Innovative FOCUS: A Program to Foster Creativity and Innovation in the Context of Education for Sustainability

This study is based on the urgent need to adapt education systems to meet the challenges of the 21st century. It examines the implementation of the “Innovative FOCUS” program at the secondary school level to promote creative problem-solving skills in the sustainability context. The Innovative FOCUS program employs a two-stage approach, integrating flexibility, originality, creative personality development, and strategic planning. It includes in-service teacher training and a challenge-based learning framework in which students engage in real-world sustainability projects. The program’s effectiveness was evaluated through teacher and student feedback focusing on the development of prototypes addressing sustainability challenges. The implementation of the InFOCUS program in 19 secondary schools demonstrated significant effectiveness. Teachers indicated that the program’s tools were effective in promoting students’ creativity and problem-solving skills. Of the 64 student teams, 62 successfully developed innovative prototypes, reflecting an improved capacity for innovative thinking and underlining the practical impact of the program. The Innovative FOCUS program effectively integrates sustainability education with creative and critical thinking skills. It demonstrates the potential of challenge-based learning in transforming students’ approaches to real-world problems, aligning education with 21st-century sustainability goals. The program’s success highlights the importance of such innovative approaches in contemporary education systems.

CREATIVITY OF A PRESCHOOLER. THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL RESEARCH

The article examines the problem of creativity, defining the essence of the concept of creativity, the relationship between intelligence and creativity, and the development of creativity from preschool age. In today’s world, the problem of creative personality development is quite relevant. In the life of every person there are difficult, contradictory situations when it is necessary to find the right solutions. For this, first of all, you need to be able to think outside the box, notice the smallest details, logically develop different options for action, be self-confident and free from stereotypes. The mentioned features are the main characteristics of a creative person. Children with creative thinking participate in solving complex problems, have the ability to grasp complex ideas, notice subtle differences, are sensitive to contradictions and show the ability to evaluate both the process itself and the result, predict consequences, reason, hypothesize, apply ideas in practice, capable of transformations of critical thinking, they are characterized by great curiosity, they use alternative ways of finding information. Children with divergent thinking are able to express original ideas, invent something new, they have a rich imagination, developed intuition. The concept of creativity became the object of detailed research starting from the mid-60s of the last century when the American Psychologist J. Gilford proposed a cubic model of the structure of intelligence revealing the existence of two fundamentally different types of thought operations: convergence and divergence. Convergent thinking (convergence) is implemented when it is necessary to find only one correct solution from a set of conditions, divergent thinking (divergence) is a type of thinking that takes place in different directions and allows for variations in ways of solving the problem. According to J. Gilford, divergent thinking is the basis of creativity. The development of creativity as the ability to create becomes so important because it is the basic quality of the personality, its core, central characteristic. The basic preschool development program «Ya u Sviti» («I am in the World») for the first time in the educational space of Ukraine recognized creativity as one of the priority lines of preschool child development. The development of creative abilities in preschoolers is an important goal of the educational process. Both the activity and its result should be creative, as well as education and training of older preschoolers.

Design Thinking as a Method of Solving Project Problems in Teaching Students of Art Universities

The article deals with the problem of forming design thinking in students taking into account the requirements of the era of digitalization of society, which affects design education in general. The concept and essence of design thinking are comprehensively considered, the ways and features of its application in solving design problems are analyzed. The application of design thinking as a methodology for finding solutions to design situations and a driver of innovation in today’s educational environment is justified. The stages of design thinking process are considered and commented. Examples of design thinking application in design are analyzed. It is stated that the unifying element in design thinking is the desire to obtain deep empirical information about the target audience, design attitude and design solutions that maximally meet the technical task. As a rule, these solutions are characterized by a high degree of novelty, uniqueness and effectiveness. The tasks of modern educational environment aimed at the development of creative personality of the student, design thinking of students are analyzed. In order to increase the level of design thinking, as well as the development of divergent, abstract, figurative and systemic thinking, the inclusion of the educational discipline “Design Thinking” in the process of teaching students of training direction 54.03.01 “Design” is considered. Arts Education in the Development of the Personality of the Next Generation of Future Music Teachers: History and Modernity

