The legendary history of the Jewish people has made them a nation that has been separated from the homeland and turned the ideal of returning there into a tribal and religious rule. However, despite such longing, it cannot be said that the Jews did not want to adapt to the countries they were in. Under favourable conditions, Jews were also concerned about integrating into the society. Herein, it is possible to see them in the social and political structure, prominently and behind the scenes. Andalus is one of the regions where Jews settled following the Roman exile. Although Jewish activity was encountered during the rule of Christians, the main period in which they became visible and contributed to the society was the centuries the rule of Muslims. During this period, Jews were influential in social, cultural and economic terms and partly in political life. The fact that Jews were a bridge between Christian Europe and Muslim Andalus contributed to the construction of modern Europe. Yet this part of Jewish history is overlooked. In one sense, this means that the construction process of Europe cannot be fully explained. This study aims to examine the Jewish immigration from Palestine to Andalus and their lives tehere and their contributions to the both societies. In the article, the Jews' own sources are mainly included. As a result of the study, it was predicted that the Muslim-Jewish coexistence experienced in Andalus could be an example for today as well.
