Inventory is one of the important things for companies because most of the company's activities are embedded in inventory, with various kinds of problems that exist internally and externally, between employees and superiors and between the company and customers, one of which is inventory problems. So, by having a company's inventory that is stable and in line with customer needs, it will be able to prevent problems between the company and its customers and maintain the company's survival. From the results of research carried out in checking stock availability at PT Indonesia Thai Summit Plastech, basically it is still manual, there is no system that can provide and make things easier for the company or warehouse department. With the problems mentioned above, a system is needed that is able to make it easier and provide information to the company or warehouse quickly. The results of this research produce an output in the form of stock availability patterns, stock accuracy or inventory by applying data mining using the k means clustering method.

Management Inventory Control Kaizen of Using Continuous Review Policy in a PT XYZ commercial vehicle at Jakarta City, Indonesia

This research aims to analyze the problem of excess spare parts inventory in commercial vehicle equipment units in the company's inventory and ordering times to avoid excess goods in the warehouse. Using the ABC classification inventory model and continuous monitoring policy, spare parts stock is calculated to compare ideal average inventory levels (AIL) and actual values. ABC analysis classification also has the advantage of identifying items that are feasible and have the potential to be reduced from inventory. From the analysis we conducted, we found that the company has the potential to reduce almost IDR 32,979 billion or 27.80% of excess inventory levels by using a continuous review policy as the basis of the inventory control calculation system. The sales forecast for all Printable Splicing Tape products type 9969B on average per month during June-December 2023 is estimated that the average forecast for the company's Inventory Control must stock 608 rolls with a tracking error of -1 (e < 4) so ​​it is very permissible, because it is less than quaternion.

Minimizing Fresh Fruit Bunches Inventory Costs Using Continuous Review System and Blanked Order System Methods

PT X is a company engaged in palm oil processing. The company's inventory of FFB raw materials is erratic, depending on the production needs. In processing palm oil raw materials, companies in the logistics or inventory department cannot be separated from the problem of FFB raw material inventory, which is part of the primary needs for company production. This company faces issues, namely the fluctuation in demand and lead time for placing orders, which can cause stockouts and shortages in FFB raw material inventories, which disrupts production process activities. The purpose of the research conducted was to conduct an analysis of raw material inventory control using the continuous review system and blanked order system methods to avoid the occurrence of raw material shortages in the raw material inventory to be used and to minimize the total inventory costs that must be incurred at the company and determine the best inventory method. The results obtained from this study were getting a safety stock of 1,638 tons and a known reorder point of 5,093 tons for the schedule of reordering FFB raw materials using the continuous review system method. Based on the results of calculating inventory costs using the constant review system method, it is the most optimal method with a minimal total inventory cost compared to the blanked order system method and the previous company policy, with savings generated by 0.10%.

Análisis de los inventarios a través de un modelo de pronósticos estadísticos en una empresa peruana

The importance of the study falls on the main objective of analyzing inventories through statistical forecasts in a pharmaceutical company. The research approach was quantitative, cross-sectional, non-experimental design and descriptive level. The study population was the information from the inventory of the company for the year 2022, likewise the sample consisted of two products classified in item A. According to what was elaborated in the article, it is concluded that the products selected in group A, they have a 15% participation in the company's inventories, however, they represent 86.6% according to their unit cost and 45.3% of inventory valuation according to their value, also according to their profit contribution they have a 49.76% participation. And, according to the analysis of the forecasting methods, it was determined that the ideal for both products 002 and 005 is the seasonal index method, considering the MAPE (average absolute percentage error) lower, reaching 28.96% and 27.28% respectively. The economic order quantity was determined where it was seen that for product 002 it is 50392 and product 005 is 73217.

