Analyzing the effectivity of evidence-based practice in health science higher education: a narrative review.

Although multiple strategies have been suggested for evidence-based practice educational interventions, few studies have focused on the development of abilities for evidence-based practice implementation. To explore the effectiveness of evidence-based practice in higher education and understand its teaching methods. Narrative review was conducted at the Universidade Municipal de São Caetano do Sul, Brazil. Narrative review included research studies that measured any type of evidence-based practice teaching method and its effectiveness. Searches included publications from inception to June 2022, conducted on MEDLINE, EMBASE, CINAHL, CENTRAL, ERIC, and the Cochrane Library. Two independent authors descriptively extracted and analyzed the data. The methodological quality of the studies was also analyzed. The results determined that 79.2% of the studies proved their effectiveness. Teaching methods varied according to the time period, format, and types of questionnaire. Most studies demonstrated the effectiveness of the chosen teaching methods. This study shows the importance of health professionals using evidence-based practice to ensure effective patient treatment.

Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) in learning entrepreneurship subjects at SMAN 1 Lembang

The lesson plan or Rencana Pelakssanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), serves as a crucial guideline for educators at SMAN 1 Lembang, especially in teaching the subject of entrepreneurship. The continuity of this learning process is essential, considering the rapid dynamics in the business and economic world, requiring students to be skilled in facing future challenges. This research aims to evaluate the school's effectiveness, design, implementation, and evaluation of the Entrepreneurship RPP. The research method uses a qualitative approach with interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Researchers collected data from the internet and sources, namely teachers or teaching staff at SMAN 1 Lembang. The research findings indicate that the effectiveness of learning is closely related to well-planned and implemented RPP, supported by teaching methods suitable for the components of the subject matter. A well-structured RPP serves as a practical guide to achieving learning objectives. Teachers must be selective in choosing teaching methods that align with the needs and content. This research emphasizes the importance of RPP as a supporting tool in directing structured and effective learning at SMAN 1 Lembang, contributing to enhancing educational quality in the school.

Student Survey as a Tool for Improving the Educational Process in Higher Education

Introduction. The relevance of the selected topic is justified that it’s need to improve the educational process in order to improve the quality of education and students satisfaction of higher educational institutions. One of the most effective ways to get feedback from students which is based on the results of studying the discipline is a questionnaire. However, the methodology of conducting questionnaires requires adjustments in the direction of increasing student engagement.Objective. Determine the potential to use the student questionnaire method to improve the learning process and increase student satisfaction with the results of the study of disciplines.Materials and Methods. The research methodology is based on an experiment involving the questioning of students, the subsequent modification of teaching practice is based on the results obtained and the questioning of students who studied the subject after the introduction of adjustments. The survey was conducted using a developed questionnaire that includes questions which are related to various aspects of learning.Results. The results are obtained confirm the hypothesis that receiving feedback from students allows us to identify areas for improving the teaching process in order to increase the effectiveness of achieving learning outcomes and increase student satisfaction. The students who took part in the study not only evaluated various elements of the learning process, but also formulated specific suggestions for its improvement. The study showed the importance of using various, including interactive teaching methods and tasks, that contribute to the development of critical thinking, as well as receiving regular feedback from the teacher to increase student motivation. It’s based on these conclusions, the authors propose a unique tool that should be used by the teacher at the end of every lesson – reflection in the form of a cinquain.Discussion. The obtained results which consistent with of other studies on the problems of student questionnaires to improve teaching practice. The survey also allows students to be involved in the process of building a program and choosing teaching methods based on their needs. One of the limitations of the approach used is the use of a single source of information in the form of feedback from students through questionnaires, while some studies emphasize the effectiveness of combining questionnaires with other methods of evaluating the quality of learning to increase the reliability of results. Incorporating the Value of Religious Moderation in Islamic Education Learning

