Design of Lubricating Oil Circulation Refrigeration System for Cigarette Machine

In order to solve the problems of high lubricating oil temperature, fast aging of seals and serious wear of parts during high-speed operation of equipment, a lubricating oil circulation refrigeration system for cigarette machine was designed. The system uses PLC as the main controller, and controls the motor speed through Profibus bus mode to realize the circulating refrigeration of lubricating oil. Through the test with ZJ112 unit as the object,we found that the system runs well and the failure rate is low. The temperature of each lubricating part of the equipment is significantly reduced and kept below 40 ˚C. At the same time, the maintenance time of the equipment is reduced, and the occurrence of cigarette quality accidents is reduced. This technology can provide support for improving the production adaptability of cigarette units.

Operation Parameters Optimisation of a Machine Swarm Using Artificial Intelligence

Due to improper setting of operating parameters, cigarette machines are subject to a high unqualified production rate. For this reason, in this study, a multiobjective optimisation (MOP) method based on the metaheuristic intelligence optimisation is proposed in this study. First, to eliminate interference parameters, the random forest (RF) is used to analyse the parameter importance of the cigarette machine and select the most important operation parameters for the multiobjective optimisation. Second, an artificial neural network (ANN) optimised by the grey wolf optimiser is designed to establish a mirror model of the cigarette machine to fast calculate the machine output quality factors, including the rod break rate, single cigarette weight, and circumference index. Lastly, an improved multiobjective grey wolf optimisation algorithm is used to optimise these three quality factors simultaneously to obtain the optimal operating parameters of the cigarette machine. A machine swarm (including four cigarette machines) in the real world is used to evaluate the developed optimisation method, and the testing results demonstrate that the proposed multiobjective optimisation method is able to improve the three quality factors by at least 50 %, which greatly reduces the unqualified rate of cigarettes.

Study on Stability of Wind Wire Feeding System in Cigarette Factory

This paper studies the high efficiency and stability of the continuous application of the wind wire feeding system. Combined with the technological transformation of the cigarette factory's roll production process characteristics and equipment layout adjustment, this paper optimizes the wind wire feeding operation mode, improves the upgrading space of the system, integrates the system structure, meets the process requirements of medium cigarette production, and solves the problem of large wind speed fluctuation in the process of cut tobacco air feeding The wind speed control is not accurate, so as to save energy consumption and ensure the reliable operation of the wind wire feeding system. The wind wire feeding system is mainly used for the continuous and uniform transportation of tobacco materials such as sheet tobacco and cut tobacco, and has the function of buffer and adjustment between various processes, realizing the automatic transportation of cut tobacco from the silk workshop to the cigarette machine, which has good popularization value.

Research on Cigarette Shape Detection based on Dual Channel Acquisition

The cigarette shape detection system of cigarette machine is to online detect the unqualified cigarettes with warping, paper sticking, flattening and mouth burst in the high-speed flow cigarettes on the production line, and eliminate them in real time to ensure the product quality of finished cigarettes. At present, the photoelectric technology is adopted for the cigarette shape detection sensor, and the output signal range is analog quantity within 0-15Vdc. According to the field installation error, sensor difference and attenuation in use, the front and rear signal ranges are inconsistent. Corresponding modules are required to adjust the reference voltage and magnification of the front and rear channels and output standard 0-10vdc analog quantity. The current module is installed under the max detection wheel and adjusted through the general potentiometer of the internal circuit board. It is independent of the quality detection system and is far away from the MLP man-machine interface of the quality data display. Therefore, the adjustment process is very inconvenient, the device improves the calibration intelligent level of this part, forms a closed loop with the quality detection system, improves the adjustment accuracy, prolongs the service life, improves the staff work efficiency and facilitates the staff operation.

Design and Implementation of CAN Bus Real-time Monitor Based on Cigarette Set Based on Computer-aided Technology

This paper introduces the connection mode of CAN bus on PR0T0S70 coiling unit based on computer-aided technology. Data transmission and reception are accomplished by CAN bus communication, and centralized processing and decentralized control are realized. In this paper, CAN bus technology is used to realize distributed control of cigarette machine equipment. The actual operation effect is stable and reliable. This paper expounds the necessity of the design of the monitor based on computer-aided technology. With PCI-9810 (non-intelligent single-channel CAN card) as the hardware interface, this paper develops a real-time CAN bus monitor based on DSP.

Design and application of double closed loop weight control system for cigarette maker

In order to solve the problem that the precision of cigarette weight control system is not high enough in cigarette machine production, a double closed loop weight control system of cigarette machine is designed according to the characteristics of cigarette machine control system. This system takes IPC as the control core. Firstly, the current cigarette weight is obtained, then the weight deviation is calculated, and then the distance to be moved by the actuator is calculated based on the deviation. Then the current position of the actuator is obtained, and the target position of the actuator is calculated. The results show that the long-term deviation of the weight control system using the double closed-loop control method can be reduced to less than 4.0mg during the production of the target weight of 490mg cigarette, which is 0.8mg lower than that of the single closed-loop control method. This technology can improve the quality of cigarette process and reduce the overall consumption.

