Development of Learning Management System-Based Teaching Materials to Increase Students' Learning Independence

This research aims to develop appropriate teaching materials for the Vocational Fundamentals subject in Class X using the Learning Management System (LMS), with the primary goal of enhancing students' learning independence. Additionally, the effectiveness of using LMS-based teaching materials in promoting learning independence within the Computer Network and Telecommunications Engineering (TJKT) competency program is examined. The research follows a Research and Development (R&D) approach, utilizing the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. These stages provide a systematic and effective framework for developing LMS-based teaching materials. The participants in this study include teachers and students from SMKN 1, SMKN 3, and SMKN 6 in Bengkulu City. Data collection methods include expert assessments, learner independence questionnaires, and tests. The collected data will be analyzed using statistical techniques such as mean and t-tests, while expert validation will employ a Likert scale. The research findings indicate that the teaching materials developed in this study are suitable for students, and the utilization of LMS-based teaching materials has proven to enhance learner independence.

ANALISIS KOMPARATIF HASIL BELAJAR BAHASA INDONESIA BERBASIS KURIKULUM MERDEKA PADA PEMBELAJARAN DARING DAN LURING

Comparative Analysis of Indonesian Language Learning Outcomes Based on the Independent Curriculum in Online and Offline Learning. This study aims to describe the comparison of the learning outcomes of Indonesian language based on the independent curriculum on brave and attractive learning for class X students majoring in Computer Network Engineering at SMK Negeri 11 Malang. This study is both research and quantitative. Data was collected using a learning achievement test and then analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the learning outcomes of students with the offline learning system were superior to those of students with the online learning system.

Android-Based Online Exam Information System In SMK Pertiwi Batam

Batam Pertiwi Vocational School is the first vocational school in Nongsa sub-district, this school has majoring in TKJ (Computer Network Engineering), Accounting and Nursing, the problems that exist in Batam Pertiwi Batam are implementation that is still manual and value processing takes a long time and costs Great for printing questions and answer sheets. Making an android-based online exam system in the form of an application to facilitate teachers and students in the implementation of the exam. The application is designed using the Mysql database, the interface design uses Android Studio and this application is installed using an android smartphone. After the online exam application, students and teachers are easier to carry out online examinations so it does not take a long time and incur huge costs and realizes SMK Pertiwi Batam as a modern and digital-based vocational school of industrial era 4.0.

WORKSHOP PENGGUNAAN MIKROKONTROLER BAGI GURU DI SMK NEGERI 1 KLATEN

Vocational High School is one of the educational institutions that is responsible for creating human resources who have the ability, skills and expertise, so that graduates are ready to enter the world of work. SMK Negeri 1 Klaten, Central Java, especially lecturers in the department of computer and telecommunications network engineering, has the hope that it is necessary to explore the material and develop learning in the practical use of the Arduino microcontroller. The purpose of this activity is to implement the use of microcontrollers on devices that require automatic controllers such as machine controllers, IoT relay control, home security systems, and also other electronic equipment. The PKM activity method is carried out in stages: observation & requirements analysis, communication & dialogue, workshop, and evaluation. As a result of this activity, the workshop participants participated actively and looked enthusiastic in the activity by diligently asking questions. In the evaluation of the workshop, the results of the practicum were obtained: 75% of the participants succeeded well, and 25% of the participants with good enough results and were able to carry out the practicum independently.

Problem-Based Blended Learning Models in Vocational Education: A Developmental Research

This research was motivated by two main problems: (1) the ineffectiveness of courageous learning is often caused by technical problems; and (2) the learning model used by teachers so far has not been effective, innovative, and optimal because it still uses a textual-based problem-based learning model. The purpose of this study was to develop a problem-based blended learning model for computer network engineering subjects at vocational education and to test the validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The development model applied in this study is the 4D development model, namely: (1) define, (2) design, (3) develop, and (4) disseminate. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires to get validation experts, the practicality of teachers and students. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the data was done through a comparison of pretest and posttest values. The results of the calculation of the acquisition of a score reached 0.53 in the moderate category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the learning model of blended learning based on problem based learning in the subjects of computer network engineering in Vocational High Schools has a high level of validity, practicality, effectiveness.

