Rehabilitation of cardiological patients with post-COVID syndrome: morphofunctional data report

INTRODUCTION. Post-COVID is a common complication of COVID-19, occurring in more than a third of patients, and condition will persist for more than 3 months after infection with the SARS-CoV-2. AIM. To evaluate impact and potential effectiveness of a comprehensive physical rehabilitation program on health of cardiac patients with complications of a previously suffered new coronavirus infection SARS-CoV-2 COVID-19. MATERIALS AND METHODS. The study involved 128 cardiology patients with post-COVID syndrome. The study participants comprised three groups depending on the 12-week physical rehabilitation program. The effectiveness of rehabilitation was assessed through parameters of cardiopulmonary testing, as well as the 6-minute walk exercise test and the degree of dyspnea according to modified mMRC dyspnea questionnaire. RESULTS. The mMCR index in CPR group was 1.0 [0.0–1.0] point, compared with 2.0 [1.0–2.0] in control and comparative groups (p 0.05); exercise tolerance VO2max increased by 8.3 ± 3.8 % (p 0.05); normalization of heart rate and blood pressure in response to physical activity after 12 weeks in intervention group was 5.0 ± 2.1 % compared to comparative and control groups; 6MWT test results 688 m, in the intervention group, versus 490 m, for participants in control group (p 0.05). DISCUSSION. A comparative analysis of previously conducted studies confirmed pattern between the inclusion of combined cardiorespiratory training in the protocol for 12-week rehabilitation of post-COVID complications among cardiac patients, and a decrease in the degree of shortness of breath, as well as an increase in exercise tolerance. CONCLUSIONS. Based on experimental data obtained, it is advisable to analyze the effects of Cardiopulmonary Physical Rehabilitation program in the framework of larger randomized clinical trials. This will allow a more detailed assessment of the clinical consequences, as well as the ability to adjust mode and dose of physical activity of proposed rehabilitation program.

Complex Physical Rehabilitation of Women of Reproductive Age with Stage I Hypertensive Heart Disease

Background. Hypertensive heart disease (HD) is a chronic abnormality that affects various systems of the body and is especially unfavorable for women of reproductive age. The purpose of the study was to develop a comprehensive program of physical rehabilitation for young women suffering with stage I hypertensive heart disease at the outpatient stage of rehabilitation and evaluate its effectiveness. Materials and methods. 42 young women with a diagnosis of HD were randomly divided into two groups: one performing traditional physical rehabilitation (control group) and the other following a method based on the Pilates system. Questionnaire, Martinet-Kushelevsky test, modified Romberg test, and Deshin test were performed. Results. Questionnaire and examination for determination of therapeutic tasks in the application of physical rehabilitation show improvement due to the use of the suggested methodology. Indicators of Martinet-Kushelevsky test improved from 2.46 points to 5.48 points (p<0.01) which is better (p<0.05) than in the case of the traditional methodology where they changed from 2.44 to 4.61 (p<0.01). Kotov-Deshin test results show improvement in both groups evenly but the test results of the women of the main group improved from “unsatisfactory” to “good”, and those of the women of the control group improved from “unsatisfactory” to “satisfactory” with significantly better results in the main group (p<0.05). Distribution of the Romberg test results show improvement of vestibular stability in all participants of the main group. Conclusions. The proposed program of complex physical rehabilitation of patients with stage I hypertensive heart disease using the Pilates method proved to be effective. Due to this program, there was a significant decrease in heart rate, systolic and diastolic pressure, an improvement in the response of the cardiovascular system to the Martinet-Kushelevsky functional test as well as in the state of the respiratory and nervous systems, as evidenced primarily by the indicators of hypoxic tests, spirometry, clino- and orthostatic tests, with the Romberg and Deshin methods.

