Analyzing Educational Prophetic Leadership in Disruption Era in Muhammadiyah Pesantren: Implementation and Relevance

This article aims to review and analyze the relevance of prophetic leadership patterns in Muhammadiyah Pesantren with leaders' needs in the disruption era. This is evidenced by the management of education that uses the latest technology to face the growing social challenges. The era of disruption is changing the management of education that uses renewable technology to face the growing social challenges, especially in education, and how Muhammadiyah tackles this issue. Muhammadiyah Pesantren is an educational institution that adheres to the values of prophetic leadership with that character and does not abandon the transformation of digitalization in the era of disruption. The research method used is qualitative, with data collected through field studies. In-depth interviews were conducted with the Head of the Muhammadiyah Pesantren Development Institute PWM East Java and the leaders of Al-Furqon Muhammadiyah Pesantren Batu City to clarify the phenomenon of education in the current era of disruption. Data validation was carried out using the triangulation method. Leaders today require high standards and qualifications to present quality, efficient, and effective leadership patterns to solve future challenges. The education system managed by Muhammadiyah Pesantren leaders requires transformation with the concept of digitalization without leaving prophetic values as the foundation of its leadership. It is only necessary to develop the concept of prophetic leadership to penetrate every aspect of renewal and modernization. The implementation of ideal leadership in this era is designed with the concepts of humanization, liberation, and transcendence. This research proposes recommendations for concrete practices of ideal leadership for Muhammadiyah Pesantren in facing the challenges of the disruption era.

A014: Research on Physical Education Teaching Mode in the Context of Education Digitalization

Background: The 2022 National Education Work Conference clearly stated that the implementation of the strategic action of education digitalization is not only a high degree of integration of modern education and the digital information age, but also an important strategy to accelerate the digital transformation of education during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. To implement the power of sports, culture and education, physical education teaching in colleges and universities should actively explore innovative development paths for physical education. Research methods: In this paper, "education digitalization and physical education" were the key words. Starting from 2022, when the concept of education digitalization was proposed, this paper conducted relevant searches on CNKI, Google Scholar and the websites of the Ministry of Education to extract and analyze first-hand literature and materials related to physical education teaching in colleges and universities related to education digitalization. Through the literature search method, expert interview method, inductive deduction method and data analysis method, this paper studied and analyzed the application of digital education in physical education teaching and explored the development path of physical education teaching in colleges and universities in the context of future education digitalization. Research content: (1) The coverage of teaching resources has been continuously expanded, and the use of information digitization teaching has greatly expanded the channels for students to acquire knowledge and skills in Xi and improved the efficiency and quality of students' learning Xi and learning Xi. (2) The implementation of teaching methods is constantly innovative, and virtual reality technology breaks the barriers of traditional teaching venues, improves students' autonomy in learning Xi, and enhances the sense of participation and experience of learning Xi. (3) The teaching evaluation system is personalized, and digital tool technology helps teachers to provide personalized guidance from the physical and mental health of students. Conclusions of the study: Education digitalization is an inevitable trend in the development of modern education. The key lies on how to apply digital information to improve physical education teaching mode, enrich innovative teaching methods, help students carry out efficient and personalized learning Xi, improve teaching quality, and promote the process of education digitalization.

DIGITALIZATION AS A CHARACTERISTIC FEATURE OF THE SOCIAL SYSTEM AT THE PRESENT STAGE OF DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIETY AND THE STATE

The article explores the concept of “digitalization” and focuses on the chaotic study of the digital environment in the modern period. The author examines the concept of social system, taking into account the transition to an information society, and defines the concept of digitalization as the main feature of the social system. The features of the information society, the digital environment, new subjects of legal relations of electronic democracy, and the implementation of state information policy as signs of the social system caused by digitalization are highlighted.