That is why in this paper the analysis of the main causes that originate the loss in the inventory due to the loss or deterioration of the products in a company that sells to the general public due to the displacement , packaging, handling and expiration, identifying the degree of percentage impact on sales, by type of product, as well as the circumstances in which the staff causes them when it is related to inventory logistics, the customers themselves and also the causes in that the suppliers that supply the products affect their deterioration. Cash turnover is a ratio used to measure the number of times cash enters the company in a given period. Receivables Turnover is a ratio used to measure how quickly the return of payments and receivables is collected in a period. Inventory turnover is an efficiency ratio that shows how effective a company's inventory is, it measures the number of times a company sells its total inventory on average throughout the year. This study aims to find out whether Cash Turnover, Receivables Turnover and Inventory Turnover have a partial or simultaneous effect on Profitability in Food and Beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2017-2019.
 In this study, sampling was done by saturated sampling. The population in the study was a food and beverage sub-sector company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. From 28 companies obtained 24 companies that were used as research sample data. There were 57 total sample data from 72 sample data after the outlier test. This study used SPSS 27 with statistical methods used is multiple linear regression.
 The results showed that; (1) Cash Turnover negatively and significantly affects Profitability, (2) Receivable Turnover has no effect and is insignificant to Profitability, (3) Inventory Turnover has no effect and is insignificant to Profitability. Simultaneously Cash Turnover, Receivable Turnover and Inventory Turnover have significant impact on Profitability. The R Square value of 0.249 indicates that a 24.9% change in the company's Profitability can be explained by the free variables associated with this study, while the remaining 75.1% is explained by other factors not included in the research regression model.

this article examines the operations of DELL, a technology business that produces and sells PCs, servers, data storage devices, and networking equipment, are examined in this article. The article examines the significance of capacity management and inventory management, two critical components of a company's operations that can have a considerable impact on its profitability. Capacity management is concerned with matching supply and demand by planning and regulating supply or processing, whereas inventory management is concerned with having the right items in the right place at the right time. DELL has acquired a competitive advantage by implementing the build-to-order (BTO) approach, which allows the corporation to construct products only when a validated order is received, allowing consumers to receive personalized products on an individual basis.
 In conclusion, DELL's successful operations highlight the significance of excellent capacity and inventory management, supply chain management, and new business models. The use of the BTO model and an agile supply chain management approach by the company has allowed it to respond swiftly to changing market demands, supplying tailored products to specific clients. The company's inventory and data management operations have been optimized thanks to effective information exchange, vendor-managed inventory, and enterprise resource planning tools. МЕТОДИЧНІ АСПЕКТИ ОБЛІКУ ЗАПАСІВ ПІДПРИЄМСТВ

The article describes the main elements of the methodology for displaying the company's inventories and transactions with them in the accounting system. The results of the study indicate that, based on accounting data, interested persons (internal and external users of information) have the opportunity to assess the state of provision of the company's activities with material resources, the possibilities and evaluation results of their use, as well as the impact of relevant characteristics on the expected consequences of the entity's functioning entrepreneurship. In the context of solving accounting tasks, the main characteristics of inventories are their existence in material form, the presence of a certain functional purpose, a short period of their use, which is limited to one year or one operating cycle, as well as the possibility of providing them with a value assessment. It has been established that the material form of inventories makes it possible to determine their presence and the existence of transactions with them for accounting purposes on the basis of organoleptic methods (observation, inventory, etc.), as well as to assess the possibility of their use for solving the tasks of financial and economic activity. Based on the results of the study, it was determined that in case of changes in the conditions and technologies of using the company's inventories, the accounting system should establish whether there are grounds to recognize material resources as inventories in the future due to a possible change in the duration of their existence. For accounting purposes, it is proposed to identify a group of inventories on the using of which certain restrictions are imposed. It was determined that accounting measures should provide for the registration of inventories at the stages of their arrival at the enterprise, storage, transformation and disposal. The main goal of accounting measures regarding inventories and transactions with them is recognized as meeting the information needs of various groups of users of the relevant data. The accounting system must record changes in the quantity and structure of inventories, dynamics of valuation, and also respond to circumstances that depend on the possibility of recognizing inventories as assets or its termination.

Analisis Perputaran Persediaan terhadap Profitabilitas Perusahaan Farmasi di Bursa Efek Indonesia

Inventory turnover serves to determine the company's inventory that is sold and replaced within a certain time. Inventory turnover measures how well a company markets its inventory and will be compared to a balanced industrial company. Low inventory turnover indicates weak sales while high inventory turnover indicates influential sales. This study aims to examine and evaluate the effect of inventory turnover (at cost) and inventory turnover (at market) on profitability (ROA) of pharmaceutical companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2021. This research is a quantitative research. The participants in this study were all manufacturing companies in the food and beverage sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2017-2021. The sample size of this research is 8 companies. The results of the study concluded that inventory turnover (at cost) had a positive and significant effect on profitability. However, inventory turnover (at market) has a negative and insignificant effect on profitability. Meanwhile, inventory turnover (at cost) and inventory turnover (at market) simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on profitability (ROA).

