АНАЛИЗ ESG ПОКАЗАТЕЛЕЙ В РАЗВИВАЮЩИХСЯ КОМПАНИЯХ И ОЦЕНКА ИХ ВЛИЯНИЯ НА ФИНАНСОВЫЕ ПОКАЗАТЕЛИ КОМПАНИЙ

The purpose of this study is to identify relevant evaluation criteria for the components of E (Environmental - environmental responsibility), S (Social - social responsibility) and G (Governance - managerial responsibility) of the studied companies in various industries. The study is based on data from companies operating in various sectors, including energy, chemical industry, metallurgy, oil and gas, real estate, retail, telecommunications and transport.

Performance of Chinas Macroeconomic Indicators in a Regression Model-Based Sales Forecasting

The impact of macroeconomic indicators on sales forecasts is a topic worthy of corporate consideration in China. However, previous research on this topic is rarely based on the Chinese context and lacks discussion of specific industry scenarios. In this study, 5 macroeconomic indicators that the Chinese government and people are concerned about are selected and put into the regression model and the AIC model selection criterion to study their performance in sales forecasts of 4 industries in China. It is concluded that under Chinas national conditions, Disposable Income per Capita and National Fixed Asset Investment are two macroeconomic indicators that deserve attention and perform better than other indicators in sales forecasts, and they have hardly been mentioned in previous studies. At the same time, the most appropriate model for sales forecasting in each industry contains different combinations of macroeconomic indicators. It is believed that this result is valuable for companies in various industries, and will be inspiring for subsequent research in the field of sales forecasts.

СТРАТЕГІЧНІ АЛЬЯНСИ ЯК ІНСТРУМЕНТ СИНЕРГІЇ МІЖНАРОДНОГО БІЗНЕСУ

The article investigates the role of strategic alliances in developing international business. This study aims to analyze the essence, forms, types, advantages, and disadvantages of strategic alliances, as well as to identify key success factors and potential risks associated with their formation. The research methodology includes a comprehensive literature review and a case study analysis of successful strategic alliances between leading international companies in various industries. The study results demonstrate that strategic alliances have become a powerful tool for achieving synergy and enhancing the competitiveness of companies in international markets. The article highlights the importance of careful planning, partner selection, clear goal setting, and continuous monitoring for the effective implementation of strategic alliances. The study also examines current trends in the development of strategic alliances in the context of globalization and digital transformation of business. The practical value of the study lies in providing insights and recommendations for companies considering the formation of strategic alliances to expand their global presence and achieve sustainable growth in the face of increasing competition and technological challenges. The article concludes by emphasizing the growing significance of strategic alliances as a key instrument for synergy and competitiveness in the international business environment and outlines potential directions for future research in this field. The study delves into the various motivations behind the formation of strategic alliances, such as access to new markets, sharing of risks and costs, acquisition of complementary resources and capabilities, and enhancement of innovation potential. The article also discusses the critical role of trust, communication, and cultural compatibility in the success of strategic alliances, highlighting the need for effective governance mechanisms and conflict-resolution strategies. The article also addresses the challenges and limitations of strategic alliances, such as the potential for opportunistic behaviour, loss of autonomy, and difficulties in integration and coordination, and suggests ways to mitigate these risks through proper due diligence, contractual safeguards, and ongoing relationship management.

