Penyuluhan Penyusunan Akuntabilitas dan Transparansi Keuangan Pada SDN 1 Aji Jaya KNPI

This community service activity aims to increase understanding and ability in preparing accountable and transparent financial reports at SDN 1 Aji Jaya KNPI. Through this outreach, it is hoped that the school can manage school operational assistance funds more effectively and efficiently and can properly account for them to interested parties. In this activity, lecturers from the Mitra Indonesia University Faculty of Business Study Program provided practical guidance and training to teachers and school staff, including direct practice in preparing financial reports based on real cases in schools. Evaluation is carried out through an assessment of financial reports prepared by participants as well as feedback from participants regarding counseling materials and methods. The results include increased understanding of teachers and school staff regarding financial accountability and transparency, the realization of accountable and transparent financial reports at SDN Aji Jaya KNPI, as well as increased trust from parents and other parties in the management of school operational assistance funds. Through this effort, it is hoped that it can increase accountability and transparency in financial management at the school, as well as optimize the use of school operational assistance funds to improve the quality of education.

Pendampingan Peningkatan Kapasitas Kader Posyandu Remaja Uswatun Hasanah Desa Cikunir Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Singaparna

Introduction: Adolescent Reproductive Health Service is an activity and/or a series of activities aimed at adolescents in the context of maintaining reproductive health.Youth Integrated Service Post (Posyandu) is a form of Community-Based Health Efforts (UKBM) that is managed and organized from, by, for and with the community, including youth, in the implementation of health development, in order to empower the community and provide convenience in obtaining health services for adolescents to improve health status and adolescent healthy life skills. In Cikunir Village, Singaparna District, Tasikmalaya Regency, there is a youth Posyandu which has been running for 2 years. Based on information from youth cadres, there are 3 cadres who are not active. In this regard, it is necessary to recruit new youth cadres and enhance the capacity of youth cadres to increase their role in the implementation of youth posyandu. Objective: The purpose of this service was The purpose of this service was increase the capacity of youth posyandu cadres in managing posyandu.The target of the activity included youth posyandu cadres, prospective youth posyandu cadres from each hamlet and youth posyandu working groups in Cikunir village. Method: This public service was conducted by Observational method. Result: The results of the activity obtained increased knowledge of cadres about adolescent reproductive health counseling materials and increased youth skills in implementing the 5 table posyandu system and examination anthropometry. Conclusion: Cadre assistance is able to improve the knowledge and skills of cadres in the implementation of the Youth Integrated Service Post.

The Urgency of Pre-Marital Guidance on Catin (Bride-to-Be) Through an Abstinence Approach in Cirebon City

This study aims to reveal in depth the urgency of premarital guidance on catin (bride-to-be) through the abstinence approach in the city of Cirebon. Increasing The Knowledge Of Women Of Reproductive Age About Prevention Behavior Of Sexually Transmitted Infections By Providing Education

Sexually transmitted infections (STIs)/Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) are infectious diseases which are a global reproductive health problem, because the pattern of the disease occurs in almost all countries. The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge and provide education to adolescents to effectively improve STI prevention efforts. The design used is the provision of education through counseling and outreach about the dangers of STIs and how to prevent STIs. The questionnaire used is knowledge about the dangers of STIs and how to prevent STIs. The activity was carried out on May 8 2023 at the Posyandu in the Klayan Health Center, Banjarmasin City. From the results of the questionnaire it was known that the majority of participants were women of childbearing age in the age range of 20-35 years as much as 81.8%. Most of the participants were of reproductive age so they were more at risk of developing STIs. Provision of counseling materials is known to increase the knowledge of women of childbearing age. As many as 7 out of 11 participants experienced an increase in knowledge.