Digital technologies in urban regeneration: A systematic review of literature

Urban regeneration is a challenging intervention, considering the multidimensional issues involved and the complexities of stakeholder collaborations. While prior research indicates the potential of digital technology in addressing these challenges and introducing novel approaches to urban regeneration, the full scope of applying emerging digital concepts, including but not limited to geographic information systems, digital twins, artificial intelligence, and virtual reality to enhance urban regeneration still needs to be explored. We conducted a systematic literature review to address this gap, employing meta-analysis and bibliometric analysis. Six key aspects of urban regeneration were identified, including decision-making support, prioritization of areas of concern, stakeholder participation, regeneration scenario identification, design and implementation of regeneration actions, and post-regeneration analysis. We evaluated the impact of digital technologies across these dimensions, examining their interaction with critical urban regeneration domains through spatiotemporal analyses of published literature. Our findings delineate novel applications and benefits of emerging digital technologies throughout various stages of urban regeneration, from site selection to project evaluation. This study comprehensively appraises how urban regeneration processes can be enriched by leveraging innovative technological applications while also suggesting avenues for future digitally sustainable integrated approaches to urban regeneration.

THE JEAN MONNET PROJECT RESEARCH ON DIGITAL CULTURE AND EDUCATION: THE ANALYSIS OF CATEGORIES IN STUDENT RESPONSES

This paper presents one of the results of the project on “Digital culture in higher education: European perspective” funded by European Comission Jean Monnet Module (JMM) for the years of 2022-2025. The aim of this funded project is to convey European perspectives on digital culture in higher education. Within this projectthe authors have developped and introduced a breif module designed for students majoring in information technologies at Astana IT University in Kazakhstan. The authors have conducted an online survey among 452 students who have participated in the module. The purpose of this survey was to explore student persepctives and awarness about digital culture and digitalization in education. The data obtained from the student responses have been clustered into sixteen categories. The authors conclude that the respondents are aware of digital culture and education and opportunities in these fields. The student responses demonstrate multifaceted nature of digital culture and digitalization in education. Key themes include the use of digital tools in academic and professional life, digital interaction, and the societal impact of technology. Student responses also emphasized the democratization and accessibility of education through digital platforms. The findings of the study have revealed that there is still lack of familiarity among the respondents with the concept of digital culture and digitalization in education and a synchronous impact on society and culture.

Bridging the gap through telemedicine: Pilot study on the acceptance and use of teledermatology for urticaria.

Chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU) significantly impairs patients' quality of life. Despite advances in diagnosis and therapy, treatment is still unsatisfactory. Telemedicine offers a promising solution to improve treatment. This pilot study assesses the acceptability and utilization of a digital health model for CSU, examines its impact on disease management, and identifies technical challenges. In this prospective pilot study, CSU patients at a university hospital in Germany were included. Over 12months, participants interacted with physicians via a telemedicine platform, which was the study-specific intervention. After each three-month digital visit, symptoms and quality of life were assessed using electronic patient reported outcomes (ePROs) and online questionnaires. In the end, patients and doctors rated the overall satisfaction, the user-friendliness of the platform and the technical challenges. 24 patients completed the study. The majority (92%) reported that the digital concept could be a promising alternative to traditional consultations. Analysis from baseline to end of study revealed that disease control remained stable while quality of life improved. All physicians found the digital application reliable and time-saving. This pilot study demonstrates the feasibility and high acceptance of a digital health model for the management of CSU. Further research with larger cohorts is needed and planned to determine broader applicability.

Concept of the digital state: concept, nature and ontology

The article is devoted to the study of the phenomenon and concept of the digital state. The general concept and meaning of digitization in public administration is revealed. The problems of relevant interpretation and the limits of applicability of this concept to public administration are explained. The author’s concept and definition are presented, explaining the concept, nature and ontology of the digital state. The author suggests to consider the digital state in 4 interpretive projections: 1) as an ecosystem of operational, multi-service and proactive state digital super-services; 2) as an integrated computer-software meta-platform (platform system); 3) as an organizational and technological approach and corresponding paradigm; 4) as the digital ontology of state-building and functioning, public administration and public policy. According to the author’s interpretation, the concept of the “digital state” structurally includes the concepts: 1) the concept of the “digital government”; 2) the “digital democracy” concept; 3) the concept of the “digital justice”; 4) the concept of the “digital electoral technologies”; 5) the concept of the “digital public control over public administration”. The article details the author’s concept of “digital government”. The article is based on application of research methods of analysis and synthesis, induction, deduction and abduction, classification and formalization; through application of research methods, the essential descriptive characteristics of the phenomenon and the concept of the digital state were revealed.