조직구성원의 메타인지가 적응적 수행성과에 미치는 영향

This study aimed to examine the mediating effect of Self-Efficacy and the moderating effect of Psychological Safety Climate on the relationship between organizational members' Metacognition and Adaptive Performance, which is required to adapt to a continuously changing organizational environment, and to explore the mechanisms that enhance the effectiveness of Metacognition in influencing Adaptive Performance. To test the hypotheses, a total of 360 questionnaires were collected from employees of domestic companies in various industries with more than 300 employees and analyzed.
 As a result of the study, first, the direct effect between organizational members’ Metacognition and Adaptive Performance was confirmed. Second, Self-Efficacy was found to mediate the relationship between organizational members’ Metacognition and Adaptive Performance. Third, both simple moderating effect(reinforcing effect) and conditional indirect effect of Psychological Safety Climate on the relationship between Self-Efficacy and Adaptive Performance was identified.
 This study contributes to the extension and development of the existing research on Metacognition by empirically testing the mechanisms and boundary conditions between Metacognition and Adaptive Performance of organizational members. In addition, theoretical and practical implications of the findings are discussed, as well as limitations of the study and directions for future research.

Impact of Investments in Green Technologies on Energy Security and Sustainable Development in the Future

One of the key areas of technological development in the world is the development of the so-called green technologies, which allow to ensure the required level of economic growth without creating additional environmental risks. In recent years, green investments in general, and green bonds, in particular, have become an effective tool for financing green projects. The purpose of the study was to determine the impact of the development of green technologies on energy security and sustainable development of energy technologies. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were solved: the essence and main directions of development of investments in green technologies in the modern investment space were determined; the volume of investments in green technologies in the world was estimated; possible directions of influence of investments in green technologies on energy security were outlined. It is established that green bonds and green investments in general can attract investors and create prerequisites for effective ensuring a sufficient level of environmental safety. It is also noted that ESG criteria are increasingly penetrating the financial sector. The emergence of green investments is associated with growing requirements for environmental friendliness of production and corporate social responsibility. According to market participants, over the next five years, many of the world's largest companies will add ESG ratings to traditional credit ratings and metrics. In general, analysing the effectiveness of investments in green technologies will help to make informed decisions and choose optimal development strategies that help to reduce the negative impact on the environment and increase the competitiveness of companies in the global market. The study concluded that investments in green technologies have potential opportunities for companies in various industries, but the success of such investments depends on a thorough financial assessment, risk management, and long-term development strategy.

Analysis and thinking of Hongda New Material Financial Fraud Case

With the continuous development of the economy, emerging companies in various industries are also competing for flowers, so information stakeholders in all aspects will pay more attention to the appreciability of profits when using financial statements, and accountants will be more likely to whitewash the statements. However, the occurrence of financial fraud will not only cause huge losses to enterprises, but also expose some shortcomings in various aspects of business ethics and professional ethics. Therefore, this paper analyzes the financial fraud incidents of Hongda New Materials, which then leads to various business ethics and professional ethics thinking problems such as the lack of ethics of financial personnel, the ineffective internal control system of enterprises, and the incomplete construction of industry rule of law, and gives suggestions for feasible measures.

The Effect of Green Human Resource Management on Green Supply Chain Management

In the 21st century, rising concerns about environmental warnings has increased the importance of protecting the environment in different societies and organizations. A review of the specialized literature in this regard states that appropriate environmental management in companies requires the support of human resource management. Therefore, this research aims to investigate the role of green human resources management on the green supply chain management and the role of variables such as recruitment and selection, training, performance evaluation and rewards on the green supply chain management. In this research, data were collected through a researcher-made questionnaire and distributed electronically between 59 managers and experts from 40 manufacturing companies of various industries in Iran. All of the questionnaires were used. The Cronbach's alpha in the questionnaire was 0.70, which is an acceptable value. Finally, data was analysed using the LISREL software. The results of the research variables showed that the variable of recruitment and selection with the loading factor of 4.38, training with the loading factor of 4.37, performance evaluation with the loading factor of 4.91, and rewards with the loading factor of 4.92 analysed. The level of significance in all variables is less than 5%, which indicates confirmation of the relevant hypotheses. The results affirmed that the factors of the green human resources management were very influential on the green supply chain management. Additionally, the results illustrated that obtaining and recruiting suitable staff who have the competencies, skills, knowledge and ability to learn the future education, their training and development, assessment of the process with the aim of determining the results of the work of an employee and facilities shared by staff all have a significant impact on the green supply chain management

