The image Making of the Future Physical Culture Teacher in Kazakhstan

The rapid development of science and technology, socio-economic and cultural changes taking place in modern society put the task of training highly qualified and competitive future physical education teachers on the agenda. The purpose of the study: to cover the issues of the system of image making of the future physical culture teacher in Kazakhstan. To achieve the purpose of the study, the following methods were used: analysis, comparative analysis, retrospective analysis, synthesis, comparison, the study of one's own teaching experience; systematisation and generalisation; abstraction and classification. The image making of the future physical culture teacher in Kazakhstan acquires effectiveness under the following pedagogical conditions: the content of professional disciplines, considering the specific features of health and recreational activities; organisation of professional training using active teaching methods, innovative information and communication technologies and subjective interaction of the teacher and student; integration of theory, practice, and research activities of the future physical education teacher during the practice and organisation of students' research work. The paper focuses on the main provisions of the concept of future physical education teachers' professional training for recreational activities. Developing the author's system of forming the image of the future teacher of physical culture, the authors proceeded from the fact that it is the model that allows describing the pedagogical system most fully and accurately. The system contains five blocks that allow structuring and specifying purposes, objectives, methodological approaches, principles, content of structural components, forms, methods, tools, stages, functions, pedagogical conditions, criteria, indicators, levels, and results. The system developed by the authors is dynamic and can be implemented during the adaptation, training, professional and analytical and correctional stages. Higher Education as a Space for Forming the Values of United Europe

The research is focused on the role of higher education in the development of European values among applicants for higher education, in particular the role of international projects that contribute to active European citizenship and spread the fundamental values of the European Union. The article uses the method of modeling and substantiation of the model of the development of European values among future PhDs during a Jean Monnet Module of the Erasmus+ program called “University autonomy in the development of democratic values in higher education: The experience of the EU Member states for Ukraine” at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University. The model contains four structural blocks that specify the goal, tasks, methodological approaches, principles, content of structural components, forms, methods, means, stages, functions, pedagogical conditions, and expected results. The study is aimed at developing European values in graduate students as young scientists and teachers of higher education institutions – who will become agents of qualitative changes and help establish the principles of democracy in the academic community – and deepening European integration. The results of the study are presented in the broad public discourse of Ukraine, confirmed by the data of sociological studies on European integration in Ukrainian citizens’ value orientations, accelerated by the large-scale russian military invasion of Ukraine. Since sociological studies indicate a certain fragmentation of European values instead of an integral whole in the perception of the respondents, we believe that institutions of higher education themselves are an important element that builds the state and society on the basis of European values and that international projects implemented at universities contribute to the European integration of Ukraine and the formation of the values of a united Europe in young citizens.

Physical and chemical properties of three wild almond wood species grown in Zagros forests

In this study, the physical properties (oven-dry density, basic density, volumetric shrinkage, and swelling) and structural components (cellulose, lignin, and extractives content) of three wild almond wood species from southwestern Iran, namely Amygdalus arabica, Amygdalus eburna, and Amygdalus scoparia, were investigated. Wild almond is a valuable wood species in the Zagros forests of Iran, but there is a lack of data on their wood properties. Three adult trees of each species were chosen, and samples were prepared from the breast height diameter to measure the focal properties. Results of analysis of variance (ANOVA) showed that the wood species had a significant effect on the wood density and volumetric shrinkage. Maximum oven-dry density and volumetric shrinkage of wood were identified in Amygdalus scoparia. The highest and lowest content of structural components were found in Amygdalus scoparia and Amygdalus arabica wood species, respectively. A deep understanding of the almond wood characteristics will provide a fresh insight into the relationship between the properties and conservation of these special, as well as applications of their wood.

Study of the Structural-Phase State of Pipeline Welded Metal

The issues of research of structural changes as applied to welded joints of steam pipelines are considered. The results of metallographic analysis of structural changes in the metal of steam pipelines are presented. There was carried out the analysis for a number of samples cut from different sections of the steam line at different operating time under creep and low-cycle fatigue conditions. In the analyzing process of the images of micro sections, the relative content of the structural-phase components and their distribution in the metal were revealed. A comparative analysis of the statistical characteristics of the distribution and the relative content of structural components for different sections of the metal of welded joints with different operating time is carried out. A scientifically substantiated description of structural changes in the metal of various sections of samples of welded joints is given, as well as the possibility of extending the service life of elements of steam pipelines with a degraded structure and the presence of damageability. The most promising, in the opinion of the authors, directions of further research of samples to provide conditions for extending the service life of steam pipelines have been formulated and substantiated.