Design and Application of the New Multi-functional Moxibustion Box

Our team is dedicated to exploring new models for the treatment of spleen and stomach diseases using external therapy techniques of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). We have developed a new multi-functional external therapy device for TCM that innovatively combines the concept of combined therapy with moxibustion. Additionally, through the application of artificial intelligence and new cross-industry intelligent manufacturing technologies, we have creatively incorporated an intelligent anti-burning system, enhancing the automation and informatization level of the product. We have implemented the concept of digitalization from the design stage, thus truly realizing an in-depth exploration of moxibustion, a method of external therapy in TCM. This chapter will summarize the design and application of a new multi-functional moxibustion box, aiming to provide a comprehensive reference for improving the symptoms of spleen and stomach diseases through moxibustion therapy.

Digitalization as a factor of labor market dynamics

Dedicated to studying the impact of digitalization on the labor market and employment. The existing approaches to the essence of the concept of digitalization are considered, the ongoing changes in the labor market are analyzed, options for classifying the new composition of professions are presented depending on their exposure to digitalization, and an analysis of modern requirements for the social and technical skills of employees due to the active use of new technological tools is carried out. Statistical data on the dynamics of the prevalence of digital skills is presented, the influence of digital technologies on professional requirements and personal qualities of potential employees is revealed. Attention is paid to new forms of employment, such as the gig economy and working with distributed teams, showing their advantages and disadvantages, as well as the challenges they pose to society. It is shown that in modern conditions the requirements for the employee’s adaptive ability, the presence of a certain flexibility of thinking and behavior, and a deep understanding of the consequences of his activities are increasing. It is concluded that workers’ skills in using digital technologies are becoming one of the determining factors in the labor market and affect a person’s status in work. Modern society needs a worker with a broad scientific and technical outlook and a desire to acquire new knowledge. The key trends in the digitalization process in the near future are highlighted, and recommendations are offered to employees for adapting to new changes in the labor market.

Characterizing the Role of Geospatial Science in Digital Twins

Delivering value from digital concepts such as Digital Twins is necessary to address systemic national and global issues, such as achieving Net Zero. However, there is still a lack of consensus over what a Digital Twin (DT) is and efforts to clarify this do not consider the Geospatial perspective. With the aspiration for national- and international-scale DTs, it is important that the Geospatial community understands its role in supporting the realisation of the value of these DTs. Here, a systematic literature review is used to gather DT case studies that use, or are inferred to use, elements of the Geospatial discipline. A total of 77 DT case studies about smart cities, manufacturing, energy, construction and agriculture are reviewed in full, and 24 Geospatial DT dimensions are defined and then compared with existing DT dimensions. The results indicate a considerable use of Geospatial Science in DTs that is not explicitly stated, meaning that there are possibly missed opportunities for collaboration between the Geospatial and DT communities. We conclude that the role of Geospatial Science in DTs is larger than stated and needs to be understood further.

Digitalization in Logistics for Competitive Excellence

Logistics is presently undergoing a transformative phase driven by rapid digitalization. This trend has spurred an in-depth exploration of the industry's theoretical potential and practical challenges. This comprehensive review focuses on practical applications, delving deeply into the increasing interest in digital technologies within logistics. The primary objective of this study is to conduct a bibliometric analysis to unravel the growth and academic development of the concept of logistic digitalization. The investigation examines academic literature from the Web of Science database spanning 2020-2024. Using VOS Viewer, an intellectual structure and bibliographic analysis are performed on selected articles. The cluster that concentrates on articles about the Internet of Things (IoT) technology and its impact on the logistics economy (the fourth cluster) is most closely related to the digital theme. The study combines theoretical framework, including Michael Porter's and the Resource-Based View, to illustrate the connections that improve business competitiveness. The examination of investments in digital technology sheds light on the logistics sector's experiences during the years when these investments impact labor productivity. Descriptive analysis results suggest that companies implementing technology can achieve a workforce productivity increase of up to 20%, underscoring the significance of technology investments for enhancing business competitiveness. These findings shed light on how various logistics sub-sectors respond to investments in software and computers and the rate at which these technologies influence labor productivity metrics. These empirical findings substantially reinforce the theoretical framework, providing practical implications and emphasizing the critical necessity for logistics firms to integrate digital technologies into their operational frameworks seamlessly. In conclusion, as the logistics landscape hovers on the brink of a digital revolution, businesses must adeptly navigate and wholeheartedly embrace digital solutions to ensure competitiveness.

