Menggali Pengalaman Penggunaan Aplikasi Canva dalam Meningkatkan Pemahaman Siswa SD terhadap Mata Pelajaran IPS

This research investigates the use of the Canva application in improving students' understanding of Social Sciences in Elementary Schools. By using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study will involve classroom observations, as well as literature studies regarding students using Canva. The research results also show that Canva is effective in facilitating students' understanding of several social studies concepts through creative visualization. Students may also respond positively to using Canva, which indicates increased motivation and engagement in learning. However, there are challenges related to digital skills and access to technology. The implications of this research will at least highlight the importance of ongoing training for teachers and adequate technical support to optimize the use of Canva in primary education.

Integrative Knowledge and Contemporary Issues: Evaluating Amin Abdullah's Paradigm of Multidisciplinarity

This study investigates the evolving nature of knowledge in addressing contemporary issues that arise with rapid societal changes. Motivated by the need for adaptive solutions beyond traditional monodisciplinary approaches, this research examines the new paradigm introduced by Amin Abdullah in his seminal work, "MIT" (Multidisciplinary, Interdisciplinary, and Transdisciplinary). Employing a qualitative methodology with a library research approach, the study analyzes primary and secondary sources related to Abdullah's framework. Content and historical analysis techniques were utilized to interpret the data. The findings reveal that Abdullah’s paradigm integrates three clusters of knowledge—Naql (Revelation), Aql (Reason), and Qalb (Intuition)—through a trialogue involving subjective (religion), objective (science), and intersubjective (conscience) aspects. This approach promotes a comprehensive framework for addressing contemporary complexities by merging hadarah al-nas (religion), hadarah al-falsafah (philosophy), and hadarah al-‘ilm (science). Abdullah advocates for dialogical and integrative values, emphasizing semipermeable boundaries, intersubjective testability, and creative imagination as tools for effective problem-solving in a multifaceted world. This paradigm offers a significant shift from stagnant scientific approaches, proposing a dynamic model that fosters adaptability and holistic understanding.

SPECIFICS OF STUDYING ONOMASTICS IN GENERAL SECONDARY EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

The article presents the peculiarities of studying onomastics in the school course of the Ukrainian language and literature, in particular its interdisciplinary orientation, its important role in the formation of key competencies of students, as well as high educational potential. The problem of incorporating onomastic material into basic and additional language and literary education has attracted the attention of methodologists, but the forms and methods of learning proper names that contribute to the growth of students' language culture, develop their oral and written speech, and creative imagination require a thorough systematisation. The article describes the stages of work in Ukrainian language lessons with proper names and their meanings, categories, etymology. In particular, the methodology of studying such major layers of onomastic vocabulary as anthroponyms and toponyms is analysed. The technology of using the research method, which forms various aspects of students' creative activity and ensures efficiency in learning, is outlined. Considerable attention is paid to the study of literary onomastics, namely, the functioning of poetonyms in works of various genres. The characteristic and linguistic and stylistic potential of names used in folklore texts, poetry, prose and drama is determined. The semantic load of onyms that serve as the title of a work of fiction is also substantiated. The study of onomastics in secondary education institutions convinces that this linguistic and poetic field contributes to a more concise achievement of the educational and upbringing tasks set for the teacher, since the implementation of the socio-cultural content line is possible only if students are introduced to the national cultural fund, studying onomastic markers of the linguistic and literary treasury. The study outlines further aspects of studying onomastic material in the school course of the Ukrainian language and literature, development of modern forms of methodological work of a teacher of language.