Edukasi Penerapan DAGUSIBU pada Kelompok Mayarakat Galesong Baru Kecamatan Galesong Kabupaten Takalar

DAGUSIBU is an educational program that invites the public to know how to get, use, store and dispose of drugs properly. The Galesong Baru community in Takalar district are used to using modern medicines and traditional medicines in treating diseases, but they do not understand how to manage the medicines they keep at home. The purpose of this extension activity is to increase the community's knowledge about the correct medicinal drugs. Activities are carried out online using the Zoom Meeting application and offline by using lecture and discussion methods. The counseling material consisted of an introduction to the meaning of DAGUSIBU, drug classification, how to use several drug dosage forms, how to store drugs and how to properly dispose of drugs. Results Outreach activities on DAGUSIBU drug education to the Galesong Baru Village community group have provided additional community knowledge about how to properly manage drugs.

Video-Based Eye Health Education during the Pandemic in the Student Community of SMAN 1 Sukabumi

Abstract. The COVID-19 pandemic is responsible for changing learning methods. Online learning during COVID-19 requires students to use electronic devices so that they are more exposed to computer screen radiation, which can cause dry eyes. This community service involves education about the importance of maintaining eye health for students. This activity aims to provide an overview of the impact of eye health during the pandemic on the high school student community, SMAN 1 Sukabumi. This activity was carried out from January 10 to January 22, 2022. Participants in this activity were all class XII students of SMAN 1 Sukabumi. This activity was part of the Field Learning Practice (Praktek Belajar Lapangan) activities for Block 21 students of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Muhammadiyah Semarang. The action in the form of online education began with counseling material on eye health and was followed by the screening of educational videos. This community services activity went smoothly. There was an increase in participants' knowledge of 55.8% from before (score of 35.84) and after a material presentation (score of 55.83). Health education messages conveyed in the form of videos are practical and quite effective as a means of disseminating information, as evidenced by the increase in participants' knowledge.

PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT DALAM BUANG AIR BESAR MELALUI METODE STBM DI RW. 07 PASIRKALIKI CIMAHI UTARA

Open defecation behavior still occurs in RT. 02 and 03 (RW. 07), Pasirkaliki Village, North Cimahi District, Cimahi City. Some residents of the community do not have a septic tank, they immediately throw their feces into the sewer. The goal is to find out the aspects of knowledge and aspects of community behavior RT. 02 and 03 Pasirkaliki Village, Cimahi City before and after community service, and the installation of 1 septic tank. The target is an increase in knowledge scores and changes in community behavior, as well as the installation of one piece septic tank. The outputs are: National Journal, Booklet and IPR, as well as the implementation video. The implementation method includes preparation, namely coordination with related parties, management of RT, RW, and Puskesmas permits, preparation of questionnaires, preparation of materials for counseling. The implementation includes: socialization to RT, RW, cadre and community managers, pretest, counseling, postest, RT, and RW deliberations, and community empowerment through septic tank construction. The partners are the people of RT. 02 and 03 Pasirkaliki Village, Cimahi City. The results achieved: there was an increase in the knowledge score of the RT. 02 and 03 community on average by 44%, there was a change in community behavior by 33.33%, and the installation of 1 septic tank. Outputs in the form of national journals, booklets and IPR, as well as implementation videos. Suggestion: The Pasirkaliki Health Center must be more intensive in conducting counseling about Stop Open Defecation (BABS) in RT. 02 and RT 03, must be more intensive in socializing about saving organic waste because not all people have participated in saving waste to build septic tanks, the community must participate in “Goyang Gotik” activities (gotong royong untuk membangun tangki septik) by saving inorganic waste, to assist in the manufacture of septic tanks.