Pengaruh Current Ratio,Quick Ratio,Cash Ratio,Debt To Equity Ratio Dan Sales Growth Terhadap Profitabilitas Perusahaan Aneka Industri Yang Terdaftar Di BEI Tahun 2017-2018

This study aims to explore the relationship between financial parameters and profitability of companies in various industries listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2017 and 2019. Profitability is the dependent variable in this study, while debt to equity ratio, current ratio, quick ratio, cash ratio, and sales growth are independent factors. The research sample used is purposive sampling, and the following standards are used: (1) companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange; (2) various industrial enterprises; and (3) businesses that have comprehensive annual financial statements for 2017 to 2019. Through sampling, 25 businesses from various industries were identified as meeting these criteria. The results of the regression analysis stated that the current ratio, quick ratio, and cash ratio did not have a significant effect on the company's profitability. However, debt to equity ratio and sales growth have a significant influence on a company's profitability. Thus, it can be said that the use of financial ratios such as debt to equity ratio and sales growth can increase profitability for the company. This research has several practical implications for companies in various industries, namely companies can consider the use of debt to equity ratio and sales growth in making strategic decisions to increase profitability. However, it can be noted that the results of this study are only valid in the specified research period, so companies need to conduct follow-up research to ensure the use of appropriate financial ratios in the long term

УПРАВЛІННЯ ІННОВАЦІЙНОЮ АКТИВНІСТЮ ГАЗОВИДОБУВНИХ ПІДПРИЄМСТВ В УМОВАХ ЗМІНИ РИНКОВОЇ ДИНАМІКИ

In today's conditions, the strategic and innovative development path of Ukraine is being actively discussed. The goal of the innovation strategy is to maximize the development of all sectors of the economy, increase the quality of life of the population to a level that can be compared with advanced developed countries, and create a stable foundation for life. Preservation of the raw material vector of development makes it difficult to achieve this goal. The Ukrainian economy is still dominated by traditional technologies, techniques, organization and management developed in the last century. The purpose of the work is to reveal the principles of managing the innovative activity of gas production enterprises in the conditions of changing market dynamics. The realization of the goal is ensured by the support of a complex and systematic approach to research, subject-object and structural-functional approaches. The article reveals the principles of managing the innovative activity of gas production enterprises in the conditions of changing market dynamics. It is emphasized that the use of innovations in the activities of gas and oil processing enterprises in the modern economy plays an important role, they are the basis of the competitiveness of enterprises, increase the efficiency of their activities, contribute to the improvement of the quality of products and services. The diagram of the intensity of innovative activity of companies of various industries is graphically presented, based on the results of the analysis of the presented diagram, it was concluded that gas production companies are seriously lagging behind in the intensity of research and development compared to companies in other sectors of the economy. It is emphasized that in today's conditions there is a high degree of wear and tear of fixed assets of oil and gas enterprises, the presence of old gas-bearing wells, slow development of new wells, low costs for technological innovations negatively affect the innovative path of the industry's development. Innovative technologies that are actively used in the activities of gas production enterprises are an important spectrum of development. The linear trend of investments in research and development works in absolute values is graphically presented. The result of the work is a series of recommendations on approaches to the management of innovative activity for the development of gas-producing enterprises in the conditions of market dynamics, which in the future will help researchers to understand the essence of the process of innovation management in companies of the oil and gas industry, to explore ways of increasing the efficiency of managing the innovative development of gas-producing enterprises of Ukraine.

