Research on compatibility and performance verification method of domestic database migration based on Kreplay technology

Abstract This paper deeply studies the compatibility and performance verification methods of domestic database replacement Oracle database and focuses on the application of Replay technology in database migration. By comparing and analyzing the key technologies such as Oracle Real Application Testing, SQL Server Profiler, iReplay, OceanBase Migration Assessment, and Kreplay, this paper proposes a migration verification scheme based on Kreplay. This scheme comprehensively evaluates the compatibility and performance of domestic databases by capturing the actual workload of the production environment and replaying it in the test environment to simulate the real scene. The experimental results show that Kreplay has obvious advantages in heterogeneous database migration and transaction complete capture, and it can effectively find and solve compatibility and performance problems in the migration process. The research in this paper provides technical support for the promotion and application of domestic databases and references for future database replacement technology development.

A Rapid 3-Day Excipient Screening Methodology and its Application in Identifying Chemical Stabilizers for Solid Formulations with Mixed Mechanisms of Degradation.

This study outlines a practical approach for assessing chemical instability by heating the drug-excipient binary mixtures or multi-excipient formulations at 75°C for 3days before characterization. Differentiating itself from other excipient compatibility methods, our methodology necessitates a saturated aqueous slurry rather than arbitrarily fixed water content. This allows bulk and surface water in the excipient to contribute to drug degradation. The synergistic impact of surface water and elevated temperature expedites degradation kinetics, resulting in accelerated data generation. Among excipient compatibility methods available, our method is quantitative and merges with traditionally used methodologies. The devised nomograph enables extrapolation of shelf life at 20°C from experimental data obtained at 75°C. This methodology also helped identify stabilizers for the drug NVS-1 where traditional excipient compatibility programs had failed. Incorporation of monovalent salts, such as sodium/potassium chloride and sodium bicarbonate at 5% w/w, significantly enhanced the chemical stability of NVS-1, ensuring stable tablet formulations. Our hypothesis posits that stabilization is due to increased ionic strength in the slurry, which stabilizes an induced dipole within the polar NVS-1 drug. Additionally, the presence of ions in the moisture layer is anticipated to stabilize π-π stacking of two planar aromatic NVS-1 molecules. The expedited generation of experimental data allowed the identification of inorganic salts to supplement a standard excipient compatibility screening panel. Considering the economic implications of stability testing methodologies in effort, cost, and duration, a faster turnaround in chemical stability data enhances formulation selection. This ultimately facilitates the development of drug formulations with greater efficiency without delays.

The Beligerative Landscapes of Ukraine

In the structure of modern landscapes in Ukraine, special attention is deserved by beligerative (from Latin beligero—to wage war) landscape complexes. They are widespread throughout Ukraine, but only in the late 20th to early 21st centuries did they capture the attention of researchers. The aim is to analyze the current state and functioning of beligerative landscapes in the plains of Ukraine in order to develop measures for their further rational use and conservation. In the study of beligerative landscapes, principles of historicism, natural-anthropogenic compatibility, and related methods were applied, including historical-landscape analysis, compilation of historical-genetic series of landscape maps, analysis of final results, comparative method of natural analogs, analysis of beligerative landscape complexes as components of a paragenetic system, and GIS-technologies. The widespread distribution and significant diversity of belligerent landscape complexes within the plains of Ukraine have made it possible to identify a number of beligerative areas and corresponding sites. Among the largest typical ones are the areas of fortified points with sites of defensive ramparts, defensive ditches, and scarps; areas of isolated defensive ramparts with corresponding sites of earthen multi-age ramparts and ditches; areas of defensive lines with a complex system of beligerative sites such as fortresses, ramparts, redoubts, firing points, entrenchments, and more. The directions for their restoration are substantiated for further rational use as specific objects of scientific research, tourist and reserve sites, and objects for the development of local studies and patriotic education. It is noted that the rational use and conservation of beligerative landscapes should be implemented in the form of beligerative geosites—anthropogenic formations of military origin with corresponding territories. Beligerative landscapes formed as a result of russian military aggression are partially discussed and require further research.