Evaluation of indicators of goniometry of the ankle joint in the complex rehabilitation of athletes with peroneal tendinopathy

The study reflects the results of comprehensive rehabilitation of professional athletes with fibular tendinopathy. The effectiveness was evaluated based on the indicators of goniometry of the ankle joint at different stages of the rehabilitation process.Objective. To evaluate the effectiveness of the developed comprehensive program of physical rehabilitation with tendinopathy of the fibular tendons.Materials and methods. The study involved 60 professional male athletes with the diagnosis of “fibular tendinopathy” established by ultrasound examination. All patients were randomly divided into two equal groups of 30 people. Group I patients, in addition to the main ones, were assigned specially designed exercises for balance, balance and proprioceptive sensitivity on the Biodex Balance System (BBS) biofeedback system (Biodex Medical Systems, Inc. New York, USA), as well as balancing disksResults. The percentage of reduction in the total amplitude of movement in the ankle joint, that is, its deficiency, statistically significantly differed between the groups. Thus, at the time of examination before the start of treatment, the total amplitude deficit in group I patients was 13.2°, and in group II – 14.0°. At week 6 after the start of treatment, this indicator improved in group I patients and amounted to 3.8°, and in group II – 12.2°.

Особливості фізичної терапії при плече-лопатоковому періартриті

The purpose of the study was to develop a comprehensive program of physical rehabilitation to improve the course of shoulder-scapular periarthritis in patients with the help of therapeutic massage with elements of manual therapy. Materials and methods. The paper presents the results of studying the effect of physical therapy in shoulder-scapular periarthritis. The main group included 37 patients aged 50–75 years with shoulder-scapular periarthritis who underwent a complex rehabilitation program proposed by us, including massage. The control group consisted of 33 patients in the same age category who were prescribed a standard rehabilitation program by a physical therapy doctor. Results and discussion. The term humeroscapular periarthritis was first proposed in 1872. This is how the syndrome was characterized, including stiffness and the presence of chronic pain in the area of the shoulder joint that occurs after an injury. The prevalence of humeroscapular periarthritis among the adult population is 4–7%, with age it increases (from 3–4% at the age of 40–44 years to 15–20% at the age of 60–70 years). An important condition for a faster and more effective treatment of humeroscapular periarthritis is massage. Its main task is to prevent the development of limited mobility of the joints and coarse scar tissue, prevent muscle atrophy and restore the functional affiliation of the upper limbs. As a result of the treatment, significant improvement was noted in 26 patients, improvement – in 9 patients, insignificant effect was noted in 2 patients. So, before the operation, pain syndrome according to visual analogue scale was on average 6.4 ± 0.39, in the early postoperative period – 5.1 ± 0.19, in the late recovery period – 1.7 ± 0.14. The effectiveness of complex treatment when affecting the affected limb was 3.4 points in dynamics before and after the massage course. Thus, the comparative characteristics of the two examined groups of patients according to functional results, even according to an incomplete list of clinical and biomechanical indicators of statics and dynamics, showed the effectiveness of conducting a comprehensive program of rehabilitation measures. Taking into account the high prevalence of diseases of the musculoskeletal system, we consider it advisable to use manual therapy methods more widely in patients with shoulder-scapular periarthritis. Conclusion. After a course of massage with elements of manual therapy, the majority of patients noted positive dynamics, elimination of pain syndrome, restoration of the function of the affected limb

Laser Therapy in the Comprehensive Program of Physical Rehabilitation of Athletes with Chronic Patellar Tendinopathy

Aim: Determining the effectiveness of the developed comprehensive physical rehabilitation program for athletes with chronic patellar tendinopathy. Materials and Methods: Participants were randomly divided into the main and control groups consisting of 11 people each. The complex rehabilitation program in the main group combined laser therapy and different types of therapeutic exercises, in the control group the laser therapy was excluded. The effectiveness of the intervention was evaluated by the intensity of pain in the patella (Visual Analog Scale) and the functional ability of the knee (VISA-P scale). Results: At the end of the intervention, a significant reduction in pain was observed in both groups. The average scores on the VAS scale were reduced to 2.0 points in the main group and to 3.5 in the control one. The share of patients, whose pain was eased, was 27.27 per cent in the main group, in the control group such people were not detected. After two months of intervention according to the results of the VISA-P scale in both study groups, there was an improvement in the functional capacity of the knee joint. Thus, the average number of points increased by 30.5 points in the main group, and by 12.0 in the control one. Conclusions: The use of high-frequency laser therapy in a comprehensive program of physical rehabilitation of patients with patellar tendinopathy shows better results for reducing pain and improving the functioning of the knee joint than without it. We believe that high-frequency laser therapy can be used as an important adjunct to various types of therapeutic exercises in the comprehensive rehabilitation of patients with patellar tendinopathy.