Edukasi tentang Anemia pada Remaja Putri di Dayah Terpadu Al Madinatuddiniyah Syamsuddhuha Kecamatan Dewantara Kabupaten Aceh Utara

Adolescence is a period when growth occurs rapidly, so nutritional needs also increase. One of the nutrients whose needs increase is iron. Iron deficiency can cause anemia. Failure to reduce anemia can result in millions of women experiencing health and quality of life problems, can interfere with development and learning. Anemia is more common in young women, because it is the age group that needs the most nutrients. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase young women's knowledge about anemia. The problem-solving method used is to provide education about anemia to young women starting with a pre-test followed by delivery of counseling materials about anemia to young women and ending with a post-test and distributing leaflets and posters about anemia. Community service activities carried out for one day at Integrated Dayah Al Madinatuddiniyah Syamsuddhuha, Dewantara District, North Aceh Regency with 30 target audiences, resulted in an increase in knowledge during the pre test in the good category, namely 57% to 87% during the post test after being given counseling about anemia .Participants were enthusiastic about the education delivered, no one left the counseling area, this proved that the participants paid attention to the counseling material delivered. It is expected that health workers and teachers will provide information about anemia to young women as an effort to increase knowledge by activating peers so that information is conveyed to young women continuously so that they can prevent and treat anemia as early as possible.

KIE Probiotik Pangan Lokal serta Manfaatnya di PMB Muzilatul Nisma Kota Jambi

According to the 2018 National Riskesdas Report, the incidence of infectious diseases in infants aged less than 1 year consists of 10.6% diarrhea, 9.4% ISPA, and 3.8% pneumonia. As much as 70% of the body's immune system is affected by the health of the digestive system. One effort to maintain digestive health is to consume food or drinks that contain probiotics. Probiotics can be obtained from local food, namely fermented foods such as tempeh, pickles, tempoyak, tauco and tape. The purpose of implementing this educational activity is to change knowledge about local food probiotics. Community Service Activities will be held on January 13, 2023 beginning with an opening (introduction, time contract, explanation of objectives and materials to be provided and distribution of pre-test questionnaires), followed by educating participants about local food sources of probiotics and their benefits and ending with closing (distribution leaflets, distribution of post-test questionnaires, and distribution of gifts). This activity was attended by approximately 15 participants at PMB Muzilatulnisma. The results of the analysis of the pre and post test questionnaires on 9 participants, there was an increase in the participants' knowledge from before the educational activity and after the educational activity. The results of the evaluation during the educational process were that the participants seemed enthusiastic about the counseling material, the participants listened to the counseling carefully and the participants asked questions related to the material that was not clear. It is hoped that mothers can implement the knowledge gained in order to be able to consume local food sources of probiotics that exist around the community.

Improvement of Cadres' Skills and Knowledge to Provide Comprehensive Health Services for the Elderly

Highlights: Due to the increasing elderly population in Indonesia, this study must address the knowledge and skill gaps among health cadres in a number of Integrated Health Posts for the Elderly (Pos Layanan Terpadu Lanjut Usia/ Posyandu Lansia). Through this study, the health cadres increased their knowledge and skills, enabling them to provide comprehensive health services for the elderly. Abstract Numerous issues have arisen as a result of the large size and rapid growth of the elderly population, attesting to the need for serious efforts from all sectors to enhance their welfare. However, the health cadres at the Integrated Health Post for the Elderly (Pos Layanan Terpadu Lanjut Usia/ Posyandu Lansia) lacked the training that would have equipped them with the necessary knowledge and skills to carry out their duties. This study aimed to evaluate the significance of training for enhancing the cadres' knowledge and skills in providing comprehensive health services for the elderly. This study was quasi-experimental research with a pre-test and post-test design. The data analysis was performed using the Shapiro-Wilk test (p>0.05) and the Wilcoxon test (p<0.05). A total of 30 health cadres at Songgon Community Health Center were measured for their levels of knowledge and skills before and after the training. The training included filling out health evaluation charts, providing leaflets containing health counseling materials for the elderly, practicing exercise for the elderly, and singing an elderly marching song. Before filling out the health evaluation chart, the cadres had to measure the elderly's degree of independence as well as their mental, emotional, and nutritional status. The cadres also had to measure the weight, height, and blood pressure of the elderly. Prior to training, the cadres' knowledge of hospitalization referrals, independence, and physical exercise for the elderly was limited. The cadres' skills in filling out health evaluation charts, assessing mental, emotional, and nutritional status, measuring blood pressure, and instructing physical exercise were also inadequate. There was a significant difference in the knowledge and skills of the health cadres before and after training (p<0.05). In conclusion, there was an improvement in the health cadres' knowledge and skills regarding comprehensive health services for the elderly at the Posyandu Lansia.