Pengenalan penggunaan teknologi kedirgantaraan drone untuk meningkatkan mutu siswa SMK Muhammadiyah Sentolo dalam bidang agroindustri

Sentolo Muhammadiyah Vocational School is located in the Kulon Progo area, more precisely on Sentolo-Magelang, Ngeplang, Sentolo, Kulon Progo roads. His areas of expertise are Motorcycle Business Engineering (TBSM), Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering (TKRO), Computer Network Engineering (TKJ). SMK Muhammadiyah Sentolo continues to carry out the process to improve and develop itself. One of them is by creating a Plus Program with the aim of preparing graduates who have resilience and independence. One of the plus programs is agroindustry Therefore, it is necessary to introduce agricultural processing methods using technology, especially technology that supports the fertilization process using liquid fertilizer. This Community Service Activity will introduce the use of fertilization technology using liquid media with the help of drones . The result of this service activity is that students know that the use of drones to help the fertilization process is meaningful for farmers, so students feel eager and enthusiastic to learn how to use the drone. On the farmer's side, they feel that the presence of drones applied by SMK Muhamaadiyah Sentolo students is a new hope that will be useful for helping farmers

Development of Android-Based Learning Media in Wide Area Network Technology Courses

This study aims to create and develop android-based learning media in the Broad-Based Network Technology subject at SMK N 1 Tilatang Kamang. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method. The research subject is android-based learning media in the Broad-Based Network Technology subject. The validators in this study were two lecturers from Padang State University as Media Experts and two SMK teachers majoring in Computer Network Engineering at SMK N 1 Tilatang Kamang. While the object of research is class XI TKJ students using android-based learning media in the Broad-Based Network Technology subject. The results of the media validation test obtained an average value of 0.88 which is included in the valid product category, and the results of the material validity test obtained an average value of 0.93 which is included in the "Valid" category. Furthermore, in the practical aspect of the learning media, the percentage of assessment by the teacher was obtained with an average of 92.50 while the average rating by students was 94.32 in the "Very Practical" category. And the application of Android-based learning media through the stages of testing effectiveness through tests of student learning outcomes, namely in the form of pretest and posttest. The results of the effectiveness test stated that this Android-based learning media was in the "Effective" category.

Management Of Teacher Pedagogic Competency Development In Improving Teacher Performance Productive Network Computer Engineering (Case Study Of SMKS Kosgoro and SMKS Nusantara Bogor City)

This research is motivated by the implementation of pedagogic competence development in general has not been able to improve its quality because it does not yet have a superior quality culture. This study aims to determine the implementation of the management of teacher pedagogical competence development in an effort to improve their performance. The theories in this research are: management theory, coaching (empowerment), competence, performance and six value systems. This study uses a descriptive exploratory method with a qualitative approach to the type of case study that focuses on one particular object as a case and makes general conclusions based on scientific facts. The results of the research in general have obtained an overview of the implementation of management of pedagogic competence development in an effort to improve its performance. Specifically, it is concluded that: (1) Planning for teacher competency development to improve teacher pedagogic competence has a 5-year program formulation and an annual coaching program. (2) The organization of teacher competency development to improve teacher pedagogic competence is prepared by the School Team, consisting of school principals, vice principals and heads of the Computer Network Engineering program. (3) Implementation of teacher competency development to improve teacher pedagogic competence is sometimes not in accordance with the programmed schedule/time and established procedures, as well as operational cost constraints. (4) Supervision of teacher competency development to improve teacher pedagogic competence has been carried out by the Head by recommending suggestions to teachers to make follow-up plans, (5) Factors that support teacher competency development to improve teacher pedagogic competence are good activity planning according to the program and objectives; high enthusiasm and passion for the profession. As for the obstacles in the implementation of the development of pedagogical competence include: a) Lack of competent teachers; b) productive teachers of Network Computer Engineering have not fully utilized the data obtained from the coaching; and c) productive teachers of Network Computer Engineering have not carried out their duties according to their duties and responsibilities. (6) Efforts made to overcome obstacles and obstacles in the implementation of teacher pedagogical competence development to improve the performance of productive teachers in Networking Computer Engineering are: a) maintaining communication always connected and monitoring more intensely, b) Principal recommending the results of coaching to the Foundation , c) sharing good practices of knowledge and experience with other productive teachers; and d) Utilizing information technology in the form of applications and social media to facilitate the implementation of coaching. The research product of the hypothetical model is depicted in a schematic diagram and its explanation.