ANALISIS EFISIENSI PADA CV. ZAKIAH DI SAMARINDA

This research is motivated by the company's desire to continue to develop its business by looking at the company's ability to procure goods or sales and generate profits or profits by analyzing the company's efficiency ratio seen from the balance sheet and income statement. The problem that is formulated is what causes an increase in inventory efficiency in 2020 compared to 2019. The hypothesis proposed is that it is suspected that sales caused an increase in inventory efficiency in 2020 compared to 2019. The analytical tool used is the efficiency ratio analysis method or activity ratio which includes the total assets turnover, fixed assets turnover, inventory turnover, receivable turnover, and net working capital turnover, in order to solve problems and efforts to answer the proposed hypothesis.
 Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the efficiency ratio consisting of Total Assets Turnover in 2019 rotated 7.18 times, increasing by 0.5 times its turnover in 2020 to 7.68 times. Likewise, Fixed Assets Turnover in 2019 rotated 33.8 times, increasing by 2.7 times in 2020 to 36.5 times. Receivable Turover in 2019 rotated 28.3 times, increasing by 1.6 times in 2020 to 29.9 times. Meanwhile, Inventory Turnover in 2019 rotated 913.8 times, increasing by 14.8 times in 2020 to 928.6 times its turnover. Sales made by the company also experienced an increase from 2019 to 2020, namely Rp. 80,576,014.00 in 2019 increased by Rp. 14,875,50,00 to Rp. 95,415,514.00 in 2020 and led to an increase in the company's inventory efficiency in 2020 compared to 2019 which was Rp. 1,112,750.00 in 2013 and Rp. 545,250.00 in 2019. The conclusion of this study is the efficiency ratio of CV. Zakiah in Samarinda for the period 2019 to 2020 has increased.

Peramalan Permintaan Produk Nata De Coco Dalam Supply Chain Management Dengan Model Arima

Forecasting can be used to predict goods and services. This study aims to predict demand for nata de coco using the ARIMA model so that the company's inventory is well controlled and the supply chain is not constrained. This research data is secondary data taken during the request period from June 2021 to May 2022. The results show that the best ARIMA model is (0.2,1). The equation model formed is. Forecasting results in June 2021 are 3,104, July 2021 are 3,057, August 2021 are 3,008, September 2021 is 2,957, October 2021 is 2,906, November 2021 is 2,853, December 2021 is 2,710, January 2022 is 2,745 , February 2022 is 2,688, March 2022 is 2,631, April 2022 is 2,572 and May is 2,512.

ABSTRACT
 PT. XYZ is a service company engaged in the maintenance of port heavy equipment and modification of port heavy equipment as well as procurement of spare parts for port heavy equipment. In 2018 along with improving the work performance of PT. XYZ expands its wings to civil works in the port sector, starting from dock repair work, maintenance of port accessories, construction of structures and reclamation. In a maintenance service company and the provision of spare parts for port heavy equipment, the company's inventory must be guaranteed. at each site PT. XYZ especially PT. X has a limited warehouse, so it must maximize the company's inventory. In the company's existing condition, the amount of inventory still exceeds the number of user requests which will accidentally fill their warehouse and will increase the Total Inventory Cost (TIC). With this problem, TIC depreciation will be carried out with a periodic review policy (R, s, S) and a periodic review policy with a consignment stock inventory system. Based on the above method, the original TIC amounted to Rp. 43,063,451 with the periodic review method of TIC amounting to Rp. 38,318,736 or decreased by 11% and if using the periodic review method with the inventory consignment stock TIC system, the amount was Rp. 36,987,546 or decreased by 13%.

