The Influence of Company Size, Business Risk, and Sales Growth on Capital Structure Mediated by Profitability

This study aimed to determine the effect of company size, business risk, and sales growth on capital structure with profitability as an intervening variable on the JII stock index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2017 to 2021. The method used to determine the research sample is purposive sampling. The source of data in this research is secondary data. Data analysis techniques used path analysis, t-test (partial), and Sobel test (mediation) using SPSS version 23. The study's results stated that company size, sales growth, and profitability have a significant effect on capital structure while business risk has no significant effect on capital structure. Company size, business risk, and sales growth significantly affect profitability. The Sobel test results state that company size, business risk, and sales growth have a significant effect on capital structure mediated by profitability, meaning that mediation occurs.

Exploring the Interplay of Corporate Governance, Family Ownership, and Shariah Compliance on Firm Efficiency

The contemporary study identified a gap in sympathy for how Shariah compliance and family ownership moderate the impacts of corporate governance and firm efficiency. Therefore, the objective of the investigation of the connection between different facets of corporate governance and business efficiency, with a specific objective, is to investigate the moderating effect of Shariah compliance and family ownership linking corporate governance and firm efficiency. The panel data was taken from the Pakistan Stock Exchange, which had 475 non-financial listed firms from 2014 to 2024. The panel data was analyzed via OLS regression, and various diagnostics assessments were used to estimate and analyze the data precisely. In addition, SEM via SmartPLS was used to evaluate the moderation effect using the bootstrapping method. The results show that audit committees, management ownership, and board independence all significantly increase firm efficiency, but Shariah conformity and family ownership show intricate moderating impacts. The originality of this research resides in its thorough examination of how contextual elements and corporate governance interact to affect company success, offering investors, business executives, and legislators insightful information.

Influencers and influencer marketing – indispensable part of the business of modern companies

With the growth of popularity and the development of social networks, appeared influencers and developed a new type of marketing, influencer marketing. Today, influencers, due to the influence they have on people, and influencer marketing, which records excellent results and helps the company achieve its business goals, are an indispensable part of the business of every modern company. The purpose of the article is to explain why influencers and influencer marketing are an important, indispensable part of the business of modern companies. Research methods which are applied in the paper are description and compilation method. By observing and researching the influence that social networks and influencers have on them authors concluded that influencer marketing will certainly continue to develop in the future and that it will gain even more importance for business operations. The paper presents the knowledge that the authors who were involved in research on influencers and influencer marketing have come to over the years. The information presented in the paper will serve other authors in researching this field.

This article aims to investigate the influence of CRM on customer satisfaction and company performance to improve business performance. A qualitative approach is used to explore the complex interactions between Customer Relationship Management, customer satisfaction, and company performance from an in-depth perspective. Meanwhile, the literature study method is used to analyze various theories, models and related research findings. This research aims to evaluate the impact of Customer Relationship Management on customer satisfaction and company performance, providing a better understanding of how effective implementation of Customer Relationship Management can strengthen long-term relationships with customers and improve a company's overall business performance.

The Influence of Perceived Price Fairness, Product Quality and Service Quality on Customer Loyalty mediated by Customer Satisfaction at XYZ Furniture Manufacturer in Surabaya

The war between Ukraine and Russia caused disruption in the furniture export process. To overcome this problem, PT. BMN as a company operating in the furniture industry carries out a strategy to maintain the company's business processes by increasing customer loyalty. The goal is to analyze the impact of Perceived Price Fairness, Product Quality and Service Quality on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Loyalty. Quantitative causal type research by collecting data through questionnaires which was analyzed by SEM PLS. Population study is the key person in purchasing furniture. The sample was determined using purposive sampling so that the total sample was 41 respondents. The study prove that Perceived Price Fairness and Product Quality do not have a significant impact on Customer Satisfaction, while Service Quality has a significant impact. Perceived Price Fairness, Product Quality, Service Quality and Customer Satisfaction have a significant impact on Customer Loyalty.

Business intelligence is an e-business app that converts company data into knowledge, enhancing competitiveness. Data analysis is crucial for boosting a company's business performance, converting raw data in the data warehouse into valuable information.