PENGEMBANGAN KOMPETENSI SISWA MADRASAH ALIYAH BERBASIS KETERAMPILAN MULTIMEDIA DAN TEKNIK KOMPUTER JARINGAN

This article analyzes the efforts of MA Miftahul Ulum Plus Skills, Banyuputih Kidul Jatiroto Lumajang in developing vocational education and improving the skills of MA Miftahul Ulum Plus Skills students through the Job Training Center. This type of research is field research with a descriptive-qualitative approach. The results of the study indicate that the development of vocational education at MA Miftahul Ulum Plus Skills aims to prepare graduates to have skills and foster an entrepreneurial spirit to have economic independence and be able to create jobs independently when they are involved in the community. The skills improvement of MA Miftahul Ulum Plus students Skills in the field of multimedia and computer network engineering are part of a series of quality management education with the expectation that the output is ready and capable in the world of work so that later it can be absorbed by the world of work.

Evidence centered design framework and dynamic bayesian network for modeling learning progression in online assessment system.

An overarching mission of the educational assessment community today is strengthening the connection between assessment and learning. To support this effort, researchers draw variously on developments across technology, analytic methods, assessment design frameworks, research in learning domains, and cognitive, social, and situated psychology. The study lays out the connection among three such developments, namely learning progressions, evidence-centered assessment design (ECD), and dynamic Bayesian modeling for measuring students’ advancement along learning progression in a substantive domain. Their conjunction can be applied in both formative and summative assessment uses. In addition, this study conducted an application study in domain of beginning computer network engineering for illustrating the ideas with data drawn from the Cisco Networking Academy’s online assessment system.

Development of E-Learning Learning Models in English Subjects

This research aims to develop and test an E-learning model for effective English teaching for class XI students in the Computer Network Engineering program at SMKN 3 Batam. This model aims to improve the quality of English language learning in the digital era. It follows a research and development (R&D) process that includes four stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. Based on the evaluation results, this E-learning learning model has succeeded in increasing interactivity between students and teachers, increasing access to learning materials, and raising students' enthusiasm for learning English. It helps the independent development of English language skills through interactive activities, exercises, and online exams. Based on research findings, the effectiveness of the E-learning model is in the medium category, with a Gain Score test score of 0.54 indicating its success in improving student learning outcomes. Based on the findings of this research, it can be concluded that this e-learning model is valid, practical, and effective, offers an alternative English language learning that is innovative, effective, and relevant in the digital era, and can serve as a model for other schools interested in implementing language learning. Pengembangan trainer robot line follower dan revitalisasi pembelajaran abad 21 menuju era society 5.0 di SMK Negeri 1 Kras Kediri

To support industrial development in the era of super-smart society 5.0, the State Vocational High School 1 Kras Kediri seeks to produce competent graduates by applying a teaching model that has a constructive paradigm, involves the active role of students, and prioritizes practicum. It is intended that SMK graduates can compete in the 21st-century industry. The problem of schools today is the lack of complete learning support equipment. So that learning is less effective. On the other hand, the implementation of learning is still dominated by a teacher-oriented learning system. So to support the Computer Network Engineering skill competency program in basic programming subjects, a Line Follower Robot Trainer was developed. The Line Follower Robot Trainer that has been made has sophisticated specifications using an ESP32 microcontroller processor. In addition, 21st-century learning revitalization workshops were also conducted which were attended by teachers of SMK Negeri 1 Kras Kediri to strengthen the 21st-century learning paradigm based on students (student-oriented learning). In general, the results of the community service program that have been implemented can overcome the problems faced by SMK Negeri 1 Kras, the Computer Engineering expertise program in programming subjects.