This article aims to analyze strategies, methods and models for internalizing the values of religious moderation through the role of teachers and learning Islamic education through curriculum and learning, as well as their implications for forming student character. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques use semi-structured interviews, supporting documentation and observations of a series of learning processes in and outside the classroom. Checking the validity of the data uses triangulation techniques. Data analysis was carried out using the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding/verification. This research shows that internalising religious moderation values includes planning, implementation, organizing and evaluation. Several methods of internalizing the importance of religious moderation include exemplary methods, motivation, habituation, insertion methods, enforcing rules and choosing teaching methods. In general, internalization can be grouped through the learning culture approach in the classroom and school culture. The stages include transforming values, building communication and interaction between teachers and students and synergizing mental attitudes and personalities. The model for integrating the importance of religious moderation through the Islamic education curriculum and learning can be carried out using informative insertion, confirmative insertion and corrective insertion methods. The implications of internalizing the values of religious moderation positively impact increasing student discipline, tolerance, compliance with school rules, respect, and social awareness.

<p>In this article, are considered the achievements and problems of the innovative educational project "Chess" implemented by Armenian State Pedagogical University named after Khachatur Abovyan in secondary schools. The purpose of the study: to identify the mechanisms of research and pedagogical interaction, as well as to analyze and summarize the results of many years of research of psychological and pedagogical support of the educational course "Chess in elementary school". The main research methods were the analysis and synthesis of the conducted studies, as well as the generalization of previously done empirical studies. Various empirical methods and methodological developments were applied: sociological survey, structured interview methods, focus group method, document content analysis, questionnaire method, testing, contextual questionnaires, projective drawing techniques, etc. The results of the research made it possible to correlate the educational results of the university subject "Theory and Practice of Teaching Chess" with the characteristics of qualifications in the specialty "Pedagogy" in the general educational standards for the subject "Chess". Accordingly, the methodological component was revised, providing educational results in the subject, which made it possible to ensure the diversity and expediency of the chosen teaching methods. Research results were taken into account, indicating the need to integrate chess with mathematics and other subjects, since chess have high potential for the development of such cognitive processes and skills of the 21st century as: decision making, critical thinking, cooperation and creative thinking is high. We determined the main provisions of the correlations between the research and educational activities of the university and educational institutions, and revealed the mechanisms of this interaction.</p>

IMPLEMENTASI SUPERVISI AKADEMIK KEPALA MADRASAH TERHADAP GURU DI MADRASAH ALIYAH ISLAM TERPADU DARUL FIKRI SIDOARJO

The implementation of academic supervision in education has three stages, namely planning, implementation and evaluation. The role of the madrasa head in academic supervision of teachers is very important in every activity carried out at the madrasa. A supervisor has the ability to shape the characteristics and capacities of teaching staff, as well as coordinate and guide the growth and development of their abilities both individually and collectively. As a supervisor, the madrasa head supports teaching staff in preparing educational supervision programs, carrying out supervision using the correct approaches and supervision techniques, and evaluating the results of academic supervision. This research aims to find out how madrasa heads implement supervision of educators at MAIT Darul Fikri Sidoarjo. This research is qualitative research which aims to obtain an accurate, systematic and factual description of the characteristics, facts and relationships between the phenomena discussed. The methods used by the author in this research are interviews, observation and documentation. The subjects of this research were the head of the madrasah and the deputy curriculum educator. The collected data is then analyzed using data analysis. From the results of this research, the author can conclude that the head of the madrasah has carried out academic supervision in accordance with success indicators. The head of the madrasah guides educators in choosing teaching methods, directs educators in choosing teaching materials and conducting class visits

PEMBELAJARAN MENGANALISIS UNSUR ALUR TEKS CERPEN DENGAN MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING BERORIENTASI PADA PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN BERKOMUNIKASI PESERTA DIDIK KELAS XI SMA PASUNDAN 1 TAHUN PELAJARAN 2022/2023

