Deep Learning‐Driven Robust Glucose Sensing and Fruit Brix Estimation Using a Single Microwave Split Ring Resonator

AbstractExtracting the desired information from sensor data with various internal and external effects is a significant challenge in sensor applications. Difficult‐to‐control factors such as temperature, humidity, and sample position can significantly affect the stability and reliability of sensor data. In this paper, a deep learning‐based glucose sensing method that is robust to variations in sample position is proposed. It is shown that the variations in sample position affect the sensor data measured by the designed split ring resonator‐based microwave sensor. Then, artificial neural network and 1D convolutional neural network (CNN) models are evaluated for extracting glucose concentration information from the sensor data measured at random sample positions. The concentration of the glucose solution ranged from 1% to 23% (2% increments). The 1D CNN with all frequencies (0.5–18 GHz) of the and datasets outperformed the other model, with a mean absolute error (MAE) of 0.695% and a mean squared error (MSE) of 0.876 evaluated via cross‐validation. The study demonstrated that the sensor system can be applied in real life by performing fruit Brix estimation based on transfer learning of the previous 1D CNN network, and the MAE and MSE are 0.450% and 0.305, respectively.

Deep learning neural networks with input processing for vibration-based bearing fault diagnosis under imbalanced data conditions

Deep learning (DL) networks, such as convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and long short-term memory (LSTM), have gained popularity for bearing fault diagnosis utilizing raw vibration signals. However, their accuracy and stability are compromised when facing imbalanced real-world datasets. This research investigates the impact of imbalanced datasets and explores the potential of signal processing techniques on network inputs compared to the direct use of raw vibration signals. The DL techniques studied include LSTM, one-dimensional CNN, and two-dimensional (2D) CNN, and a novel hybrid 2DCNNLSTM algorithm, incorporating signal processing methods such as Fourier transform and continuous wavelet transform while maintaining nearly equal parameters and the same base architecture. The proposed hybrid 2DCNNLSTM algorithm combines the strengths of LSTM and CNN, allowing for improved bearing diagnosis by capturing both spatial and temporal information in vibration signals. The proposed 2DCNNLSTM algorithm also considers multi-channel input augmenting raw vibration signal, mean, and variance channels to extract meaningful features and enhance classification efficiency. The publicly available Case Western Reserve University benchmark-bearing test rig dataset with ten fault classes, the Paderborn University dataset with three fault classes, and NASA Centre for Intelligent Maintenance Systems bearing datasets with five fault classes are utilized to test the proposed deep learning networks’ accuracy, effectiveness, robustness, and stability. The studies reveal that the hybrid 2DCNNLSTM-based networks outperform both CNN and LSTM networks, even without input processing. Further, utilizing multi-channel input by augmenting the 2D raw signal with mean and variance value channels proves to be more efficient in handling imbalanced and complex datasets while employing a 2DCNNLSTM-based network.

An Automated Fish-Feeding System Based on CNN and GRU Neural Networks

AI plays a pivotal role in predicting plant growth in agricultural contexts and in creating optimized environments for cultivation. However, unlike agriculture, the application of AI in aquaculture is predominantly focused on diagnosing animal conditions and monitoring them for users. This paper introduces an Automated Fish-feeding System (AFS) based on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and Gated Recurrent Units (GRUs), aiming to establish an automated system akin to smart farming in the aquaculture sector. The AFS operates by precisely calculating feed rations through two main modules. The Fish Growth Measurement Module (FGMM) utilizes fish data to assess the current growth status of the fish and transmits this information to the Feed Ration Prediction Module (FRPM). The FRPM integrates sensor data from the fish farm, fish growth data, and current feed ration status as time-series data, calculating the increase or decrease rate of ration based on the present fish conditions. This paper automates feed distribution within fish farms through these two modules and verifies the efficiency of automated feed distribution. Simulation results indicate that the FGMM neural network model effectively identifies fish body length with a minor deviation of less than 0.1%, while the FRPM neural network model demonstrates proficiency in predicting ration using a GRU cell with a structured layout of 64 × 48.