The influence of entrepreneurial innovations in building competitive advantage: the mediating role of entrepreneurial thinking

PurposeDespite the widespread recognition of the significance of entrepreneurial innovations in driving financial success and building firms' competitive advantage, there is a lack of empirical investigation into their impact on organizations. This research paper aims to address this gap by exploring how entrepreneurial innovations can contribute to firms' competitive advantage and the mediating role of entrepreneurial thinking in this relationship. To answer these research questions, this paper utilizes the resource-based view (RBV) of the firm and the dynamic capabilities view (DCV).Design/methodology/approachThe study employed a quantitative research design, and survey data were collected from 102 chief executive officers (CEOs) of Jordanian manufacturing companies in various industries. Structural equation modeling was used to test the hypothesized relationships.FindingsThe findings of this study suggest that there is a positive and significant impact of entrepreneurial innovation and thinking on the competitive advantage of firms. The authors also found that entrepreneurial thinking positively mediates this relationship. This study’s results support the RBV and DCV perspectives, which suggest that firms need to leverage unique resources and capabilities and develop dynamic capabilities to achieve a sustained competitive advantage.Originality/valueThe significance of this study lies in its contribution to the literature on the relationship between entrepreneurial innovation, thinking and competitive advantage. While previous research has explored these concepts separately, this study integrates them into a comprehensive framework that highlights the mediating role of entrepreneurial thinking in the relationship between entrepreneurial innovation and competitive advantage.

Stock Price Prediction Using Time Series Forecasting

Abstract: Accurately predicting stock market returns is a very difficult task due to the volatile and non-linear nature of financial stock markets. With the advent of artificial intelligence and increasing computing power, programmed forecasting methods have proven to be more efficient in predicting stock prices. In this work, artificial neural networks and random forest techniques are used to, predicted the next day's closing prices for five companies in various industries. Financial Data: Use the opening, high, low and closing prices to create new variables that will be used as inputs to the model. The model is evaluated against the standard strategy metrics RMSE and MAPE. The low values of these two indicators indicate that the model is efficient in predicting the closing price of the stock. Accurately predicting stock market returns is a very difficult task due to the volatile and non-linear nature of financial stock markets. Role Ambiguity, Role Conflict Dan Role Overload Sebagai Prediktor Cyberloafing Behavior

Cyberloafing behavior is a form of withdrawal deviance in the workplace which is increasingly surfacing along with technological developments. Cyberloafing behavior not only has a positive impact but also has a negative impact on the company. To maximize the positive impact and minimize the negative impact, this research has an urgency to examine predictors that can explain the occurrence of cyberloafing behavior. The study was conducted using employees from various companies in various industries as research samples. The results of this study indicate that cyberloafing behavior is explained by role ambiguity, role conflict and role overload.

Imitation or Development? Physical Retailers in China

E-Commerce is becoming increasingly important as a retailing channel especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, and large retailing companies in various industries has decided to embrace e-commerce. Nevertheless, some of the physical retailers not only managed to compete with e-commerce retailers but also gained exceptional growth even during the most stressful times of COVID-19 and yet has not received much scholarly attention. This research utilizes the concept of imitation strategy and development strategy as a theoretical lens to analyze how different attributes of the physical retailers influenced consumers’ decision-making process in the early post-pandemic era. The findings show that developing physical retailers’ unique attributes can be a more effective strategy when comparing to imitating e-commerce attributes. This study also discovered new consumer behavior patterns that can influence the effectiveness of the existing marketing channels and techniques. This research contributes to both academic and practical fields by developing cumulative theoretical frameworks related to physical retailing and e-commerce, and by offering corresponding strategic suggestions for retailers to obtain competitive advantage in the fast-changing retailing market.

