Metode Storytelling sebagai upaya mengembangkan Percaya Diri pada anak Pasca Gempa di Cianjur

The purpose of this study was to develop self-confidence skills through storytelling methods or telling stories to children aged 5-6 years after the earthquake in Cianjur, West Java. The design used includes a qualitative research approach with descriptive analysis methods. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation, and documentation. This research was conducted in Sarampad village, Cibulak village, Cigenang District. Cianjur Regency, West Java province. In this study, it was found that the storytelling method can be used as an effort to develop children's confidence after the earthquake in Cianjur. With observations made during the implementation of this study with stages of planning, implementation and evaluation showed a good and enthusiastic response of children participating in activities. With this, researchers concluded that the Storytelling method was effectively used to develop children's self-confidence after the earthquake in Cianjur, West Java.

Motivation as A Stimulus for Developing Self-Confidence in Children with Special Needs

Motivation is the drive to do something that comes from within or from outside the self to achieve a certain goal. Self-confidence can be formed from the motivation given by parents, teachers, and the surrounding environment. Motivation becomes a force in complex conditions and prepares oneself, especially a child with special needs to achieve his expectations. Surveys show that there are still many children with special needs who are not or have not been able to independently get the opportunity to develop their identity. In this study, we focused on children with special needs how to provide motivation to develop high self-confidence so that children with special needs can be more comfortable in creating and expressing themselves. The location of our research was taken at the aora inclusive skills school in Surabaya. The purpose of this study was to find out how the role of motivation to develop self-confidence in children with special needs. This training uses a descriptive qualitative research approach, where data is obtained through interviews, obervation, and documentation. There were 70 respondents, of which the principal was the informant in this study. An attempt to convince by motivating children with special needs that they are whole, unique human beings and have advantages over other normal children. It can be concluded that self-confidence can be increased by memotoivating in the form of encouragement by teachers, especially by their parents, that they can do something without help from others.

Instilling Self-Confidence Character in Siminal Siminul Dance Learning at Merpati Blora Course and Training Institute

Self-confidence for early childhood is still minimal, especially when it comes to interact with the surrounding environment. The lack of self-confidence indication appears in Siminal Siminul Dance learning at LKP Merpati Blora, which the children feeling shy and afraid to perform in public following by the lack of courage to express their opinions. The purpose of the study was to analyze the Instilling of self-confidence character in Siminal Siminul Dance learning at LKP Merpati Blora. The method used in the research was a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Data validity techniques used triangulation of sources, methods and theories while data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed success in instilling self-confidence through 4 indicators at LKP Merpati Blora in learning Siminal Siminul Dance, namely, believing in one's own abilities resulted the students experiencing changes from 6 students to 20 students. Independent in making decisions aimed at success with changes from 9 students to 20 students. Positive thinking resulted in changes from 6 students to 20 students and the courage to express opinions from 6 students to 16 students. The results of this study are expected to be literature to add insight for the readers regarding the benefits of dance learning to increase children's self-confidence.

Changes in Children's Self-Confidence Level after Participating in Confident Child School Program 2018 - 2022

This study aims to determine the level of self-confidence of the beneficiaries of the Sekolah Anak Percaya Diri program. The sample in this study were students of the Sekolah Anak Percaya Diri program as many as 57 children or all participants who actively participated in the program. The results of the analysis show that every year the self-confidence of children who take part in the Sekolah Anak Percaya Diri program has increased with the final results as many as 45 children in the good category, 11 children in the medium category and 1 child for the less category.

One of the factors that influence a child's self-confidence is a less supportive environment. Self-confidence is an attitude or belief that a person has for his abilities. One of the efforts that can be done to foster self-confidence in a child is by conducting group guidance. In this group guidance service, there is a change or effect on the individual himself. Where the self-confidence of students before and after group guidance experienced a difference, namely experiencing a better and more active increase.

Dukungan sosial dan kepercayaan diri orang tua yang memiliki anak berkebutuhan khusus

This research uses correlational quantitative method. Participants in this study amounted to 40 people consisting of fathers and mothers of parents of children with special needs. The data analysis of this research used mediation analysis with the help of the Statistical Program for Windows (SPSS). The results of this study indicate that social support has a positive and significant relationship with self-confidence in children's parents. The suggestion in this study is that the results of this study can be used as a basis for developing social support in the community for parents who have children with special needs and for further researchers to be able to examine other psychological resources as an effort to increase self-confidence in parents who have children with special needs. special.

Penerapan Metode Show and Tell Serta Memberi Dorongan dan Dukungan Guna Menimbulkan Kepercayaan Diri Anak.

