Research on Evaluation Indicators of AgriVoltaics

In recent years, with the popularization of environmental protection concepts and the continuous development of new energy technologies, agrivoltaics has attracted increasing attention and become an important direction of new agricultural development as a new type of agricultural planting method and new energy utilization method. This article classifies ground-based agrivoltaic schemes into three categories according to different management and distributions of solar radiation: intensity management, spectrum management, and time management. The article also details the performance of high-quality schemes proposed by our research team for these three categories. In addition, the article proposes four evaluation indicators for agrivoltaic schemes: land equivalent ratio (LER), return on investment (ROI), water-saving performance, and crop-friendliness, and calculates the performance of different schemes proposed by our research team based on these indicators. Finally, we recommend using these four dimensions to evaluate the performance of agrivoltaic schemes.

The Influence of CEO's Overseas Background on Firms' Green Technology Innovation Based on the Moderating Effect of the Nature of Firms' Property Rights

Based on China's current emphasis on green development and the bottleneck of green innovation faced by enterprises in practice, this paper focuses on analyzing the role of executives' overseas experience in corporate green innovation. Utilizing data from A-share listed companies in China from 2008 to 2022, this study finds that CEOs with overseas experience significantly promote corporate green technology innovation. The study further reveals the intrinsic mechanisms by which CEOs with overseas experience promote firms' green technological innovation, including the positive impact of their internationalized vision, environmental protection concepts and long-term planning on firms' innovation decisions. Meanwhile, the study also takes into account the heterogeneity of firms, and finds that the overseas experience of CEOs in private firms has a more significant effect on green technological innovation than that of state-owned firms. Through empirical research, this paper clarifies the influence mechanism and boundary conditions of CEOs with overseas experience on corporate green technology innovation, which provides useful insights for corporate management practice and policy making.

Enhancing the Mechanical Properties and Water Permeability of Pervious Planting Concrete: A Study on Additives and Plant Growth.

Pervious planting concrete (PPC) is in line with the concept of ecological environmental protection. However, due to its own porous structure, it is difficult to obtain excellent mechanical properties and water permeability at the same time, which hinders its promotion and application. In this paper, natural gravel (NG), ordinary Portland cement (OPC), polyvinyl alcohol latex powder (PVAP) and polycarboxylate superplasticizer (PS) were used to prepare the PPC, and its mechanical properties and water permeability were studied. Three kinds of plants were planted in the PPC and their planting properties were studied. At the same time, the effect of Bacillus on the planting properties was studied. The results show that when the water-binder ratio (W/B) was 0.28 and the PVAP content was 0.8%, both the mechanical properties and water permeability of the PPC were optimal. The compressive strength and permeability coefficient were 14.2 MPa and 14.48 mm/s, respectively. The mechanical properties and water permeability of PPC prepared with 10~20 mm NG were better than those prepared with 5~10 mm NG. Among the three plants, the germination rate and growth of Elymus dahuricus Turcz (EDT) were the best. The incorporation of Bacillus can optimize its planting properties and promote the effective combination between plants and the PPC substrate.

China not only needs to play an important role in the international arena, but also needs to deepen its internal reforms in order to raise the level of national education and contribute to the grand blueprint of high-quality economic development and national rejuvenation. Exploring Issues and Strategies of Rural Land Use and Environmental Protection

Land resources play a crucial role in the overall development of society, but the irrational exploitation and use of these resources have significant adverse effects on the natural ecological environment, which is detrimental to the effective construction of a harmonious society. There is an inseparable relationship between rural land use and ecological security, and in current rural land use practices, environmental protection issues are increasingly emphasized. In some rural areas, in pursuit of short-term economic benefits, the importance of environmental protection is often overlooked, leading to excessive development and use of land resources, posing a great threat to the sustainable development of rural society. The reduction of vegetation signifies a deterioration of the ecological environment, and soil erosion leads to a decrease in land resources and a decline in land productivity, while soil degradation directly affects the growth of crops and the income of farmers. Therefore, it is essential to integrate environmental protection concepts throughout the entire process of rural land use. In the development and utilization of land resources, environmental protection requirements must be fully considered, adopting scientific and reasonable planning and measures to ensure the full utilization of land resources and achieve sustainable development of rural society.