The Influence of Company Growth, Capital Structure, and Business Risk on Company Value with Company Size as a Moderating Variable in Property and Real Estate Sector Companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange

This research aims to analyze the influence of company growth, capital structure, and business risk on company value. This research also aims to analyze company size in moderating the relationship between company growth, capital structure and business risk on company value. The population in this study were property and real estate sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2018 to 2022. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling, so the sample obtained were 33 companies. The analysis technique used in this research uses panel data regression analysis using EViews 13 as a data processing tool. The results of this research prove that capital structure has a positive effect on company value, while company growth and business risk have a negative effect on company value. Company size is not able to moderate the relationship between company growth, capital structure, and business risk on company value.

Implementasi ERP Odoo untuk Peningkatan Sistem Informasi Bisnis Perusahaan menggunakan Metode Accelereted SAP

The development of information technology in the business world is important for companies, one of which is the development of information systems in solving problems and managing various business transactions. Implementing ERP in companies is one of the developments in business information systems. This research aims to implement the Odoo ERP system business processes to improve the company's business information system so that work can be more efficient and integrated in one business process. The Odoo application was implemented using the Accelerated SAP method starting from the project preparation phase to the final preparation phase. Analysis was carried out by observation and interviews. This research involved 1 Acount Recevaibel staff member, and 1 HRD at PT Tiara Fajar Transportindo as research subjects. System testing using black box is carried out to minimize errors in the functions used.. The findings show that the document module, recruitment module and employee module in the Odoo application can be used as an update to the existing business system. Testing in black box tasting shows that the system is in accordance with expectations. Therefore, implementing the Odoo application is suitable for use at PT Tiara Fajar Transportindo.

How is the textile product development process managed? Exploring multiple dimensions and best practices in different firms of the production chain

PurposeThis paper aims to describe the product development process (PDP) of companies in the textile industry, seeking to understand the dynamics of their management from different actors along the production chain.Design/methodology/approachQualitative empirical research adopted a multiple case studies design in five large Brazilian organizations, each representing a link in the production chain.FindingsTextile PDP follows structured steps. However, it is still an informal process. The use of methodologies and tools for decision-making and control gates throughout the process is limited. Performance indicators do not cover all dimensions of the PDP since sales and profit are the main parameters for assessing projects. The predevelopment macro phase varies according to the product type and the company's business model, whereas the postdevelopment macro phase is nonexistent. PDP projects are executed through collective efforts of multiple departments in cross-functional teams, except for the commodities firms.Practical implicationsThe study allows managers of Brazilian textile companies to understand the best practices in the PDP and those that require more attention, taking into account different business models and sectors of the production chain.Originality/valueOur results contribute to the literature and practitioners by providing an overview of PDP management in the textile industry, covering its different production chain actors, types of projects and companies' characteristics.

Organization Communication for Leadership Training Program to Create Sustainability

Communication by a leader plays an important role in the process of conveying information, ideas and other things within an organisation. A leader's ability to communicate with employees, stakeholders, and clients in the most effective way is key. How organisational communication is applied in the training programme received by leaders. In the practice, decision-making, miscommunication, and ineffectiveness of activities still have the potential to occur. For this reason, research organization communication flow for leadership training program is needed. So that the company's business can be effective and sustainable. This research using a qualitative approach will deepen and analyse. The informants used as sources in this research are project leaders, expert instructors, organisational communication experts, user/client representatives and business development. The results showed the importance of having organisational communication to make training effective. The communication chosen should be in accordance with the culture of the organisation, and the success of the training also needs to be communicated to the public so that the organisation has good institutional value. Effective communication plays an important role in the success of leadership training programmes that aim to promote sustainability in business organisations.

The concept of developing security components based on the development of the company's logistics business processes

In the context of the ongoing digital revolution, the development of generative design, machine learning, the active use of 3D marketing in advertising, 3D printing technologies, new principles of logistics and computer-aided design systems, the business processes of the enterprise are radically changing. There is a need to deepen the orientation of business processes to the customer, and enterprises need to solve the problem of ensuring low cost of both the business processes themselves and the security components supporting them. Due to the complexity of the integration of information systems, it is necessary to create in advance a concept for the development of security components based on the development of the company's logistics business processes. Obviously, it is necessary not only to take into account the aspects of information security (IS) when improving business processes, but to consider the problem comprehensively, that is, to develop both a concept and a methodology for developing, implementing business processes, their development, and estimating the cost of IS components. It is necessary to ensure the flexibility and adaptation of the implemented business processes of the enterprise.