EMI and IEMI Impacts on the Radio Communication Network of Electrified Railway Systems: A Critical Review

The electrified railway system has been rapidly rolled out in many countries and regions in the past decades, along with the transportation decarbonization agenda. The latest development in power electronics and electrical railway systems has increased the risks of electromagnetic interference (EMI) and intentional EMI (IEMI) emissions, introducing new challenges to the railway radio communications network. It is vital to have a robust and reliable railway communication network that can be resistant and immune to these interferences for the safe and efficient operation of modern railway systems. Yet, the source and new features of EMI and IEMI emerging along with the latest technological development have not been thoroughly investigated and understood. This review paper aims to fill the research gap. First, railway communications systems are introduced. The EMI and IEMI are discussed at the whole system level, and the corresponding impacts on the signaling and communication systems are reviewed comprehensively. Current electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) methods are surveyed, and challenges of tackling the impacts of EMI and IEMI on the signaling and communication systems are discussed. Finally, future research directions are outlined.

Mechanism of Action of Strychni Semen for Treating Rheumatoid Arthritis and Methods for Attenuating the Toxicity.

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune disease, which affects the joints and causes significant pain, impairing patient's quality of life. Strychni semen showed promising results to treat RA. However, there are increasing safety concerns in using strychni semen due to its severe toxicity. The purpose of this review is to provide insight into using Strychni semen as an alternative medicine to treat RA, as well as to offer a method for the safe application of Strychni semen through processing and compatibility studies. Publications were retrieved and surveyed from CNKI and PubMed relevant to Strychni semen for a literature review. This article summarized the mechanism of function of strychni semen in treating RA with its anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and immunomodulatory effect. Commonly used methods to attenuate the toxicity of Strychni semen were also discussed in this article. Strychni semen has a good therapeutic effect on RA, mainly by the modulation of immunity with anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. Also, the reported toxicity of strychni semen can be effectively reduced by processing and compatibility methods. Hence, as an alternative medicine for RA treatment, strychni semen has a broad prospect.

Evolution of acupoint compatibility method and rule in XIAO Shao-qing's acupuncture prescriptions

XIAO Shao-qing's understanding and evolution of acupoint compatibility methods and rules are summarized. XIAO Shao-qing's understanding of acupoint compatibility rules shows a process from simple listing to systematic improvement, which is reflected as the increase or decrease of the number of acupoint compatibility methods, the revision of the concept and connotation of acupoint compatibility methods, and the adjustment of the example content of acupoint compatibility rules. His clinical prescriptions of acupuncture and moxibustion highlight the academic idea of taking the indications of meridians and acupoints as the basis, using syndrome differentiation and treatment as the core, and selecting acupoints for symptoms as the auxiliary.

Compatibility of composite biomaterials in repairing bone tissue damage in sports competitions

In sports competitions, bone tissue injury seriously affects athletes’ exercise levels, and some even cause lifelong regrets. With the continuous development of modern medicine, sports medicine has also been rapidly improved, and many tissue engineering techniques have been applied in the field of sports medicine. Used for the treatment of sports injuries, but the repair of bone injuries has always been a thorny issue in the medical field. This article mainly studies the compatibility of composite bio-nanomaterials in the repair of bone tissue damage in sports competitions. The method of constructing bone tissue engineering scaffolds is used to repair bone tissue damage, and the use of protein adsorption and wireless sensor compatibility methods to achieve composite bio-nanomaterials compatible, after 15 days of culture of PCL/PLA/HA nano scaffolds in vitro, stain the protein and observe the binding peptide sequence of the protein, and test the absorbance value. The results of the study showed that the growth rate of surface-bound peptides of nanomaterials was 1.2%, the absorbance value was 540 nm, and the hemolysis value of the experimental group was less than 5%. Biological compatibility is mainly related to the binding peptides on the cell surface, through intracellular and extracellular molecular signal transduction, and has a clear spatiotemporal sequence to optimize bone repair and recovery functions. Therefore, the use of synthetic nanomaterials to repair bone damage is a future trend, and biocompatibility is the key to this research.

Differences in the Hemolytic Behavior of Two Isomers in Ophiopogon japonicus In Vitro and In Vivo and Their Risk Warnings.