During development period, children are actively seeking their identity by interacting with their peers both in the real world and in cyberspace. In every aspects of the human personality, self-confidence is an important indicator for one's success in relation to the activities he does. However, there are things that cannot be denied that the level of self-confidence possessed by each individual is different, and this is influenced by other factors besides the process of maturing itself. To generate self-confidence in children at Panti Asuhan Cinta Kasih Medan, activities that can encourage and support children are carried out with the show and tell method which aims to help children achieve their goals, which is referred to as the emergence of self-confidence. With the emergence of self-confidence in children, it will help children show themselves and is good for children's self-development. It is highly expected that this will educate how important it is to help children and provide encouragement and support for children to have self-confidence and be able to express and develop themselves.

Menumbuhkan Rasa Percaya Diri pada Anak Melalui Permainan Peran Bersama Mahasiswa Kesejahteraan Sosial Fisip USU

Children are the nation's golden generation who will become the cornerstone of a country to be successful or not. During the developmental period of children, it is important for them to gain self-confidence. Good self-confidence will bring children to be able to explore something without feeling ashamed, insecure, or afraid. During the implementation of PKL II conducted by the writer at the Yayasan Panti Asuhan Sosial Bina Mandiri, Medan, the writer found a problem in a group of orphanage children. Confidence is their main problem, this is based on the results of observations of researchers while carrying out work practices. The author hereby seeks to help children to be able to grow their self-confidence, by using the group work method as an approach and in handling it the author applies role playing to encourage children to have self-confidence. The author believes that role play is effective for exploring and bringing back children's self-confidence. The author hopes that this role play can be one of the things that can be done as a way of solving their problems.

Peningkatan Sikap Rasa Percaya Diri Peserta melalui Metode Eksperimen di SDN 56/I Desa Aro

This study aims to examine the increase in students' self-confidence in learning activities at SDN 56/I Desa Aro. experiment. The type of this research is classroom action research, using a qualitative research type using research subjects are class VI students, totaling 21 students. Data collection was obtained by using observation techniques. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative data analysis. From the research conducted, it was found that the ability of children's self-confidence developed according to expectations. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the experimental method could improve the self-confidence of students at SDN 56/I in Aro Village.

Peran Apresiasi Orang Tua Dalam Proses Pendidikan Anak di Rumah untuk Membangun Sikap Percaya Diri di Kalangan Siswa Kelas VIII SMPN 1 Bogor

Self-confidence is a very important aspect, especially in the student learning process, with confidence there will be a process of change in students not only in learning outcomes but also in student behavior and attitudes, namely courage, activeness, and student self-actualization during the teaching and learning process. Building a confident attitude needs to be supported by several things, especially the family environment (parents). This study describes how the role of parents in giving appreciation to foster self-confidence in children in home education. This study aims to determine how the role of parental appreciation in building children's self-confidence and what factors hinder and support efforts to build children's self-confidence. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The data was validated using the data source triangulation technique (combined observation, interview, and documentation). The sources and informants in this study are teachers, students, and parents of students. The results stated that parental appreciation acts as a motivation for children to be enthusiastic about learning, as an increase in children's creativity, and as an increase in children's independence. Factors that act as supporters and inhibitors are, cooperation between parents and children, mutual openness and understanding between parents and children, parents’ educational background, economic background, environment, free time that parents provide, parents' busyness, and fulfillment of children's needs by parents.

How do parenting patterns and level of religiosity affect adolescent confidence?

Self-confidence is one aspect of personality that is important in adolescent development. Self-confidence plays a role in making a meaningful contribution to the process of one's life. This study aimed to determine the extent to which self-confidence in adolescents is influenced by parenting and the level of religiosity. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that proper parenting is the first step in growing self-confidence in children. Democratic parenting has a significant influence on the level of self-confidence of adolescents. In addition, the religious level also influences, although not significantly, adolescents' self-confidence.

Media Pembelajaran Berbahan Loose Part Berbasis STEAM Dapat Membangun Merdeka Belajar Pada Anak Usia Dini

The purpose of this study is to analyze how learning media with media made from loose parts are an effort to build independent early childhood learning. This research method is a descriptive qualitative research. Research data collection techniques are by observation and interviews. The research was conducted at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 1 Kindergarten Wonosegoro with a total of 16 research subjects consisting of 11 female students and 5 male students. The research steps started from lesson planning to learning evaluation and follow-up. The results showed that learning with loose part media can provide freedom to play and learn so that it can build independent early childhood learning. This can be seen from increasing children's creativity, encouraging children to be active in their learning, increasing children's independence, training children's ability to work together, and building self-confidence in children. The teacher's strategy is to use loose teachers to arrange a comfortable play environment for children. Part of learning is that children are free to determine the play activities and materials they want.