Deconstructing Risk Factors for Predicting Risk Assessment in Supply Chains Using Machine Learning

Risk management is an ongoing process that includes several stages of mapping and identification, analysis, and evaluation, planning, and implementation to reduce risks and ensure ongoing control. Risk management along the supply chains has become more significant in recent years due to an increased complexity of the relationships between components in the chain as well as various disruptions such as climate change, COVID-19, or geo-political scenarios. The current literature alongside the increase in complexity and frequency of risk events, leads us to the single, most prominent challenge in risk management today: the auditor’s subjectivity in determining the risk levels. Simply stated, two different auditors may assess a given situation differently due to their specific history and experience. Specifically, it seems to be extremely difficult to find cases in which different auditors, working on the same organization, made the same risk assessment. With that in mind, this research aims to reduce the human subjectivity bias and reach a risk evaluation that is as objective as possible, by using the machine learning approach. For this aim the paper introduces a new risk assessment framework based on factors analysis and artificial neural network as the predictive model. We first introduced a new approach of deconstructing the risk factors into their basic elements and analyzing them as a feature vector. Next, we collected unique, real-world data of risk surveys and audit reports from 60 industrial companies of various industries (from plastic and metal factories to logistic and medical devices companies). Lastly, we constructed a neural network to predict the risk levels of operational processes in the industry. We trained our model on 42 samples and managed to achieve a R2 score of 0.9 on the test set of 18 samples. Our model was validated and managed to predict the risk accuracy with R = 0.95 in accordance with the human auditor results.

STRUCTURE AND FUNCTIONING SYSTEM OF THE FUEL AND ENERGY COMPLEX OF UKRAINE

The energy potential of Ukraine under wartime conditions has been clarified. The work of scientists, researchers, and practitioners regarding the goals and strategies of developing the fuel and energy potential system is analyzed. The main approaches to its formation and structure are outlined. Significant flaws in the organizational and territorial significance of the fuel and energy complex of Ukraine are outlined. It became known that the energy and hydropower industries lagged the main branches of fuel and energy resources relative to the broad scale of the increase in energy consumption. This, in turn, provoked a shortage of coal mass consumption at the state electric and thermal capacities. It was determined that after the collapse of the USSR, in Ukraine, the energy system occupied the first place in the state economy. Its priority was the satisfaction of the potential of the domestic energy demand, as well as exports to the countries of the European Union. This process supplies primary energy resources, including oil products, natural gas, oil, and nuclear fuel. At the same time, Ukraine somehow failed to form an adequate basis for the implementation of energy policy with the aim of stable and balanced development of the energy sector and the formation of a system of energy independence from foreign suppliers. It is known that once, the energy industry of Ukraine became the leading supplier of energy raw materials for other countries. As a result of the analysis of indicators regarding the income of companies in various industries, it can be stated that in 2021, the Ukrainian economy will remain raw-based and will continue. Even though the solution to the problems of the existence of the fuel and energy complex of Ukraine is aimed at achieving national goals, at the same time, there are minor problems. Therefore, in our opinion, the short-term and long-term stages of its implementation should be considered when developing an appropriate strategy. As for the effectiveness of the mentioned strategy, it is worth justifying the necessary conceptual toolkit and the methodological directions for further generalization. Considering the content of the Energy Strategy of Ukraine until 2035, "Security, energy efficiency, competitiveness," we believe it is worth developing appropriate types of energy strategies regarding the increasing level of energy efficiency, strengthening the norms and principles of energy security.