Empowerment of Class IIA Prison Jember in Participatory Actions to Achieve Pulmonary Tuberculosis Elimination by 2030

The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the single agent causing pulmonary tuberculosis (TB), infects 1.8 billion people, or around one-quarter of the world's total population. In Indonesia, there are an estimated 969,000 cases of pulmonary TB, including 443,235 reported cases. Prison is a high transmission site for pulmonary TB. Prison circumstances, such as high occupancy capacity, inadequate ventilation and nutrition, difficulties accessing health care, inadequate treatment, and weak patient immunity, are some of the variables influencing this. Knowledge on the origins, transmission, preventative strategies, and early diagnosis of pulmonary TB infection is essential for the prisoner in order to change attitudes toward pulmonary TB infection. This Community Service Program intends to expand the prisoner's knowledge about pulmonary TB via 3 stages including preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The target of this program is 47 male prisoners in the Prison of Jember Class IIA. The findings were evaluated after delivering pulmonary TB counseling materials (post test) and revealed an increase in the mean value to 79.6, implying that prisoner's awareness of pulmonary TB increased.

Penyuluhan Pembukuan Keuangan Sederhana Dalam Bentuk Buku Kas Di Desa Muara Tae, Kabupaten Kutai Barat, Provinsi Kalimantan Timur

Entrepreneurship is a rapidly growing profession in Muara Tae Village. However, most of the entrepeneur in Muara Tae Village still have not implemented bookkeeping for their business finances. This raises various financial problems in the future. Therefore, to overcome the risk of problems that might occur, we conduct counseling on financial accounting in the form of a simple cash book. The purpose of this activity is to provide an understanding of the importance of financial bookkeeping in the form of a simple cash book so that business people in Muara Tae Village can understand the importance of simple financial bookkeeping and can apply it in running their business. The method used is observation and counseling to residents of Muara Tae Village who have businesses. The activity began with distributing questionnaires through the Muara Tae Village SME’s WhatsApp group, preparing counseling materials, and distributing outreach invitations to SME’s. The result of this activity is an increase in the understanding of SME’s in Muara Tae Village about simple bookkeeping and they can make their own simple bookkeeping according to the business they are doing. Penyuluhan Keluarga Sakinah Pada Lansia Di Desa Sana Daja Pasen Pamekasan

The aim of the study was to identify and describe the Sakinah family members in the elderly in Sana Daja Village, Pasean, Pamekasan. The research was conducted qualitatively through case studies. Data collection techniques: interviews with 1 extension worker, 2 extension assistants, and 3 elderly couples. Data processing techniques with reduction, presentation, and conclusion. Data validation technique with technique and source triangulation. The results showed: (1) the implementation of counseling: first, the preparation of counseling, namely influencing the place of counseling is Pasean Pamekasan Religious Affairs Office and preparing counseling materials including self-introspection material, hiding religious values, exemplary, harmony, Qana'ah, and the rights and obligations of husband and wife. The second implementation of counseling: is carried out face to face with the opening stage, giving materials, and closing. 2) The impact of counseling: adding insight about building a sakinah family for the elderly and the community feeling spiritual cleansing.