Особливості проведення фізичної реабілітації при часто рецидивуючому типу перебігу виразкової хвороби

The article deals with the results of single-stage and multi-stage rehabilitation treatment of patients with often recurrent peptic ulcer disease. The aim of the investigation: to study and improve a comprehensive physical rehabilitation program for people who are actively involved in sports with recurrent peptic ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum. Material and methods. The study involved 42 patients with peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum with often recurrent type (age 18–28). The results of the study: The first experimental group was recommended treatment at all stages of rehabilitation (inpatient, outpatient and sanatorium). During 9 months, each patient received treatment in a hospital (day hospital), clinic and sanatorium. The second control group underwent rehabilitation measures only at the inpatient or outpatient stage. Diet therapy, phytotherapy, medical physical training, physiotherapy were used at all stages of rehabilitation treatment.The effectiveness of treatment and rehabilitation was assessed by the following indicators: the dynamics of subjective and objective manifestations of the disease, the condition of the mucous membrane of the stomach and duodenum and the frequency of recurrences during the year. In the period between treatments, treatment methods were recommended to perform them at home (diet therapy, kinesitherapy, etc.). After rehabilitation and staged treatment, observation of patients lasted 12 months. Analysis of the disease course indicates that the prolonged treatment of peptic ulcer disease with the use of various rehabilitation measures in the inpatient, outpatient and sanatorium, reduced the number of exacerbations during the year and the number of hospitalizations compared to cases where patients underwent only one stage of rehabilitation.The greater efficiency of multi-stage treatment indicates the data obtained during the examination of the state of acid formation in the stomach. Conclusion: Rehabilitation should be carried out continuously, including all stages of rehabilitation and continue until maximum recovery is achieved.

Restoration of Upper Limb Motor Function After Stroke

Since the task of eliminating the consequences of a stroke remains unsolved, research on the use of robotic simulators equipped with feedback to restore upper limb motor functions is of particular relevance. Aim of the study was to conduct an experimental evaluation of the effectiveness of the use of the Anika sensory glove with biological feedback for the restoration of upper extremity motor function in the early period of ischemic stroke. Materials and methods. We analyzed 108 medical histories and selected 28 patients with a single history of stroke and moderate cognitive disorders, which were divided into 2 groups - control and experimental with 14 individuals each. Patients of the control group engaged in therapeutic physical culture according to the traditional methodology adopted in neurological practice and aimed at restoring muscle strength, passive and active movements of the upper extremity. Trainings using the sensory glove Anika with biological feedback were included in the therapeutic physical culture training program for the experimental group. Results. The inclusion of special exercises on the Anika simulator with biological feedback in a comprehensive physical rehabilitation program increases the effectiveness of the recovery process, contributing to improving articular mobility, reducing spasticity, increasing muscle strength of the hand, reducing the level of personal and situational anxiety, normalizing psychoemotional state and increasing the functional mobility of stroke patients. Conclusion. The use of the sensory glove Anika with biological feedback in the early recovery period contributed to the expansion of the motor activity of patients, the development of self-care skills, psychological and social adaptation.

THE USE OF 3-PLANE SCHROTH GYMNASTYCS IN THE TREATMENT OF GRADE 2 SCOLIOSIS

Background: Scoliosis is defined as deformity of the spinal column and torso in three dimensions. The cause of scoliosis remains unknown. Therefore, such scoliosis is called idiopathic. Adolescent idiopathic scoliosis is one of the most common structural deformities of the spine in adolescents, which aggravates during an active growth. Physical rehabilitation plays an important role in the system of complex conservative treatment of scoliotic disease. The most effective conservative treatment is 3-plane gymnastics according to the method of C. Schroth and brace therapy according to Abbott-Cheneau principle Objective: Improving a comprehensive program of physical rehabilitation for adolescents with scoliotic disease of the second degree by the method of Schrott and determining its effectiveness. Methods: We examined 14 patients aged 11–15 years with scoliotic disease of the second degree. These patients were divided into 2 groups: main and control (7 persons in each, respectively). In patients of the main group the complex treatment of scoliosis that included Schroth's method in combination with massage and brace therapy was used. In the control group comprehensive rehabilitation treatment included restorative and preventive measures according to the generally accepted program. Results: The use of Schroth technique in a comprehensive physical rehabilitation program better reduced Cobb's angle of deviation of the spine, increased strength endurance of the back and abdominal muscles, improved formation of the muscular corset, largely eliminated cosmetic defects. Conclusion: Schroth's technique had a positive effect on Cobb's angle and other parameters in adolescent girls with a grade 2 scoliosis. The multi- component Schroth technique, which includes passive correction, self-stretching and corrected breathing creates conditions for is necessary to be widely implemented in clinical practice.