STRATEGICKÁ SPOLOČENSKÁ ZODPOVEDNOSŤ AKO MODEL SÚLADU V PROSPECH UDRŽATEĽNEJ INOVAČNEJ VÝKONNOSTI

Purpose of the article The paper aims to identify approaches to understanding CSR, emphasizing the importance of strategic Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the context of sustainable innovation performance. The paper answers two main questions: what is strategic CSR, i.e. what does a system integrating a strategic approach to CSR look like and when is the right moment to change the way of management, align the interests of stakeholders and take steps to change (to introduce or develop a selected concept, system, model, etc.)? Methodology/methods Based on the analysis of publications, studies, managerial methods and tools, the article proposes a possible procedure for an framework linking corporate responsibility with innovations, which can be beneficial for aligning the interests of all stakeholders in an organization. The contribution is based also on the relationship between quality and CSR, also because CSR is the part of quality management concepts based on continuous improvement and increase efficiency and effectiveness of business operations. Scientific aim The intention is to raise awareness and develop the application of the strategic -based CSR concept as the compliance model in order to ensure an effective system in organizations. The task is to identify a performance tool that can be used by SMEs for the benefit of harmonizing requirements, interests and expectations within the framework of developing business activities. Findings CSR as a model for aligning the interests and strategic activities of a company is an ideal concept even for smaller companies. Companies without systematic application of management tools in their processes, such as self assessment, will not be competitive. The article presents a proposal for a concept of developing system and informs about the self assessment as the method of sustainable model of compliance management. A framework has been constructed that allows identifying when an SME should take action and change its approach in managing its activities, i.e. where he is on the path of reconciling interests and requirements. Conclusions (limits, implications etc.) The compiled CSR maturity grid has the potential to strengthen the economic, social and environmental cohesion of SMEs, to strengthen continuous improvement, and last but not least, it contributes in a fundamental way to the sustainability of the system, i.e. it is understood as a method of managing the sustainable development of a competitive business. The contribution has certain limitations and for this reason it is also desirable to develop a self-assessment tool for effective compliance management of companies and also to carry out studies on the possibilities of applying strategic CSR in companies of various industries.

Analysis of the Technological Position in Relation to Aluminium Casting Production

The dynamically developing production market, and in particular the metallurgic industry, enforces constant improvement of the level of production efficiency and product quality, which influences company position on the market and the level of its competitiveness. Therefore, the aim of the study was to determine the current position of the foundry enterprise, taking into account the aluminium gearbox casting, in the context of tech-nological capabilities and market position, as well as to identify critical factors and, finally, to indicate the conditions for its strengthening. The study used a 3x3 matrix. The company under study, in the context of manufacturing the analysed product, is classified in the area of "marketing improvement". This area demon-strates the need to take measures to establish a marketing and development department and the need to make better use of the company's identified technological potential. The method presented in the study can be useful for analysing the position of manufacturing and service companies in various industries, in order to select an appropriate development strategy.

Responding to Customer’s Decision-making Intention in Pandemic Scenario: Indicators for Choosing the Right Marketing Automation Platform

The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted the marketing activities of companies in various industries and has had a dramatic impact on the global economy. Digital technologies played a vital role during the lockdown as they facilitated communication between organizations and customers. Channels for reaching customers and marketing communications are changing rapidly. Traditional buy-sell relationships between customers and companies are becoming more complex and must be understood in a more differentiated way. Supporting marketing activities by exploring digital technologies, this study is conducted to (1) provide insights into current marketing automation and customer decision-making intentions implemented by companies, and (2) identify the motivations, benefits, and challenges driving the adoption of digital marketing automation. A holistic MA model for choosing a MA solution complements the basic information and shows the selection procedure and the most important selection and evaluation indicators.

Managing work and nonwork responsibilities when labour protection is weak: The role of family supportive supervisor behaviours

AbstractKnowledge concerning the reconciliation of work and life in developing countries with weak labour protection and little governmental support (e.g. statutory work–life support) is still very limited. In this mixed‐method study, we explore how employees manage their work and nonwork responsibilities in Lebanon—a developing country with poor national and organisational work–life support. Findings from a qualitative study of 10 blue‐ (BC),10 white‐collar (WC) workers and 10 HR professionals from companies in various industries identified contextual challenges and strategies to reconcile work and nonwork responsibilities. In a quantitative study based on a survey of 269 employees, we examined the effect of family supportive supervisor behaviour (FSSB) for different groups of workers and explored one potential mechanism of FSSB, namely, schedule fit. Results show that FSSB increases employees' perceptions of schedule fit, which, in turn, minimises their work–life conflict (WLC). We also found that BC workers seem to benefit more from FSSB than WC workers. We inform work–life research on less supportive contexts and offer practical recommendations for HR managers to operate successfully within these environments.
