CLASSROOM ACTİON RESEARCH-MAKING TRAİNİNG IN SMPN 14 BANJARBARU. Classroom Action Research is practical research intended to improve classroom learning. This research is one of the efforts of teachers or practitioners in the form of various activities carried out to improve and or improve the quality of learning in the classroom. Classroom Action Research can be interpreted as a process of studying learning problems in the classroom through self-reflection to solve these problems by carrying out various planned actions in real situations and analyzing any effects of the treatment. Classroom Action Research is one of the scientific publications in the context of sustainable teacher professional development aimed at improving and improving the quality of learning processes and outcomes or the quality of education in general. The article describes the implementation of Classroom Action Research Assistance Activities and Scientific Article Writing at SMPN 14 Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan. This activity is important because it can stimulate the creativity of teachers to conduct Classroom Action Research. The benefit of this activity is that teachers become more and more skilled in choosing or making appropriate learning methods for their students from time to time. Another impact of this activity can certainly improve teacher careers to a higher level.

MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERBICARA BAHASA INGGRIS SISWA MELALUI PENGAJARAN BAHASA KOMUNIKATIF UNTUK TINGKAT PEMULA DI DESA INGGRIS SINGOSARI MALANG

Speaking is one of the most difficult talent to master in everyday life and be the second language skills in Indonesia which everyone requires it to communicate with others to express facts, thinking, and message between two or more people. The students’ of Desa Inggris Singosari Malang namely Be a Trainer program who are still in the beginner level get some difficulties in Speaking skill. As a result, the researcher uses Communicative Language Teaching approach which aim to repair all the problem and improve the students’ speaking skill. The type of researcher is Classroom Action Research (CAR). During the implementation of Communicative Language Teaching approach, it shown that the students’ motivation was increased and shown significant progress during the research. This research was carried out in two cycles. The researcher also suggested that the future researcher conduct experimental research to find the differences between the communicative language teaching approach with the other approach in teaching speaking, and more. The researcher also suggested that the future researcher conduct classroom action research to know whether the implementation of communicative language teaching in teaching speaking for the students in the different levels has the same benefit.

Upaya Mengenalkan Hadits Pada Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Melalui Metode Gerakan Tangan

The lack of teacher ability in using the method causes children to have difficulty remembering the hadith that has been taught. The author conducted classroom action research (CAR) introducing hadith through the hand movement method carried out at RA Ar-Rohmah Serang City on 7 children’s. CAR was carried out in 2 cycles using the Kemmis and MC Taggart models and was descriptive qualitative. The results of the CAR carried out obtained 66,07% in cycle 1 with the criteria of Developing According to Expectations (DAE) and in the second cycle it rose to 86,16% with the criteria of Very Good Development (VGD), thus the hand movement method can improve children’s ability to recognize hadith.

Assistance In The Implementation of Sustainable Professional Development (PKB) For Elementary School Teachers In Malalak District, Agam Regency

Improving the quality and relevance of education is influenced by several factors. One of them that affects is the quality of the learning process carried out by teachers in the classroom and or at school.. Therefore, a teacher who has high qualifications, competence, and dedication is needed in carrying out his professional duties. However, there are some teachers in Malalak District, Agam Regency who have not tried to develop their profession, and do not even know what PKB is. Observing these findings, lecturers in the Education Administration Department of FIP UNP who are members of the service team provide assistance to solve these various problems. In addition, also accompanying the teacher to conduct Classroom Action Research (CAR). Therefore, it is deemed necessary to assist the service team from the Department of Educational Administration FIP UNP carried out through workshops, focus group discussions (FGD), improvement of classroom learning, and preparation of learning improvement reports in the form of CAR. This PKM will later produce a product for each participant, namely a learning design, proposal, instrument and CAR report. and will also be published in the mass media and will be uploaded on Youtube. Upaya Guru Dalam Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Siswa TK Melalui Penerapan Ice Breaking pada Pembelajaran Daring

