The purpose of this study is to analyse the current situation of dance teaching in colleges and universities, analyse the reasons for it, and put forward corresponding countermeasures. Firstly, the analysis of the current situation of dance teaching in colleges and universities reveals that there are problems such as irrational teaching contents and methods, insufficient teaching resources and facilities, imperfect teaching team and faculty, mismatch between students' qualities and needs, and imperfect teaching evaluation system.
