Development of E-Handout Based on Audiovisual Fiqih Material for Women as an Effort to Provide Religious Character in Class IV Students of Primary Schools and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah

Education is a planned effort so that each individual is able to achieve various life achievements, including spiritual achievements. One of the religious characters is obedience to God Almighty. This character can be achieved if students have a good understanding of obedience material, one of which is women's jurisprudence. Based on observations, 78% of class IV students at SD Bojonegoro do not understand this material well. Apart from that, the content of material about women's jurisprudence in class IV students of primary schools and madrasah ibtidaiyah textbooks is very minimal, so accompanying teaching materials are needed. Then, students' interest in reading using books or worksheets is very low, students prefer to use devices, because there are videos, pictures and animations. Therefore, developing audio-visual based teaching materials via the Google site is considered very necessary. This teaching material is presented in electronic form by displaying videos, images and animations. This research aims to determine the results of the development of an e-handout on women's fiqh material. The research method used is the Borg & Gall model Research and Development (R&D) method. The results of the development of an audio-visual based e-handout on women's jurisprudence material were declared suitable for use. This is proven by the material expert validation results being 80% (feasible), the media expert validation results being 77% (valid category), and the language expert validation being 76% (feasible), then the question expert validation results being 86% (very feasible) and the student response results were 83% (very interesting).

EXPLORING THE INFLUENCE OF LEARNING RATE ON THE DEEP LEARNING CLASSIFICATION PERFORMANCE: A TIFINAGH HANDWRITTEN CHARACTERS CASE STUDY

Pattern recognition remains an essential field in the world of scientific research, particularly with the development of new technologies such as machine learning and deep learning, and their application in various aspects of life. Indeed, the recognition and classification of handwritten characters have earned considerable attention in researchers' studies. In this context, we present a comparative study of the most widely used deep learning convolutional neural networks' (CNNs) architectures, including DenseNet201, Inception_Resnet_V2, Inception_V3, MobileNet_V2, ResNet50, VGG16, and VGG19, to automatically recognize and classify Tifinagh handwritten characters. The proposed paper has been tested using the Amazigh Handwritten Character Data-base (AMHCD). This work examines the impact of learning rate on classification performance and analyzes the added value of using a cyclical learning rate. A statistical study, in particular the Scott-Knott algorithm and Borda Count method, applied to the obtained results, displays that the fine-tuned version of Inception_Resnet_V2 with a learning rate of 0.0001 and the use of cyclical learning rate yields the best classification performance. This performance is shown by an accuracy of 99.66%, sensitivity of 99.95%, specificity of 99.99%, precision of 99.64%, and an F1 score of 99.65%.

Implications of the Role Playing Learning Model in Developing Social Care Characters in Social Sciences Subjects for Class V Students of UPT SPF SDN Mangkura I Makassar City

This research aims to analyze the application of the role playing learning model in developing social care character in class V students at UPT SPF SDN Mangkura I Makassar City in social studies subjects. Using qualitative research methods, this research involved the Principal, Class Teacher, and 5 students. The research results show that the role playing learning model significantly improves students' social care character, increases their sensitivity to social issues, and encourages active participation in group activities that require cooperation and empathy. This model also makes it easier for students to understand abstract social concepts through direct practice in situations that are relevant to everyday life. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of implementing interactive and participatory learning methods in forming students' positive character.

THE INFLUENCE OF THE ACTUALIZATION OF PACASILA VALUES ON THE STRENGTHENING OF STUDENT CHARACTER

This study aims to determine how much influence the actualization of Pancasila values ​​of students. The method that researchers used in this research is descriptive analysis method with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Sources of data obtained from class X students of SMAN 1 Garut. This study shows that, there is an influence of the actualization of Pancasila values ​​in strengthening the character of class X students of SMAN 1 Garut. By actualizing the values ​​of Pancasila and applying its values ​​in everyday life, it will affect the character of students. Students apply Pancasila values ​​that have been actualized, so their character will also have an effect. This is evident from the research results of 43.4% that the actualization of Pancasila values ​​influences the character of students and the other 56.6% is influenced by attitudes of nationalism and patriotism. The implementation of the actualization of Pancasila values ​​and the character of students is not only the responsibility of Civics and religion teachers but is the responsibility of all teachers and elements of society, therefore in its application all teachers and elements of society can pay attention.