A practical and robust approach for solving the multi‐compartment vehicle routing problem under demand uncertainty using machine learning

AbstractThe multi‐compartment vehicle routing problem is an extension of the vehicle routing problem and consists of designing a set of routes to perform the collection or delivery of different product types from customers with minimal costs. The product types are incompatible with each other and must be transported separately in multiple compartments. In practice, several uncertainties such as uncertainty in demands can arise, where the exact demand of customers is not known at the time of planning. To deal with these uncertainties, decision‐makers have to rely on robust solutions. A solution is considered robust when it can resist perturbations in every possible demand scenario as much as possible. In the day to day business of most logistic companies, historical data about each customer can be stored and used to make intelligent decisions regarding the expected demands. In this article, we propose an adaptive large neighborhood search for solving the robust multi‐compartment vehicle routing problem under demand uncertainty and present a robust solution approach for the problem in practical settings by employing machine learning. We show that by using our approach, the solutions obtained have lower recourse costs and have a lower gap between expected and actual costs, which is a favorable outcome to have in practice.

Implementation of digital twins as a tool for increasing the efficiency of business operations

ABSTRACT This research aims to evaluate the impact of implementing digital twins on companies’ operational activities in terms of enhancing their efficiency. Research methods include data analytics and visualization to explore the intricacies of creating and utilizing digital twins among high-tech leaders, as well as the correlation between expenses on innovative digital twin solutions and company revenues, followed by clustering to assess the impact of costs associated with the development and implementation of digital twins on enhancing the efficiency of business operational activities. In this context, the research presents a novel approach to measuring the influence of digital twin implementation on the efficiency of operational activities of high-tech companies based on correlation and cluster analysis. The findings indicate that all selected high-tech companies analyzed successfully applied digital twins to enhance their operational efficiency, as evidenced by the high correlation coefficient between expenses on digital twins and company revenues. Cluster analysis, distinguishing between two clusters of leaders and followers in the use of digital twins, allowed for identifying some distinctive characteristics of a leader in digital twin utilization and presenting a vision for transitioning to management based on the digitization of all company business processes.

Influence of Inventory Turnover, Receivable Turnover, and Sales Growth on Profitability with Good Corporate Governance as a Moderating Variable

This research aims to examine and analyze the influence of inventory turnover, receivable turnover and sales growth partially and simultaneously on ROA in trading and distribution business companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this research are trading and distribution business companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling technique used in this research was the purposive sampling method and 12 companies were obtained. The analysis technique in this research uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) using the SPSS 29 program. The results of this research conclude that inventory turnover has an effect on profitability while receivable turnover and sales growth have no effect on profitability. While the Independent Board of Commissioners can significantly influence the relationship between inventory turnover and profitability, the Independent Board of Commissioners cannot influence or is unable to moderate the relationship between receivable turnover and sales growth and profitability.

Creating Sustainability Through Talent Management Improvement: PT USAHA DAGANG INDONESIA

This study analyzes the Human Resource (HR) challenges at PT Usaha Dagang Indonesia (ExportHub.id), a private company dedicated to promoting Indonesian products globally through a digital export ecosystem. Despite having a clear vision and mission, PT UDI faces significant HR issues, particularly in planning, recruitment, and people development. The company lacks defined values, a comprehensive HR roadmap, and structured job descriptions, resulting in high employee turnover and unclear career paths. Competency development and performance management systems are underdeveloped, leading to subjective performance evaluations and inadequate career development strategies. Interviews with HR personnel and an examination of internal and external factors revealed these issues. Recommendations include transforming HR functions from administrative to strategic, developing a comprehensive HR roadmap, and implementing objective performance management and career development programs. These strategies aim to enhance HR efficiency, retain talent, and align HR practices with the company's vision, mission, and business goals.