The article focuses on the problem of the future music teacher’s comprehensive personal development, which is the basis of their professional competence, pedagogical skill and spiritual culture, relevant to modern education. The purpose of the study is a retrospective and comparative analysis of the problem of comprehensive personal development of the future music art teacher of a new generation, based on the historical and pedagogical experience of the organization of art education in the collegiums of Left-bank Ukraine (18th-the early 19th centuries), as they laid the groundwork for the formation and development of general and professional art education; to illustrate the practical implementation of the historical and pedagogical experience of art education organization in the collegiums of Left-bank Ukraine (18th-the early 19th centuries) on the comprehensive development of the future music teacher personality in higher educational institutions. Methods. The research methods used by the author were analysis, synthesis, systematisation, comparison and generalisation. Results. Modernization of art education in Ukraine aims to improve the spiritual and creative development of personality, humanization and humanitarization of educational process in educational institutions of different types. Consequently, this requires searching for optimal approaches to the organization of art education in higher educational establishments, which would focus on the comprehensive development and professional training of future music teachers as carriers and transmitters of national culture. Conclusions. The author has noted that the analysis and creative insight into the historical and pedagogical experience of art education organization in the collegiums of the Left Bank Ukraine (18th-the early 19th centuries) determines the possibility of its use in modern higher educational institutions for comprehensive individual development of future music art teachers, which is the basis of their professional competence, teaching skills and spiritual culture. The author has presented the transformation of progressive ideas of historical and pedagogical experience of the organization of art education in the collegiums of Left-bank Ukraine (18th-the early 19th centuries). Moreover, the author has defined the forms of organizing educational and extracurricular cultural and artistic activities of future music teachers at higher pedagogical educational institutions, namely: 1) individual classes in «Additional musical instrument», «Voice production», «Choir conducting», «Main musical instrument» and group (practical) classes in artistic disciplines, which are the part of the educational program «Secondary education (Musical art)» on the training of future music teachers; 2) staging and theatricalization, which is implemented in the course of the educational discipline «Staging a children's musical performance» and organizing creative student theater groups to perform theatrical actions: 3) vocal and choral groups in an educational institution: 4) extracurricular cultural and artistic activities.

Тhe development of personal creativity as a scientific and practical problem

The modern society needs individuals who can create something new, who can solve assigned tasks creatively. Thus, along with the acquisition of knowledge, through education students develop their creative abilities. The concept of creativity for the most part refers to the areas of psychology, pedagogics, and art. However, the concept is often found in other fields as well. The problem of creativity was considered by many foreign and domestic scientists in the field of psychology and pedagogics. In these sciences, creativity is defined as a complex, ambiguous phenomenon. Currently, there is no single generally accepted definition of creativity. ARTS SYNTHESIS IN THE DESIGN THE EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF FUTURE PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS

The article outlines the essence of the concept of the educational environment, reveals its structure, and clarifies its key role in the system of future primary school teachers’ training. To meet that aim, several theoretical methods, including analysis of sources and literature on the research; structural and functional to justify the structure, content, and principles of building a training system; and theoretical modeling, are utilized. The interconnected components of the researched professional training have been described. They provide a positive result for the professional development of the future primary school teacher: axiological, socio-cultural, epistemological, cognitive, creative, personal-activity, and communicative. It has been proved that the educational environment design utilizing art synthesis allows: for more accurately predicting and controlling the teaching process, solving educational and training tasks, ensuring favorable conditions for the development of creative personality, and optimal use of available resources.

КОМПРЕСІЯ НАУКОВОГО ТЕКСТУ ЗІ СПЕЦІАЛЬНОСТІ ЯК ФОРМУВАННЯ ПРОФЕСІЙНОЇ ІНШОМОВНОЇ КОМУНІКАТИВНОЇ КОМПЕТЕНТНОСТІ ІНОЗЕМНИХ СТУДЕНТІВ

The article is devoted to the problem of preparing foreign students of specialized specialties for professionally oriented intercultural communication. Problems related to various methods and techniques of communicative-oriented learning are highlighted. Emphasis is placed on the process of professional foreign language training, which should be aimed at the development of creative personality, its self-improvement, the formation of socially active and independent people in the context of intercultural dialogue, the disclosure of creative potential. The basic principles of realization of the communicative approach as a communicative method of teaching speech activity in the specialty in foreign language classes (Ukrainian, Russian) are formulated. The main features of the presentation as one of the types of information processing of the text as a practical result of research conducted in the framework of interactive forms of learning. The stages of preparation of foreign students to create and conduct a presentation on the specialty in foreign language classes (Ukrainian, Russian) are considered. The importance of formation of foreign language communicative competence in the context of professional training of future specialists is proved, attention is focused on one of the main types of information processing of professional text – compression. The list of features of presentation as one of the types of compression of a scientific text is given, the main stages of preparation of foreign students for creating and conducting a presentation in the specialty in foreign language classes (Ukrainian, Russian) are analyzed. It is proved that teaching compression is the formation of students’ culture of working with scientific text, improving skills and abilities of understanding, analysis of scientific text and writing a secondary scientific text based on the disclosure of the semantic structure of the original text.

