Problems in Fulfilling the Rights of Crime Victims Due to Misconceptions of Restitution Terminology

Restitution rights are problematic in fulfilling the rights of victims of crime, mainly due to misconceptions about restitution terminology. This research aims to explore and analyze the misconceptions of restitution terminology by the society and its impact on the fulfillment of the rights of victims of crime using the analysis of Social Construction Theory. This research uses an empirical juridical approach by utilizing primary data in the form questionnaires distributed to community service participants and the focused discussion process in Community Service activities and secondary data in the form of primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials. The findings of this study indicate that the misconception of restitution terminology is formed through the social construction of legal norms on the wrong meaning of restitution terminology These misconceptions take the form of restitution being understood as peace, restitution is the same as compensation and restitution results in the elimination of imprisonment for the perpetrator. These misconceptions have implications for the non-fulfillment of the rights of victims of crime, which will arrise in the difficulty in submitting requests for restitution, the victim's perception of justice is reduced and a negative impact on the victim's recovery process. This misconception will also lead to weak law enforcement against criminal offenders.

SOSIALISASI BATAS USIA NIKAH SEBAGAI UPAYA PENCEGAHAN STUNTING

The requirement of baligh or sufficient age in marriage is very important because from existing cases, many marriages are carried out by early childhood or those who are not old enough are very risky. The age of first marriage is one of the important factors that affect fertility and will end in the growth and development of children who fail or are called stunted. The purpose of community service is to reduce the high stunting rate of 17.8 in Bekasi Regency, one of which is Medalkrisna Village, Bojongmangu District. The target of community service participants is adolescents in Medalkrisna Village who are feared to be perpetrators of early marriage with the implementation method, namely community education in the form of socialization. With this service, it is hoped that the community can increase understanding regarding the negative impact of early marriage and prevent stunting. The results of the program show that this socialization activity went well and was successful in increasing knowledge related to the impact of early marriage based on an increase in the percentage of high categories in the post test.

GERAKAN INVESTASI SYARIAH DALAM PERENCANAAN KEUANGAN BAGI MASYARAKAT DESA KARANG INDAH

This community service aims to increase the understanding and participation of the people of Karang Indah Village, Bojongmangu District, Bekasi Regency in making sharia investments to improve the economic welfare of the village community. The problem encountered is that there are still many people in Karang Indah Village who do not understand how to manage finances properly, this causes many people to be trapped in a circle of poverty and difficulties in achieving economic welfare. To overcome this, the service team carried out a community service movement by holding a sharia investment socialization program to increase financial literacy in the community and provide education on how to manage finances effectively and efficiently. The service method uses socialization and assistance to the community in using the Bibit application to make it easier for people to invest. The results of the community service activities showed that this program was successful as seen from the enthusiasm of the community service participants who managed to understand and increase literacy on how to manage finances in investing through the Bibit application

Optimalisasi Pemanfaatan Tanaman Herbal Sebagai Obat Anti-Gout Arthritis Sebagai Upaya Pencegahan Penyakit Gagal Ginjal

Health education about the benefits of herbal plants as anti-gout arthritis drugs needs to be done to help people increase their knowledge so that they can apply wise actions and attitudes that can improve their quality of life. The purpose of community service activities is to find out the effect of health socialization on the use of herbal plants on gout by assessing the increase in knowledge, attitudes, actions of participants and assistance in making ginger tea as a prevention of gout arthritis, as well as conducting gout screening tests. Methods of community service activities in the form of counseling, outreach, and education as well as assistance in making ginger medang which will then be evaluated with pre and post counseling questionnaires. The number of participants 30 people are people who live in the work area of the Palembang Kertapati Health Center. An indicator of the success of counseling is an increase in the knowledge, attitudes and actions of community service participants. In the results of the study, it was known that the level of knowledge before socialization and education was 36.7% and increased after socialization (86.7%); attitude of participants before socialization 80% after socialization increased to 100%; action before socialization 63.3% after socialization 100%. It is known that there is an influence from education and outreach in the form of increasing knowledge, attitudes and actions of the community at the Kertapati Health Center, Palembang City, South Sumatra so that a follow-up program is needed in the form of intensive counseling for health center cadres as the spearhead of information on a wider range of people.

