In 1998, librarians at the Sharp Library, Cooper Hospital/University Medical Center, began work on a Web page intended for use as a teaching tool for a “Consumer Health Resources on the Web” class. Including both resources and teaching tips, the page has been expanded and revised numerous times as it has been used to support a variety of additional classes. It has become indispensable for providing library services at Cooper, since it is also used on a daily basis to provide patient education materials for patients and staff.