Preventing Health Problems Impact toward Pesticide Exposure among Rice Farming Group in Mayang Village, Mayang District, Jember Regency

Indonesia is an agrarian society where most of the population work as farmers. Technological advances in this century have penetrated not only the field of telecommunications but also agriculture. This progress has made agricultural production increase but has also been accompanied by an increase in the use of pesticides. The problems caused by pesticide exposure include skin diseases and respiratory and digestive tract diseases. This community service aims to prevent health problems, especially the impact of pesticide exposure on the Ambarukmo rice farmer group in Mayang Village, Jember Regency. The service activity was carried out on May 22, 2022, and was attended by 26 farmers who are members of the Ambarukmo Farmer Group in Mayang Village. Activities include outreach, counseling, and handing over personal protective equipment to farmers. The counseling material includes an understanding of pesticides, the impact of pesticides on health, and efforts to prevent diseases caused by pesticides. Efforts to prevent health problems related to the impact of pesticide exposure on farmer groups to improve the health status of farmers so that they can remain productive and prosperous.

Topical corticosteroid counselling among Malaysian community pharmacists: a qualitative interview study

BackgroundTopical corticosteroids (TCS) are commonly available in community pharmacies and are used in skin conditions like atopic dermatitis and psoriasis among others. Problems such as overuse, use of potent steroids and steroid phobia have been identified in the use of TCS in the literature. The aim of the study was to obtain community pharmacists (CPs) views regarding factors influencing their counselling of patients about TCS; challenges associated, important problems, the counselling process, shared care with other healthcare professionals, and explore further the findings from the questionnaire-based study.MethodsSeven licensed practicing community pharmacists (from the Klang Valley, Malaysia) were interviewed between 23rd September to 14th November 2021. These were CPs participating in the questionnaire study who agreed to be interviewed. NVIVO 11 software was used for data analysis. Codes and themes were generated and agreed on by the researchers.ResultsThe major themes identified related to the process mentioned of providing information to patients, the issues addressed by CPs during the counselling (including steroid phobia, overuse of TCS, patients asking for a specific preparation by name), less counselling support material, language barriers, lesser knowledge about certain conditions, information sources used by CPs (material provided by Ministry of Health and Malaysian Pharmacists Association, MIMS) and suggestions to strengthen the quality of counselling (specialization in skin diseases, webinars, shared care models). For patients requesting a particular preparation by name, the pharmacist will decide whether the preparation requested is suitable or suggest an alternative. Steroid phobia was seen more commonly among parents of young children and young patients. MIMS was available as a smartphone application making it easier to use. Advanced training for CPs in the management of skin conditions like that provided for diabetes mellitus can be considered.ConclusionsCounselling was conducted while dispensing TCS in the open area of the pharmacy. Challenges to counselling were lack of time, limited counselling materials, and language barriers. Steroid phobia requires attention. Initiatives to strengthen counselling were mentioned by respondents and appear feasible. Further research covering the entire country is required.

Perinatal care and breastfeeding education during the COVID-19 pandemic: Perspectives from Kenyan mothers and healthcare workers.

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on breastfeeding (BF) practices in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) is not well understood.Modifications in BF guidelines and delivery platforms for breastfeeding education during the COVID-19 pandemic are hypothesised to have affected BF practices. We aimed to understand the experiences with perinatal care, BF educationand practice among Kenyan mothers who delivered infants during the COVID-19 pandemic.We conducted in-depth key informant interviews with 45 mothers who delivered infants between March 2020 and December 2021, and 26 health care workers (HCW) from four health facilities in Naivasha, Kenya.While mothers noted that HCWs provided quality care and BF counselling, individual BF counselling was cited to be less frequent than before the pandemic due to altered conditions in health facilities and COVID-19 safety protocols. Mothers stated that some HCW messages emphasised the immunologic importance of BF. However, knowledge among mothers about the safety of BF in the context of COVID-19 was limited, with few participants reporting specific counselling or educational materials on topics such as COVID-19 transmission through human milk and the safety of nursing during a COVID-19 infection. Mothers described COVID-19-related income loss and lack of support from family and friends as the major challenge to practising exclusive breastfeeding (EBF) as they wished or planned. COVID-19 restrictions limited or prevented mothers' access to familial support at facilities and at home, causing them stress and fatigue. In some cases, mothers reported job loss, time spent seeking new means of employmentand food insecurity as causes for milk insufficiency, which contributed to mixed feeding before 6 months.The COVID-19 pandemic created changes to the perinatal experience for mothers. While messages about the importance of practising EBF were provided, altered HCW education delivery methods, reduced social supportand food insecurity limit EBF practices for mothers in this context.

