A New Reform of Mining Production and Management Modes under Industry 4.0: Cloud Mining Mode

In the context of Industry 4.0, using a new generation of information technology to activate and transform traditional industries will maintain the long-term competitiveness of traditional industries. The mining industry is also going through the process of informatization transformation. Through a literature survey, we analyze the current situation and challenges faced by mine production and operation management. Many mining companies are expanding in scale, but their operation and management methods are inefficient, and their business processes and organizational management methods need to be reformed. We propose a new mode named CM mode (cloud mining mode). We define this as integrating the core business of the mine (such as production and operation management, mining technology, planning services, etc.) into the cloud through effective use of cloud technologies, cloud resources, and cloud services. A large number of human and intellectual resources move to the cloud. A new mode of operation and management of mining industry clusters is thus formed; it is open, cooperative, and coordinated. We present five elements of the CM mode: data resources, digital technologies, digital talents, cloud business form, and cloud cooperation mode. We establish a “cloud–edge–terminal” technical framework of the CM mode, and describe its technical characteristics. We also describe three main application scenarios of the CM mode, and highlight the development path and key points of construction. The CM mode highlights a new development direction for the production and management of intelligent mines, and is of great significance for giving full play to the value of intelligent construction.

Research and application of large diameter steel cylinder island construction technology in Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge project

ABSTRACT The large diameter deep inserted steel cylinder is used for the first time in the artificial island project of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. Through the ingenious conception of the scheme of large diameter deep inserted steel cylinder, this paper analyzes the working mechanism, design key points and construction key points of large diameter deep inserted steel cylinder structure, and introduces the research and application of large diameter deep inserted steel cylinder technology in foundation pit support engineering of East–West artificial island of Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge. Two arc-shaped steel plate auxiliary grids are used to connect and seal the adjacent cylinders. The arc steel plate can be manufactured in the factory and transported to the site for construction, which greatly reduces the construction difficulty and material cost. The formed cofferdam Island wall has good water stop performance and good structural stability.

Study on the Application Technique of Vertical Pre-stressed Anchor Retaining Earth Wall in Landslide Field

Based on the landslide treatment project of the highway in Tai-hang mountain region, the mechanism of one particular small sliding slope has been analyzed. By using the methods of engineering geophysical prospecting and geological prospecting, it has been confirmed that the landslide is a traction-extended shallow gravel landslide. Due to the principle of minimum cost and operational, the pre-stressed anchor retaining wall has been proposed to treat this kind of land sliding. The pre-stressed anchor in the basement could have the slope sliding force been balanced, which it would significantly reduce the working amount. Also, it could cost much less than other options. The design thought has been analysed in the paper, along with the introduction of the construction key points and techniques. Affection of the treatment turned out well, which indicates that it is a good example for treating similar geological disasters.

Design and Construction without Deformation Joint of a 15,000 Square Meters Huge Concrete Non-beam Floor-slab Structure

Combined with an engineering practice, this article analyzes the selection of concrete floor structural scheme, through qualitative or quantitative analysis and comparison among composite structure, non-beam structure and grid-beam structure in three aspects including schedule, cost and operating requirements. It introduces the no deformation joint design of the practice, which is a huge concrete non-beam floor structure of 15,000 square meters, by comprehensively applying post-pouring band, expansion reinforcing band, shrinkage-compensating concrete and non-bonding pre-stressed. According to the practice, the paper also summarizes the construction key-points in some aspects covering construction organization, concrete mixproportion, construction process, shrinkage-compensating concrete and un-bonded pre-stressed works.

The Application of Mud-water Balance Method Pipe Jacking in Jinzhong Road ((Amoy Circular Road (ACR) Main Road—ACR Eastern Section)) Reconstruction Project

In the Jinzhong Road (ACR Main Road - ACR Eastern Section) Reconstruction Project in start up area of Xiamen Cross-strait Financial Centre, mud-water balance method was adopted and successfully jacked 2.4m diameter double-hole jacking pipes for 558m. This essay demonstrates the design of pipe jacking in this project and key points of construction and management, which accrues experience for large-diameter pipe jacking under Xiamen specific geological condition in the future.

Controlling the energy of colliding electron-positron beams on the VEPP-2000 accelerator complex

The issues of control automation of the VEPP-2000 electron-positron complex (a new, large physical facility developed at the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics, Novosibirsk and constructed and put into operation in Russia in the 20th century) are considered on the example of one of the main procedures for achieving the design parameters of a physical facility — changing the energy of accumulated and colliding beams. An approach to developing the automation system of a large physical facility is proposed, and the key points of construction of the architecture of this system as a whole and its individual subsystems are discussed.

The Comparison and Selection of the Solutions for Liuyang River Tunnel’s Inclined Shaft Entering to the Main Hole and the Key Points of Construction

The construction geological condition is complex in the transition section from the inclined shaft to the main hole. There are two kinds of construction schemes. After the comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of the two different construction schemes, it has selected the construction scheme of the rectangular pilot tunnel vertical to the main hole. This paper solve the construction problem of the transition section from the inclined shaft to the main hole of large cross section tunnel of passenger dedicated line under complicated geological conditions. According to the previous research results, the method can be used to large-cross section tunnel. The scaffold design and auxiliary construction measures is detailed. Compared with the expected duration, it completed the transition construction ahead of time with the speed superior to the ones of other similar works, and forming a safe and efficient construction situation.

Application of Vacuum Preloading for Soft Foundation Treatment in Grain Storage

The application of vacuum preloading for soft foundation treatment in grain storage is introduced from its principle，design，construction and the inspections. Its obvious effect is proved by example. The east coast of China is the most developed economical area and major grain and oil manufacturers. Many grain and oil depots have been established. However, in the places where the depots located, soil is soft dirt with low strength grade, high compressibility, small permeability and high possibility of plastic flow, has increased difficulties of grain and oil depots foundation construction. Without enough knowledge of soft soil and lacking of proper foundation construction method and good technology, depots may slip due to foundation’s erosion, and big settlement. If the structure slips, equipments for aeration, dehumidifier, antivirus equipment cannot work well. Based on the statement above, reasonable and effective methods for soft soil foundation work is the key point for construction of high quality and high standard grain and oil depots. This paper mainly discussed when we do depots construction work on the soft soil foundation, exact calculation, construction method and result test of fasten method for the soft foundation under the vacuum circumstance of preloading.

The Optimum Microstructure of Reheated X80 Bend Pipes

Bend pipes are key points in construction of pipeline. The world well known second west east pipeline project will use X80 pipeline steel in whole line. So the study on X80 grade bend pipe is very important and timely. Here , a series of experiment were done to optimize the microstructure of X80 bend pipes, and corresponding reheating technics were studied. By compare with current standard used in china, the CVN toughness and shearing area and strength were discussed. By this research, the optimum reheating program for X80 grade bend pipes were gained.

Construction Technology of Shallow Pipe- Jacking Working Shaft

During the pipe jacking construction, the bearing plates of jack need the support of great reactive force which is provided by the side-wall of the working shaft and the soil mass behind the wall. In the shallow pipe-jacking working shaft, the soil mass only can provide limited reactive force due to the small height of the soil mass behind the side-wall, which becomes the difficult point in the design and construction of the shallow pipe-jacking working shaft. This thesis takes the actual projects for the examples to introduce the construction technology of shallow pipe-jacking working shaft in details, including the construction key points like pre-grouting injection consolidation, ring beam construction method as well as reverse construction method.