Landscape Character Classification with a Deep Neural Network: A Case Study of the Jianghan Plain

Grounded in the theoretical and methodological frameworks of landscape character identification from the European Landscape Map (LANMAP) and landscape character assessment (LCA), this study developed an AI-based tool for landscape character analysis to classify the Jianghan Plain’s landscape more effectively. The proposed method leveraged a deep learning model, the artificial intelligence-based landscape character (AI-LC) classifier, along with specific naming and coding rules for the unique landscape character of the Jianghan Plain. Experimental results showed a significant improvement in classification accuracy, reaching 89% and 86% compared to traditional methods. The classifier identified 10 macro-level and 18 meso-level landscape character types within the region, which were further categorized into four primary zones—a lake network river basin, a hillfront terrace, surrounding mountains, and a lake network island hill—based on natural and social features. These advancements contributed to the theoretical framework of landscape character assessment, offering practical insights for landscape planning and conservation while highlighting AI’s transformative potential in environmental research and management.

Implementation of Digital Classroom State System for Teachers and Students Based on Large Models

Deep learning has become a hot field of artificial intelligence, and the deep learning large model framework has become a bridgehead for the active layout of Chinese and foreign technology companies. Large models play a significant role in the application field, greatly improving the efficiency of training and optimization, and contributing to the landing of many innovative artificial intelligence tools. Based on the Chinese PaddlePaddle large model framework, an application system is designed in combination with the intelligent classroom teaching scenario, which uses machine vision algorithms to distinguish and present teachers’ and students’ behaviors, that is, the digitization and multi-classification scheme of class character states. After having digital data, data analysis can be carried out to evaluate the class status of teachers and students, and the traditional subjective judgment such as peacetime grades and teaching ability can be upgraded to the objective judgment of artificial intelligence.

IMPLEMENTASI PEMBELAJARAN AKIDAH AKHLAK DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTER SISWA KELAS VIII DI MTS NEGERI 2 SUKOHARJO

Learning moral aqidah is one of the curricula taught at secondary education level which has a big influence on students' behavior, both in school life and outside of school. This research aims to find out how moral learning is implemented in shaping the character of Class VIII students at MTs Negeri 2 Sukoharjo. The approach in this research is a qualitative approach, using descriptive case study research. This research was conducted at MTs Negeri 2 Sukoharjo using data collection techniques in the form of observation and interviews. Aqidah Akhlak learning is used as a media for the process of forming polite character in students. This is supported by the role of Aqidah Akhlak teachers in directing and cultivating good moral character so that in the future students become good individuals in society. The culture of shaking hands before entering class at MTs Negeri 2 Sukoharjo is an inspiration for the polite character of students who need to be emulated in the millennial era.

The Role of Culture Mentabeq in Shaping the Character of Class 1 Students at SDN 2 Selengen

This study aims to determine the role of mentabeq culture in shaping the character of students at SDN 2 Selengen. This study is a qualitative study with a qualitative descriptive analysis model. The data and data sources in this study are primary and secondary. Primary data is data that is directly obtained from the source, namely the principal, class teachers, and students, while secondary data is supporting data that is useful for supporting primary data. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation, and the analysis techniques use data reduction, data classification, and drawing conclusions. In this study it was found that mentabeq culture can have a major influence on the formation of student character such as, good, polite, ethical, and obedient to the norms that apply both at school and in the community, because this culture is able to foster a sense of mutual respect between each other..

Pengaruh Pembelajaran Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) terhadap Karakter Siswa Kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 2 Kubung

This study aims to determine the extent of the influence of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project on the Character of Class VIII Students at SMP Negeri 2 Kubung. This type of research is quantitative research. The population and sample in this study were class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Kubung in the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 70 people. Sampling was carried out using the total sampling technique. Data collection techniques by means of observation, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive. The results of the study indicate that the Pancasila student profile strengthening project on student character shows a value (Sig). 0.00 <0.05 and the t count value is 7.667 while the t table value is 1.667. This means that t count> t table means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on the results, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence of the Pancasila student profile strengthening project on the character of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Kubung. The magnitude of the influence of the Pancasila student profile strengthening project on student character is 46.4%.

Meningkatkan Karakter Kepemimpinan Siswa dengan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning pada Materi Daud Sang Pemimpin Kelas V SD Yos Sudarso Cigugur

In the era of accelerated digitalization, various new problems have emerged among students, especially in the current post-pandemic era. Even though the development of technology and science is growing rapidly, it has given rise to various student character anomalies that are emerging now. The Covid-19 pandemic has had a negative impact on the Indonesian education sector. So there is a kind of alibi that during the pandemic, students did not receive enough character education during the period of social restrictions. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve students' leadership character in the education sector which is supported by increasing the variables of independence, discipline and responsibility. This effort is in line with the values ​​of the Pancasila Student Profile which affirms student competence in the dimensions of faith, devotion to God Almighty, and noble character, global diversity, mutual cooperation, independence, critical reasoning and creativity. The researcher assumes that to improve the leadership character of Class V students at Yos Sudarso Cigugur Elementary School based on Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM), the researcher applies the Problem Based Learning model as a strategy to support the process of actively developing student independence in two research cycles. Researchers conducted Classroom Action Research "Improving Student Leadership Character with a Problem Based Learning Model on Material from Daud the Class V Leader of Yos Sudarso Cigugur Elementary School" as an effort to overcome learning loss caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Meningkatkan Karakter Gotong Royong Peserta Didik dalam Pembelajaran PAKBP dengan Model PBL Fase C Kelas V di SDN 23 Periang