Design and Application of Cigarette Maker’s Online Inspection System for Cigarette Appearance

In order to solve the problem that the continuous appearance inspection of the online product of the single-piece can not be carried out during the process, the online appearance inspection system of the cigarette-making unit was designed according to the running characteristics of the machine. The device is mainly composed of a camera control unit, a light source control unit, a signal processing unit and a data communication unit. The system first obtains the cigarette machine production status and single cigarette segmentation signals of continuous cigarettes through an axis encoder. The light source control unit and camera control unit work together to obtain images of a single cigarette at different stations, and perform realtime calculation and integration through the signal processing unit. After the shaft encoder, the processed signal is aligned with the cigarette, and finally the rejection is performed through the rejection valve. The ZJ17 rolling unit and cigarette products with a diameter of 5.4mm, a total length of 84mm, a cigarette length of 54mm, and a filter length of 30mm were tested. The results showed that the online appearance inspection system of the cigarette unit of the rolling unit had a detection accuracy rate of ⩾ 98%, missed rejection rate ⩽ 2%, false rejection rate ⩽ 2%. The device realizes the continuous detection of the appearance of the single product of the spliced product online, and opens up new ideas for the quality assurance of the appearance of the spliced product.

Design of Intelligent Control System for Cigarettes

In order to solve a series of cigarette quality problems, such as removing not completely of cigarette machine defected, wrong brand of temporarily storing cigarette, quality tracking of problem cigarettes. Based on internet of things and data acquisition, an intelligent cigarette control system is designed. Based on the technology of RFID and communication with the data acquisition control system, the target of a comprehension cigarette quality control has come true. And has the function of brand comparison, the unqualified cigarette marked, the condition monitoring and so on. The machine of PROTUS 70 was used for testing, the results show that: The system can realize a series of functions, such as the marking of unqualified cigarettes, comparison of cigarette brands, comprehension status monitoring of temporary cigarette and quality tracing.

A Method of Characterizing the Filling Power of Cut Tobacco Through the Cigarette Maker Parameters

Filling power is one of the important parameters to characterize the physical structure of cut tobacco. At present, the detection method of cut tobacco filling power cannot reflect the true filling power value of tobacco in real time and accurately, so an intelligent online filling power detection method of the cigarette machine is designed. According to the mechanical position of the suction forming part and the position parameters of the suction belt of the cigarette maker, the linear regression relationship between simulated filling power value and standard filling power value was obtained, the regression relation is applied to the cigarette manufacturing process, then calculate filling power value of cut tobacco in real time. This method has the following advantages:1. in real time;2. reflecting the abnormality of tobacco structure in the cigarette manufacturing process when the filling power exceeds a certain range;3. realizing the linkage between the change of cigarette cut tobacco structure and the physical indicators of cigarettes, then guaranteeing the stability of mainstream smoke chemical indicators and sensory intrinsic quality.

Design of a Circular Blade Cleaning Device for the Filter Rod of YJ212 Cigarette Machine

The ZJ112 type Cigarette machine is a home-made type of PROTOS 90E. When the equipment is running, the filter rod of the filter rod is often deposited with glue, which causes the overloading of the drive motor of the circular blade and the transmission of the transmission gear shaft and so on, which seriously affects the efficiency of the equipment. By designing an automatic cleaning device to clean up the adhesive on the circular blade, it reduces the frequency of the circular blade glue accumulating, improves the stability of the equipment and effectively reduces the working strength of the equipment maintenance and maintenance.

Determination of nicotine content in teeth submitted to prophylaxis and in-office bleaching by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS).

The objective of this study was to evaluate the dental color exposed to acute cigarette smoke treatment and quantify the amount of nicotine in samples exposed to cigarette smoke, after dental prophylaxis and after in-office bleaching. Sixty-nine healthy human molars were subjected to cigarette smoke in a cigarette machine. The teeth were divided into three groups: positive control, prophylaxis, and bleaching. Forty cycles of smoke exposition with duration of 15min each were performed using 10 cigarettes (positive control). Dental prophylaxis was performed with a rotating brush and prophylaxis paste; in-office bleaching was performed with 35% hydrogen peroxide, in two sessions of three 15-min applications, with a 1-week interval between sessions. The color was evaluated at the baseline, after exposure to cigarette smoke, after dental prophylaxis, and after in-office bleaching. Teeth from each group were powdered and analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry in order to measure the amount of nicotine present in each group. Data from quantification of nicotine and color change were analyzed by one-way ANOVA and Tukey's test (α = 0.05). Data for subjective and objective color evaluation, a perceptible dental darkening occurred in teeth after exposure to cigarette smoke. Dental prophylaxis was able to recover the original color of teeth however, only after bleaching teeth became whiter than at the baseline (p< 0.001). The amount of nicotine was significantly different and higher in positive control group (3.3 ± 1.3μg/g of tooth), followed by the prophylaxis group (2.1 ± 1.4μg/g) and the bleaching group (0.8 ± 0.3μg/g) (p< 0.001). Cigarette smoke penetrates into the dental structure. Dental prophylaxis and bleaching with 35% hydrogen peroxide can partially remove the nicotine from tobacco smoke. However, when in-office bleaching was applied, a more significant nicotine removal was achieved. Dental prophylaxis could remove most of the external nicotine-staining on the tooth surfaces while bleaching could further reduce the external and internal nicotine-staining of teeth.

