Odontoma is considered the most common odontogenic tumor. We report 2 cases of odontoma and highlight their main clinical findings and treatment. A 29-year-old patient was referred due to routine radiographic finding of a lesion in the posterior mandible, characteristic of a compound odontoma, in a close relationship with the inferior alveolar nerve and distal root of tooth 37. The cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) confirmed the diagnostic hypothesis and the patient underwent surgical removal with preservation of noble anatomical structures. At the 16-month follow-up, there was no recurrence. A 15-year-old patient was referred to the dental surgeon due to the lack of eruption of tooth 13. Radiographic examination and CBCT revealed the presence of a lesion in the maxilla characteristic of complex odontoma and a partially erupted tooth 13. The lesion was treated with a surgical procedure followed by orthodontic traction for the unerupted tooth. Odontoma is considered the most common odontogenic tumor.