Development of interactive video as learning media on fiber optic for class XI students of computer network engineering

This study aims to develop an interactive video on fiber optic material for students of class XI computer network engineering that is valid and practical. The subject of this research is class XI majoring in computer and network engineering at SMKN 4 Bandar Lampung. The method used in this research is R&D using the Branch development model which includes the ADDIE steps, namely the first; analysis (preparation and analysis of needs), second; design (designing the product to be developed), third; fourth development (Test material experts and media experts); product implementation (planning, preparation, testing educators' perceptions and student readability), fifth; evaluation. This development research produces products that meet the valid and practical categories.

A Portable Computer Network Laboratory Model for Competency-Based Curriculum

Computer networking technology has greatly evolved and continues to be an integral part of different aspects of our lives. The technology is no longer confined to business settings but is now predominant in personal and home devices. This has created a surge of career opportunities and consequently created a demand for manpower with a matching skill set for supporting the data networks that depend on these technologies. A competency-based curriculum (CBC) is a paradigm shift in education that transforms the conventional learning processes by promoting hands-on learner experiences and the traditional emphasis on basic networking principles. Experimental learning within a lab environment is essential to reinforcing computer networking knowledge and to ascertain that the learner is mastering content as well as getting better at what they are doing. CBC has great potential and is likely to transform examination-based learning, which results in less innovation at all levels of education. One of the challenges of learning computer networking is the provision of and access to networking laboratory equipment. This paper addresses this gap by proposing a portable computer network laboratory that will support the delivery of a competency-based computer network engineering curriculum.

PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI PENGELOLAAN KEUANGAN SEKOLAH BERBASIS WEB DAN SMS GATEWAY DI SMK JAYABEKA 02 KARAWANG

SMK Jayabeka 02 is a private school located in the Karawang area, which has 4 expertise programs, namely mechanical engineering, light vehicle automotive engineering, office administration and computer network engineering. School financial management still uses Microsoft Excel which requires accuracy in managing and recording, then the data processing process requires a lot of time and energy if the data is already queuing a lot. The purpose of this study is to facilitate the administrative transactions of school payments and expenses as well as to produce accurate data and increase the confidence of parents in students and schools. The method used is observation, interviews and literature study to obtain the required data and use SDLC for the system development model described by the waterfall. With the creation of the system, it is hoped that it can further facilitate every existing process and can improve the quality and trust of parents of students towards students and the school.

PENGARUH MEDIA APLIKASI PAKET TRACER MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING TERHADAP MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR MATA PELAJARAN ADMNISTRASI INFRASTRUKTUR JARINGAN SISWA KELAS XI TKJ DI SMKN 2 BANGKALAN

One of the formal educational institutions is SMK Negeri 2 Bangkalan, which has a field of expertise in Computer Network Engineering, where graduates are expected to be able to compete in the business world, especially in the field of Computer Network Engineering. One of the productive subjects that support the achievement of skilled and creative quality graduates is Network Infrastructure Administration. In this subject, students are expected to be able to apply and practice their knowledge in the field of Computer Network Engineering. For this reason, students must really master network design and modeling, one of which is mastering the subject of Network Infrastructure Administration. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach with experimental techniques on a population and research sample of 54 students. research data collection using questionnaires and tests that have gone through the stages of testing the validity and reliability. Analysis of research data using statistical methods with the formula t-test one sample and multiple correlations. Based on this analysis, the conclusions of the study are described, among others: 1) the learning motivation of Class XI TKJ students at SMKN 2 Bangkalan is quite good, 2) the implementation of problem based learning learning models in Class XI TKJ at SMKN 2 Bangkalan is quite good, 3) Utilization of Package Application Media Tracer in Class XI TKJ at SMKN 2 Bangkalan is quite good, 4) there is a significant influence between the utilization of the Tracer Package Application Media through the Problem Based Learning Learning Model and learning motivation on the learning outcomes of Class XI TKJ students at SMKN 2 Bangkalan