A Novel NDT Method for Coercive Force of Grain-Oriented Electrical Steel Applied in Cigarette Machines

Coercive force of grain-oriented electrical steel applied in cigarette machines is tested by a novel NDT method in which Barkhausen noise was applied. Linear relationship between coercive force and Barkhausen noise of conventional and high-permeability electrical steel was built and the precision of the model was verified. Experimental results show that the coercive force is linearly related to Barkhausen noise. The variation of coercive force with magnetic induction intensity increase was also interpreted in view of magnetic domain changing process, and the correlation formula derivation of MBN and coercive force domain wall was illustrated as well.

The Design and Application of the Curved Plate Adjust Tooling of PROTOS Cigarette Machine

If the gap between the curved plate and throw cut tobacco roller of the throwing tobacco agency in PROTOS cigarette machine is improperly adjusted, easily lead to the curved plate wear faster, tobacco-made pieces increases, short cigarettes increased. However, there is no a adjust tooling for the curved plate. To solve this problem, a new type of curved plate adjust tooling is designed. The three movable reference wheels used to test and adjust the gap instead of the reference plane. The application results show that the new tooling is an effective solution to solve the installation and adjustment problems of the curved plate. The installation and adjustment of working hours decreased from 2.5 hours to 1.5 hours. It also ensures the curved plate mounting quality and precision requirements and reduces tobacco-made pieces rate and cigarettes short rate.

The Design and Application of the Platen Roller Pressure Regulating Device of PROTOS1-8 Cigarette Machine

If the wear and the replace frequency of rubber platen rollers of PROTOS1-8 Cigarette Machine can be reduce, easily lead to the stable of the force of paper feed and reducing the time of maintenance and spare parts consumption. However, there is no a new device for adjusting pressure of platen rollers. To solve this problem, a new type of device for adjusting pressure of platen rollers is designed. The three movable reference wheels used to test and adjust the gap instead of the reference plane. Application results shows that using the new device can effectively solve the excessive wear of the rubber platen roller. The amount of rubber rollers for replacing is reduced to 6 compare of 22 before and the maintenance time is reduced to 19 hours compare of 115 hours before during the statistical time. It also improve the operating efficiency of this type of equipment.

Experimental Study on the Stability of Pneumatic Cut Tobacco Feeding System

According to the process performance of cigarette machines system, the device was established to measure the stability of pneumatic cut tobacco feeding system, which was signified as the flow deviation coefficients of branch circuits. The state and process of pneumatic feeding system were simulated respectively by shutting one branch, and then it paid close attention to the changing of flow rates or velocities in other branch circuits. The flow deviation coefficients were calculated with the experimental data, and the results shown that shutting down one branch, the flow deviation coefficients of other branches is always below 12%.The results will do some benefits to the design of cut tobacco pneumatic conveying system in the engineering application.

Design and Research on Online Sampling Device of New Cigarette Making Machine

The paper introduces the structure and design principles of online sampling device of a new high-speed cigarette machine. The device is an important part of C2 cigarette online sampling and measurement system, it gets samples from the high-speed cigarette maker machine's conveiying line and send samples to C2 measuring instrument for testing, and it achieved the goal of automatic on-line monitoring of cigarette physical parameters. The device has compact structure and expediently installation, which makes it not only replace manual sampling of high-speed cigarette making machine, but also detect and display various physical parameters of cigarette in real time.

The Design and Application of the Turnover Drum Tooling of PROTOS Cigarette Machine

It is difficult to disassembly and time-consuming when the turnover drum need to repair or maintenance due to the turnover drum is a complex structure and high precision parts in PROTOS cigarette machine and the original special tooling has some limitations. To solve this problem, a new type of turnover drum tooling is designed. The application results show that the new tooling is an effective solution to solve the turnover drum maintenance difficulties, disassembly time-consuming problem. The maintenance lead time reduce from 12 hours to 4 hours. It also ensures accuracy of parts after the dismantling of the turnover drum and eliminates the security risks that exist in the repair process.

The Design and Application of the Guide Rod of PROTOS Cigarette Machine

When the PROTOS cigarette machine for paper printing system is expanding the cigarette paper, it produce a lot of dust which easy to adhere to the ink roller and stamp fonts gap, leading to the cigarette stamp dirty, fuzzy cigarette product quality defects. To solve this problem, a negative pressure vacuum system is installed inside the guide rod of the cigarette paper, which help to discharge the cigarette dust to the dust removal system, and improve guide ring of the guide rod to reducing the friction. The application results show that the negative pressure vacuum is an effective solution to solve the dust floated problem. The unqualified rate reduce from 161.3PPM to 26.1PPM.It improve the effective operation of the device and ensure product quality.