Digital Platform for Confidential Complaint Resolution: Empowering Anonymity in Online Reporting

This report explores an innovative anonymous authentication system designed for academic services within the university environment. The primary objective of this proposed system is to safeguard students' identities when reporting instances of academic misconduct within the university system. The system comprises two fundamental sub- systems: one dedicated to user management and the other focusing on file management for feedback submitted by students. The "User Management" system facilitates tasks such as new enrollment, registration verification, and key distribution to system users. Meanwhile, the "Student Feedback" system assists users in providing feedback, encrypting and describing files, and submitting feedback. The file encryption process employs the Attribute-Based Encryption (ABE) algorithm. Both systems are interconnected through a confidential API. In the testing phase of this study, data from Pune University's community service participants in the year 2023 were utilized. The tests covered processes such as anonymous authentication, encryption, file description, key distribution, feedback submission, and feedback status. The evaluation produced positive results, indicating that the user authentication process takes only 4.6 seconds, while sending feedback requires 6.4 seconds. PELATIHAN APLIKASI MICROSOFT EXCEL PEMBUATAN SLIP UPAH KARYAWAN PADA UMKM PENGRAJIN TAHU RUMAHAN KECAMATAN CIMANGGIS DEPOK

Small, Micro and Medium Enterprises are one of the backbones of the community economy in the Cimanggis sub-district, Depok. One of the known products is tofu which is produced by MSME business actors in the Cimanggis sub-district, Depok. MSME bag craftsmen in the region still use simple systems and technology in running their business including production, administration,marketing, financial recording and payroll. The aim of this service activity is to provide and introduce how to make salary slips to help prepare and transparency salaries/wages for employees in these MSMEs. The service was carried out online using Zoom Meeting media in the form of presentations and practice (tutorials) in making pay slips, presentations using the Microsoft Office Powerpoint and Microsoft Office Excel applications. Participants in service activities are representatives of MSME business actors in Cimanggis sub-district, Depok and fellow Community Service (PKM) participants. The implementation of the service received enthusiasm from the participants because it was in accordance with the conditions of business actors and could be implemented immediately, easily and cheaply.

SOSIALISASI PENANGGULANGAN BULLYING BERBASIS TEAM BUILDING MENGGUNAKAN PSIKOEDUKASI DI SMK BINA SRIWIJAYA INDONESIA PALEMBANG

Bullying cases in Indonesia occupy the top ranking. Bullying behavior often occurs when someone has shortcomings, both physically and mentally. The impact of bullying on students is in the form of decreased appetite, headaches, embarrassment, and feeling afraid to socialize in social environments. Increasing students' understanding regarding bullying behavior can reduce bullying cases. Bullying can start from uncontrolled levels of aggressive behavior during childhood. However, this can be prevented by increasing supervision of negative associations from children and friends, starting from modeling good things, filtering out children's friends who have a positive effect. The aim of this intervention is to provide students with understanding and knowledge regarding bullying, its types, etc. Bullying affects both boys and girls. The method based on this intervention consists of 4 stages, namely needs assessment for the Counseling Guidance teacher, distribution of bullying questionnaires to students, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with students, provision of materials and games in team building. The series of activities were attended by 40 students consisting of 20 men and 20 women from several representatives of departments at Bina Sriwijaya Indonesia Palembang Vocational School. The results of the intervention activities that have been implemented are that students feel openness in terms of both thoughts and feelings regarding bullying behavior. The service activities at Bina Sriwijaya Indonesia Palembang Vocational School have had a very good impact on the entire school community, especially students, subject teachers, guidance and counseling teachers and all staff and equipment at the school. The Principal welcomed and looked forward to further positive activities at Bina Sriwijaya Indonesia Palembang Vocational School. From the results of a questionnaire conducted on community service participants, 87.5% of students strongly agreed with socialization activities to overcome bullying and 12.5% ​​agreed.

Tata Kelola Sampah Dalam Pembuatan Ecobrik Solusi Ramah Lingkungan Di Sekolah MIS Maura El-Mumtaz Kota Binjai

The dangers of plastic waste are common and disturb both the water, land and air. Ecobricks are a creative way to reduce plastic waste by putting clean plastic waste into plastic bottles and the results will be used for human benefit. Making ecobricks is not yet popular among the wider community. This service activity will provide benefits to various parties, including the community, community service participants and the government. The targets for this service activity are Maura El-Mumtaz Elementary School students in the Tanah Seribu sub-district, Binjai City. Based on the results of community service activities that have been carried out, it can be seen that students can make seats from ecobricks. It is hoped that students will be able to express many more ideas for making ecobricks, not only making them in the form of chairs but also in other shapes. So this can be used as a business opportunity for the community

Upaya Pencegahan Tuberkulosis Anak di Kelurahan Koto Baru Nan XX Lubuk Begalung Kota Padang