Implementasi Metode Bercerita Dalam Meningkatkan Perkembangan Bahasa Anak Usia Dini Di TK Swasta Al-Ihsan

Early childhood language development is one of the abilities that children must have as a means of communicating and interacting with their environment. The aim of this research is to describe storytelling methods to improve language development skills in early childhood. The subjects of this research involved 8 students from Al-Ihsan Private Kindergarten, of whom two children had speech delays. The research methods used were observations and interviews with teachers as well as observations at the Al-Ihsan private kindergarten. The results of this research show that the storytelling method can improve the language development of young children aged 4-6 years through children's stories, which can develop creative imagination and can also help children communicate

DEVELOPMENT PERSPECTIVES AND INNOVATIVE AREAS OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE APPLICATION IN MARKETING AND PR

This article focuses on the future development and innovative uses of AI in marketing and public relations. The purpose of the article is to systematise information on new approaches to marketing and PR that use artificial intelligence. Research methods include analysis of market trends, data synthesis and case studies. The findings highlight that artificial intelligence is playing a central role in the evolution of marketing and public relations, significantly improving the efficiency of data processing, brand positioning and personalisation of communication. The study examines the contribution of tools such as Jasper and ChatGPT to marketing copywriting and content planning, as well as Frace and Fireflies to monitoring the emotional tone of brands on social media and automating meetings. Such tools as Deepl and Grammarly are highlighted to ensure translation and proofreading accuracy, as well as the use of Midjourney for creative visualisation. The analysis of the market for the use of AI in marketing indicates that the AI market in marketing and PR could reach 107.57 billion USD by 2028. However, 37% of companies are still not ready to fully implement AI due to a lack of skilled skills and resources, which highlights the need for educational initiatives to improve professional competence. The document points to the potential for revolutionary changes in the way businesses do business, including increased efficiency, security and adaptation to consumer preferences, with a focus on strategic understanding and adaptation to changing market conditions. The practical significance of the study is to provide businesses with recommendations on the effective use of AI, which can increase the competitiveness of companies. The scientific novelty of this study lies in a comprehensive analysis of the impact of artificial intelligence on various aspects of marketing and public relations, as well as in identifying the potential of automation and personalisation in customer interaction. The main barriers to the full implementation of AI in business processes are identified and strategies to overcome them are developed. Based on the research, recommendations will be formulated for the further development of innovative technologies in marketing and PR, with a focus on educational initiatives that can significantly increase the level of professional qualification in this field.

Karsty and miserable: Dark humor in the subsurface geopoetics of caving

Geographic accounts of caving have critiqued the propensity of affects and practices which reinforce EuroAmerican coloniality and hubris, while also finding alternative paths of intimacy and lively relationality. Yet subsurface geographies can also reinforce cliched spatial and moral topographies. This article reflects on the production of an ambivalent affect of “dark humor” in caves, through caver social worlds, and in cave writing and song. I use a Bachelardian phenomenology of the imagination as a method of interpreting the geopoetics of cave space and cave emotion related topologically rather than topographically into easy interior/exterior or surface/depth oppositions. Through Jan and Herb Conn's cave ballads and poetry, imaginative place names, and accounts of irritating struggles with manganese, a different emotional culture of caving is produced than the masculine risk-seeking one might expect. Nonetheless, such phenomenological focus on immediacy of creative imagination risks precluding broader historical-political contexts of settler coloniality. Seeking a position between “ruthlessly critical” or “post-critically evasive” analyses, I consider how the Conns produced an “anti-heroic” attitude useful beyond caving and the politics of the subsurface but without purity or innocence.

By analyzing contemporary pedagogical methods, it aims to uncover a more effective teaching approach that simultaneously nurtures students’ enthusiasm for construction and design, emphasizing the synergy between technical proficiency and creative vision. Proposing a hands-on, problem-solving methodology integrated within design studios, this study suggests a paradigm shift towards an ontological observational approach. It argues for a transformative change in perception among educators and students alike, advocating for a unified educational framework that fosters technical and theoretical coherence, ultimately contributing to sustainable architectural practices.

Mythopoesis and the Awakening of the Ecological Unconscious in Jim Henson’s The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance

The ecological, spiritual, and psychological challenges threatening the survival of humanity are so formidable that nothing short of a transition in both our psychological lives and public policy will suffice. This article proposes that mythopoesis, the creation of imaginative worlds using the arts and mythology, can help guide us in the imagining of new ecological and psychological worldviews that can inspire us to work through the current-day ecological crisis of the Anthropocene. By examining one of the great works of children’s fantasy television, Jim Henson’s The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, we will illustrate how the series thoughtfully integrates principles of Depth Psychology such as alchemy, personal and collective shadow, the Great Turning, the ecological unconscious, earth dreaming, and the imaginal realm, with mythopoesis into a remarkably creative vision that provides a metaphorical blueprint for content that can be useful in the current era of crises.

