The effect of using modern technologies based on communication theory to develop the skills of reciting the Holy Quran among students of the curriculum system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: أثر استخدام التقنيات الحديثة القائمة على النظرية الاتصالية لتنمية مهارات تلاوة القرآن الكريم لدى طلبة نظام المقررات بالمملكة العربية السعودية

This study aims at identifying the Effect of Using Technology and Modern Techniques (Ayat) that is based on the connectivism theory, in developing Quran recitation skills among curriculum's students of secondary school in Saudi Arabia. In order to achieve the study's objectives, the researcher uses the semi-experimental method. The study examines a sample of (71) students of secondary school curriculum system in the first semester of the academic year 1438H - 1439H in the government schools in Riyadh. They were divided into two equal groups (experimental and control). Students of the experimental group were taught according to the software program based on connectivism theory, and the others were taught in the traditional way. An oral test is used as a study tool to measure the existence of recitation skills (correct reading, smooth reading, recitation, and chanting), and to measure the Effect of Using Technology and Modern Technique in developing these skills. After analyzing the statistical data, the results of the study indicated the Effect of Using of the Modern Techniques, based on the connectivism theory, in the development of recitation skills (correct reading, smooth reading, recitation, and chanting) among curriculum's students of secondary school in Saudi Arabia. The study also showed a statistically significant difference of (0.05) between the average scores of the two groups in the post-measurement of the recitation test in the recitation skills such as (correct reading, smooth reading, recitation, and chanting) after adjusting the pre-measurement.

Strategi Guru Agama Desa dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Al-Qur’a Warga Desa

This study aims to explore and find out the strategies of village religious teachers in improving the ability to read the Koran of Turan Baru villagers especially those aged 40 years and older. By using descriptive qualitative writing methods, data obtained using interviews and observations. The informants in this study were religious teachers and students studying the Koran in the village of Turan Baru. The results of the study obtained information that there are several strategies implemented by the Turan Baru Village Religion Teachers to improve the students' ability to read the Qur'an, namely; routine recitation; strategies for listening and correcting santri readings during recitation; motivate students in learning to read the Qur'an. The listening strategy used by village religious teachers is still quite effective in improving the ability to read Al-Qur'an of pilgrims who are above the age of 40 years and above, because when there is an error the teacher can immediately correct the mistakes of the congregation. Conclusions, methods and listening strategies in reading the Qur'an in the village of Turan Baru is one way to improve the ability to read the Qur'an, this strategy also increases the enthusiasm of learning of the congregation, which will eventually bring the congregation the better in reading the Qur'an with the correct reading rules.

Some difficulties are observed in connection with the text in the processes of transliteration and publication. These difficulties are seen in the text of the Book of Dädä Qorqut. To reveal some historical truths and to restore chronological sequence of events in the Book of Dädä Qorqut, correct reading of the place names is of special importance taking into account all these facts, we endeavored to determine the correct reading forms, etymologies and the textual significations of the words, such as Altuntaxt, Arqu Bäl, Bambam Täpä, Ärdäbil, Sincidan/Suncudan, Tali Saz etc. which were read as place names, whereas they are not place names.

AimElectrocardiogram (ECG) is a routine examination in emergency medicine (EM), however the level of resident's interpretations is inhomogeneous and sometimes insufficient. We have developed a support to assist in the interpretation of ECG in emergency situations. Our main objective was to assess whether this new tool improved the rate of good interpretations by residents of EM departments (EMD). The secondary objectives were to assess whether it improved the rate of good triages, the level of certainty of residents, and to study its impact according to the seniority of the resident. Patients and methodMulti-center, before-and-after study, carried out with existing residents in the different EMD dependent of a single university hospital center. The evaluation was conducted in two stages: an initial analysis of 17 ECGs without tool and a new analysis using the tool. ResultsOut of a target population of 68 residents, 41 (60 %) were included. The tool significantly improved the correct reading rate from 46 % without the tool to 68 % (P<0.001). The rate of correct triage (56 % vs. 64 %) and diagnostic certainty (54 vs. 66 on a scale of 0 to 100) were also significantly improved (P<0.001). The more experienced residents were generally more efficient in pre-testing, but the tool improved results regardless of seniority. ConclusionThe development of a simple support to assist in the interpretation of ECGs improves the rate of good interpretations among residents in EMD.

A Study on Zigbee Based Human Body Monitoring System

This paper introduce us a real time body monitoring system. In now a day’s security and health care becomes an hard issue. To take off and to monitor a patient continuously is very hard and huge task for doctors. This system plays an important role in monitor patients physical and mental health conditions. ZigBee can measure physical parameters like temperature, heart rate, blood pressure, patient’s movement with the help of some devices either inserted in body or externally attached to human body. It helps to get correct or accurate readings from human body and passes it to ZigBee. Next step is to process the data. The data will be sent to hospital or doctor if in case of any emergency by ZigBee wireless module. The hospital and monitoring system receive all the information about patients and save this information into database from which they can judge the condition of patients by studying the monitoring records and patient’s health. This data can be deployed in graphical form or in numerical form in dataset. According to the information collected from monitoring system the patient doctors having advantage to understand the patient condition more gracefully and also start the treatment according to continues information gathers.