Tuberculosis (TB) in children (aged 0-14 years) is a disease caused by the bacteria Mycobacterium tuberculosis. WHO estimates that in 2021 as many as 10.6 million people will be infected with TB worldwide. Six million of them are men, 3.4 million women and 1.2 million children. This community service was carried out at the Koto Baru Nan XX Village Head Office with 20 health cadres on duty at the posyandu. Community service activities consist of education about childhood TB. Apart from that, a pre-test and post-test were also carried out to determine the level of knowledge of community service participants before and after the training. The data was then analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. It is known that there is a significant difference between the level of knowledge before and after counseling regarding pediatric TB among health cadres in Koto Baru Nan XX Lubuk Begalung Village, Padang City. It is hoped that with this activity, health cadres can convey this knowledge to the community, including those present at the posyandu which is held once a month.

EKSISTENSI DONGENG SIRAH NABAWIYAH SEBAGAI STIMULASI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER RELIGIUS ANAK USIA DINI

This service to society is motivated by developments in the times that continue to develop from time to time. Based on this, it is necessary to provide stimulation in terms of strengthening so that children have religious character education through the Sirah Nabawiyah fairy tale. The aim of this community service is so that children can get to know the Prophet Muhammad SAW and emulate the stories that have been told to children. Apart from that, so that children have good character education based on the qualities of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. The targets for community service participants are children aged 5-6 years in the Palangka Raya City area, Central Kalimantan, Indonesia and students of the Early Childhood Islamic Education Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, IAIN Palangka Raya, who are also actively involved in the activities. the. The results of this community service show that children are very enthusiastic in following the fairy tales that are told and enthusiastic. Activities carried out with direct practice include reading the Sirah Nabawiyah fairy tale directly to children to make it easier for children to understand the fairy tale. The hope is that through the Sirah Nabawiyah fairy tale for early childhood, it will be able to stimulate children's religious character education, so that the goal of stimulation will be achieved optimally.

PENGENALAN KEGIATAN EDUPRENEUR BAGI ANAK USIA DINI DI RA AL-MUSLIMUN NURUL ISLAM PALANGKA RAYA

This community service is motivated by the importance of introducing learning to children, especially in introducing edupreneur activities. Based on this, it is necessary to provide an introduction to edupreneur activities in order to enable children to have entrepreneurial education through bazaar activities. The aim of this community service is so that children can get to know about educational activities that have been carried out, namely bazaar activities. Through these activities it can also teach children about transactions when selling, namely the existence of sellers and buyers. The targets for community service participants are children aged 5-6 years who are at RA Al-Muslimun Nurul Islam Palangka Raya and students of the Early Childhood Islamic Education Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, IAIN Palangka Raya, who are also actively involved in this activity. . The results of this community service show that the children are very enthusiastic about taking part in the bazaar activities that have been carried out at school and are enthusiastic. The hope is that through the introduction of edupreneur activities carried out in early childhood, it will be able to stimulate children's character education, introduce children to entrepreneurship education, and increase children's experience because they have carried out edupreneur activities, namely through bazaar activities. So that the aim of the introduction will be achieved optimally.

Penyusunan Menu Makanan Sehat untuk Balita Stunting di Kelurahan Bandarharjo Kota Semarang

Background: Stunting is a condition where babies or children under five years old experience stunting and are malnourished from the time they are still in the womb until they are born. Stunting will begin to appear when the child is two years old. Prolonged problems with malnutrition can cause height growth problems in children, meaning that children become shorter (stunted) than children of the same age. The purpose of the community service activity is to provide knowledge about preparing healthy food menus to mothers who have stunted toddlers. Method: This community service was carried out by conducting outreach and practicing healthy food menu preparation in the Bandarharjo sub-district, Semarang City with a total of 20 participants. Community service participants are mothers who have stunted toddlers. Result: The results of community service regarding preparing healthy food menus for toddlers are very good. Participants were enthusiastic about the material presented. Conclusions: Awareness of the importance of paying attention to fulfilling nutrition for toddlers who experience stunting.

PENGEMBANGAN BERWIRAUSAHA BERBASIS DIGITAL DAN SELF LEADERSHIP

Entrepreneurship development needs to be pursued as early as possible since secondary education. Students who are a digital generation certainly need a positive distribution of digital skills that they generally have today. Digital-based entrepreneurship and self-leadership training is an alternative to helping students train their leadership through concrete activities which can at the same time help them channel their interests and prepare the mentality and skills needed at later stages of education. Student development programs in the form of entrepreneurship and character development programs have been successfully fulfilled in the service in the form of this training. This was proven based on the evaluation after the training which showed that the community service participants considered that the material provided was interesting and new. The resource persons were interactive and clear in providing material, as well as allocating training time that was appropriate to the situation and conditions of the trainees.