This research aims to analyze the relationship between divergent thinking abilities and scientific creativity. That creativity is stated to originate from divergent and convergent thinking. Quantitative descriptive methods with a correlation approach were used in the research. A total of 100 prospective science teacher students were research subjects using random sampling techniques. Measuring divergent thinking abilities uses an instrument that adapts Graphic Convergent Thinking (GCT), consisting of the Gestalt Completion Test (GCT) and Snowy Picture Test (SPT). The scientific creativity instrument adapts the Scientific Creativity Test (SCT), which contains the dimensions of unusual use, problem finding, product improvement, creative imagination, problem solving, science experimentation, and product design. Correlation analysis was carried out using the Pearson correlation test. The results of the correlation test analysis obtained a Pearson correlation index of 0.932 with a significance of 0.000. These results state that divergent thinking has a very strong correlation with scientific creativity. Divergent thinking gives individuals the ability to produce many solutions with many ways of solving problems. The accuracy of the solution provided depends on the initial knowledge or information that the individual already has. Divergent thinking does not always produce new solutions.

Personality Change Across Four Years in World Trade Center Responders

The present study investigated personality change over the course of a four-year longitudinal study in N = 452 older adults who responded to the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center ( Mage = 55 years, SD = 0.41). This sample provides the rare opportunity to compare normative findings of personality change with change in a unique group with a common trauma. Participants completed the Faceted Inventory of the Five-Factor Model and the Big Five Inventory-2 across four years. Latent growth modeling showed significant mean-level decreases in Openness and Extraversion. At the facet-level, significant decreases were found for Aesthetic Sensitivity, Creative Imagination, Intellectual Curiosity, Anxiety, Anger Proneness, Positive Temperament, Venturesomeness, Ascendence, Empathy, and Achievement Striving. Further, responders showed variability in change—in particular, for Neuroticism and its facets. Regressions from exposure level and age on personality change were also examined. Results highlight the importance of facet-level analysis, as significant change was found only for certain facets within domains—sometimes when the domains showed no change. Differences between responders and normative comparisons were examined. Responders share unique trauma and personality findings may allow clinically useful information on the mental-health problems that responders experience.

INTEGRATION OF MUSIC AND ART: SOME ASPECTS TO TEACHING HISTORY OF ART

One of the trends in the process of updating the contemporary education is the use of the integratd approach to teaching. The integrated approach to teaching creates the environment which helps learners to understand relations between the areas of content of different arts. This approach is first and foremost oriented towards the development of learners’creative thinking and imagination. The program developed for teaching potential designers in Daugavpils University includes courses on history of Art. The History of Art operates with such common art categories as harmony, rhythm, genre, form, style, content, contrast, imaginative contrast etc. Being aware of mutual links between such arts as painting and music will develop understanding about associative imaginary links of the language of artistic expression. Comprehension of composer’s or painting’s creative work or an individual composition within the context of spiritual quest of the epoch allows us to broaden our perceptions about general regularities of the development of historical processes and art in one or another historical period. Those developmental periods of art, when the interaction between its different kinds was the most intensive and satiated the whole cultural aspect of the epoch (romanticism, impressionism, expressionism), attract the greatest attention. In music literature, the most delicate form of sound patterns is manifested in musical landscapes. Natural phenomena, due to their nature, can be not only seen but also heard, and therefore, the range of their reflection in music is tremendously broad. The research aim based on an integrated approach to teaching, to research the interaction between music and painting, as example using the creative work of Latvian landscapist Vilhelms Purvītis and Latvian composer Alfrēds Kalniņš. The paper focuses on the possibility to integrate art and music in the context of enrichment of students’ knowledge and skills.