This study is motivated by the low ability of students in analyzing the elements of a short story builder focusing on the plot element of the short story. This is due to the lack of variety of educators in choosing teaching methods and model. The selection of varied teaching methods and model can increase motivation and interest in learning. The purpose of this study was to assess the author's ability to plan, implement, and assess learning using the discovery learning model; assess the ability of students using the discovery learning model; assess the effectiveness of the discovery learning model in learning to analyze the plot elements of short story text; and assess the difference in the ability of the experimental class using the discovery learning model with the control class that applied the discussion method. The research approach used is a pseudo-experimental quantitative approach. The research design was pretest-posttest control group design. The data obtained, namely the pretest and posttest results of the experimental and control classes at Pasundan 1 High School Class XI. The results of this study prove that:1) the author is able to plan, implement, and assess learning by obtaining an average of 4 on planning and 3.84 on implementation; 2) the ability of students increases on the pretest average of 48 to 98.50 on the posttest; 3) discovery learning is effectively used in learning to analyze the plot of short story texts, as evidenced by the results of the Mann-Whitney test showing asymp. sig. 0.002; and 4) there are differences in the ability of students in the experimental class and control class, as evidenced by the results of the Wilcoxon test showing asymp. sig. in the experimental and control classes is 0.003. Thus, the discovery learning model is effectively used in learning to analyze the plot elements of short story text.

The Influence of Teachers' Creativity on Learning Motivation to Read the Qur'an at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Sumbawa

Teachers are educators, mentors, coaches, and curriculum balancers who can create conditions and a conducive learning atmosphere, such as a fun, interesting learning atmosphere, giving students space to think actively and innovatively in exploring and elaborating their abilities. The teacher's role is very important in improving student learning achievement so they must be more creative in choosing teaching methods. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of teacher creativity on motivation to learn to read the Koran in students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Sumbawa. This type of research is ex post facto comparative causal research using a quantitative approach. The research instrument was a questionnaire based on the research procedures used in this study. Data analysis was carried out through research instrument tests which included validity and reliability followed by the classical assumption test. The method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that teacher creativity has a direct effect on learning motivation. Because it has a probability value (0.000) <0.05, which means there is a positive and significant influence between teacher creativity on learning motivation. This means that the higher the teacher's creativity in teaching, the higher the learning motivation of students in class X Madarasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Sumbawa.

With mixed learning technology, the content of students’ personal activity in learning is not only knowledge, the following pedagogical conditions are implemented in the organization of training: setting goals, implementing students’ personal qualities and its reflection take place in an open educational environment. The article considers a model of the development of cognitive activity of learning aimed at personal qualities of a person. The development model includes: a new diagnostic tool, its role, content, methods, forms and means of teaching; new criteria for choosing teaching methods: the level of cognitive activity of students and learning conditions in the classroom; polymodal training based on the comprehensive implementation of the principle of visibility, taking into account the individual characteristics of students. The components of methodological support for the organization of individual activities of students during training using mixed learning technology are determined. The set of personal qualities characterizing their interrelation and creative self-realization is revealed. Based on the results of the pedagogical experiment, scientific and practical recommendations were developed for the design and implementation of individual activities of students in mixed learning.

The influence of a group of Chinese EFL teachers’ beliefs on lesson planning with video-based synchronous computer-mediated communication: A qualitative multiple case study

In recent years, Video-based Synchronous Computer-Mediated Communication (VSCMC) has been applied in EFL education for young Chinese learners. VSCMC teaching, as distinctive from face-to-face teaching, brings numerous planning challenges for teachers using technology. Research has shown that teacher beliefs significantly affect lesson planning for technology integration. However, teacher beliefs towards VSCMC specifically have been insufficiently studied in the field of EFL education for young learners. The purpose of this qualitative multiple case study was to explore how teacher beliefs influence lesson planning regarding VSCMC teaching. Semi structured interviews were conducted with six Chinese teachers of young EFL learners. The results indicated that participants had transitional pedagogical beliefs, strong self-efficacy beliefs, and a complex set of value beliefs towards VSCMC teaching. Accordingly, these beliefs motivated them to teach in VSCMC settings in particular ways and influenced their lesson planning processes in terms of determining learning objectives, designing course content, and choosing teaching methods.