FORMATION OF CREATIVE PERSONALITY: AXIOM LIFE SUCCESS

The article reveals the essence and importance of forming a creative personality since studying in secondary education. It is noted that dynamic changes in all spheres of human activity serve the need to form a high level of intellectual development of the individual. It is emphasized that human creativity is capable of creating and mastering innovations in any field. Modern trends in society have every opportunity to educate the critical generation. It is noted that the young man at the moment is not only an observer, but the creator of his own happiness. Young people are able to generate original ideas, take on solutions to bold ideas, non-standard solutions, be responsible for them. The aim of the article is to analyze the studied forms of work on the development of creative personality and to offer their own conclusions before the implementation of a successful own life position. The study of these issues was both general and special methods of studying issues: research and study of the material used, abstraction, coincidence from the abstract to the personal level. It is indicated on the results of research, which are confirmed by their own arguments about the importance of forming flexible qualities for development and creative personality. To address this issue, it is necessary to take into account promising educational technologies. They form the essence of the methodological culture of the future specialist. The formation of a creative personality should take place in the process of professional training of future teachers. This approach determines the direction of professional and pedagogical activities, which contributes not only to the development but also to the further self-development of the professional teacher. It is emphasized that the creative personality is a type of personality, which is characterized by a stable, high level of creativity, motivational and creative activity. These qualities are manifested in organic unity with a high level of creativity. These abilities allow individuals to achieve progressive, socially and personally significant results in one or more activities. Scholars distinguish the following traits of creative personality: problematic vision of the situation, boldness of thought, flexibility of thinking, alternative, independence, dialectics, tolerability and critical thinking. Analyzing the opinions and conclusions of well-known experts, it is proved that the creative abilities of the individual – a combination of personal qualities and character traits in accordance with the requirements of a particular type of educational and creative activities.

ОСВІТНЄ СЕРЕДОВИЩЕ ЯК ЧИННИК РОЗВИТКУ Й АДАПТАЦІЇ ОБДАРОВАНИХ ДІТЕЙ

The modern tendencies of psychology of development determine priority of the personality orientated model in the context of which child’s personality and idea of his/her integral development acquire the special value. The ambiguousness of interpretation of the phenomenon of gift and complication of his diagnostics creates serious difficulties in forming of the gifted personality, maintenance of his/her individuality and opening of talent. The aim of our paper is to determine the conditions of the educational environment for the development and adaptation of gifted children, substantiate the relationship between giftedness and adaptability, and present the results of the developed model of the adaptation process of gifted children. The category of gift belongs to the most fundamental description of personality. Nowadays there is a row of approaches to its determination. Most scientists examine a gift as a quality transformation of capabilities, as individual originality of makings, as psychological pre-condition of creative development of personality. Essence of personality development of the gifted children is determined as totality of their subjectivity, consciousness and system of values. The gifted child, unlike other children, in a greater measure is provided with ability to achieve the excellent degrees of subjectivity, consciousness, system of values, self-development in condition of successful adaptation process. Adaptation of gifted children is understood by us as a process of manifestation and development of giftedness and formation of children’s individuality in the educational environment. The social situation of development, development of gift and adaptability of the gifted children are correlated with the formation of personal reflection and self-esteem, self-confidence, value consciousness, the formation of characterological personality traits – communication, confidence, emotional stability, self-control, and reluctance to aggression. The presented model of the adaptation process determines the conditions of the educational environment for the development and adaptation of gifted children constructive relationships in the contact social environment (gifted children, parents, teachers, peers) and educational activities that contribute to adaptation and disclosure of children's giftedness through the formation of personal qualities, self-esteem, self-awareness and self-affirmation, personal values and reflection. Awareness of personal values, their own achievements and their recognition are value determinants of the development of creative abilities and personal identity of gifted children. A level, quality originality and character of the development of children’s gift are the result of a difficult cooperation of abilities, pedagogical conditions of the educational environment and psychological mechanisms of personal self- development and self-realization.