In online learning, teachers are required to remain professional in designing learning. It is expected that teachers can increase online learning so that students are motivated to learn. However, in fact, when the author conducted a practicum in one of the kindergartens in Kupang city on 7 July - 27 August 2021, it was found that the behavior of students' learning motivation was low. The behavior of the students that appeared were yawning, sitting back lazily, putting their head on the table, and communicating with people at home, so they didn't pay attention to the teacher. Therefore, the purpose of writing this paper is to examine the efforts of teachers in increasing the learning motivation of kindergarten students to learn online, using descriptive qualitative methods. Teachers as motivators can motivate students through the application of ice breaking. The results of this research show that the application of ice breaking can increase students' motivation in learning. It was concluded that the teacher's efforts to motivate students through ice breaking had a positive impact on students' learning motivation. For further researchers, it is recommended to conduct classroom action research, to get more measurable results.

Evaluation of Pengenalan Tipografi 2021/2022 Course’s Hybrid Learning Format

<p>As limitations of the physical classes because of the COVID-19 pandemic started to subdue, Universitas Pelita Harapan attempts to conduct Pengenalan Tipografi in a hybrid learning format. To measure the effectiveness of the hybrid learning format and the syllabus’s adjustments due to the shift in format, the author conducted classroom action research to evaluate the conduct of the hybrid learning format in the 2021/2022 academic year. The data used to assess the class is a combination of qualitative and quantitative data, such as the final grades, scores of each assignment, surveys, and interviews. The study shows that the conduct of the 2021/2022 academic year is considered successful as the students receive an overall mean of B-, and 77% of the students who participated in the survey gave the hybrid format learning a 4.27 out of 5 scores.</p>

MODEL PEMBELAJARAN COOPERATIVE LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MINAT DAN KREATIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA KELAS KHUSUS

Every learning process has its own challenges, one of which is due to the conditions and learning programs pursued by students. For example in the special class ASIFA foundation in collaboration with SMAN 7 Malang. There is a special class of soccer athletes studying at the school, namely in class XI IPS 6. Students in the class have programs in the field of sports that are quite high. Meanwhile, the results of observations and interviews indicate that the development of learning innovations through models and types of media is still not much developed by teachers. The impact, there are symptoms of low interest and lack of creativity in students. Therefore, researchers try to address these problems by conducting classroom action research using Jigsaw models accompanied by comic-making activities in the learning process. The results show that the level of student interest in learning and creativity has increased. In cycle one, there was an average increase of interest of 62%. Meanwhile, in the second cycle there was an increase in interest on average by 74%.

Pengembangan Profesionalitas Guru Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan Melalui Tindakan Reflektif

This study aimed to describe the process, the effort, and the benefits of reflective actions of Pancasila and Civic Education teachers in developing professional competencies. The research utilized a qualitative approach with phenomenology—the data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Reflection activities should be carried out by the teacher continuously with learning. The benefits of reflection activities carried out by teachers were knowing problems when planning, implementing, assessing, guiding, and educating, as well as carrying out additional tasks. Efforts to improve the professional competence of teachers were conducting classroom action research and improving skills along with the times. Professional teachers should carry out classroom action research to improve the learning process in the classroom, career support, and new knowledge about scientific work. Teachers were required to keep up with the times by learning from various sources to utilize technology to increase students' learning activeness.

Peningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam penyusunan proposal penelitian tindakan kelas bagi Guru SD Perumnas 1 Kota Kupang

The workshop training objectives are to improve teachers' ability to prepare proposals and classroom action research (CAR). This activity was carried out in SD Perumnas 1 Kupang City. This training is expected to benefit teachers, especially teachers, to be more motivated in conducting classroom action research. In addition, this training is used to develop and improve the quality of learning by using one of the methods, models, approaches, and related learning strategies to achieve the expected learning outcomes. CAR is beneficial for teachers to improve the quality of the process and learning outcomes in the classroom. By carrying out the CAR stages, teachers can find solutions to problems that arise in their class, not someone else's, by applying various creatively relevant theories and learning techniques. In addition, to applied research, besides the teacher carrying out his primary task of teaching in the classroom, there is no need to leave the students. So CAR is research that raises the actual problems teachers face in the field. By implementing CAR, the teacher has a dual role: practitioner and researcher.

PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS X MIPA 2 SMAN 1 MALANG DENGAN PEMBELAJARAN TEAM GAME TOURNAMENT

This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). Student learning outcomes that do not meet classical completeness, lack of mutual assistance between students in understanding the subject matter together are the reasons researchers conduct classroom action research. With the hope of increasing students' understanding of the subject matter of chemistry, especially on the subject of Chemical Bonds. In an effort to solve the problem, the researchers chose to apply the TGT type of cooperative learning. Class X students of SMAN 1 Malang are the subjects of this study, with a total of 30 students. Data were taken using tests and observation sheets. At the end of each cycle an evaluation is held to obtain data on chemistry learning outcomes. In addition, data on student performance (psychomotor sheets), student activities (affective sheets) and the teacher's performance during learning took place. Success in this study has an indicator if the class average value is 80 with a classical completeness percentage of 80%. Prior to the implementation of TGT type cooperative learning, the students' achievement in Chemistry with the subject of Chemical Bonds had an average of 62.68 with classical completeness of 63.33%. The average value of the first cycle is 70.50 with classical completeness 73.30%, the average value of the second cycle is 81.50 with classical completeness 86.67% and the average value of the third cycle is 88.25 with classical completeness 90.00% . In each cycle shows an increase in learning outcomes

Retrieval Practices Enhance Computational and Scientific Thinking Skills.

The notion of teaching experts’ habits of mind (e.g., computational thinking and scientific thinking) to novices seems to have inspired many educators and researchers worldwide. In particular, a great deal of efforts has been invested in computational thinking (CT) and its manifestations in different fields. However, there remain some troubling spots in CT education as far as how to teach it at different levels of education. The same argument applies to teaching scientific thinking (ST) skills. A remedy has been suggested to narrow CT and ST skillsets down to core cognitive competencies so they can be introduced in early and middle grades and continue to be nurtured during secondary and post-secondary years. Neuroscientists suggest that the act of (computational) thinking is strongly linked to the acts of information storage/retrieval by our brain. Plus, years of research have shown that retrieval practices promote not only knowledge retention but also inductive reasoning and deductive reasoning. Not surprisingly, these reasoning skills are core elements of both CT and ST skillsets. This article will mesh the findings of a teacher professional development with the existing literature to lay a claim that retrieval practices enhance CT and ST skills. The study offered training to secondary school teachers (n = 275) who conducted classroom action research to measure the impact of retrieval practices on teaching and learning of STEM and CT concepts. We used a quasi-experimental research design with purposeful sampling and a sequential mixed-methods approach focusing on the impact of professional development on teacher outcomes and, in turn, on student outcomes. A survey of teacher participants showed that the majority (96%) of survey respondents (n = 232) reported a good understanding of retrieval strategies, and how relevant ideas can be implemented and tested in the classroom. A large number of action research (target-control) studies by teachers (n = 122) showed that students who learned STEM and CS concepts through retrieval practices consistently scored 5–30% higher than those using the usual blocked practice. In most cases, the difference was statistically significant (p < 0.05). While the study contributes to retrieval practices literature, those looking for best practices to teach core CT and ST skills should benefit from it the most. The study concludes with some recommendations for future research based on the limitations of its current findings.

Peran KKG dalam Penguatan Kompetensi Profesional Guru SD di Gugus Diponegoro Korwilcam Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Karangmoncol Purbalingga

This research is a case study research aimed at analyzing the role of the teacher working group (KKG) in strengthening the professional competence of elementary school teachers in the Diponegoro Cluster Korwilcam Education and Culture Office of Karangmoncol Purbalingga. Data were collected using interview, observation and documentation techniques and then analyzed using three stages, namely data reduction, data display and verification. The results showed that with the various activities carried out by the KKG, the teachers already had the ability to master the material and scientific mindset that supported the subjects they taught, the teachers were able to organize fun learning activities, were able to conduct classroom action research as a reflective effort from the activities. learning that has been held, and able to utilize information and communication technology to organize innovative learning activities.