ПРИМЕНЕНИЕ МОДЕЛИ PDCA И МОДИФИКАЦИИ АВС-XYZ-АНАЛИЗА В УПРАВЛЕНИИ ПРОИЗВОДСТВЕННЫМИ ЗАПАСАМИ

The article discusses the possibility of using a process approach in managing the company's inventory based on the Shewhart-Deming cycle (PDCA model), as well as identifies modern problems of using ABC-analysis and XYZ-analysis models in practice, and proposes the introduction of a modified ABC-XYZ analysis model. The results of the study showed that the development of an inventory management policy in a company based on the PDCA model with the use of the proposed modification of the ABC-XYZ analysis will make it possible to systematize the processes of warehousing and supply of stocks using the «Just-in-Time» method, minimize warehouse costs by reducing the volume of stock, reduce the volume of illiquid inventory, improve customer satisfaction, accelerate inventory turnover.

Use of statistical tools in accounting inventories of the enterprise

The paper is devoted to the search for tools for optimizing approaches to the analysis of inventories of the enterprise. Efficient use of stocks is a prerequisite for profitable operation of the enterprise, and their provision is a condition for the implementation of works and services. The study of approaches to the analysis and evaluation of inventories of the enterprise makes it possible to identify certain shortcomings and strengths of each approach in order to further combine them. The basis for the study was the search for ways to improve approaches to the analysis of inventories of the enterprise taking into account the dynamically changing environment. The main purpose of the paper is to improve approaches to accounting and analysis of stocks of enterprises through the use of statistical tools. The methodological and informational basis of the work is scientific works, materials of periodicals, Internet resources and regulations. The study used methods of structural and dynamic analysis, comparison and generalization of data from literature sources. The paper reveals that to assess the company's inventory it is necessary to analyze their composition and structure, take into account that they must be optimal, compare the actual ratio of fixed and current assets with their optimal value. That is, it is important to calculate the company's need for stocks, as well as the intensity of use of production stocks, which will achieve a high level of production and prevent its decline. As part of the study, it is proposed to use operational analysis of stocks using statistical tools that will allow to have information about the current state of stocks and determine their forecast value in future periods. The analysis of volumes and structure of stocks is carried out by means of calculation of absolute and relative sizes. To identify trends in the structure of stocks, it is advisable to use the analytical equation of linear regression noted the need and importance of internal control of stocks and possible ways to improve the efficiency of production stocks at the enterprise.

ANALISIS METODE PENCATATAN PERSEDIAAN AIR MINERAL AQUA PADA UD KALTIM MAKMUR DI KABUPATEN BERAU

In order for this to be achieved, it is necessary again to be precise and precise in terms of recording, appraising and determining the cost of goods. Apart from being very influential in the company's financial statements, this will also affect the supervision of the company's inventory which is indirectly related to the supervision of the company's employees itself.The purpose of this study was to clearly determine the application of the method of recording and assessing the Aqua Mineral Water supply at UD Kaltim Makmur in accordance with PSAK No. 14 concerning Inventory. The analytical method used in writing this thesis is quantitative descriptive analysis.The results of this study concluded that the application of the Aqua Mineral Water supply recording method at UD Kaltim Makmur was not in accordance with PSAK No. 14. The inventory recording method used by UD Kaltim Makmur is the periodic method. The use of the periodic recording method at UD Kaltim Makmur is not in accordance with PSAK No. 14, which should use a perpetual method or with the use of inventory cards. UD Kaltim Makmur calculates the inventory value without using the cost formula required in PSAK No. 14, so the method used by UD Kaltim Makmur is not in accordance with PSAK No. 14.

Penggunaan metode algoritma wagner within dalam upaya pengendalian persediaan scrap besi di PT XYZ

The research objective is to determine the total size of the lot of iron scrap orders, and the total cost of the company's inventory before and after carrying out the method of controlling iron scrap inventory using the Wagner Within Algorithm method. Demand forecasting uses the Single Moving Averge, Weight Moving Average, and Exponential Smoothing methods. Based on the results of the study, the total lot size of iron scrap material orders is smaller than the size of previous lot orders without using the inventory control method, which is 15,362 tons per year. Total inventory of Rp. 105,076,125,840 and the total cost is more optimal when compared with the total cost of inventory with the company system that is Rp. 109,734,165,840 so that the company can save costs by Rp. 4,658,040,000.
