on creative behavior through work engagement. These findings add to the existing literature on the influence of sleep quality on creative behavior.

Does creativity breed unethical behavior? The roles of novelty and appropriateness in unethical behavior

Although researchers posit that creativity leads to more unethical behavior, findings have been mixed. The inconsistency may stem from previous studies prioritizing novelty over appropriateness. The goal of this study was to investigate the potential associations between novelty and appropriateness in creativity and children's inclinations towards implicit and explicit unethical behavior. Primary school children (N = 263, Mage = 11.25; 44.5 % girls) completed the alternative uses task (AUT) measuring their creativity and questionnaires measuring their unethical behavior tendency. Results showed that novelty was positively correlated with unethical behavior, while appropriateness was negatively correlated with unethical behavior. Most importantly, appropriateness moderated the relationship between novelty and children's unethical behavior. The current findings improve the understanding of the association between creativity and unethical behavior and its underlying mechanism. It demonstrates that novelty and appropriateness play different roles in unethical behavior. Further, these results can inspire methods to cultivate creativity in educational environments and daily life.

A study of gestures representing musical emotions

The creation of music has originated from the burst of inspiration of the composer. Many studies suggested that improvisation plays a more vital role than composition in the emergence of new forms of music. The production of music, especially in Western cultures, tends to follow its traditional music theory. With the emergence of Pythagorean music theory, Western musicology has been defined and developed in depth. The composer&amp;rsquo;s creation is based on music creation within the framework of the Western music theory. However, in recent years, with the rise of the topic of music gestures, some scholars have learned that music ontology as a four-dimensional hypercube is inseparable from the performer&amp;rsquo;s gesture. Therefore, some musicians also attempt to create flexible music from the perspective of music performers and based on performance gestures. This kind of music creation breaks the traditional music theory system and has more personal style characteristics, but few people can understand the thinking logic behind this kind of creative behavior. Therefore, this article focuses on the singing gesture and reversely analyzes its impact on musical creation. We use a recent mathematic definition of gestures and we discuss emotion from its etymological origin (from the Latin e-movere) as a gestural movement from inside out. This article conducts an in-depth analysis based on the singer&amp;rsquo;s gesture for the following two reasons: First, the literature on the connection between singing gesture theory and composition theory remains scarce. Second, gestures produced by a singer are the only performance form that is not enabled by other instruments.

Remixing between imitation and originality: Exploring creative behaviors in scratch projects

Remixing is a balance between imitation and originality, which gets a lot of attention as an important source of creative behaviors. Exploring the relationship between the Scratch project and its remix would provide a new perspective for understanding users’ creative behaviors. To this end, this study used 20 projects and their 957 remixes as samples to analyze creative behavior in Scratch through quantitative statistics and correlation analysis. Three research questions are addressed: (1) What creative levels are there among the remixes? (2) What relationships are there between the project and its remixes? and (3) What creative trends are there indicated in the remixes? The main results are concluded as follows. First, four creative levels of remixes based on the SOLO taxonomy are found, including feature change, appearance change, element creation, and structure creation. Feature change has the highest sum of remixes, which indicates that most remixes are at a low creative level. Second, the internal characteristics of projects are related to the lower creative level of remix, while the external characteristics are attached to the higher creative level of remix. Finally, the two-level, three-level, and four-level iteration chain of remixes are found, in which remixes with high creativity is more likely to inspire remixes with lower or equal creativity. Based on these results, suggestions for further research and improvement are discussed. This study has important implications for understanding the creative level of remix among users in programming community and guiding users to make valuable remixes.

THE INFLUENCE OF AUDITOR ETHICS ON AUDIT QUALITY IN PINRANG DISTRICT INSPECTORATE OFFICE

Audit quality is defined as the probability of an Auditor determining and reporting fraud that occurs in the client's accounting system. The higher the audit quality produced by the auditor, the higher the confidence of information users in using financial reports. This research aims to determine the influence of auditor ethics on audit quality at inspectorate offices. This type of research is quantitative research in the form of a questionnaire with uses an exploratory approach using data collection techniques, namely primary in the form of questionnaires and secondary data obtained indirectly which is tested using descriptive statistical analysis tests, validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, hypothesis tests. The results of this research show that: (1) Auditor integrity partially influences audit quality, this is proven by a significant value of 0.033, which is &lt;0.05. (2) Objectivity partially influences audit quality, this is proven by a significant value of 0.000 where &lt;0.05. (3) Partial competency has no effect on audit quality, this is proven by a significant value of 0.449, which is &gt; 0.05. (4) Auditor confidentiality does not partially influence audit quality, this is proven by a significant value of 0.179, which is &gt; 0.05. (5) The auditor's professional behavior partially influences audit quality, this is proven by a significant value of 0.000, where &lt;0.05. Integrity (X1), Objectivity (X2), Competence (X3), Creativity (X4) and Professional Behavior (X5) simultaneously influence audit quality, this is proven by the F valuecount 47,563 &gt; Ftable2.53 and a significant value of 0.000 &lt;0.05.