Assessing the Operational Feasibility of Integrating Point-of-Care G6PD Testing into Plasmodium vivax Malaria Management in Vietnam.

Plasmodium vivax cases represent more than 50% of a diminishing malaria case load in Vietnam. Safe and effective radical cure strategies could support malaria elimination by 2030. This study investigated the operational feasibility of introducing point-of-care quantitative glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) testing into malaria case management practices. A prospective interventional study was conducted at nine district hospitals and commune health stations in Binh Phuoc and Gia Lai provinces in Vietnam over the period of October 2020 to October 2021. The STANDARD™ G6PD Test (SD Biosensor, Seoul, Republic of Korea) was incorporated to inform P. vivax case management. Case management data and patient and health care provider (HCP) perspectives, as well as detailed cost data were collected. The G6PD test results were interpreted correctly by HCP and the treatment algorithm was adhered to for the majority of patients. One HCP consistently ran the test incorrectly, which was identified during the monitoring and resulted in provision of refresher training and updating of training materials and patient retesting. There was wide acceptability of the intervention among patients and HCP albeit with opportunities to improve the counseling materials. Increasing the number of facilities to which the test was deployed and decreases in the malaria cases resulted in higher per patient cost for incorporating G6PD testing into the system. Commodity costs can be reduced by using the 10-unit kits compared to the 25 unit kits, particularly when the case loads are low. These results demonstrate intervention feasibility while also highlighting specific challenges for a country approaching malaria elimination.

Introduction & Aim: The development of technology has brought humans towards a world that is intangible and without boundaries. Teenager think that more active they are on social media, cooler they will be. Meanwhile, those who do not have social media are considered outdated and less sociable. Many bad things happen to teenagers in cyberspace, such as bullying, internet crimes, and accessing inappropriate content. Along with the many negative impacts of social media, the positive impacts of social media are also numerous. The purpose of this activity is to increase youth's knowledge about the positive benefits of social media for them. Method of Activity: This community service is carried out by providing education to teenager on how to increase productivity and live a healthy life through social media. Results: This activity was carried out at SMA 17 Agustus 1945 in 10thFebruary 2023. Surabaya and teenagers understand the importance of using social media properly and correctly. The initial stage of implementing this activity was preparing counseling materials and coordinating with the school. At the time of implementation, provide counseling with enthusiasm so that the enthusiasm of the participants is good. The evaluation was carried out by giving a questionnaire to measure the level of understanding of the material that had been given. Discussion: Social media is very useful for teenagers. Penyuluhan Kalkulasi Harga Pokok Produksi Biaya Penuh Untuk Penentuan Harga Jual UMKM di Desa Majau

Abstract 
 This community service activity was carried out in Majau Village, Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province. The participants in this activity are Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) who are domiciled in Majau Village, Pandeglang Regency. Majau Village, Pandeglang Regency has community potential and resources that support entrepreneurship. This condition is evidenced by the increasing number of business actors in the village. In line with the increase in the number of business actors, they faced several problems, namely the low level of knowledge and understanding in recording production costs, calculating and determining the total cost of production, and accuracy in determining and calculating selling prices. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide knowledge and understanding through counseling and socialization related to the problems faced by them, namely the MSMEs business actors in Majau Village. The method used in community service activities is the lecture method which is then followed by discussion, question and answer and case simulations. The evaluation that was carried out before the end of the activity showed that most of the participants really understood the counseling or socialization material delivered. The evaluation results also illustrated that all participants who attended the activity felt that they had benefited and were satisfied with the implementation of this activity.