Meningkatkan Sikap Nasionalisme Siswa dengan Model Contextual Teaching and Learning dalam Pembelajaran PPKN

Nationalism is a very important thing for every Indonesian citizen, including students, because without a sense of Nationalism, a nation will lose its identity. Without a sense of Nationalism a nation will never become a unified whole because they do not feel they belong to each other. Therefore, Nationalism is so important in the life of the nation and state. Problems caused by the low Nationalism Attitude of SMK Negeri 1 Tuban students, which is manifested in their actions, often occur, especially in class XI IL-1. Such as truancy, not respecting differences between friends in terms of religion, ethnicity and culture, looking down on one's own culture, being undisciplined, lack of mutual cooperation, often criticizing each other between students, and a series of problems caused by low attitudes. Nationalism for students. Based on the problems that occurred in class XI IL-1, it was decided to overcome the problem of the low Nationalism Attitude of students in class XI IL-1. The author tries to conduct classroom action research by applying the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model in teaching and learning activities on Civics subjects in class XI IL-1 SMK Negeri 1 Tuban. From the results of this classroom action research, positive results were obtained. In the first cycle, students who reached the minimum completeness criteria reached 88.69% of the total number of students, namely 36. While in the second cycle it reached 100%. This student's Nationalism Attitude Assessment uses observation/observation techniques. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Contextual Teaching And Learning learning model in Civics learning can help in instilling the Nationalism Attitude in class XI IL-1 students of SMK Negeri 1 Tuban in the odd semester of the 2018/2019 academic year.

MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA PEMAHAMAN CERITA DONGENG MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA BERGAMBAR PADA MATA PELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA

The low reading comprehension ability of grade III students of SD Negeri Panyingkiran Tasikmalaya has encouraged researchers to conduct Classroom Action Research (CAR) at the SD. With the formulation of the problem: How to improve learning to read understanding of fairy tales using pictorial media in grade III SD Negeri Panyingkiran? The purpose of this study was to improve the reading comprehension skills of fairy tales by using pictorial media in grade III SD Negeri Panyingkiran. This research method refers to the classroom action research method according to Kemmis &amp; MC Taggart which includes: 1) Planning, 2) Action, 3) Observation, 4) Reflection. This research lasted for two cycles consisting of cycle I and cycle II. The results showed that the ability to read understanding of fairy tales in pre-action reached an average value of 48,84, teh first cyle increased with an average value of 54,41 and the second cycle increased with an average value of 80,76. It can be concluded that the use of pictorial media can improve the process of reading comprehension of fairy tales

WORKSHOP CLASSROOM ACTION RESEARCH UNTUK MENINGKATKAN SEMANGAT MENELITI GURU BIOLOGI SE-PROVINSI JAMBI DIMASA PANDEMI COVID-19

Indonesia has an HDI (Human Development Index) ranked 107 out of 185. This shows that the quality of education in Indonesia has increased but is still quite low. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. Efforts to improve the quality of education is to increase the professionalism of teachers. One of the ways to improve the quality of learning by teachers is through Classroom Action Research (CAR). Based on data from the google form questionnaire distributed, it is known that 50% do not understand about classroom action research. There are even some teachers who have never done CAR. So it is necessary to conduct classroom action research workshops to provide an understanding of CAR to MGMP biology and science teachers throughout Jambi Province. This workshop is carried out online by the Zoom cloud meeting application. Participants consisted of 49 biology teachers, chemistry teachers and science teachers throughout Jambi Province. The results of this service get a positive response from the teacher and increase the teacher's understanding of classroom action research

MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR MATEMATIKA MELALUI MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING DENGAN THINK-PAIR-SHARE PADA SISWA

Mathematics is one of the subjects that plays a very important role in the development of science and technology. Therefore, the government is always trying to make the quality of mathematics education better from time to time. After conducting classroom action research, based on the results of observations and reflections, it can be concluded that: The Discovery Learning Learning Model with Think-Pair-Share can improve students' mathematics learning activities. Improved class students' mathematics learning activities by applying this learning model from cycle I to cycle II. In the Think-Pair-Share implementation, students are given a sheet containing a summary of the material and questions regarding the material to be taught. Question sheets are arranged in the form of Student Activity Sheets (LKS). LKS are given after the process of observing and the subject matter is arranged systematically from easy questions to difficult questions. Students are given the opportunity to answer the question as best they can within the allotted time limit. The concept discovery process is carried out in groups (pairs), students have individual and group responsibilities and have the same opportunity to succeed. Improving Students’ Achievement In Descriptive Text Through the Application (STAD) Student Team Achievement Division