Ophiopogonin D (OPD) and Ophiopogonin D′ (OPD′) are two bioactive ingredients in Ophiopogon japonicus. Previously published studies have often focused on the therapeutic effects related to OPD's antioxidant capacity but underestimated the cytotoxicity-related side effects of OPD′, which may result in unpredictable risks. In this study, we reported another side effect of OPD′, hemolysis, and what was unexpected was that this side effect also appeared with OPD. Although hemolysis effects for saponins are familiar to researchers, the hemolytic behavior of OPD or OPD′ and the interactions between these two isomers are unique. Therefore, we investigated the effects of OPD and OPD′ alone or in combination on the hemolytic behavior in vitro and in vivo and adopted chemical compatibility and proteomics methods to explain the potential mechanism. Meanwhile, to explain the drug-drug interactions (DDIs), molecular modeling was applied to explore the possible common targets. In this study, we reported that OPD′ caused hemolysis both in vitro and in vivo, while OPD only caused hemolysis in vivo. We clarified the differences and DDIs in the hemolytic behavior of the two isomers. An analysis of the underlying mechanism governing this phenomenon showed that hemolysis caused by OPD or OPD′ was related to the destruction of the redox balance of erythrocytes. In vivo, in addition to the redox imbalance, the proteomics data demonstrated that lipid metabolic disorders and mitochondrial energy metabolism are extensively involved by hemolysis. We provided a comprehensive description of the hemolysis of two isomers in Ophiopogon japonicus, and risk warnings related to hemolysis were presented. Our research also provided a positive reference for the development and further research of such bioactive components.

AutoGrow4: an open-source genetic algorithm for de novo drug design and lead optimization

We here present AutoGrow4, an open-source program for semi-automated computer-aided drug discovery. AutoGrow4 uses a genetic algorithm to evolve predicted ligands on demand and so is not limited to a virtual library of pre-enumerated compounds. It is a useful tool for generating entirely novel drug-like molecules and for optimizing preexisting ligands. By leveraging recent computational and cheminformatics advancements, AutoGrow4 is faster, more stable, and more modular than previous versions. It implements new docking-program compatibility, chemical filters, multithreading options, and selection methods to support a wide range of user needs. To illustrate both de novo design and lead optimization, we here apply AutoGrow4 to the catalytic domain of poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase 1 (PARP-1), a well characterized DNA-damage-recognition protein. AutoGrow4 produces drug-like compounds with better predicted binding affinities than FDA-approved PARP-1 inhibitors (positive controls). The predicted binding modes of the AutoGrow4 compounds mimic those of the known inhibitors, even when AutoGrow4 is seeded with random small molecules. Analysis on the compatibility of Inonotus obliquus in the treatment of tumor in Russia

Inonotus obliquus is a commonly used medicinal and edible fungus in Russian folk. It is often used in the rehabilitation treatment of cancer patients. Based on the relevant research data of the Soviet Union and Russia, this paper summarizes and analyses the compatibility application methods of Inonotus obliquus in cancer rehabilitation treatment. It is believed that Inonotus obliquus can be used alone as tea or in the combination with other drugs. The prescription is simple, practical, safe and easy for patients, but it should be tested in our country. Considering the different constitution of patients and the source of medicinal materials, the attention should be paid to adjust the dosage. Development of regulations, codes and standards on composite tanks for on-board gaseous hydrogen storage

Composite tanks for on-board gaseous hydrogen storage is one of key parts of the hydrogen fuel cell vehicle. Regulations, codes and standards (RC & S) are conducive to overcoming technological barriers to commercialization. This paper reviews the development of RC & S on composite tanks for on-board gaseous hydrogen storage and addresses their highlights on technical requirements. First, an overview of RC & S for composite tanks is introduced. Then, a comparative study on technical requirements of RC & S including service conditions, design requirements, materials, manufacture, qualification tests and management is presented. Finally, several major differences in RC & S, i.e., tank classification in ISO 19881 and penetration test method are discussed. Some issues for further research, such as initial burst pressure, material hydrogen compatibility and periodic inspection methods are proposed.

Combination of Metal Shielding and Distance Estimation for Electromagnetic Compatibility Guarantee

In this paper, a solution for electromagnetic compatibility guarantee based on the combination of metal shielding and circuit components distance estimation methods is presented. The electromagnetic noises generated from a working radio-electronic unit can expand into the space and act on other around radio-electronic units. An EMC guaranteed radio-electronic unit by the suitable technique method will not cause the electromagnetic noise to others. In opposition, it will not be under electromagnetic action from another one. Due to the power of electromagnetic noise, the metal shielding, distance estimation or other technique methods should be used to guarantee EMC. Every method has own advantage as so as weakness for detail radio-electronic unit, so it is necessary to choose a suitable method to guarantee EMC for them, the combination of metal shielding and distance estimation is a choice, for example. The proposed solution has been evaluated by using CST (Computer Simulation Technology) software and EMxpertEHX analyzer in oscillator circuit context. The simulated results on CST show that the proposed solution decreases the electromagnetic radiation about of 39.1 dB at frequency 500 MHz in comparison to results when nothing electromagnetic compatibility methods are not used. The experimental results on the oscillator circuit are presented. The electromagnetic radiation reduction of the oscillator circuit is about of (25 - 30) dB. In comparison to individual metal shielding and distance estimation methods, the effectiveness of the proposed solution for electromagnetic compatibility guarantee is significantly increased.