Methods of Formation of the Students-Mathematicians’ Readyness to Study Mathematical Disciplines

The introduction to the article analyzes the current state of formation of the students-mathematicians’ readiness to study mathematical disciplines. The purpose of the study is to develop and scientifically substantiate the method of forming the students-mathematicians’ readiness to study mathematical disciplines. Methods. In the process of achieving the goal, the theoretical and practical methods of data retrieval and processing were applied. The results. The analysis of the researched problem gave an opportunity to characterize the essence of the concept «students-mathematicians’ readiness to study mathematical disciplines». The students-mathematicians’ readiness to study mathematical disciplines was defined as the result of mathematical training of a prospective university student, that is a necessary condition for forming the mathematical competence of graduates of pedagogical universities. The article defines the content of structural components of the formation of the students-mathematicians’ readiness to study mathematical disciplines: motivational-value (presence of motives and needs in studying mathematics, awareness of the mathematical knowledge value for future professional activity), semantic (mathematical knowledge of school mathematics required to master basic mathematics knowledge of generalized methods of solving typical professional problems), instrumental (universal actions of generalized methods of solving typical professional problems that require the mathematical knowledge use), personal (communicative, creative abilities and personal qualities needed to solve typical professional problems). The didactic principles of forming the students-mathematicians’ readiness to study mathematical disciplines are the principles of cooperation, of professional orientation, fundamentality, modularity of the mathematical training content. Conclusions. The methods of formation of the students-mathematicians’ readiness to study mathematical disciplines which contains interrelation of target, methodological, substantial, procedural and result-estimating components is developed. The prospects for further research are planned in the direction of the developed methodology implementation into the educational process of pedagogical universities for students-mathematicians.

РОЗВИТОК МУЗИКАЛЬНОСТІ ОСОБИСТОСТІ ЯК ПРОБЛЕМА НАУКОВО-ПЕДАГОГІЧНОГО ЗНАННЯ

The article deals with the phenomenon of musicality in the psychological, pedagogical, aesthetic and musicological dimensions.Three main theoretical principles were chosen for consideration: 1) comparison of the essence of musicality with the concept of special musical abilities; it allows to define mechanisms of interrelation of the phenomena that is necessary for diagnosing specificity of talent of the young person towards musical creativity; 2) functioning of musicality in the context of various types of musical activities, especially musical perception and performance; the author relies on the idea of psychology on the conditionality of personality development by specific activities and motivation for it and focuses on the manifestation of musicality during the decoding of the meanings of the musical text and stage performance as the embodiment of the idea; positioning of musicality as an instrument of musical thinking and formation of the person’s musical and aesthetic consciousness, which corresponds to the nature of music as art of intoned meaning that unfolds over time.The author’s interpretation of musicality as a syncretic personal phenomenon is proposed, which is integral to the complex of musical abilities, the specificity of which is determined by the procedural nature of music, and the target of which is the musical culture of the individual and the ability to influence the culture. It is proved that the integrator is the person’s ability to emotionally experience the means of musical expression and decode the meanings of the musical work during the creation of the individual interpretation. The content of structural components (constructs) of musicality such as emotional-motivational, operational-activity, artistic-communicative, cognitive-reflexive is defined and described.The novelty of the article is the theoretical projection of the essence of musicality on diagnosing the students’ musical talent and building learning strategies, which requires the development in future of pedagogical mechanisms (methods, technologies) of the students’ complex musical development.

The estimation of structural component contents in lead silicate glasses

The contents of structural components in lead silicate glasses were determined by the X-ray electron spectroscopy and thermodynamic analysis methods. Lead silicate glasses were described as solid solutions of lead and silicon oxides and lead silicates. The thermodynamic properties of metastable lead silicates were estimated. Thermal treatment in an inert or oxidizing atmosphere led to identical glass structures. High-lead glasses are based on metastable lead-oxygen structures containing 3–7 lead atoms. Such structures are absent in crystalline silicates.