This study aims at improving students’ descriptive paragraph writing through STAD(Student Team Achievement Division) technique. In this study the writer conducted classroom action research. The subject of the research was 40 students of grade X SMA Negeri 1 PEGAJAHAN. Districts of Pegajahan Serdang Bedagai. There are four parallel classes that consist 40 students each class. The instruments for collecting data were writing test for quantitative data, qualitative data and questionnaire sheet,. The instrument for collecting the quantitative data was writing test while the qualitative data were gathered through the interview, diary notes and observation sheet. The qualitative data showed that the students were not interested in descriptive text. Based on the students’ scores of class x-1 taken by the English teacher for twice, it was gained that only 40% and 42% of students achieve .The minimum Completeness Criteria in writing. More than 50% of students are not able to get it.It means the ability of students is low. In this school students must achieve 70 in order to get in English subject. After having been analysed , the result of the study denotes that the students’ achievement constantly improved significantly. In conclusion, the application of Student Team Achievement Division technique can improve the students’ achievement in writing descriptive text. Keywords: Classroom Action Research Descriptive. Pendampingan Peningkatan Kemampuan Menulis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas Guru Bahasa Inggris di Kabupaten Solok

Increasing teacher competence should be carried out continuously. It is aimed to increase the professionalism of teachers in the field of teaching. One of ways that can be done to improve teacher pedagogical competence is by conducting Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research aims to improve the approach in teaching so that the results of student achievement can be improved. However, the implementation of CAR is often being an obstacle for teachers because of their lack of knowledge related to the implementation of CAR, which starts from the preparation of proposals, conducting research, to reporting research. It becomes a real urgency for teachers to get assistance in preparing CAR proposals as an initial step in implementing CAR in schools. An assistance for writing CAR proposals is a necessity for teachers so that the teachers have a strong basis for implementing CAR properly and correctly. Therefore, this assistance is carried out to improve the ability of teachers to write CAR proposals so that the final goal of implementing a good CAR can be realized

Developing Professional Teacher to Improve Madrasah Student Character

This study was aimed at investigating research and development (R&amp;D) model applied to Akidah-Akhlak subject teachers in strengthening their students’ character in madrasah in South Jakarta. This research applied R&amp;D using ADDIE version which consisted of: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were selected purposively involving 30 teachers. The results of the study show that the training model for the teachers was carried out with an emphasis on empowering the teachers’ professionalism. The development program was implemented through training and mentoring based on the modules. The results of the module-based teacher professional development can build the students’ character. The syntax for the training program started from preliminary studies, model descriptions compilation, model development, and professional teacher outcomes (compiling lesson plan, carrying out learning activities, conducting classroom action research). The implementation of the module-based teacher professional development had a significant impact on increasing the teachers’ pedagogic competence. They demonstrated a teaching vision that emphasized the importance of teaching the subject to their students. Teaching and learning activity which is based on the teachers’ professionalism can build students’ positive character in madrasah in South Jakarta.

PELAKSANAAN &amp; EVALUASI PERKULIAHAN PENGENALAN TIPOGRAFI SECARA DARING SEBAGAI RESPON TERHADAP PANDEMI COVID-19

Typography is an essential skill for visual communication design. Teaching foundational typography is often a challenge due to its nature, and with the COVID-19 Pandemic, adapting the teaching for typography has been a challenge. To develop the online teaching of typography, the author conducted classroom action research on the Introduction to Typography course on Universitas Pelita Harapan in the 2020/2021 academic year. There were 49 students in three classes that participate in this research. The class consists of four learning projects: Alphabetography, Type as Image, Typographic Contrast, and Quotes Poster Design; and also 10 Quizzes. After one semester, the result and grades of the 2020/2021 students increased compared to the 2019/2020 students. The author hopes that the classroom action research can become a basis for the next teaching and research cycle.