Dreams and Grief Process in Selected Communities in Africa

Death is as old as life itself. The unpredictable psychological feeling called grief is usually accompanied by emotional setbacks such as anxiety, depression, insomnia, and yearning. Within these emotions also lie the reality of dreaming about the deceased. Thus, this study aimed to assess the role of dreams in grief process among selected communities in Africa and was guided by Nyerere’s philosophy of Ujamaa. The study used a phenomenological design with a sample size of 31 respondents from the Igbo (Nigeria), Tabwa (Democratic Republic of Congo), Muganda (Angola), Agni Morofoue (Cote D’ivoire), Luo (Kenya) and Gusii (Kenya) cultures. The results of the study were interpreted using content analysis. The findings showed that dreams served the roles of comfort, encouragement, warning, revelation, and spiritual presence during grief process. The results also showed that dream images can be interpreted in three ways; positively, negatively or altered image interpretation, each having its emotional effects. Prayers, purification, libations, and ritualistic sacrifices are some of the communal healing techniques for dreams having a negative image interpretation. The study therefore recommends that detailed analysis be combined with empathetic intuition and creative imagination in dream interpretation as many African communities place great importance on dreams.

Dissecting the surgeon's personality: cross-cultural comparisons in Western Europe.

The surgeon's personality contributes to variation in surgical decision-making. Previous work on surgeon personality has largely been reserved to Anglo-Saxon studies, with limited international comparisons. In this work we built upon recent work on gastrointestinal surgeon personality and aimed to detect international variations. Gastrointestinal surgeons from the UK and the Netherlands were invited to participate in validated personality assessments (44-item, 60-item Big Five Inventory; BFI). These encompass personality using five domains (open-mindedness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness and negative emotionality) with three subtraits each. Mean differences in domain factors were calculated between surgeon and nonsurgeon populations from normative data using independent-samples t-tests, adjusted for multiple testing. The items from the 44-item and 60-item BFI were compared between UK and Dutch surgeons and classified accordingly: identical (n = 16), analogous (n = 3), comparable (n = 12). UK (n = 78, 61.5% male) and Dutch (n = 280, 65% male) gastrointestinal surgeons had marked differences in the domains of open-mindedness, extraversion and agreeableness compared with national normative datasets. Moreover, although surgeons had similar levels of emotional stability, country of work influenced differences in specific BFI items. For example, Netherlands-based surgeons scored highly on questions related to sociability and organization versus UK-based surgeons who scored highly on creative imagination (p < 0.0001). In a first cross-cultural setting, we identified country-specific personality differences in gastrointestinal surgeon cohorts across domain and facet levels. Given the variation between Dutch and UK surgeons, understanding country-specific data could be useful in guiding personality research in healthcare. Furthermore, we advocate that future work adopts consensus usage of the five factor model.

Multi-modal Metaphorical Analysis of Children’s Picturebook &amp;lt;i&amp;gt;Little Stone Lion&amp;lt;/i&amp;gt;

Little Stone Lion stands out as a member of Xiong Liang&amp;apos;s &amp;quot;Chinese Illustrated Book&amp;quot; series. This work tells the story from the perspective of the stone lion at the bridgehead of the town, recounting its observations, experiences, and feelings. This book integrates traditional Chinese ink painting techniques with cultural elements, presenting a Chinese-style visual creation. Drawing upon a qualitative research approach, the study employed a comprehensive analysis of Little Stone lion, focusing on identifying and interpreting the verbal, pictorial, and multimodal metaphors employed in the illustrations and their relation to the accompanying text. The study delved into the interplay between visual and textual elements, examining how they contribute to the creation of metaphoric meaning and literary depth in the picturebook. This research sought to uncover metaphorical meanings derived from the situational and conceptual-cognitive contexts as well as the underlying thematic and emotional layers embedded within the picturebook. As the only guardian deity of the town, the little stone lion has witnessed the growth and departures of countless generations, silently guarding this land and its people. Multimodal metaphors identified from camera angles, colors, and its plain monologue are enough to touch the heartstrings and evoke a deep sense of nostalgia for one&amp;apos;s hometown and loved ones.