ХАРАКТЕРНІ ОСОБЛИВОСТІ РУХОВОЇ АКТИВНОСТІ ТА ДІЄЗДАТНОСТІ СТУДЕНТОК З ОЖИРІННЯМ

Стан здоров’я студентської молоді залежить від багатьох чинників, серед яких важливе місцезаймає здоровий спосіб життя та систематичні заняття фізичними вправами. У теперішній час невикликає сумнівів факт позитивного впливу фізичних вправ на стан фізичного і психічного здоров’я,поліпшення діяльності серцево-судинної, дихальної та інших систем й підтримку оптимального рівня розвитку фізичних якостей людини. Визначити характерні особливості фізичної активності та рухової дієздатності студенток з ожирінням. Під час дослідження використовували теоретичний аналіз фахової науково-методичної літератури методи визначення рухової активності, рухової дієздатності, математичної статистики. Встановлено, що студентки з ожирінням характеризуються малорухомим способом життя, що обумовлено дефіцитом фізичних навантажень. Порівняльний аналіз рівня рухової активності студенток за типами ожирінням показав відсутність статистично значущих (p>0,05) відмінностей між величинами компонентів рухової активності у студенток із ожирінням глютеофеморального типу в порівнянні зі студентами із ожирінням абдомінального типу, за виключенням тривалості перебування в сидячому положенні, яке в студенток з абдомінальним типом ожирінням виявилося статистично значуще (p<0,05) більшим, порівняно зі студентками з глютеофеморальним типом ожиріння. Доведено, що 11,1% студенток з ожирінням глютеофеморального типу мають оптимальний, 23,3% допустимий, а 33,3% менше за критичний рівнем рухової дієздатності. Встановлені характерні особливості рухової активності та рухової дієздатності є передумовою для побудови комплексної програми фізичної реабілітації, спрямованої на корекцію ваги тіла студенток з абдомінальним та глютеофеморальним типами ожиріння.Ключові слова: рухова активність, рухова дієздатність, ожиріння, студентки.

Physical rehabilitation of older school children with scoliosis with some neurological diseases

The results of application of the program of physical rehabilitation (therapy) of high school children with scoliosis I degree in some neurological diseases are presented.
 The purpose of the study is to substantiate a comprehensive program of physical rehabilitation for the correction of spinal curvature by improving the functional state of the musculoskeletal apparatus and improving the effectiveness of rehabilitation measures for high school children with scoliosis I degree in some neurological diseases.
 Research methods: pedagogical (theoretical analysis and generalization of pedagogical and medical-biological literature); medical-biological (tonometry, pulsometry, tests to determine the functional state of the spine, anthropometric examination), as well as methods of mathematical statistics.
 Results: The study was based on a clinical and functional examination of 16 children aged 14 to 17 years with scoliotic defects of the spine in some neurological diseases (experimental group) who underwent various rehabilitation measures. The control group consisted of 20 peers with grade 1 scoliosis without neurological symptoms.