Developing an advertising strategy of new product

Modern advertisingof consumer goods is developing at a rapid pace, providing ample opportunity to support for launching thousands of new items into the market. Manufacturers make the signifcant investments in various channels of communication of goods for communication with consumers, so a properly designed advertising strategy and its implementation in business is an indisputable step to achieve success of product’s realization on market. However, there is no unifed approach to the strategic planning of effective advertising support for new product, it remains is open to both academics and practitioners, and needs further development. The paper deals with the general defnitions of scientific concepts: "strategy" and "advertising strategy". The main stages of creating an advertising strategy to achieve the necessary communication effect and to obtain a positive consumer’s response are formed. Given the high level of competition in the consumer market, an analysis of market factors influencing this process is one of the frst stages of developing an advertising strategy. The existing classifcation was analyzed and the modern approach to the distribution of these factors was determined. The second step is choosing the purpose and strategic goals for building an effective advertising strategy. Starting from goals and consumer interests, there are many types of advertising strategies in the advertising market. Was examined the classifcation of advertising strategies and proposed to expand them. Depending on the components of the promotion, it is suggested to divide them into product's and image's. According to this classifcation, was analyzed using of advertising strategies by modern enterprises in 2019. Was determined that a well-formed advertising strategy of the enterprise will allow to expand the target audience when launching a new product on the market. The next important step in developing an advertising strategy is the media planning and budgeting. Was investigated the level of investments into different channels of communication, based on the data of the Ukrainian Advertising Association. Was determined that television is the most effective and expensive media channel. At the same time, the best in the terms of growth of investment relative to previous years is digital channel. Particular should be attentioned the stage of advertising creative making and the choice of the communication platform, which is the largest in period of formation of advertising strategy. The manufacturer needs to investigate and evaluate the buyer's response to the promotional product at all stages of a likely purchase. Was determined that for the correct reading of the idea of advertising, the optimal number of major messages in it should be no more than fve. Has been researched that the effectiveness of the advertising appeal is determined by the observance of psychological neutrality in relation to the whole audience involved in one way or another in the advertising campaign. When the advertising product is ready, advertising can be launched into media space. Choosing effective media channels is tailored to the needs of your target audience. The next step is following an analysis of economic efciency and effectiveness of psychological impact of advertasing strategy. According to the results of this analysis, the stages of developing a new product advertising strategy are adjusted. Relationship Between Eye-Movement Patterns, Cognitive Load, and Reading Ability in Children with Reading Difficulties.

Children with reading difficulties (RD) share challenges in executive functions (EF). Neurobiological correlates provide evidence for EF challenges during reading among these readers, but an online cognitive load detection mechanism has yet to be developed. Nevertheless, eye-movement tracking can provide online data of reading patterns (pupil dilation, fixations) and, indeed, atypical eye-movement patterns of children with RD during reading have been documented. To identify eye-movement patterns related to increased cognitive load during reading in children with RD compared to typical readers, eye movements of 8-12-year-old English-speaking children were recorded during their reading of sentences with increasing difficulty (sentences that make sense, then sentences that do not make sense) and comparing incorrect and correct responses. Children with RD demonstrated greater pupil dilation when reading sentences that make sense than when reading sentences that do not make sense and also when reading incorrectly, compared to typical readers. Increased pupil dilation in children with RD when reading sentences correctly was positively correlated with phonological awareness capabilities. Higher phonological awareness and reading abilities were related to increased pupil dilation only in children with RD during correct reading, which is related to a heavier cognitive load. Results suggest that in addition to traditional findings of altered fixation patterns in children with RD, increased pupil dilation during reading may reflect EF challenges among this population. These findings can potentially be used to adapt online written materials for children with RD based on their fixation and pupil dilation patterns.

Treaty Interpretation in Investor-State Arbitration

This study examines the exercise of discretion by investor-state arbitral tribunals in treaty interpretation. It builds upon the premise that it is an illusion to pursue a single right answer to a given legal problem when the human experience is marked by an incomplete and fragmented perception of reality. Adjudication and legal interpretation, therefore, are not understood in this study as a matter of discovery or illumination, but as a matter of choice and persuasion over choices made. Even still, the exercise of hermeneutical discretion does not amount to a license for arbitrary behavior. There may not be one single correct reading of a treaty, but certainly not all interpretations of a treaty are possible. Notably, the semantic horizon of treaty interpreters is a finite one, as the methodology established by the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties (“VCLT”) constrains the hermeneutical choices open to interpreters. Article 31 lays out a general rule of treaty interpretation, while Article 32 provides supplementary means of interpretation that can be used either to validate an outcome reached through Article 31 or, in exceptional circumstances, to autonomously determine the meaning of a treaty. Within this framework, this study examines interpretative practices of investment-treaty arbitral tribunals in light of the interpretive regime established by the VCLT, exploring their conformity or non-conformity to that regime. Radial and tangential velocity effects of a probed scanning mirror on laser Doppler frequency shift.