The purpose of the study was to find out how the ability to write job application letters for class XII students of SMK Negeri 2 Depok City in 2019-2020 and to find out whether cooperative learning with the Think-Pair-Share model could improve the ability to write cover letters for class XII students of SMK Negeri 2 Depok City. This study uses classroom action research (action research) in two rounds (cycles). Each round consists of four stages, namely: planning, activities and observations, reflection, and revision. The target of this research is Class XII Computer Network Engineering (TKJ) SMK Negeri 2 Depok City in 2019-2020. The data obtained in the form of subjective test results and observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. The results show, class XII students of TKJ SMK Negeri 2 Depok City in 2019-2020 are able to write job applications. This can be seen from the average score of students' ability to write job application letters and student learning completeness in cycle I and cycle II has increased. The average score of students' ability to write job application letters in the first cycle was 72.77 and learning completeness reached 64.70%. The average score of students' ability to write job application letters in cycle II was 78.38 and learning completeness reached 85.29%. The application of the Think-Pair-Share model of cooperative learning has a positive influence on Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM). Think-Pair-Share model of cooperative learning can improve student learning outcomes. This is indicated by the average student answers stating that students are interested and interested in the Think-Pair-Share cooperative learning method so that they become motivated to learn.

Klasterisasi Penempatan Siswa yang Optimal untuk Meningkatkan Nilai Rata-Rata Kelas Menggunakan K-Means

The implementation of learning by teachers can measure the quality of schools and students. Schools with diverse student backgrounds need to take strategic steps in managing learning to get optimal learning outcomes. Good learning designs and techniques can motivate students' interest in learning. The teacher's role is very important in managing learning to create an effective teaching and learning process. Data Mining or also known as Knowledge Discovery in Database (KDD) is the process of extracting knowledge from large data to find new patterns to get new knowledge and information. Data Mining technology is used to explore existing knowledge in the database. One of the methods used in data mining is clustering with the K-Means algorithm. This study aims to conduct student clustering to obtain a balanced class composition in order to improve the quality and student learning outcomes as seen in the increasing in the class average score. The data processed in this study came from the main school data as many as 90 students of the XI class of Computer Network Engineering Skills Competency at SMKN Negeri 2 Padang Panjang in the 2020/2021 school year. The variables used in data processing are student scores, parents' income and the distance from where students live to school. The student clustering calculation using K-Means succeeded in grouping 90 students into 3 clusters where cluster 1 totaled 47 students, cluster 2 totaled 10 students and cluster 3 totaled 33 students. Each member of the cluster will be divided evenly into 3 groups studying to get a balanced class composition. This research can be used as a basis for decision making by schools in clustering student placements to improve learning outcomes. By the increasing in the grade point average, the school average score will also increased.

Application of RFID internet of things for school empowerment towards smart school

State Vocational High School (SMK) 1 Perhentian Raja is a school located in Hangtuah village which is known as a catfish-producing village in Kampar Riau Regency, which has a major in Computer Network Engineering (TKJ) and Fisheries Cultivation. After making direct observations to the location of the Community Partnership Program (PKM), we found various forms of partner problems in education services, including student absenteeism which is still manual. The teacher will call the students one by one and then marked by the teacher on the attendance sheet. This will use teaching time in the classroom and laboratory, as a result learning activities will be less effective. This problem is also faced by librarians, with low student visits to the library. Meanwhile, other problems are parking services and school security. the condition of the school is still new, the condition of the school is still open will have an impact on the weakness of school security. especially with parking conditions that are still scattered and not neatly arranged, it will provoke crime in schools. 95 percent of students and teachers using motorized vehicles to school will make it difficult for school guards to maintain the vehicle. The solutions offered to achieve this PKM goal are Smart School Socialization, Internet of Things (IoT) training, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology workshops, RFID Technology Training for Student Attendance and School Libraries, Parking RFID Assembly Training, and School CCTV Installation Training. , RFID and CCTV Maintenance Workshop. The output targets to be achieved from this PKM can be felt by students, teachers and schools. RFID and CCTV technology will provide educational services and school security. This PKM activity will have an impact on improving the quality of education and become one of the reference schools in the Perhentian Raja sub-district, Kampar district.