НЕТРАДИЦІЙНІ ЗАСОБИ ВІДНОВЛЕННЯ ПРИ ФІЗИЧНІЙ РЕАБІЛІТАЦІЇ ХВОРИХ ПІСЛЯ ПЕРЕЛОМУ ХРЕБТА

Introduction. Motor rehabilitation of patients with lower paraplegia syndrome is a part of medical rehabilitation measures set. The physical rehabilitation plan is built taking into account the predicted level of compensation of locomotor functions, which depends on the injury time, the level and the degree of damage. The complex of restorative conservative treatment includes in various combinations such tools as medical physical education, massage, physiotherapy, electrical stimulation of muscles, mechanotherapy, manual therapy and orthosis. These tools of physical rehabilitation require rational integration in the rehabilitation complex. Research hypothesis of the study is that using of the proposed rehabilitation complex will improve the psychophysical condition in patients after a fracture of the spine. Aim of the study: To substantiate and develop a comprehensive program of physical rehabilitation using nontraditional tools for patients after spinal fracture and to evaluate its effectiveness. Material and methods of research. We examined 7 men and 5 women in age from 30 to 50 who underwent physical rehabilitation in a fitness center. The rehabilitation complex contained such tools of physical rehabilitation as therapeutic gymnastics, classical massage, physiotherapy, mechanotherapy, mud treatment and heat treatment (sauna). Aromatherapy (with essential oils of eucalyptus, juniper or lavender), apitherapy (using honey massage), samurai massage (bamboo brooms) and stone massage (hot and cold stones) were additionally used as non-traditional means during the massage. Results. Analysis of the Spielberger-Hanin Anxiety Diagnostic Test, the Recovery Locus of Control Questionnaire, and the evaluation of the locomotor function by the Houser Walking Index have shown positive dynamics. Conclusions. The effectiveness of a 30-day rehabilitation course aimed at restoring the motor activity of the paretic limbs at the fitness center has been proved. Methods of Hydrokinesis Therapy for Children 3-5 Years with Cerebral Palsy of Spastic Form

Today there is a need to develop a method of hydrokinesis therapy as a means of gradual formation of motor skills in children with spastic diplegia of cerebral palsy of the chronic-residual stage of the disease in a comprehensive program of physical rehabilitation. The purpose of the study is to develop a method of hydrokinesis therapy for children 3-5 years with cerebral palsy of spastic form. The main novelties of the developed technique of hydrokinesis therapy: development of application of complexes of exercises in hydrokinesis therapy, which differs in structure from the generally accepted methods for patients with cerebral palsy of spastic form in the chronic-residual stage of the disease; combination of means of physical rehabilitation with the technique of hydrokinesis therapy during the annual cycle. The study involved 24 children 3-5 years of age with a diagnosis of "cerebral palsy, spastic diplegia" of the chronic-residual stage of the disease of moderate severity. To achieve this goal, theoretical analysis and generalization of data from scientific and methodological literature were used; pedagogical experiment and observation; medical and biological methods (used anthropometry and Pinier index; goniometry, assessment of basic motor functions (ABMF) on the Likert scale, muscle tone on the Ashfort scale, muscle strength on the Lovett scale; assessment of manipulative activity and speed response of the hands on trapping- the test made it possible to determine the level of development of fine motor skills); sociological methods (surveys of parents on questionnaires of social and emotional state and level of children's play activities); methods of mathematical statistics were used to process the actual experimental material, assess the reliability of the data. There were significant (p <0.01) changes in the indicators of social and emotional state in children with main group (MG) by 15.5%, in comparative group (CG) - by 11.7%, and there was a slight improvement in play activity in children with MG by 9.6%, in CG - by 5.75%. The developed method of hydrokinesiotherapy is effective and helps to improve the functions of general and fine motor skills, socio-emotional state and the level of activity of play activities of children 3-5 years with cerebral palsy of spastic form.

Dynamics of the electrospondilography indices of the individuals with back pain under the influencing of the physical rehabilitation program. Physical rehabilitation of the individuals with back pain

Back pain (BP) is an important link in neurological pathology and one of the most common complaints in general medicine practice. The purpose of the research was: scientifically and strategically substantiate and develop a comprehensive physical rehabilitation program of persons with dorsalgia in the thoracic spine and to prove its effectiveness according to the data of the electrospondilography. Materials and methods. The study was conducted on the basis of the sports and rehabilitation club “Fifth Element” in Kyiv, 67 patients (25 men and 42 women) were taking part in our research, of the working-age with BP on the thoracic level. Results. Based on the results of previous studies, we have developed a complex physical rehabilitation program for patients with BP on the thoracic spine, which included various tools and forms of physical rehabilitation, elements of modern fitness techniques, soft tissue and connective tissue manipulative techniques, and a cognitive method -conductive therapy. Conclusion. The effectiveness of the developed program of patients with BP in the thoracic department was evaluated after the completion of the course – after 12 weeks. According to the data of ESG, the positive dynamics of indicators K1, K2, K3, К4 was observed in both the MG and CG. However, only in the MG of changes in K3 and K4 indicators were statistically significant.