Adaptive residual convolutional neural network for compressive strength prediction of energetic materials using SEM images

The microstructure of materials has a great influence on the macroscopic mechanical properties of materials, and the relationship between them is of great significance to the design of materials. With the development of artificial intelligence and deep learning, many researchers have used convolutional neural networks (CNN) to correlate microscopic images with material properties, and achieved good results. However, for different types of material performance prediction tasks and datasets of different sizes, researchers need to design a special CNN network structure, and the adjustment steps of network structure parameters are cumbersome and time consuming. In this paper, an adaptive residual convolutional neural network with variable depth and width is proposed. We take the prediction error of the test dataset of the specific material performance prediction task as the evaluation index, and adaptively adjusts the network structure based on simulated annealing algorithm to find the best network structure. Finally, it is verified on the dataset composed of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images and compressive strength of polymer explosive materials. Mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) of our model is 1.3% and the goodness of fit (R2 ) is 0.943. Further, we use Grad-CAM to explore the correlation between material microstructure and material properties.

High-Speed CNN Accelerator SoC Design Based on a Flexible Diagonal Cyclic Array

The latest convolutional neural network (CNN) models for object detection include complex layered connections to process inference data. Each layer utilizes different types of kernel modes, so the hardware needs to support all kernel modes at an optimized speed. In this paper, we propose a high-speed and optimized CNN accelerator with flexible diagonal cyclic arrays (FDCA) that supports the acceleration of CNN networks with various kernel sizes and significantly reduces the time required for inference processing. The accelerator uses four FDCAs to simultaneously calculate 16 input channels and 8 output channels. Each FDCA features a 4 × 8 systolic array that contains a 3 × 3 processing element (PE) array and is designed to handle the most commonly used kernel sizes. To evaluate the proposed CNN accelerator, we mapped the widely used YOLOv5 CNN model and evaluated the performance of its implementation on the Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC ZCU102 FPGA. The design consumes 249,357 logic cells, 2304 DSP blocks, and only 567 KB BRAM. In our evaluation, the YOLOv5n model achieves an accuracy of 43.1% (mAP@0.5). A prototype accelerator has been implemented using Samsung’s 14 nm CMOS technology. It achieves 1.075 TOPS, a peak performance with a 400 MHz clock frequency.

NLKFill: high-resolution image inpainting with a novel large kernel attention

AbstractThe integration of convolutional neural network (CNN) and transformer enhances the network’s capacity for concurrent modeling of texture details and global structures. However, training challenges with transformer limit their effectiveness to low-resolution images, leading to increased artifacts in slightly larger images. In this paper, we propose a single-stage network utilizing large kernel attention (LKA) to address high-resolution damaged images. LKA enables the capture of both global and local details, akin to transformer and CNN networks, resulting in high-quality inpainting. Our method excels in: (1) reducing parameters, improving inference speed, and enabling direct training on 1024$$\times $$ × 1024 resolution images; (2) utilizing LKA for enhanced extraction of global high-frequency and local details; (3) demonstrating excellent generalization on irregular mask models and common datasets such as Places2, Celeba-HQ, FFHQ, and the random irregular mask dataset Pconv from NVIDIA.

Renural networks applied to self-purification models of a river in West Parana

Among the parameters that allow evaluating the degree of pollution of a river, one of the most efficient is dissolved oxygen concentration (DO), as it reflects the balance between the production and consumption of oxygen in aquatic ecosystems. Due to the dynamic characteristic of DO concentration, especially in rivers and wetlands, it is highly recommended to generate DO models periodically for aquatic ecosystems so that quality control measures can be optimized over a time horizon. To this end, implementation of different artificial intelligence (AI) techniques have been suggested in the relevant literature and among these techniques, neural networks (ANNs) have been successfully applied to water quality estimates. In this context, the present work describes the development of a model in Convolutional Neural Networks – CNN (Convolutional Neural Networks) with the objective of simulating the self-cleaning potential of the Rio Alegria, located in the municipality of Medianeira in the State of Paraná . The data used was the same as that collected by Schütz in 2014, so that it was possible to compare the performance of the CNN network with the performance of the Feed Forward Network (FFN), developed with the same set of data collected in 2014. The models were developed based on data on the quality of the river's water and the effluent that is incorporated into the watercourse throughout the studied interval. The model was named, CNN5. Tests and validations were carried out by varying the network architecture with cross-validation to estimate dissolved oxygen. Considering the results referring to the simulations carried out with the CNN5 model, where the simulated OD values are compared (from the combination of the weights that the network assigns to each input), with the results collected in the field and it can be concluded that a CNN network can be used to predict dissolved oxygen in the waters of a stretch of river, with an overall accuracy of 0.90, while FFN5 managed to achieve an accuracy of 77% for the same group of data. processing, a reduction from 12 hours to two minutes can be observed.