Pedagogical practice contributes to the development of the versatile qualities of a university graduate and the implementation of a competence-based approach in teaching. Changing modern educational goals, the competence-based approach sets new guidelines for the content and results of education. In the educational process of the university, the primary task is not the formation of certain knowledge, abilities and skills, but the integration of knowledge and practice as the basis of the graduate's ability to use the knowledge and experience acquired during training in solving professional problems. Pedagogical practice orients future teachers towards pedagogical activity and provides the function of a link between the theoretical knowledge gained during the assimilation of the university educational program and the practical activity of introducing this knowledge into the educational process. When choosing teaching methods, it is important to take into account the specifics of pedagogical practice: along with mastering theoretical knowledge, skills and abilities, it is important to teach students the practical actions necessary for high-quality and highly productive performance of professional duties and to develop the ability to independently acquire and creatively apply professional knowledge. This specificity of the formation of professional competencies within the framework of practice requires a combination of all types of teaching methods: reproductive, problem-search, research, simulation methods and methods of practical training. The basic principles of guiding students' activities in practice include the principles of an individual approach, a combination of pedagogical leadership with the development of independence and initiative of students, the principle of feedback.

ALGORITHMIC SUPPORT OF THE WEB SERVICE RECOMMENDATION SYSTEM FOR LEARNING FOREIGN LANGUAGES

This work is devoted to the analysis of algorithmic support of multimedia content recommender systems and the development of a web service toincrease the efficiency of learning foreign languages using a recommender system that personalized the selection of educational content for the user.To form a list of necessary multimedia content, the main criteria of the recommender system were selected, the basic needs of users were identified,which the system should solve, since increasing the efficiency of learning a foreign language is achieved not only by choosing teaching methods, butalso by watching multimedia content, namely news, films, educational videos, clips, etc. Therefore, in order to form a list of the necessary multimediacontent, the main criteria of the recommender system were formed, the main needs of users were identified, which the system must solve. From theside of the method for implementing algorithmic support, various types of data filtering were considered, from modern technical methods to librariesto ensure the functionality of the system, and the algorithm based on hybrid filtering was chosen, in which known user ratings are used to predict thepreferences of another user. Functional requirements have been developed and a web service has been proposed that allows a comprehensive impact onuser learning when learning a foreign language, software implementation of which is made using Java Script, Python and additional libraries. Thisimplementation allows you to build a process for tracking changes in user requirements and transfer information to the database (DB) and, afteranalyzing the input data, change the proposed multimedia content to the user. In the course of further research, it is planned to conduct practicalexperiments, taking into account the specifics of certain methods of teaching foreign languages and the use of statistical data to assess the effectivenessof the algorithm of the proposed recommender system.

Traditional folk dances within the subject Music Culture find their application within the teaching area of the subject Performing Music. As teaching content of the subject, they contribute to the preservation of folk tradition and the positive attitude of students towards this area of our people's culture. By choosing teaching methods and approaches, traditional folk dances are also an educational tool for younger students. The paper also gives musical examples of traditional folk dances on the way they are performed. The purpose of this paper is to point out the importance and application of traditional folk dances in teaching Music Culture. The aim of the research is to examine different aspects of teachers' opinions on the application of traditional folk dances within Music Culture. The obtained results indicate positive attitudes of teachers when it comes to the application of traditional folk dances, as well as moderately positive when it comes to importance of traditional folk dances application