The purpose of implementing this community service is to provide information, knowledge, and equip teachers in arrange article ready scientific for published in journal scientific, grow atmosphere academic environment school so that could repair quality education and learning with to do activity study. The methods used in this activity include: (a) lectures or material delivery or information presentation for materials related to making scientific articles for publication, (b) questions and answers that provide opportunities for teachers to explore as much knowledge as possible about writing scientific articles, and (c) simulations to provide opportunities to practice the acquired training materials. The results of the implementation of community service can be felt by the community service team and participants. The training that has been carried out has gone well, smoothly in accordance with the goals to be achieved in this activity, and is very satisfying. The YPPD Vocational School teachers gain knowledge and experience sharing about techniques for writing scientific articles and publications to journals and also expect there will be assistance from FE UNJ lecturers in making articles so that they can be published in scientific journals. This is a good response from the training participants with training in the preparation of scientific article publications for SMK teachers.

Improving Mother’s Knowledge in Early Detection of Pregnancy and Childbirth Complication

Pregnancy and childbirth complications and high risks, which are estimated to occur in 15–20% of pregnant women, are not all detected early. For those detected, not all of them have been handled in a timely and adequate manner. In one of the provinces in Indonesia, namely Lampung, there are still many women giving birth at home. Research results in the form of population-based information about birth complications in mothers must rely on reporting about mothers' experiences through interviews. The Community Health Center has carried out health promotion activities both periodically and incidentally about the health of mothers and babies. However, it is very unfortunate that people do not really understand the danger signs and how to detect early labor, so treatment is still too late. The targets for this activity were 30 pregnant and breastfeeding mothers who came to Posyandu. The types of activities carried out include providing education about recognizing the danger signs of pregnancy and childbirth and using the IKA-LIN booklet as an instrument for detecting childbirth complications. All community service participants were given a pre-test, followed by a presentation regarding the danger signs of pregnancy, after which booklets were given to all participants, and the final stage was the post-test. The final session also included questions and answers regarding the mother's experience during childbirth. There was an increase in mothers' knowledge based on the results of the pre-test and post-test.

Analysis of the Impact of Serpong-Balaraja Toll Road Development on Changes in Social and Economic Conditions of the Kadusirung Village Community, Tangerang Regency

The construction of the Serpong-Balaraja toll road is one of the national development programs aimed at reviving the country's economy, by connecting one region with another so as to accelerate the pace of economic development of the area through which it passes. However, this development has resulted in changes to the geographical conditions in Kadusirung Village, Pagedangan Subdistrict, Tangerang Regency. These changes in geographical conditions can affect changes in the social and economic conditions of the people who live around the toll road construction area. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of the Serpong-Balaraja toll road development on changes in the social and economic conditions of the community in Kadusirung Village, Pagedangan Subdistrict, Tangerang Regency. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The sampling method using purposive sampling technique amounted to 85 respondents consisting of local government officials, traders, and other communities adjacent to the toll road construction area. The research used primary and secondary data. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique uses qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that social relations have changed, with 73% thinking that they are less harmonious. As much as 85% of community participation in community service has decreased. And 94% of respondents thought that accessibility had become more difficult. Meanwhile, the average land area decreased by 20.6%. the type of work changed by 1%. Income decreased by 2.4%. and expenditure increased by 1.1%. this had an impact on changing social interaction relationships in the study area to be more individual than before, and affected some people's income, especially those who earned income as traders and laborers

BIOPRODUCT DEVELOPMENT TECHNOLOGY FROM MICROBE TO BUILD ENTREPRENEURSHIP OF PENJARINGAN SARI RUNGKUT RUSUNAWA RESIDENT

Introduction: in general, residents of flats are a low-income group of people. Economic improvement for Rusunawa residents with concrete efforts is needed to be able to alleviate poverty. Purpose: the community service program's touch is aimed at initiating entrepreneurship among the residents of the flats through providing training on making a variety of microbial bioproducts with economic value, targeting PKK Rusunawa Penjaringan Sari, Rungkut-Surabaya mothers. Method: Community service activities are carried out in 3 stages, namely (1) survey and coordination, (2) workshops and training on making bioproducts from microbes, and (3) Evaluation of activities. Results: Community service participants who took part in the workshop on microbial bioproducts experienced an increase in knowledge about the meaning of microbial bioproducts, types and manufacturing technology. The number of participants who scored 60 and above increased by 95% in the post-test compared to the pre-test. The workshop was able to build participants' skills in making three types of microbial bioproducts, namely yogurt, biosurfactant and liquid organic fertilizer. Positive responses in the form of sentences were very useful for the workshop material, many were focused on the results of the feedback. Especially for yogurt bioproducts, almost all participants considered it very tasty, not inferior to commercial products already on the market. This shows an indication of a very high level of satisfaction. Conclusions: the understanding of community service participants on microbial bioproduct material increased through the workshop, indicated by an increasing of the participants who scored above of 60 in the post-test by 95% compared to the pre-test. Community service members' feedback through testimonials showed that 100% of the participants responded that it was very useful, indicating that the participants were very satisfied with the activity. The workshop can equip participants with skills in making yogurt bioproducts, biosurfactants and liquid organic fertilizers, which in the future are expected to be able to initiate entrepreneurship for the participants.