Polycarboxylate superplasticizer modified 3D graphene as long-term-efficient water-based lubricating additive under heavy load conditions

At present, due to the excellent properties of graphene, which can significantly enhance the performance of lubricants, researchers are conducting extensive studies on it. However, the poor dispersion of graphene limits its application in lubrication, which becomes an urgent problem for researchers to solve. Moreover, with the concept of green environmental protection becoming more and more popular, the research on water-based lubricants is of great significance. Therefore, we modify three-dimensional graphene (3DG) by polycarboxylate superplasticizer (PCE) to prepare a water-based lubrication nano-additive with long-term dispersion stability, named PCEG. PCEG nanomaterials can stably disperse in water for more than three months, which effectively solves this problem. Tests show that friction coefficient and wear volume of the lubricant with 0.5 wt% PCEG are reduced by 31.1 % and 23.1 %, respectively, compared to the base fluid at 20 N (2.7 GPa) heavy load conditions. The enhanced lubrication performance is attributed to the fact that PCEG, which has excellent dispersion stability, forms a strong adsorption and continuous dense lubrication film on the friction surface. In addition, it fills and polishes the grooves and pits, thus improving the friction-reduction and anti-wear properties. This study not only greatly solves the problem of poor dispersion stability of graphene and develops a nano-lubricant that is consistently effective under heavy load conditions, but also provides an important reference value for the subsequent development of high-performance and stable graphene-based lubricants.

The Impact of Consumer Environmental Preferences on the Green Technological Innovation of Chinese Listed Companies

Using the data of companies from heavily polluting industries listed on China’s A-share stock market from 2011 to 2022, this paper empirically investigates the impact of consumer environmental preference on green technological innovation. The results indicate that consumer environmental preference significantly promotes the green innovation of firms from heavily polluting industries. Moreover, consumer environmental preference imposes a higher influence on strategic green innovation than substantive green innovation. The mechanism tests suggest that consumer environmental preference encourages green technological innovation by strengthening the environmental protection concept and increasing R&D investment. Finally, we find that rising consumer environmental preference has a more prominent effect on the promotion of green innovation for enterprises in regions with higher levels of marketization and lower government environmental regulation, larger enterprises, and private enterprises.

A new multi-attribute group decision-making method based on probabilistic multi-valued linguistic spherical fuzzy sets for the site selection of charging piles

Motivated by the concepts of low carbon and environmental protection, electric vehicles have received much attention and become more and more popular all around the world. The expanding demand for electric vehicles has driven the rapid development of the charging pile industry. One of the prominent issues in charging pile industry is to determine their sites, which is a complex decision-making problem. As a matter of factor, the process of charging piles sites selection can be regarded as multi-attribute group decision-making (MAGDM), which is the main topic of this paper. The recently proposed linguistic spherical fuzzy sets (LSFSs) composed of the linguistic membership degree, linguistic abstinence degree and linguistic non-membership degree are powerful tools to express the evaluation information of decision makers (DMs). Based on the concept of LSFSs, we introduce probabilistic multi-valued linguistic spherical fuzzy sets (PMVLSFSs), which can describe DMs’ fuzzy evaluation information in a more refined and accurate way. The operation rules of PMVLSFSs are also developed in this article. To effectively aggregate PMVLSFSs, the probabilistic multi-valued linguistic spherical fuzzy power generalized Maclaurin symmetric mean operator and the probabilistic multi-valued linguistic spherical fuzzy power weighted generalized Maclaurin symmetric mean are put forward. Based on the above aggregation operators, a new method for MAGDM problem with PMVLSFSs is established. Further, a practical case of suitable site selection of charging pile is used to verify the practicability of this method. Lastly, comparative analysis with other methods is performed to illustrate the advantages and stability of proposed method.

Research on Green Development Decision Making of Logistics Enterprises Based on Three-Party Game

The concept of green logistics entails minimizing the ecological impact of logistical resources, enhancing the environmental quality within the logistics sector, and optimizing resource utilization to foster sustainable development in social economic production and consumption. Promoting green transportation is not only a positive reflection of the concepts of environmental protection and green development, but also an effective means for traditional logistics enterprises to reduce operating costs, win competitive advantages, and achieve transformation and upgrading. This paper takes logistics enterprises facing green transformation and development decisions as the research object, and puts forward an evolutionary game model between logistics companies, government, and community. The evolution path of logistics enterprises’ green transformation development strategy choice under different conditions is analyzed in detail. The results show that, under the conditions of the government’s incentive and supervision and the public’s choice of green consumption, logistics enterprises are more inclined to green transformation development. Different levels of public choice and different levels of government regulation also make different corporate strategy choices. Therefore, it is suggested that the government provide policy, technical channels, funds, and other support for logistics companies promoting green logistics, and actively publicize the concept of green consumption in the market.