A laser Doppler vibrometer (LDV) is precise and fast in measuring the translational velocity of a vibrating diffuse surface. However, it could fail to measure the tangential velocity of a rotating mirror. While the specular reflection away from the mirror can be recovered by a retroreflective collector, the recovered LDV reading is found to deviate from the true tangential velocity of the probed scanning mirror. This happens because the probed spot shifts radially along the rotating mirror surface and thus introduces extra Doppler shift, while the laser beam is aimed at a constant height on the scanning mirror. Here, we derive an analytical relationship between the laser Doppler shift and the tangential velocity of the measured spot. With the input of the prescribed scan profile, we recover the true reading of tangential velocity of the scanning mirror even at a large rotational angle. This corrected LDV reading is as precise as the measurement by a high-speed camera.

Abstract The article discusses a complex of questions associated with the king Ḫartapus and early culture of the Phrygians. §§ 1-3 revise the evidence of the newly discovered HLuw. inscription TÜRKMEN-KARAHÖYÜK, arguing that the correct reading of king’s name in the first line is AQUILA+ra/i-tá-pu-sa = Ḫartapus, and (once again) that the king is not a conqueror, but a native king of Masa or Muška, who reigned in the late 2nd millennium BC. In §§ 4-5 it is suggested that HLuw. Ḫartapus conceals an early Phrygian name preserved in the toponym *Γαρδιβιον (*Γαρδυβιον) attested in the inscriptions of the Xenoi Tekmoreioi. §§ 6-11 argue that the name *Gardabos is connected with Sanskrit gardabhá- ‘donkey’, that it corresponds semantically to the west-Anatolian names Tarkasnawas and Tarkašnalliš, and that donkey ears of King Midas are a late ‘refraction’ of this fact. § 12 discusses the morphological structure of *Gardabos, revising the PIE suffix *-bho- and suggesting new cognates for Skr. gard- ‘shout’ (Armenian kard- and Baltic gerd-). §§ 13-14 discuss a probable steppe background of the ‘donkey-names’. In § 15 it is suggested that Phrygian name Gordis is based on the same root as *Gardabos, and some relevant Phrygian epigraphical evidence is presented. § 16 discusses a further probable Anatolian ‘donkey-name’, Mugallu and its likely cognate μύκαλος. §§ 17-18 touch upon the etymology of the ethnic names Masa and Muška, connecting them with the word for ‘mule’ preserved in the modern Balkan languages (Alb. mushk(ë) etc.), and, more speculatively, with the old Balkan word for ‘horse’ (*me(n)za-). § 19 argues that the ethnic name Φρύγες may have a similar original meaning, going back to another Balkan term for ‘donkey’, βρικός.

Leveraging LoRaWAN Technology for Precision Agriculture in Greenhouses.

The technology development in wireless sensor network (WSN) offers a sustainable solution towards precision agriculture (PA) in greenhouses. It helps to effectively use the agricultural resources and management tools and monitors different parameters to attain better quality yield and production. WSN makes use of Low-Power Wide-Area Networks (LPWANs), a wireless technology to transmit data over long distances with minimal power consumption. LoRaWAN is one of the most successful LPWAN technologies despite its low data rate and because of its low deployment and management costs. Greenhouses are susceptible to different types of interference and diversification, demanding an improved WSN design scheme. In this paper, we contemplate the viable challenges for PA in greenhouses and propose the successive steps essential for effectual WSN deployment and facilitation. We performed a real-time, end-to-end deployment of a LoRaWAN-based sensor network in a greenhouse of the ’Proefcentrum Hoogstraten’ research center in Belgium. We have designed a dashboard for better visualization and analysis of the data, analyzed the power consumption for the LoRaWAN communication, and tried three different enclosure types (commercial, simple box and airflow box, respectively). We validated the implications of real-word challenges on the end-to-end deployment and air circulation for the correct sensor readings. We found that temperature and humidity have a larger impact on the sensor readings inside the greenhouse than we initially thought, which we successfully solved through the airflow box design.

Sejarah dan Perkembangan Penulisan Tafsir Al-Quran di Madura

The attention of Madura’s Scholars to the Qur’an not only ceases to teach the correct and eloquent reading of the Qur’an, but continues to the understanding of the verse content. This is evidenced by the existence of several works in the study of the Qoran that developed in Madura, both in Madurese, Indonesian, and even Arabic. Historically, the genealogy of Tafsir in Madura began with the discovery of the Qoranic translated by Khalil Bangkalan in the 1900s. After Khalil’s era then grow the work of interpretation with a variety of forms and variants, ranging from oral interpretation, interpretation based on certain suras in the Qoran, to a complete interpretation of 30 Juz. This indicates that the development of Qoranic Interpertation in Madura continues to progress from time to time. This paper will explain comprehensively the history and characteristics of the interpretation in each period, starting from the form, method, to the style of interpretation in Madura. In addition, it also explains the behavior of the Madurese people towards their contact with the Qur’an, since the early Islamization era in Madura