The rapid development of the society requires changes in technologies and methods of the educational process. The article notes that the modernization of physical education in general secondary education has undergone significant changes in the context of global change and challenges. The purpose of the study is to summarize scientific and methodological literature and advanced pedagogical evidence of the best teachers of physical education, to identify modern approaches to teaching physical education using the latest technologies and interactive teaching methods in distance learning aimed at creative personality development, innovation in practice of physical education teachers in the context of global change and current challenges. To meet the physical culture and sports needs and motives of young students it is necessary to comprehensively use the latest technologies and interactive teaching methods, modern recreational tools for various types of physical activity, aimed at health and active youth leisure, strengthening skills, strengthening health attitude to it, the development of personal physical education, conscious leading a healthy lifestyle, especially to ensure the quality of education during the pandemic. We offer active use of webinars, trainings, challenges with the use of case technologies, ICT tools, the latest technologies in distance learning. Distance learning in physical education with a good setup of the educational process is an effective way to maintain students’ health during forced quarantine connected with martial law, both physical and psychological, as it helps to some extent to relieve stress and distract from the burden and constant use of gadgets.

Educational Issues of Development of Future Music Teacher’s Creative Potential in the Course of Metodological Training

Modern society is characterised by rapid changes in all areas of life, which especially affects the development of educational space where new values and digital technologies, new lifestyles that require advanced educational and pedagogical conditions. The personality development takes place throughout the entire life, yet, it becomes of particular importance at the stage of undergoing professional training in a higher education institution when the foundations of professional qualities of a specialist are formed. That is why creative potential as a personal trait of a future music teacher is gaining more and more relevance at the current stage of development of higher education, as the effectiveness of a student’s future professional activity depends not only on professional skills and abilities, but also on a student’s personal creative development. For a long period of time, the issues of methodological training of future specialists in the field of music were considered in line with the concept of social behaviour regulation due to the way the respective educational process was organized. The current processes in Ukraine necessitate the reinvention of the conceptual foundations of the training of future music teachers. INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES OF TEACHING ‘PEDAGOGY OF PRIMARY EDUCATION’ COURSE IN THE LIGHT OF THE NEW UKRAINIAN SCHOOL CONCEPTUAL IDEAS

The article highlights the theoretical and methodological features of innovative personality-oriented technologies introduction in the teaching the discipline ‘Pedagogy of Primary Education’ for future primary school teachers. The experience of using interactive, problem, aesthetic therapy technologies in lectures and practical classes, taking into account the implementation of conceptual ideas of the New Ukrainian School (partnership pedagogy, personality orientation, motivated teacher, education on values, etc.).
 The purpose of studying the course ‘Pedagogy of Primary Education’ by future primary school teachers is determined, which consists of the development of professional motivation, formation of a system of knowledge about psychological and pedagogical bases of teaching and education of junior schoolchildren, modern forms of school interaction with family, development of practical skills and organizational skills., the educational environment of the New Ukrainian school on the basis of humanistic pedagogy. It is established that the most effective innovative technologies for teaching the course ‘Pedagogy of Primary Education’ are personality-oriented technologies, including interactive, project technologies, aesthetic therapy, and more.
 Interactive technologies are aimed at ensuring active interaction of participants through the optimal combination of various activities, including communication, creation of psychologically comfortable conditions, in which each student feels their uniqueness, individuality, self-sufficiency. Among the many interactive teaching methods of primary education pedagogy, the most productive, in our opinion, are dialogue, discussion, brainstorming, incomplete sentence, ‘carousel’, the method of the business game, analysis of pedagogical situations, the method of PRESS and others. The use of project technologies for studying primary education pedagogy promotes individual and creative development of personality, research skills, enables finding an individual approach to each student, and gives the opportunity to choose a more convenient way of learning and the pace of work. The result of the project can be a laptop (hand-made interactive mini-book on the topic), a knowledge map (structuring educational information in visual form), etc. Aesthetic theories contribute to the provision of a specific emotional atmosphere by activating the sensory sphere of the individual and the development of creative potential in the process of educational and cognitive activities. The most effective aesthetic therapy technologies include fairy tale therapy, laughter therapy, psycho gymnastics, etc.
 Emphasis is placed on the development of the professional motivation of students by involving them in interactive interaction, implementation of educational projects, individual creative tasks, aesthetic therapy activities, and more.

CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS IN THE MUSICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL CONCEPT OF K. ORFF

The essence of K. Orff’s musical and pedagogical concept is considered in the article; the importance of the creative development of students of secondary schools is revealed. The meaning of 'elementary music,' which is connected with movement, dance, and word and creates a basis for the child’s development, is clarified. The five-volume collection 'Orff-Schulwerk. Musik für kinder' is analyzed; its role in creating analogues in different countries is revealed. The problem of stimulating the creative potential of the individual by means of the music-pedagogical system is highlighted.
 The instruments of the children’s orchestra developed by K. Orff together with K. Sachs are described, which included melodic and noise percussion instruments, the simplest wind, and strings. The principle of active music-making and creative development of personality on the basis of playing children’s musical instruments, rhythmic movements, dance, and pantomime is analyzed. The role of rhythmic, vocal, and instrumental improvisations for the creative development of students is revealed. The curriculum at the Orff’ Institute is covered, which included the methods of teaching children’s musical instruments, a course of rhythmic exercises, choreography, conducting, solfeggio, instrumentation.
 The work ‘Theory and practice of music and aesthetic education according to the system of K. Orff’ (by E. Kurishev, L. Kurisheva) is analyzed, which highlights the practical experience of Ukrainian teachers in the classroom and extracurricular activities with students. The countries that have shown interest in Orff's pedagogy and continue to work actively on this system are listed. K. Orff's conviction is formulated that the art of the future is inherent in the nature of human abilities and it is only necessary to create conditions for the creative development of the individual.

The student choral activity organizational structure

The topicality of the problem. One of the main tasks of higher education institutions of non-artistic orientation is creating conditions for the formation of the creative personality of student youth by involving them in various types of amateur art. Participation in choral cultural and leisure groups will promote the realization of natural abilities and talents of the individual, as well as the acquisition of the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities of interpersonal interaction by mastering and manifesting in public the best examples of choral music. Therefore, it is important to clarify sense and student choral activity organizational structure as a specific art phenomenon. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the student choral activity organizational structure, clarify its sense and show its educational potential as an effective means of personality socialization. The task is to analyze the scientific sources of the problem. Methods. of the article, The following general scientific theoretical methods are used in the article according to defined tasks: art history analysis, educational and psychological literature. Results. It was clarified that the student choral activity organizational structure shows poly-functional artistic and creative activity, which meaning is accomplished in the integration of pedagogical, developmental, and recreational functions, aimed at activation and creative development of personality. It was proved that the organizational structure of the phenomenon is seen as a summation of strong connections and consists of the following interconnected directions of artistic and creative activity: organizational, social and cultural determination, organizational forms of artistic and creative activity, common activity, moral and ethical and psychological comfort, interpersonal relations, intergroup connections, leading of choral activity. It was justified, that student choral activity organizational structure and mechanisms of interaction between its participants are arisen and defined by the practice of choral singing, they depend on the style, methods, and systems of a ruling of this process. Perspectives. Our scientific research of student choral activity organizational structure revealed the diversity of specific features, which need a further scientific generalization of highlighting aspects of real artistic practice in conditions of modern social and cultural reality.

BIOGRAPHICAL AND NARRATIVE RESEARCH ON THE PSYCHOLOGY AND PEDAGOGY OF MUSIC IN POLAND

The article is devoted to a very topical issue of coverage of personal and biographical infor-mation in special musicological and popular literature. A special place is given to the analysis of the expediency of the spheres of biography and autobiography in musicology; the prospects of biographical and narrative research are indicated, including the so-called "Narrative interviews" in connection with the globalized information network. Thanks to the influencers of social networks, which significantly affect the public consciousness, such forms of representation of the works of composers of the past and present acquire new meanings and are very important. It is pointed out that narrative methods are one of the adequate ways to study the processes of creative personality development, music education and cultural environment. The results of biographical and narrative research conducted by a group of scientists of the Music Academy named after F. Chopin in Warsaw under the direction of Professor Maria Mantuzhevska in the 1970s.

Self-management as a basic professional competence of the artist in modern cultural space

The purpose of the article is to analyze Self-Management as an important Basic Professional Competence that influences the Self-Realization of the Artist. The methodology of the research is a general scientific theoretical method of analysis that allowed to trace the influence of Self-Management on the formation and development of creative personality in the cultural environment. Conclusions. The research found that Self-Management is a necessary Basic Professional Competence in the Self-Realization of the Subject Of the modern Cultural Space. Professional Competence and knowledge and skills in Self-Management help to solve various tasks in the activity of the formed personality without which it is impossible to achieve a high level of development in culture. The unity of professional and creative abilities and effective methods of Self-Management solve the most acute problems in promoting their own works of art in the activity of Artists.

Victor Lvovich Kirpichev are distinguished scientific, engineer, teacher and reformer of higher technical school. He are founder and organizer of technical education in Ukraine. Kirpichev combined knowledge and industrial practice of student. He give much attention for creative development of personality. Kirpichev holded that engineer must have artistic education. He in every way possible supported students and defended their right to self-determination.