Comparison of morphology and microstructural components of hepatic portal vein between human and pig

In order to provide morphological data and theoretical basis for pig-to-human hepatic xenotransplantation, the difference in morphological parameters and vessel wall structural factors between human and porcine hepatic portal vein was studied. From human subjects and pigs of varying ages, hepatic portal veins were collected, paraffin-embedded and cut into sections. The histological structures were stained with HE, and elastin, collagen and smooth muscles were stained with Weigert, Aniline blue and orange G, respectively. Morphological parameters and relative contents of structural components were determined under microscopy and by computer image analysis system, respectively. The results showed that histological structures of human and porcine hepatic portal vein wall were similar. Caliber, wall thickness, lumen and wall area in pigs increased with age, all in linear correlation to months. Morphological parameters of 6- month-old pigs were similar to those of human. In pigs, collagen content increased gradually with months, elastin content remained relatively stable, smooth muscle content reached the peak at the 3rd month, and collagen/elastin (C/E) rose gradually. The contents of collagen and elastin in porcine hepatic portal vein wall were lower, while the content of smooth muscle was higher than in human, and C/E at the 5th and 6th month was similar to that in human. It is concluded that morphological parameters and contents of structural components of porcine hepatic portal vein vary with age. At the 6 month, its caliber, wall thickness, lumen and wall area are similar to those of human. There are differences in contents of structural components between human and pigs. However, in terms of C/E, mechanic properties of pigs at the 5th and 6th month mimic those of human, hence inosculation is viable in xenotrans-plantation between pigs and human.

Decomposition of roots of three plant communities in a Dutch salt marsh

Results of the first published study on root decomposition in a West European salt marsh are presented. In situ decomposition of roots of Spartinetum, Puccinellietum and Halimionetum communities were investigated using litter bags. Both the temporal pattern of decomposition and decomposition rate of belowground tissues of the three communities differed during 30 weeks in the marsh; Puccinellietum root litter lost 30–45% ash-free dry weight, Halimionetum root litter 17–26% and Spartinetum root litter 7–17%. Compared to aboveground decomposition in salt marshes these rates are low, however they are in the range of results reported for American and Australian salt marshes. Decomposition rates of root material buried at depths of 10 and 20 cm differed and there was a community × depth interaction. Initial content of structural components was highest in Halimionetum root litter and lowest in Puccinellietum root litter. Integrated soil temperature was highest in the Puccinellietum habitat, while flooding frequency was lowest in the Halimionetum habitat. Results indicate that environmental conditions can cause irregular fluctuations in belowground decomposition rates.

General Empirical Model for60Co Generation in Pressurized Water Reactors with Continuous Refueling

A simplified model is presented that permits one to calculate the average activity on the fuel elements of a reactor that operates under continuous refueling, based on the assumption of crud interchange between fuel element surface and coolant in the form of particulate material only and using the crud specific activity as an empirical parameter determined in plant. The net activity flux from core to out-of-core components is then calculated in the form of parametric curves depending on crud specific activity and rate of particulate release from fuel surface. In pressure vessel reactors, contribution to out-ofcore radionuclide inventory arising in the release of activated materials from core components must be taken into account. The contribution from in situ activation of core components is calculated from the rates of release and the specific activities corresponding to the exposed surface of the component (calculated in a straightforward way on the basis of core geometry and neutron fluxes). The rates of release can be taken from the literature, or in the case of cobalt-rich alloys, can be calculated from experimentally determined cobalt contents of structural components and crud. For pressure vessel reactors operating under continuous refueling, activation of deposited crud and release ofmore » activated materials are compared; the latter, in certain cases, may represent a sizable (and even the largest) fraction of the total cobalt activity. It is proposed that the ratio of activities of /sup 59/Fe to /sup 54/Mn may be used as a diagnostic tool for in situ activation of structural materials; available data indicate ratios close to unity for pressure tube heavy water reactors (no in situ activation) and ratios around 4 to 10 for pressure vessel, heavy water reactors.« less
