The paper proposes a numerical model to compute pressure distributions underneath loose-laid roofing paver systems given the pressure distribution on the exterior surface of the system. The model applies Darcy's law to the flows beneath and between pavers. A boundary-value problem about the underneath pressure is obtained and solved analytically, and a system of linear algebraic equations is established and solved numerically. A good agreement is found between the numerical and experimental results.