DCGAN-based data augmentation for improving CNN performance in meningioma classification

Using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) to scan the brain and using the image to identify whether the patient has a brain tumor or not is the common way doctors use it today. However, as this may potentially add to the workload of healthcare professionals, it becomes crucial to explore methods for automating image identification. One effective algorithm for this purpose is the utilization of a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) network. However, when applying a CNN network to discern whether an individual has meningioma or not, it becomes evident that the available data may be limited. Meningioma is relatively uncommon, and not all associated images have been made accessible for analysis. The shortage of original samples makes it hard to train the CNN network and has relatively low accuracy. In this case, this study tries to use DCGAN to generate more images based on the original sample. By comparing the accuracy and f1 score of the CNN network, this study finds that implementing images has improved the performance of the CNN network. By implementing the images, the DCGAN generates, the accuracy for the same CNN network to identify whether the images have meningioma or not is increased from 93.53 percent to 97.75 percent. The f1 score also increased from about 0.9187 to about 0.9738.

A combined approach for wind power generation prediction based on CNN and double BiLSTM neural network

With the demand for electricity is increasing in the world. The power supply share of renewable energy generation is currently increasing and will require a large amount of power supply. However, renewable energy generation will cause large power fluctuations, which will affect the charging efficiency and security of the power system. Improving the prediction accuracy of renewable energy generation can effectively control and reduce power fluctuations in power supply. In this paper, the method based on convolutional neural network (CNN) and bi-directional long-term and short-term memory (BiLSTM) is applied to wind power generation prediction using the past time-series data sets. Experimental results on 12 different really world datasets show that the proposed model can reduce the prediction error by up to 77.8% compared with CNN-LSTM.

An improved custom convolutional neural network based hand sign recognition using machine learning algorithm

AbstractThe biggest challenge the deaf and dumb group faces is that individuals around them do not understand sign language, which they use to communicate with one another. Written communication is slower than face‐to‐face contact, despite the fact that it can be used. Many sign languages have been developed around the world because they are more effective in emergency situations than text‐based communication. India in‐spite of having the large deaf population of almost 18 million and having only around 250 trained/untrained; skilled interpreters. The proposed system can utilize a custom convolution neural networks (CCNNs) model to identify hand motions in order to resolve this issue. This system uses a filter to process the hand before sending it through a classifier to identify the type of hand movements. CCNN strategy employs two levels of algorithm to predict and evaluate symbols that are increasingly similar to one another in order to get as close to precisely recognizing the symbol presented as possible. Convolutional neural networks (CNNs) are able to precisely identify a variety of gestures after being trained on large datasets of hand sign photographs. As a result of their frequent usage of many layers of filters and pooling to extract relevant information from the input images, these networks can recognize hand signs with an accuracy rate of 99.95%, which is much greater than previously built models like SIGNGRAPH, SVM, KNN, CNN + Bi‐LSTM, 3D‐CNN and 2D CNN network and 1D CNN skeleton network. The simulation result shows that a suggested CCNN‐based learning approach is useful for hand sign detection and future usage research when compared with existing machine learning models.

Performance analysis of genetically optimized 1D-convolutional neural network architecture for rotor system fault detection and diagnosis