Synergistic interactions of citric acid grafted β-cyclodextrin and polyethyleneimine for improving interfacial properties of basalt fiber/epoxy composites

Basalt fiber responds well to the global concept of environmental protection due to its attractive superiorities of green and excellent mechanical performance. However, the ultra-low interfacial adhesion strength of fiber-to-matrix deeply restricts its wide application. Moreover, attempts to utilize natural- or bio-materials on basalt fiber towards growth in interfacial adhesion remains in its infancy, if feasible, it would make green materials shine brilliantly. Herein, we install citric acid modified β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) and polyethyleneimine (PEI) on basalt fiber via dipping approach for the first time, which results in 76.9% increment in fiber-to-epoxy adhesion over control fiber. Unique inner hydrophobic and outer hydrophilic conical cavity architecture of β-CD endows interphase with dense ring hydrogen bond band “core”- covalent/ionic bonding “shell” multiple interactions that balance stress transfer and energy dissipation. Additionally, “rigid” β-CD and “flexible” PEI function as crack deflection and stress distribution for gaining stronger interphase of basalt fiber composites. This paper serves to provide a new exploitation for advancing green and high-performance composites.

Research Progress of Bio-organic Dust Suppressants

Both natural and human-generated dust can cause serious harm to the environment and human health. Since the dust suppressants can accelerate the dust settlement more effectively to prevent the dust from raising; at the same time, to comply with the concept of environmental protection, the use of natural bioorganic materials to prepare dust suppressants has become a research hotspot. This paper summarizes the working principle of dust suppressants and the evaluation indexes of the performance of the dust suppressants, reviews the methods and research results of using bio-organic materials such as polysaccharides, lignin, proteins, microorganisms, agricultural and forestry wastes to prepare dust suppressants in recent years, and puts forward the suggestions on the problems of the current bio-organic dust suppressants to provide a reference for their further development in the future.

Study on the Influence of Environmental Protection Packaging of Green Cosmetics on Consumer Preference

The concept of environmentalism is gradually integrated into various fields, including the food industry, daily necessities and even industrial production. Similarly, the cosmetics industry has subsequently incorporated environmental protection concepts into the industry's products and formed a green cosmetics industry chain. In recent years, environmental protection concepts have been reflected in the cosmetics industry in the form of green product ingredients and green production industrial chains. However, many companies have embodied the green concept in their packaging, introducing the concept of "green packaging". Although there are many academic studies on the impact of packaging design on consumers' purchase intention and behavior, there needs to be a unified review to summarize and specifically consider the mutual influence of the combination. This study aims to fill this research gap. This paper will review the relevant literature and summarize the influential relationship between the latest consumer behavior research in the cosmetic industry and the latest advances in green packaging for cosmetics based on the latest developments in the cosmetic industry. This research followed the PRISMA guidelines to search and summarize the literature on these two areas. The most common factors that determine consumers' choice of green cosmetic products are branding, their own health needs, the degree of consumers' awareness of environmental protection, and the collective effect. Green packaging materials and design were integrated into these factors. It was finally confirmed that green packaging materials and design had a choice-promoting effect on cosmetic consumers' behavioral preferences.

Catkin-derived carbon microtubes for hybrid anode materials of high-performance lithium ion batteries

As a common biological waste, catkin shows negligible economic value and is hazardous to the environment and human respiratory health. To turn waste into treasure, in this work, a hybrid anode is successfully prepared by using the catkin-derived 1D hollow carbon microtube as dispersing agents to well disperse the MnO particles via a simple one-step pyrolysis method. Benefiting from the high electrical conductivity and hollow microtubule structure of the catkin-derived carbon, as well as the evenly dispersion of the MnO particles and the interfacial energy storage of Mn0/Li2O interfaces, the lithium ion battery based on the resultant MnO/C hybrid anode exhibits outstanding rate performance (high reversible specific capacity of 1365 mAh g−1 at a current density of 0.1 A g−1 and maintains 451 mAh g−1 even at a high current density of 6.4 A g−1) and superior cycling stability (retains ∼100 % after 1000 cycles at a current density of 0.8 A g−1). This work conforms to the development concept of green environmental protection and realizes the unity of economic and social benefits.