How does organizational support for creativity affect research and development (R&amp;D) employees’ innovative behavior?

Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the relationships among organizational support for creativity, employees’ creative self-efficacy, job satisfaction, and employees’ innovative behavior in the Chinese pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.Design/methodology/approach: A quota sample (n = 385) and a quantitative research methodology were employed in this study.Data from R&amp;D staff at Chinese pharmaceutical manufacturing companies was gathered using an online survey. The study examined the validity and reliability of the measuring tools as well as the variables’ correlation analysis. Using structural equation modeling (SEM), hypotheses were investigated. The specific indirect impacts were quantified through the use of bootstrapping.Findings:The investigation indicates that organizational support is positively related to employees’ innovative behavior. Employee inventive behavior and organizational support for creativity are positively impacted by the twin mediation roles that creative self-efficacy and work satisfaction levels play. Job satisfaction was found to have a greater impact on inventive behavior among employees compared to creative self-efficacy in terms of size. Research, practical, and social implications: In addition to fostering the interdisciplinary application of psychology and organizational behavior, this study creates a dual-mediation model that bridges the gap in the mechanisms of individual cognitive and attitudinal roles between organizational support for creativity and employee innovative behavior. Furthermore, this research advances management strategies and fosters innovation in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector.Originality/value: From the perspective of individual perceptions and attitudes, this study examined the mechanism of action between employees’ innovative behaviors and the organizational support for creativity among employees. This investigation offers a fresh viewpoint on the factors influencing employees’ innovative behaviors. The research enhances our comprehension of the correlation between employee job contentment, their belief in their creative abilities, and their capacity for innovative performance. The outcomes of the study can offer valuable perspectives for executives in the business realm.

You Want to Foster Creative Behavior? Try Behavioral Sciences Models

Abstract Why do individuals confronted with a specific situation act creatively or not? To answer this question, the psychology of creativity needs to rely on comprehensive behavioral models allowing researchers to better identify the determinants of creative behavior and to be able to efficiently foster this behavior. Behavioral sciences precisely developed behavioral models that allow us to understand and influence a wide variety of behaviors. The present contribution argues for the use of behavioral sciences models in creativity research, and describes three main functions for creativity research: (1) a heuristic function (supporting the development of scientific knowledge about goal-directed creative behavior), (2) an interventional function (supporting the elaboration of efficient behavioral interventions to foster creative behavior), and (3) a categorization function (providing a clearer view of the types of interventions designed to foster specific creative behavior and of the behavioral drivers used).

Academic community engagement on social networking sites, creative behaviour and work performance: The mediating mechanisms of knowledge sharing and relationship quality

AbstractResearchers have increasingly engaged in academic communities on social networking sites (SNSs). This study seeks to examine the impact of academic community engagement on Facebook (ACEF) on researchers’ creative behaviour and work performance, with the mediating mechanisms of relationship quality and knowledge sharing. Data were obtained from 213 researchers in an emerging country, i.e., Vietnam. Results of structural equation modelling demonstrate that ACEF indirectly influences researchers’ creative behaviour and work performance in dualistic approaches. In particular, the relationships between ACEF and work performance and between ACEF and creative behaviour are positively mediated by relationship quality. Furthermore, knowledge sharing positively mediates the ACEF-creative behaviour and relationship quality-creative behaviour links. This study is among the first to develop and validate a unique model explaining the mechanism through which ACEF impacts researchers’ work and behavioural outcomes. The findings have important implications for researchers and educational institutions in promoting academic community engagement on SNSs, which can enhance knowledge sharing, creative behaviour and work performance.

Is training important for employee innovative behaviors: mediating role of knowledge sharing and hiding

ABSTRACT Competition in today’s corporate environment pressures organizations to develop creative employee behaviors to generate organizational success. This research aims to assess the reasons for innovative employee work behaviors (IWB) such as training, knowledge sharing, and knowledge hiding in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. Data were collected from 240 employees from various service organizations in the Suleymaniyah and analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). The results show that training improved both knowledge sharing and IWB. Furthermore, knowledge sharing significantly mediated the link between training and IWB. Nevertheless, knowledge hiding did not have any significant impact on employee IWB. These findings emphasize the importance of training and KS in improving IWB in businesses.