Community Youth Risk and Protective Factors, Five Years after a Municipal Youth and Family Master Plan in Pomona, California, USA

This study assesses youth community risk and protective factors, five years after a Youth and Family Master Plan, using an integrated conceptual framework which combines community organizing theory and the risk and protective factors (RPF) approach. Results show overall improvements in RPF. Findings reveal positive trends in prosocial involvement through participation in clubs, organizations, activities, community service, and attendance at church or synagogues; reduced community disorganization, such as decreased unsafe feelings in the neighborhood and social disorganization; and lower community transitions and mobility through changes in homes and schools. There were negative trends in the physical environment such as disrepair, permissive substance use, and lower neighborhood attachment, which is the desire to leave the neighborhood. The findings show a convergence of patterns across all methods of analysis for each measure of community youth risk and protective factors, suggesting reliability and a likelihood that the interventions contributed to observed variations between baseline and follow-up. The data patterns in this study align with the assumptions and explanations offered in the two models that make up the integrated conceptual framework. The persistence of some risk factors after five years calls for transformative and sustained social and economic investments in the Pomona community. The patterns also suggest the need to reconsider community organizing models – specifically, the need to go beyond locality development and social planning models and toward social action approaches. This will address complex causes of risk factors, consistent with transformative collective impact initiatives and democracy-driven governance, which grows from the bottom up. A beginning point would be to build on the increased prosocial involvement among youths in Pomona by reconfiguring the Pomona Youth and Family Master Plan (PYFMP) with greater youth and ordinary community members involvement and leadership.

Upaya Mengenali Sindrom Kardiometabolik melalui Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat

Introduction: The Healthy Adjusted Life Expectancy Index (HALE) for 2019 for the Indonesian population is 62.8 years lower than the 71.3 years for standard life expectancy; this is due to the lack of quality of life in Indonesia. The profile of the population in Central Java for the elderly category every year is similar to the increase on a national scale. The fact that the elderly are still working to earn a living indicates that their welfare level is still low. Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are often the cause of premature death before the age of 70. Cardiovascular disease is the number-one killer in the world. Cardiometabolic syndrome is characterized by at least three things: abdominal obesity, increased plasma glucose, increased blood pressure, increased triglycerides, and decreased HDL cholesterol. A study on five members found an average total cholesterol level of 168.9 mg/dl and an average blood pressure of 125.4/80.9 mmHg. Objective: The aim of this community service is to increase awareness and the health status of members of the hypertension care group in Mersi Purwokerto. Methods: This community service method involves coordination with the chief of the hypertension care group, making leaflets, and preparing tools and materials for cholesterol examination. Results: This community service received good active participation from members of the hypertension care group in Mersi, Purwokerto. Overview of the risk of metabolic syndrome in community service participants, namely 32 DM sufferers (55.2%), 25 hypertension sufferers (43.1%), and 45 with high total cholesterol levels (77.6%). Conclusion: The results of this community service are expected to be a screening for participants who have a high risk of cardiometabolic syndrome and a desire to continue to make active and healthy lifestyle changes.

Increasing Knowledge, Attitudes and Behavior of the Community

This service program aims to increase public knowledge about mental health, stunting in infants and toddlers, TB, scabies, high risk for pregnant women and the importance of healthy living by not littering. The method of community service is carried out by means of counseling, lectures, and questions and answers. The media used are televisions and laptops to display material in the form of power points. The data analysis technique carried out is qualitative descriptive analysis. The data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. This service activity was carried out in Babakan Ciparay District, one of the sub-districts in the city of Bandung, especially in RW 06. This service was held in September 2022.Based on the results of community service activities, it can be seen that the knowledge of community service participants increases after counseling is given, this is evidenced by the results of the evaluation carried out for 2 days. The results of the evaluation can be seen from the behavior of the community will maintain better health.