Research on Multiple Optimization of Engineering Management Models under the Concept of Environmental Protection

Abstract With the continuous development of social economy, engineering management technology is becoming increasingly mature, and multi-objective optimization technology is widely used in engineering management. Based on the traditional schedule, cost and quality model, the article introduces the environmental factor as the fourth optimization objective and constructs a comprehensive four-objective optimization model. The model starts from the concept of environmental protection, and proposes the modeling method of ecological indicators for deterministic and non-deterministic conditions. The article utilizes the multi-objective comprehensive optimization model to conduct an in-depth analysis of the engineering management condition of S project. After the engineering management optimization implementation, the optimization scheme showed that the planned duration was shortened to 324 days, which saved 12.9% of the construction time compared to the initial scheme and 1.81 million RMB in cost. In addition, the project achieved an average value of 0.9167 for quality reliability and a reduction in environmental impact to 296.48, which met the expected criteria in the S-engineering contract. The research in this paper not only provides a new type of multi-objective optimization method integrating the concept of environmental protection for project management, but also proves the effectiveness and practicability of this method in actual projects through example analysis.

This study examines the general trend of sustainable development for modern businesses, focusing on the four development strategies adopted by Huawei during the epidemic: digital inclusion, security and trustworthiness, greenness, and harmonious ecology. This study explores the risk to corporate sustainability and how supply chain risks can be effectively managed. Through a case study of Huawei’s three-year sustainability report and related data, it offers practical advice that will be valuable to other companies. The study calls on companies to develop sustainable supply chains while paying attention to social responsibility, incorporating environmental protection concepts, actively adopting digital communication technologies to cope with unknown risks, and enhancing their image to achieve long-term stable development. Research on the Development and Development of Sustainable Design in the Textile and Garment Industry under the Goal of "Double-Carbon"

Textile and garment industry is an important part of China's social economy. In the development process of this industry, sustainable garment design has attracted more and more attention, mainly because it can reduce carbon emissions, protect the environment, and then promote the long-term development of the textile and garment industry. In the past, there were big problems in the textile and clothing design work. Due to the limited design concept, a lot of waste fabrics and harmful gases were produced in the links of clothing design and production, which deviates from the current green development concept. Under the goal of "double carbon", the textile and garment industry needs to establish the development concept of environmental protection and emission reduction, and to optimize and improve the previous design concept and methods, so that it can achieve the goal of sustainable development.

Laboratory short-term aging of crumb rubber modified asphalt: RTFOT temperature optimization and performance investigation

Improper disposal of substantial scrap tires can result in significant environmental issues, such as air pollution, water resources, and soil contamination. The scrap tires can be turned into valuable materials by preparing tire rubber powder into Crumb rubber modified asphalt (CRMA). This method can effectively reduce environmental pollution and achieve the concept of energy conservation, environmental protection, and low-carbon. However, during the production process of CRMA mixtures, the elevated construction temperature may induce more severe short-term aging of the mixtures. The standard laboratory short-term aging scheme of asphalt binders, the Rolling Thin Film Oven Test (RTFOT), cannot simulate the short-term aging of CRMA due to the increase in construction temperature. Besides, the determination methods and indices of RTFOT aging temperature are still unclear and inconsistent. In this study, three CRMA binders were treated by RTFOT with five temperatures, and the short-term oven aging (STOA) protocol was conducted on CRMA mixtures with three types of gradations. Firstly, the chemical and rheological performance of CRMA binders and mixtures were investigated by conducting Gel permeation chromatography (GPC), Fourier transformation infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Dynamic shear rheology (DSR) tests, and Bending beam rheometer (BBR) test. Then, the equivalent aging temperatures were determined to optimize RTFOT temperatures by comparing the chemical indicators of binders and mixtures. Finally, the correlations of chemical and rheological indices were established, and the rheological properties of aged asphalt in mixtures were predicted. The analysis results indicate that suitable RTFOT temperature is not only related to the technical routes and viscosity of CRMA binders, but also relevant to the mixture gradations. Binders with higher viscosity need elevated RTFOT temperatures from 173 °C to 193 °C, especially simulating short-term aging of mixtures with higher air voids. The swelling and degradation of crumb rubber contribute to the enhancement of the anti-aging performance. The aging index (AI) can reflect the anti-aging performance of CRMA binders, and the variation of AI can validate the rationality of the optimized RTFOT temperatures.