Rotor mass imbalance is a critical problem in industries, which can lead to a breakdown or a catastrophic failure if unattended. Hence, Industry 4.0 uses deep learning approaches like convolutional neural network (CNN) for rotor fault detection and diagnosis of Industrial machines and turbomachinery where multifunctional structures are used. In machinery fault diagnosis, manual tuning of CNN hyperparameters is widely used, which is a tedious, time-consuming, and challenging task to achieve effective feature extraction. Additionally, overfitting of CNN during its training is an obstacle to achieving higher prediction accuracy. Hence, to address these issues, this research focuses on multi-class mass imbalance fault diagnosis using genetically optimized deep learning architecture of 1D-CNN to achieve higher diagnosis capability. The performance of the proposed methodology is evaluated through various case studies using experimental data from the in-house developed test rig. The test results are compared against various 1D-CNN architectures in which the hyperparameters and effective dropout layer positioning are genetically optimized. Also, the performance is benchmarked against standard machine learning algorithms. The results show that genetic algorithm (GA)-optimized 1D-CNN with dropout achieves highest fault prediction accuracy of 97.47% with reduced depth of CNN (with three convolution layers) compared to 84.16% of manually tunned CNN architecture (with seven convolutional layers) and outperformed standard machine learning algorithms. Best drop positioning (end of feature extraction part) reduced the learnable parameters to 95.9% with the highest prediction accuracy of 97.47% compared to adding dropout at all the CNN layers. The proposed GA-optimized 1D-CNN with effective dropout positioning eliminates human intervention and reduces the depth of CNN architecture; this, in turn, reduces computational load and time by reducing learnable parameters of CNN (network weights) with the highest prediction accuracy. Hence, the proposed approach shows promise in enhancing the performance and contributing to the advancement of 1D-CNN for rotor system fault detection and diagnosis.

CSAP-UNet: Convolution and self-attention paralleling network for medical image segmentation with edge enhancement

Convolution operation is performed within a local window of the input image. Therefore, convolutional neural network (CNN) is skilled in obtaining local information. Meanwhile, the self-attention (SA) mechanism extracts features by calculating the correlation between tokens from all positions in the image, which has advantage in obtaining global information. Therefore, the two modules can complement each other to improve feature extraction ability. An effective fusion method is a problem worthy of further study. In this paper, we propose a CNN and SA paralleling network CSAP-UNet with U-Net as backbone. The encoder consists of two parallel branches of CNN and Transformer to extract the feature from the input image, which takes into account both the global dependencies and the local information. Because medical images come from certain frequency bands within the spectrum, their color channels are not as uniform as natural images. Meanwhile, medical segmentation pays more attention to lesion regions in the image. Attention fusion module (AFM) integrates channel attention and spatial attention in series to fuse the output features of the two branches. The medical image segmentation task is essentially to locate the boundary of the object in the image. The boundary enhancement module (BEM) is designed in the shallow layer of the proposed network to focus more specifically on pixel-level edge details. Experimental results on three public datasets validate that CSAP-UNet outperforms state-of-the-art networks, particularly on the ISIC 2017 dataset. The cross-dataset evaluation on Kvasir and CVC-ClinicDB shows that CSAP-UNet has strong generalization ability. Ablation experiments also indicate the effectiveness of the designed modules. Prediction of ash content in coal slime flotation based on CNN-BP method with residual estimation

ABSTRACT Ash content is a key metric for assessing coal slime flotation performance. Traditional methods of sampling, combustion, and weighing lead to measurement delays, thus image-based real-time ash prediction during flotation has become meaningful. However, the complex characteristics of the multiphase system in flotation pulp images make the extraction of an effective dataset for ash recognition challenging. This paper introduces an image-based method for predicting ash content in solid-liquid pulp mixtures using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs). A CNN transfer learning method based on ImageNet is proposed, combined with a Backpropagation (BP) residual estimation module with specified feature filters, reducing the sample size requirement. Four classic CNN networks were utilized. Results indicate that introducing the BP residual estimation module improves the CNN network’s prediction accuracy in small samples, with total residuals consistent with the white noise distribution. Notably, the 5% accuracy (absolute error less than 5%) of VGG19 without the CNN classic residual structure improved significantly, reflecting the superior residual estimation of BP and the robust performance of the CNN-BP in predicting pulp ash content. This research offers a new option for transitioning previous dataset collection methods for ash detection in the coal slime flotation process.