Prediction of soft soil foundation settlement in Guangxi granite area based on fuzzy neural network model

At present, the prediction of soft foundation settlement mostly use the exponential curve and hyperbola deferred approximation method, and the correlation between the results is poor. However, the application of neural network in this area has some limitations, and none of the models used in the existing cases adopted the TS fuzzy neural network of which calculation combines the characteristics of fuzzy system and neural network to realize the mutual compatibility methods. At the same time, the developed and optimized calculation program is convenient for engineering designers. Taking the prediction and analysis of soft foundation settlement of gully soft soil in granite area of Guangxi Guihe road as an example, the fuzzy neural network model is established and verified to explore the applicability. The TS fuzzy neural network is used to construct the prediction model of settlement and deformation, and the corresponding time response function is established to calculate and analyze the settlement of soft foundation. The results show that the prediction of short-term settlement of the model is accurate and the final settlement prediction result has certain engineering reference value.

Improved soft-switching boost converter with coupled-inductor using passive EMI cancellation method

Non-isolated switching power supplies with coupled-inductor have more parasitic elements like the leakage inductance in comparison with the regular non-isolated converters. Due to the undesirable resonances between the leakage inductance and other parasitic capacitors, the conducted electromagnetic emissions increase. In order to improve electromagnetic compatibility, adopting passive or active parasitic cancellation methods can be used. In this paper, a passive cancellation circuit is combined with the converter`s coupled-inductor cell. Among the non-isolated converters, the boost converter where a lossless snubber with a coupled inductor is applied in its soft switching cell is selected to reveal the advantage of this proposed method with respect to EMC. To verify the advantage, the conducted EMI of this proposed converter is compared with the regular boost converter and boost converter with a lossless snubber. The experimental results indicate a considerable reduction in the conducted EMI levels. This proposed technique can be applied in other non-isolated topologies like buck, buck-boost, SEPIC, Ćuk and converters with tapped inductor.

Radio Frequency Compatibility Evaluation of S Band Navigation Signals for Future BeiDou

With L band frequency allocations for satellite navigation getting more crowded, S band (2483.5–2500 MHz) is already allocated for navigation services, where Globalstar broadcasts downlink communications to user terminals. The Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS) is transmitting navigation signals and Galileo exploits some potential signals in S band. Also, several candidate S band signals based on binary offset carrier (BOC), binary phase shift keying (BPSK), continuous phase modulation (CPM) and minimum shift keying-BOC (MSK-BOC) are suggested for BeiDou system (BDS). In quite narrow S band, mutual interference among these systems is inevitable, thus the compatibility issue is particularly significant for S band signal design. To explore desired S band signals for BDS, the paper firstly describes a comprehensive compatibility evaluation methods based on effective carrier-to-noise ratio degradation for acquisition and code tracking. Then a real simulation is established using space constellations, modulation schemes and received power. Finally, the worst mutual interference of BDS candidate signals with Galileo, IRNSS and Globalstar is calculated and compared. The results indicate that CPM signal is easier to allow peaceful coexistence of other systems with minimal mutual interference in S band compared to other BDS candidates.

What is Intuitive Taxonomic Practice?

Scotland and Steel (2015) recently explored the idea of character compatibility, examining the issue from the perspective of a particular model, "a simple and extreme model in which each character either fits perfectly on some tree, or is entirely random $\ldots$,." (Scotland and Steel 2015, p. 492, abstract). They suggested that character compatibility, when formalized as a phylogenetic method, captured what they believed was the "intuitive taxonomic practice of recognizing taxa based on conserved nonhomoplastic characters" (Scotland and Steel 2015, p. 493). Although we agree that there is much to be said for compatibility analysis, and "it has largely been set aside, initially in favour of maximum parsimony, and, more recently, by model-based methods for inferring phylogeny from DNA sequence data" (Scotland and Steel 2015, p. 493), their use of the expression "intuitive taxonomic practice" attracted our attention. Below we discuss in more detail what "intuitive taxonomic practice" might be and relate that understanding to recent progress in the history of biology, specifically the history of systematics (taxonomy), and finally sketch out a proposal that might satisfy those of us who retain an interest in capturing in a more rigorous way what "intuitive taxonomic practice" might have been. Genetic Diversity of Oilseed Rape Fields and Feral Populations in the Context of Coexistence with GM Crops.