Development and reliability of the width depth strength tool for assessing the structural quality of paper-based concept maps: WiDeST

Drawing a paper-based concept map gives students more freedom to express their mental model than digital concept mapping tools. However, this freedom can hinder a uniform structure and make determining the structural quality of students’ mental models more difficult. In this dual-study paper, we develop and determine the reliability of our Width, Depth and Strength Tool (WiDeST) for assessing paper-based concept maps in secondary and tertiary education. In the first study, 157 secondary education students created 1377 concept maps in a longitudinal design over 24 weeks. The first study's results indicate that WiDeST is reliable, with an Omega Total of 0.81. Test-retest stability (ICCk2) ranges between 0.72 and 0.84. To test whether WiDeST remained reliable in tertiary education, we undertook a second study in which 80 students created 80 concept maps. The second study's results show that WiDeST is reliable with an Omega total of 0.70. WiDeST remained reliable while the structural complexity of the mental models increased from secondary education to tertiary education.

These days, governments are actively increasing the introduction of new GovTech solutions in order to improve the efficiency of public authorities work. The digital government, as a key concept of the public sector digitalization, is the next stage in the evolution of public administration, which is aimed at accelerating the decision-making process at the state and municipal levels, improving the interaction with citizens and public organizations, as well as increasing the level of trust in the authorities. The article analyses GovTech technologies and the principles of their introduction, the stages of public sector digital maturity. The COVID-19 pandemic was identified as the driver of the government digitization, but in the long run, the reactive policy should move to a complete reorganization of public administration systems in terms of the introduction of new technologies and ensuring cybersecurity. The article assesses the main challenges of GovTech introduction, as well as the key GovTech trends. Additionally, the authors analyzed the European and Russian practices of public administration digitalization. An analysis of GovTech concept, conducted by the authors, allowed to determine the conditions of growth of the Russian GovTech market and its prospects and to draw conclusions about the significant potential of Russia to successfully achieve the stage of the digital government.

Business digitalization: definition and tools

As a result of the study, the concept of digitalization of a business organization is defined as a set of tools, the process of adding digital technologies to physical space and transferring information into a digital format to improve the efficiency and increase the profit of a business organization. Digitalization is a process and a tool, not the ultimate goal, and it should improve the interaction between people and technology. Digitalization has been classified into two types: process digitalization and product digitalization. Process digitalization is the classic understanding of this term in the context of business processes, and product digitalization is the additions of digital technologies to an existing product to improve it. Any type of digitalization should lead to an increase in the profit of a business organization directly or indirectly because this is one of the most important goals of any business. Digitalization tools have been defined as digital technologies and methods of their implementation in business processes or additions to products. Examples of such tools have been provided. It has been determined that one of the most important tools of digitization is digital data management. Digital data management includes digitization as one of the first stages and may include the use of CRM systems, cloud technologies and artificial intelligence. The use of these tools is possible not only in the context of data management, but as a method of creating a digital infrastructure or making decisions. The advantages of using various digitalization tools have been determined. Digital data management (including CRM systems, cloud technologies and artificial intelligence in this context) gives the ability to store, analyse and use large volumes of data, allows quick and easy access to information, reliability, and confidentiality, ensuring statistics, etc. Also, the use of digitalization tools allows improving interaction with consumers and creating a comfortable and efficient infrastructure both within the company and for consumers. Other digitalization tools have been listed: mobile technologies, ERP systems, automation, robots, IoT platforms, and GPS systems. It has been found that all these tools can be used to digitize the process, and only artificial intelligence GPS, and cloud technologies can be used to digitize the product.