A novel multi-scale CNN and Bi-LSTM arbitration dense network model for low-rate DDoS attack detection

Low-rate distributed denial of service attacks, as known as LDDoS attacks, pose the notorious security risks in cloud computing network. They overload the cloud servers and degrade network service quality with the stealthy strategy. Furthermore, this kind of small ratio and pulse-like abnormal traffic leads to a serious data scale problem. As a result, the existing models for detecting minority and adversary LDDoS attacks are insufficient in both detection accuracy and time consumption. This paper proposes a novel multi-scale Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and bidirectional Long-short Term Memory (bi-LSTM) arbitration dense network model (called MSCBL-ADN) for learning and detecting LDDoS attack behaviors under the condition of limited dataset and time consumption. The MSCBL-ADN incorporates CNN for preliminary spatial feature extraction and embedding-based bi-LSTM for time relationship extraction. And then, it employs arbitration network to re-weigh feature importance for higher accuracy. At last, it uses 2-block dense connection network to perform final classification. The experimental results conducted on popular ISCX-2016-SlowDos dataset have demonstrated that the proposed MSCBL-ADN model has a significant improvement with high detection accuracy and superior time performance over the state-of-the-art models.

Emergency sign language recognition from variant of convolutional neural network (CNN) and long short term memory (LSTM) models

Sign language is the primary communication tool used by the deaf community and people with speaking difficulties, especially during emergencies. Numerous deep learning models have been proposed to solve the sign language recognition problem. Recently. Bidirectional LSTM (BLSTM) has been proposed and used in replacement of Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) as it may improve learning long-team dependencies as well as increase the accuracy of the model. However, there needs to be more comparison for the performance of LSTM and BLSTM in LRCN model architecture in sign language interpretation applications. Therefore, this study focused on the dense analysis of the LRCN model, including 1) training the CNN from scratch and 2) modeling with pre-trained CNN, VGG-19, and ResNet50. Other than that, the ConvLSTM model, a special variant of LSTM designed for video input, has also been modeled and compared with the LRCN in representing emergency sign language recognition. Within LRCN variants, the performance of a small CNN network was compared with pre-trained VGG-19 and ResNet50V2. A dataset of emergency Indian Sign Language with eight classes is used to train the models. The model with the best performance is the VGG-19 + LSTM model, with a testing accuracy of 96.39%. Small LRCN networks, which are 5 CNN subunits + LSTM and 4 CNN subunits + BLSTM, have 95.18% testing accuracy. This performance is on par with our best-proposed model, VGG + LSTM. By incorporating bidirectional LSTM (BLSTM) into deep learning models, the ability to understand long-term dependencies can be improved. This can enhance accuracy in reading sign language, leading to more effective communication during emergencies.

Convolutional neural network intelligent fault diagnosis method for rotating machinery based on discriminant correlation analysis multi-domain feature fusion strategy

Aiming at solving the problems of limited training data, single input information, and limited diagnostic accuracy under the influence of strong background noise in fault diagnosis of rotating machinery, this paper proposes a fault diagnosis method based on the combination of discriminant correlation analysis (DCA) and convolutional neural network (CNN). Firstly, the original vibration signal is divided into several segments in the time domain, and the training data is directly processed by one CNN branch to extract multi-scale time domain features. Simultaneously, the divided data is subjected to discrete wavelet transform (DWT), and processed by another branch of CNN to extract multi-scale time-frequency features. Then, the DCA feature fusion mechanism is adopted to fuse the two-domain features extracted in the parallel branches to improve the model’ detection ability. Finally, the fused features are input into the deep CNN for training and learning to extract new features and output the classification results. Through the experimental analysis of two different types of data, the results show that the proposed method can be used for fault diagnosis of rotating machinery effectively. Compared with the single CNN network, the proposed method combines the multi-domain multi-scale feature extraction module with the DCA feature fusion module to enrich the feature information extraction ability. At the same time, the network performance is improved to get higher fault classification accuracy higher.

Exploring optimal pathways for enterprise procurement management systems based on fast neural modeling and semantic segmentation

Corporate procurement management assumes a pivotal role within the contemporary business landscape, yet confronts an array of challenges as markets continue to evolve and globalize. Conventional procurement management systems frequently grapple with issues of inefficiency, resource depletion, and noncompliance, necessitating the exploration of innovative avenues for optimization. This paper delves into the realm of risk mitigation associated with collusion behavior in the administration of intelligent procurement systems, presenting a novel procurement collusion identification model founded on a convolutional neural network (CNN) with reinforcement learning techniques. This framework commences with the application of a CNN and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) network for in-depth feature analysis and initial identification of historical procurement data, subsequently leveraging reinforcement learning methodologies to enhance the model's autonomy and intelligence for the purpose of optimization. Throughout the experimental phase, diverse domains of procurement data were meticulously selected for analysis. The empirical findings unequivocally demonstrate the model's proficiency, with an average recognition accuracy of 95.1% across five publicly available datasets. This performance surpasses existing machine learning methodologies employed in contemporary research and common recognition networks, thereby offering a pioneering reference point for the intelligent administration and optimization of future procurement systems.