ВЫБОР МЕТОДОВ ФОРМИРОВАНИЯ ГОТОВНОСТИ СТУДЕНТОВ – БУДУЩИХ ИНЖЕНЕРОВ К ПРОФЕССИОНАЛЬНОМУ ИНОЯЗЫЧНОМУ ОБЩЕНИЮ

Introduction. The present study identifies the reasons for choosing teaching methods to prepare students majoring in engineering for professional foreign language communication and presents specific teaching methods. The scientific novelty of this paper is the selection of criteria for choosing the methods to shape the readiness of future engineers for professional foreign language communication, correlated with the readiness components. The theoretical significance lies in the expansion of the understanding of shaping the readiness for professional foreign language communication through a reasonable choice of methods correlated with the components of the studied phenomenon. The practical value of the research is in the use of the specific teaching methods in the educational process to shape the readiness of undergraduates majoring in “Mechanical Engineering: Welding Production” at the Siberian Federal University (Krasnoyarsk). The findings can be applied in teaching a foreign language to students of various specialties. Materials and methods. General theoretical methods employed to achieve the research goal are an analysis of regulatory information; comparative analysis of teaching methods; analysis and synthesis; and reflexive-evaluative procedures, which justify the choice of teaching methods in accordance with the set goal. The research materials are psychological and pedagogical sources, including scientific papers, dissertations, monographs, etc. Research results. The requirements for the choice of teaching methods are supplemented by the requirement for the communication with a focus on the studied readiness for professional foreign language communication, the need to increase motivation and the ability to get a specific visible result. The study proves that the readiness for foreign language communication in future professional activities can be effectively achieved using active teaching methods, in particular, brainstorming, case method, and game technologies. These methods consider the communicative nature of the phenomenon shaped and the professional context in its implementation when teaching English to undergraduates majoring in “Mechanical Engineering: Welding Production” at the Siberian Federal University (Krasnoyarsk). The practical application of the game-based method in the scenario of lessons and its expected results are presented. Conclusions. The research examines one of the pedagogical conditions related to the choice of a teaching method that allows involving students in cognitive activity in a professionally oriented educational environment. The grounds for the choice of teaching methods that shape the readiness of future engineers for professional foreign language communication are indicated. The methods for the productive preparation of students for professional foreign language communication are selected in accordance with the requirements of the competency-based and the activity-based approaches. Three active teaching methods have been identified to achieve this goal within the educational process of students specializing in “Mechanical Engineering: Welding Production.” These are brainstorming, case study method, and game methods. The practical application of the research results is relevant in the context of teaching a foreign language to students majoring in various disciplines. Health education teachers' historical bodies: constructing teacher identity and teaching information evaluation

PurposeThis article describes how Finnish health education teachers verbalise and construct their teacher identity based on their lifestyle, subject area and relationships with their students.Design/methodology/approachNarrative interviews were conducted amongst eight secondary and upper secondary school teachers. The nexus analysis was used to analyse teachers' methods of teaching students information-seeking, evaluation and critical thinking skills.FindingsThe teachers' historical bodies – their skills, interests, information-seeking habits and familiar sources – impacted the chosen teaching methods. The results indicate that teacher identity is constructed along different paths and is constantly performed and transformed in the classroom through interactions with students.Originality/valueThe study illustrates the reconstruction of teacher identity through interaction in interviews. Teachers act as role models, information gatekeepers and trustees who guide students to choose credible health information sources.

Competencies of an innovation manager: methodological aspects of the maturity level and development program making

The article reflects the methodological aspects of diagnosing the level of formation of competenciesof the manager of innovative activity. The article discusses the competencies of the managerial profession– working at the average managerial level and engaged in innovative activities. An approach to theformation of a model of competencies of the manager of innovation in the form of an ordered list of fivegroups: professional, functional, digital, sociocultural and cognitive competencies are proposed. Themethodology was tested on the example of a focus group of managers of innovative activities of the citiesof Nur-Sultan and Almaty. A matrix of ranking the competencies of the managers of innovation hasbeen developed, which allows determining the priorities for the development of competencies accordingto the criteria of importance and problem. Criteria for choosing teaching methods and developingcompetencies (the number of trainees, practical orientation, level of preparedness, level of educationalmotivation and cognitive activity, cost and duration of training) are determined. The characteristic ofthe most common methods is given and an algorithm is proposed for choosing the method of trainingand developing the competencies of the manager of innovation according to the selected criteria. Theresults of the study show that the important functional competencies of innovative activity among therespondents fell into the category of «lagging behind» and the degree of formation of most professionalcompetencies is not at the proper level of development.

the article deals with the issues based on interactive strategies and methods of education. Author analyses the efficiency of using interactive technologies during the lesson. Currently, modern methods of teaching are widely used in the educational process. The use of modern teaching methods will result in higher learning efficiency. While choosing teaching methods, it is advisable to choose from each lesson's didactic task. Maintaining a traditional form of teaching and enriching it with techniques that enhance the activity of different learners will lead to an increased level of student learning. For this purpose, the organization of the classroom process, the learner's interest in the learning process, the constant encouragement of the learner in the learning process, the breakdown of the learning material into small pieces, the brainstorming in small groups, the debate, the problem, the direction and using techniques such as text, project, role-playing, and encouraging learners to carry out practical exercises independently. These techniques are also called interactive or interactive methods. Interactive methods are those that encourage learners to think independently and are at the center of the learning process. When these methods are used, the educator encourages the learner to participate more actively. The learner is involved throughout the process.
