This volume contains a unique collection of papers collected at 2023 2nd International Conference on Mechanical, Aerospace Technology and Materials Application (MATMA 2023), which took place in Shenyang, China from September 15th to 17th, 2023 (hybrid conference). Each paper recognizes the seminal contributions to mechanical and aerospace technology and materials made by every author, and acknowledges their impact on their own researches. All the scientific participants, many of whom were students, had many fruitful discussions and exchanges that contributed to the success of the Conference. Participants from about 10 countries made the Conference truly international in scope. There were 3 plenary keynote speeches by renowned professors covering different topics of the Conference theme: Prof. Junhui Hu (Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, China) talked on The BAW Based Ultrasonic Manipulation and Fabrication of Micro/Nano Scale Materials, Prof. Kun Li (Chongqing University, China) on Additive Manufacturing and Intelligent Control of High-Performance Metal Materials, and Prof. Laichang Zhang (ECU’s School of Engineering, Australia) on Processing Optimization and Mechanical Performance of Titaniumalloys Fabricated by Powder Bed Fusion. The speakers gave very illuminating speeches that drew many people’s full attention. These speeches, held on Saturday morning, were very accessible to the general audience. In addition, there were quantities of oral and poster presentations on ongoing current researches. These presentations cover the full range of the Conference topics, which include Aerospace Design, Testing and Performance, Aerodynamics and Control, Nanotechnology, Special High-Performance Materials, Combustion and Emission Control, etc.All in all, the 2nd International Conference on Mechanical, Aerospace Technology and Materials Application held in Shenyang was very successful. The plenary speeches and the progress and oral reports bridged the gap between different fields related to mechanical and aerospace technology and materials, making it possible for non-experts in a given area to gain insights into new areas. Also, included among the speakers were several young scientists, who brought new perspectives to their fields. We would like to acknowledge the authors of the papers collected in this present volume, the members of Technical Program Committee and Organizing Committee for their guidance and support, and the referees for their generous work. Our thanks also go to the editors and other staff of Journal of Physics: Conference Series, for their time and kindness in waiting for the final submission of the papers.Given the rapidity with which science is advancing in all the areas covered by MATMA, we expect that these future series conferences of MATMA will be as stimulating as this most recent one was, as indicated by the contributions presented in this Proceedings volume. The Committee of MATMA 2023List of Committee Member is available in this pdf.