Air Traffic Controller Fatigue Detection by Applying a Dual-Stream Convolutional Neural Network to the Fusion of Radiotelephony and Facial Data

The role of air traffic controllers is to direct and manage highly dynamic flights. Their work requires both efficiency and accuracy. Previous studies have shown that fatigue in air traffic controllers can impair their work ability and even threaten flight safety, which makes it necessary to carry out research into how to optimally detect fatigue in controllers. Compared with single-modality fatigue detection methods, multi-modal detection methods can fully utilize the complementarity between diverse types of information. Considering the negative impacts of contact-based fatigue detection methods on the work performed by air traffic controllers, this paper proposes a novel AF dual-stream convolutional neural network (CNN) architecture that simultaneously extracts controller radio telephony fatigue features and facial fatigue features and performs two-class feature-fusion discrimination. This study designed two independent convolutional processes for facial images and radio telephony data and performed feature-level fusion of the extracted radio telephony and facial image features in the fully connected layer, with the fused features transmitted to the classifier for fatigue state discrimination. The experimental results show that the detection accuracy of radio telephony features under a single modality was 62.88%, the detection accuracy of facial images was 96.0%, and the detection accuracy of the proposed AF dual-stream CNN network architecture reached 98.03% and also converged faster. In summary, a dual-stream network architecture based on facial data and radio telephony data is proposed for fatigue detection that is faster and more accurate than the other methods assessed in this study.

Carbon trading price forecasting based on parameter optimization VMD and deep network CNN–LSTM model

To meet carbon peak and neutrality targets, accurate carbon trading price forecasting is very important for enterprises making emission reduction decisions. By fusing convolutional neural network (CNN) and long short-term memory network (LSTM), the CNN–LSTM model is constructed. After variational mode decomposition (VMD), several intrinsic mode functions (IMFs) components are obtained and input into the CNN–LSTM model, thus constructing the combined sooty tern optimization algorithm (STOA)–VMD–CNN–LSTM forecasting model. To test this model, the carbon trading prices of the carbon emission trading markets of Hubei, Guangdong and Shenzhen were forecast. The prediction performance of the STOA–VMD–CNN–LSTM model is compared with ARIMA, BP, CNN and LSTM benchmark models and models combining different decomposition technologies. The international carbon trading price (EUR and CER) is used for prediction. Compared with other methods, the developed model makes fewer errors and achieves superior performance. Several important implications are provided for investors and risk managers involved in carbon financial products.

Automated detection of fatal cerebral haemorrhage in postmortem CT data.

During the last years, the detection of different causes of death based on postmortem imaging findings became more and more relevant. Especially postmortem computed tomography (PMCT) as a non-invasive, relatively cheap, and fast technique is progressively used as an important imaging tool for supporting autopsies. Additionally, previous works showed that deep learning applications yielded robust results for in vivo medical imaging interpretation. In this work, we propose a pipeline to identify fatal cerebral haemorrhage on three-dimensional PMCT data. We retrospectively selected 81 PMCT cases from the database of our institute, whereby 36 cases suffered from a fatal cerebral haemorrhage as confirmed by autopsy. The remaining 45 cases were considered as neurologically healthy. Based on these datasets, six machine learning classifiers (k-nearest neighbour, Gaussian naive Bayes, logistic regression, decision tree, linear discriminant analysis, and support vector machine) were executed and two deep learning models, namely a convolutional neural network (CNN) and a densely connected convolutional network (DenseNet), were trained. For all algorithms, 80% of the data was randomly selected for training and 20% for validation purposes and a five-fold cross-validation was executed. The best-performing classification algorithm for fatal cerebral haemorrhage was the artificial neural network CNN, which resulted in an accuracy of 0.94 for all folds. In the future, artificial neural network algorithms may be applied by forensic pathologists as a helpful computer-assisted diagnostics tool supporting PMCT-based evaluation of cause of death.