Despite growing concern about transgenes escaping from fields, few studies have analysed the genetic diversity of crops in an agroecosystem over several years. Accurate information about the dynamics and relationship of the genetic diversity of crops in an agroecosystem is essential for risk assessment and policies concerning the containment of genetically modified crops and their coexistence with crops grown by conventional practices. Here, we analysed the genetic diversity of oilseed rape plants from fields and feral populations over 4 years in an agricultural landscape of 41 km2. We used exact compatibility and maximum likelihood assignment methods to assign these plants to cultivars. Even pure lines and hybrid cultivar seed lots contained several genotypes. The cultivar diversity in fields reflected the conventional view of agroecosystems quite well: that is, there was a succession of cultivars, some grown for longer than others because of their good performance, some used for one year and then abandoned, and others gradually adopted. Three types of field emerged: fields sown with a single cultivar, fields sown with two cultivars, and unassigned fields (too many cultivars or unassigned plants to reliably assign the field). Field plant diversity was higher than expected, indicating the persistence of cultivars that were grown for only one year. The cultivar composition of feral populations was similar to that of field plants, with an increasing number of cultivars each year. By using genetic tools, we found a link between the cultivars of field plants in a particular year and the cultivars of feral population plants in the following year. Feral populations on road verges were more diverse than those on path verges. All of these findings are discussed in terms of their consequences in the context of coexistence with genetically modified crops.

Recent progress in research on high-voltage electrolytes for lithium-ion batteries.

Developing a stable and safe electrolyte that works at voltages as high as 5 V is a formidable challenge in present Li-ion-battery research because such high voltages are beyond the electrochemical stability of the conventional carbonate-based solvents available. In the past few years, extensive efforts have been carried out by the research community toward the exploration of high-voltage electrolytes. In this review, recent progress in the study of several promising high-voltage electrolyte systems, as well as their recipes, electrochemical performance, electrode compatibility, and characterization methods, are summarized and reviewed. These new electrolyte systems include high-voltage film-forming additives and new solvents, such as sulfones, ionic liquids, nitriles, and fluorinated carbonates. It appears to be very difficult to find a good high-voltage (∼5 V) electrolyte with a single-component solvent at the present stage. Using mixed fluorinated-carbonate solvents and additives are two realistic solutions for practical applications in the near term, while sulfones, nitriles, ionic liquids and solid-state electrolyte/polymer electrolytes are promising candidates for the next generation of high-voltage electrolyte systems.

Evaluation of mating behaviour and mating compatibility methods for the Old World screwworm fly, Chrysomya bezziana

The effectiveness of the Sterile Insect Technique program (SIT) to eradicate pest insects relies on the success of mating competitiveness between irradiated male flies and wild type males for the wild type females. It has been successfully applied for the New World screwworm fly (NWSF), Cochliomyia hominivorax but remains unproven for the Old World screwworm fly (OWSF), Chrysomya bezziana. The aim of the study was to develop methods for investigating mating behaviour and mating compatibility of C. bezziana under laboratory conditions. Two methods were used for studying mating: individual mating (method 1) and group mating (method 2). The flies used in this study were 5-7 days old. Twenty four hours after emergence, adult flies were sexed and placed into different cages until studied. The female : male ratio in the group mating was 1 : 5 and the males were marked by painting a dot on the thorax using different oil colours. Observation of mating behaviour was investigated every 30 minutes through 10-20 replications for all methods depending on the availability of flies. Data were analysed using ANOVA and the Student’s t-test, with significance demonstrated at the 95% confidence level. The results demonstrated that the frequency of contacts between males and females at different ages was a significantly different (p 0.05) and method 2 (p > 0.05). Copulation was only initiated following longer periods of contact, mainly in the range of 270-449 seconds. The highest frequency of copulation occurred between 7-8 days, but the duration of mating was similar between 5-8 days old. The study demonstrated that the methods developed were suitable for a mating compatibility study of C. bezziana. Key Words: Chrysomya bezziana, Mating Behaviour, Copulation, Myiasis