Complex physical rehabilitation of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease at a polyclinic stage of treatment

IntroductionThe study was to assess the effectiveness of a comprehensive physical rehabilitation program based on the dynamics of the functional parameters of the respiratory and cardiovascular systems, and the tolerance of daily stress in middle-aged patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The incidence of COPD continues to grow, and life expectancy of the patients is shortened by an average of 8 years. Globally, losses from COPD are projected to increase over the coming decades owing to the long-term exposure to risk factors and population aging. A significant role in improving COPD patients condition and preventing the disease is played by physical rehabilitation.MethodsAnalysis of modern scientific literature, content analysis of outpatient documentation, conclusions of X-ray examinations, anthropometric measurements, pulse oximetry, arterial tonometry, spirographic studies, 6-minute walk distance, methods of mathematical statistics.ResultsA comprehensive physical rehabilitation program was developed for use in a polyclinic, which included a common set of physical exercises combined with breathing gymnastics with elements of superficial breathing, sound gymnastics, therapeutic massage, nebulizer therapy, Nordic walking. After the program application, chest excursion increased and airway patency statistically significantly improved. The exercise tolerance of the cardiovascular system increased.ConclusionsThe physical rehabilitation program for middle-aged COPD patients contributed to the economization of the respiratory system, slowing down the recovery of cardiovascular parameters, and improving the tolerance of daily exercise, which was confirmed by mathematical processing.

Динаміка показників серцево-судинної системи й адаптаційного потенціалу у студентів з хронічним бронхітом

Purpose: to determine the impact of the physical rehabilitation program on the state of the cardiovascular system and changes in the adaptive capacity of students with chronic bronchitis. Material & Methods: theoretical analysis of literature and generalization of scientific, methodological and specialized literature; pulseometry, arterial tonometry, a technique for determining the adaptive potential by R. M. Baevsky; methods of mathematical statistics. Results : a comprehensive program of physical rehabilitation was made taking into account the two stages of the period of convalescence, clinical and biological recovery, for students of the same group, additional application of varieties of walking and running on various health-normalizing regimes. After applying the program of physical rehabilitation of students of both groups, a slowdown in the recovery of all cardiovascular parameters and changes in the adaptive potential of the circulatory system was noted, however, the best results were obtained in a group of students, additionally, the versions of walking were used in various health-normalizing regimes with a combination of permutations of hand movements. Conclusion: confirmation of the effectiveness of the developed program of physical rehabilitation was a statistically significant improvement in the cardiovascular system, a slowdown in recovery processes after exercise, an increase in the number of students with a state of satisfactory adaptation.

Динаміка показників емпіричного дослідження та біогеометричного профілю у борців – ветеранів спорту з остеохондрозом попереково-крижового відділу хребта

Purpose : to evaluate the effectiveness of the program of physical rehabilitation on the basis of studying the dynamics of indicators of empirical research, vertebro-neurological symptoms and biogeometric profile in wrestlers – veterans of sports with osteochondrosis of the lumbosacral spine . Material & Methods: theoretical analysis and generalization of literature data; use of diagnostic scales (visual analogue pain scale (VAS), scale of five-point evaluation of vertebro-neurological symptoms), determination of mobility of the lumbosacral spine, Schober's test, Tommyer test – fingers-floor test; methods of mathematical statistics . Results: based on the results of the study, a statistically significant dynamics of the parameters of the empirical study, the parameters of the biogeometric profile in the wrestlers – the veterans of the main group sport, was found in the course of physical rehabilitation according to the developed program with the application of therapeutic gymnastics, exercises in post-isometric relaxation. Conclusion: the results of the study confirmed the effectiveness of the comprehensive physical rehabilitation program developed by us, showed that a positive effect on the index of pain, vertebro-neurological symptoms, an increase in the amplitude of the spinal motion in both the sagittal and frontal planes .