Professional Skills of Future Accountants Working in a Digitized Environment Dominated by ERP Systems or Artificial Intelligence

Abstract The massive evolution of the digitization concept in recent years has also gained momentum among accounting professionals, as a result of the massive use of IT systems called ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems. Thus, their entire activity is focused on the processing of financial-accounting data with the help of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems. The modular structure of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems can be integrated for other departments within an organization, but in this article the financial-accounting module of the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system will be discussed, in order to identify the main skills of future accountants. Artificial Intelligence, and learning algorithms in particular, offer exciting opportunities to help professionals such as accountants improve their skills, the way they deliver services and the way they create value. The research method used for this article is quantitative, based on the bibliometric analysis of the digitization of the accounting profession, focusing primarily on what skills future accountants should develop. The sample of articles used for the analysis was selected from the Web of Science platform, then to be analyzed using the VOS viewer application. The results obtained indicate a significant increase in the analysis capacity of the future accountants, greatly reducing the part of manual data processing that they did manually in the past. The conclusion of the article demonstrates how much the activities of professional accountants have evolved as a result of the digitization of their activities, using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems or Artificial Intelligence.

Transition to intelligent accounting and reporting concepts. Formation of an intellectual valuation concept

Previously, in one of our publications, we proposed categories of digital concepts for accounting, reporting, analysis and auditing and justified their content. The rapid development of technology that has taken place since that time allowed us to assume that today it is already possible to talk about intellectual concepts in the above areas, including the intellectual concept of valuation in accounting and reporting. These questions are explored in this article. When conducting research, methods such as analysis and synthesis, grouping method, comparison, analogy method, logical approach, systematic approach were used. As a result of the research carried out in this work, proposals were made regarding the formation of an intellectual concept for valuation of accounting objects and reporting elements, as well as intellectual concepts of accounting and reporting in general. The results obtained in this article will be useful to a wide range of readers interested in the development of modern accounting and reporting, including valuation, which can be used in the educational process of higher educational institutions, as well as in the practical work of accounting departments of modern organizations.

Pre-school teachers' digital concept maps and instructional design practices

Concept mapping has been a useful and effective technique for representing and assessing science content knowledge. Technological advances have also allowed the creation of user-friendly digital concept map applications. However, there appears a need to examine pre-service teachers' digital concept mapping practices in relation to their instructional design practices i.e. lesson planning. Hence, this study investigated the quality of pre-service pre-school teachers' (n = 26) digital concept maps in reference to the quality of their lesson plans. The quality of the digital concept maps was assessed based on an examination of the quality of a) structure, b) content, and c) their overall quality. Furthermore, it examined teachers' preferences and reflections on digital concept maps in relation to physical (i.e. paper-and-pencil) concept maps. Mixed methods were used including qualitative analysis and statistical correlations of the quality scores of the lesson plans and concept maps. Findings revealed no significant correlation between the quality of digital concept maps and the quality of lesson plans, while the consistency of the focus between the two correlated significantly with the quality of the digital concept maps. The number of concepts, propositions and cross-links as well as conceptual hierarchy were found as indicators of the overall quality of the digital concept maps. A comparison between digital and physical concept maps revealed that teachers' views and arguments varied between the two. The findings of the study speak to the relevance and applicability of digital concept maps for teacher training programmes.

Empirical Study on The Relationship Between Digitization and Industrial Innovation--Taking Wuhan New Display Industry as An Example

This study explores the empirical relationship between virtual agglomeration and industrial innovation in the context of digitalization, taking Wuhan's new display industry as an example. Firstly, the key concepts of digital industrialization, industrial digitization and enterprise technology innovation are clearly defined, and the research framework is constructed on this basis. The rationality and reliability of the model are verified by constructing a VAR model and adopting methods such as unit root test and Granger causality test. The empirical results show that digital industrialization is self-promoting, industrial digitization is independent and subject to external influences, and enterprise technological innovation has complex dynamic responses. Based on the empirical results, it is proposed that the government should strongly support the application of digital technology in traditional industries, promote the internal digitization of industries, and actively promote the construction of technological innovation platforms. The research in this paper helps to deeply understand the regularity of industrial development in the context of digitization, and provides an important reference for the transformation and upgrading of new display industry in Wuhan.