ANALISIS PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA SOSIAL TIKTOK PADA PERUBAHAN PERILAKU SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR DI JORONG PASAR SIJUNJUNG NAGARI SIJUNJUNG

Behavior change is a process of change experienced by a person based on what is obtained and learned through various sources such as family, friends, environment or himself. The process of change in a person is determined by his conditions and needs. The use of the tiktok application in elementary school-age children will definitely have an impact on changing children's behavior because basically children have the trait of imitating. The formulation of the problem in this research is how to change the behavior of elementary school-aged children using the tiktok application in Jorong Pasar Sijunjung Nagari Sijunjung, and the purpose of this study is to describe changes in the behavior of elementary school-age children as users of the tiktok application in Jorong Pasar Sijunjung Nagari Sijunjung. The theory used in this study is the social action theory proposed by Max Weber. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive method. Data collection methods are through interviews and observation. Interviews were conducted with 22 informants, the informants in this study were taken using a purposive sampling technique. The data analysis model is through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. From the results of the study it was revealed that elementary school-age children first recognized the tiktok application from their closest environment such as parents, siblings or even peers. The tiktok application has an impact on changing children's behavior, changes that occur in children can be positive and negative changes. The impact of positive behavior changes such as increasing children's creativity in making a work, increasing children's self-confidence, increasing children's interest in learning. Negative behavior changes such as a child's lack of interest in doing homework, changes in speech, and the child's timing is not effective. It can be concluded that the impact of changing the behavior of elementary school-age children in using the tiktok application has not only positive but also negative impacts, so parental supervision is needed.

Gender Education Concept for Elementary Age Children

Gender education is an effort to instill a sense of tolerance and tolerance in children from the start. This study attempts to analyze the concept of gender education for elementary age children. The formulation of the discussion of this research includes how to internalize the values of gender in children from a very early age, educate children about the urgency of gender and events about influencing factors. This study uses an approach to the literature study method. The data source and analysis of this research study used research material data obtained from SINTA or Google Scholar. The results of this study found that (1) efforts to internalize the value of gender behavior in children can be done through a sense of equality (without anything special or not special), giving children freedom (democracy), exemplifying tolerance and equality in children (exemplary), and respecting children. other people's feelings; (2) educating children through parenting regardless of gender, fostering children's self-confidence, appreciating children's positive traits, and facilitating children's development and skills; and (3) factors that influence gender development, namely biological, social and cognitive aspects.

UPAYA GURU DALAM MENANGANI ANAK DISLEKSIA DI SD INTIS SCHOOL YOGYAKARTA

Teachers are not only required to be able to teach in class. However, another important qualification is being able to provide targeted guidance. The lack of teacher knowledge about the difficulties experienced by students is an important thing that must be overcome. One of them is difficulty reading (dyslexia) which is still foreign to teachers in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the efforts of teachers in guiding dyslexic children at SD INTIS School Yogyakarta. This research is a field research based on descriptive qualitative research. Data sources are from the Principal, Teachers in Charge of Inclusion and Classroom Teachers. Data collection techniques through observation and in-depth interviews. The results showed that (1) SD INTIS School Yogyakarta had identified children with dyslexia. With the help of an examination by a psychologist, it can be stated that the child has dyslexia, that is, the child has difficulty in spelling at an age that should be fluent in reading, (2) The efforts made by the teacher to guide dyslexic children are by understanding the child's condition, building the child's self-confidence, and by constantly practicing reading. Even though they haven't used a specific method for dyslexic children, the teacher has used spelling methods and drill methods (practice) which also have an effect on children. In addition, the teacher also takes a personal approach so that children feel they have a place for dyslexic children to tell all of their children's anxieties

 Self-confidence is very important and must be owned by a teenager to achieve success in the future. But the fact is that in Indonesia itself, there are still children who lack high self-confidence, especially in the school environment. However, the low self-confidence in adolescents is not only caused by school factors, it can be caused by other factors, one of which is parents. The role of parents in fostering self-confidence in children is very influential. Lack of parental attention to children can be caused by parental divorce. This study uses a literature review that synthesizes theories and concepts from various opinions about how parental divorce can cause a lack of confidence in children through the Adlerian Islamic therapy approach.

This can be seen in the increase in children's creativity, encouraging children to be active in learning, increasing children's independence, training children's ability to work together, and building of self-confidence in children. The teacher's strategy in taking advantage of the teacher's leeway is to organize a comfortable playing environment for children. Part of learning is that children can determine the play activities and materials they want.

THE IMPORTANCE OF GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING IN EFFECTIVE SCHOOL LEARNING

Guidance and counselling are essential for a child's future success in school. The study acknowledges that counselling is a transformative process that assists people in learning everything they need to learn both inside and outside of school. Design / Methodology / Approach: Because this is an opinion paper, the study used to review research techniques. Findings: The paper acknowledges that counsellors must build the child's confidence in order for him or her to be able to provide the necessary information in order to help the child (students). Practical implications: Guidance counsellors should encourage students to attend therapy sessions to assist the child in their future success. Originality / Importance: This paper discusses the role of guidance and counselling in effective teaching and learning in schools for children's future success.