The purpose of the study was to develop and introduce comprehensive physical rehabilitation program for pregnant women with physiological course of pregnancy.Materials and methods. 150 pregnant women, who were divided into two groups depending on the used prophylactic actions, have been studied retrospectively.Results of the research and their discussion. It was found out that pregnant women with regular psychoprophylactice and physical rehabilitation had no complications such as miscarriage and preterm delivery, placenta previa, placental disfunction, fetal distress. The average number of hospitalizations during pregnancy was lower to 50 %. 100% pregnancies finished with term deliveries in women from control groups. But some from basic group had only 90,1 % of term deliveries. 2,5 % of women from control group and 11,7 % of women from basic grouped pathological deliveries.Conclusions. The results showed that the suggested program of physical rehabilitation had a positive effect on the pregnant women providing an adequate psyhoemotional support and the dominant of favorable course of pregnancy and delivery; stabilized the functional condition of women; and decreased the risk of obstetrics complications.

Якість життя ветеранів спорту з остеохондрозом попереково-крижового відділу хребта

Purpose: t o establish the effect of a comprehensive program of physical rehabilitation on the quality of life of wrestlers – veterans of sports with osteochondrosis of the lumbosacral spine in the training motor regime. Material & Methods: 34 athletes-veterans at the age of 36–45 years, a kind of struggle – judo and sambo-wrestling took part in the study. Sports qualification of athletes: MS – 25 people, MSIG – 9 people. The test was carried out on the verbal assessment scale of pain, the degree of vertebro-neurological disorders was assessed, the standard of living for the Oswestrovsky questionnaire was determined. Result s: after application of the proposed comprehensive physical rehabilitation program for wrestlers – veterans of sports of the MG in 68% of cases, complaints were absent, the degree of vertebro-neurological disorders decreased, the results of the questionnaire on the Oswestrovsky questionnaire showed a statistically significant decrease in complaints of pain in various spheres of life. Conclusion: the positive influence of the developed program of physical rehabilitation on the quality of life of wrestlers – veterans of sports are proved.

Purpose: to analyze and summarize the main approaches to the appointment of the main physiotherapeutic and balneological factors in the complex treatment of patients with gouty arthritis in the conditions of sanatorium treatment.Material & Methods: analysis of modern scientific and scientific-methodological literature on the problem of physical rehabilitation of patients with gout. Results: the main approaches to the appointment of modern methods of physiotherapy in combination with hydropathic and mud factors in the complex treatment of patients with gouty arthritis at the sanatorium stage of rehabilitation. Conclusions: the results of the study can be used as a basis for compiling a comprehensive physical rehabilitation program for patients with gouty arthritis in a sanatorium stage of rehabilitation.

Joint Hypermobility Syndrome in Infants

In the article considered the problem and treatment of joint hypermobility syndrome of people in different ages, especially of children of the first year of life. The mission of the theoretical study is expected the realization of the system analysis of scientific and methodological literature on the topic, studying methods of examination and reformation of individuals with the joint hypermobility syndrome; identifying the key issues of differential diagnosis of infants with the syndrome of joints hypermobility, burdened with delayed development of general motor skills; analysis of physical rehabilitation of children in the above-mentioned age and nosological category. Methods of the analysis include the theoretical analysis, synthesis and generalization of the literary sources. In the article emphasized the concept of screening and identifying the manifestation of joints hypermobility in individuals of different ages. It demonstrates the necessity of the application of differentiated diagnostic testing of locomotors areas in infants and application of appropriate specific examinations for the objective evaluation of these patients. In particular, there is a proposed use of the following tests: the visual assessment of the child’s arbitrary posture at rest and in motion, test on tone muscles, test for traction, determining whether there are «symptoms of a composite blade» and «symptom of flaccid shoulder», detection of supportive functions of legs, arms, determination and volume resistance of passive movements. Attention focused on the necessity to find a comprehensive physical rehabilitation program for the effective and rapid formation of motor functions in infants. As a result of the theoretical research, it is possible be concluded that the clinical studies of the joint hypermobility syndrome, the consequences of this pathology and directions towards its correction in the literal sources are not enough highlighted. It demands the improvement of methods of the diagnosis delay in motor areas in infants at the presence of joints hypermobility. It is necessary to optimize the programs of physical rehabilitation in infants with the developmental delay of locomotion to prevent complications of their features musculou-ligamentous apparatus.
