In this paper, a compact microstrip bandpass Wilkinson Power Divider (WPD) with 8th harmonic suppression is designed. In the designed structure, the quarter-wavelength transmission lines are replaced with a BPF to have a bandpass-shaped WPD and to obtain a desired harmonics suppression. Asymmetric coupling lines, low-impedance lines and third-order coupling lines have been applied to design the bandpass filter (BPF) with extended upper stopband region. The central operational frequency of the WPD is located at 2.45 GHz, and the physical circuit size is only 29.4 mm × 22.6 mm. The applied bandpass filter has been analyzed and then, the proposed WPD has been designed and fabricated.