This research aims to describe the extent to which the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in PAKBP subjects can improve the mutual cooperation character of class V Phase C students at SDN 23 Periang, Kayan Hilir District, Sintang Regency. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK), with two cycles, namely cycle 1 and cycle 2. The activity stages are planning, implementation, observation, analysis and reflection which are carried out face to face. The research is entitled "Improving Students' Mutual Cooperation Character in PAKBP Learning Using the PBL Phase C Model for Class V at SDN 23 Periang." The research was carried out at SDN 23 Periang from 13 to 20 September 2024. The research subjects were students in class 5 Phase C. The object of the research was the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in improving the mutual cooperation character of students in class V Phase C. Data collection was carried out by means of direct observation and distribution of questionnaires. Data analysis techniques: data collection, data condensation, presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the PBL model can be an effective approach in developing students' cooperative character. The results of the research also show that there is a significant increase in the mutual cooperation character of students, and is able to encourage the growth of an attitude of mutual cooperation. Through group activities and structured discussions, students are trained to respect each other's differences of opinion, share responsibility, share information and collaborate to achieve common goals. .

Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Dan Bernalar Kritis Pakbp Melalui Model PBL Berbantuan Wayang Kardus Fase B Kelas IV

Nowadays, Critical Thinking plays a significant role and totally needed because it is closely related to the improvement of Profile Pelajar Pancasila as one of the Indonesian educational goals. It helps students to understand and prefer to be a selective person in giving and taking information, and it also makes the students become wiser in taking a decision based on Pancasila values. In fact, it is still found that there are many elementary school students' critical thinking abilities are still low. The purpose in doing this research is in order to know the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method to assisted cardboard puppet learning media on the result of learning and critical thinking skills in the subject of Catholic Religious Education and Character (PAKBP) about "The Ten Commandments of God as a Guide to Life" for grade 4th students, Phase B at Panggung Lor Elementary School, Semarang City. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The population in this research is 12 students grade IV at Panggung Lor Elementary School, Semarang City, in the 1st semester academic year of 2024-2025.In analyzing the data, the researcher used descriptive analysis. It includes the results of observations of students' critical thinking skill in the PAKBP learning process using the PBL method of assisted cardboard puppet learning media and test data result of students' learning.The results of observations of student activities are analyzed descriptively using percentage statistics. The results of the research show that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) with the help of cardboard puppets can improve learning outcomes and critical thinking abilities of students in the subject of Catholic Religious Education and Character Class IV, Phase B at Panggung Lor State Elementary School, Semarang City.

Dynamics of the event structure of the life course in Russia

The article presents the results of a comparative analysis of the life-event structure of generations of Russians based on empirical data from the Russian Social Survey (RSS) wave 9, comparable with ESS. The analysis showed that the life calendar of currently living generations of Russians is quite strongly structured - events occur in certain and rather narrow time intervals and in a certain sequence. A feature of the life calendar in Russia is a high concentration of all the basic events of the first phase of adult life in a narrow time interval, a short period of entry into adulthood. Events of the late stage of life show greater chronological diversity and scenario variability. Significant differences in the life-event matrix of generations in Russia were found, including an increase in the average age of onset of almost all basic life events, an expansion of the boundaries of age-related life stages, an extension of the path of growing up and the transition from maturity to old age, as well as diversification of life scenarios in the professional and family-marital spheres. When comparing the indices of standardisation of the main events between generations, a trend towards destandardisation of life paths was revealed: in older generations, the level of similarity is significantly higher than among younger generations. The main changes occurred in the generation of 1970-1979 and accelerated in the next generation of 1980-1989. Macro-demographic factors, as well as changes in socio-economic and historical conditions, the transition to a post-industrial society might be named among possible reasons. The trend towards destandardisation of life paths in older generations primarily affected people with a higher level of education, while in younger generations it acquired a broader social and class character; gender differences began to appear in the generation of the 1980s. The authors suggest that the increase in destandardisation of life paths may have multidirectional social and individual consequences. On the one hand, new opportunities for development, building a life path taking into account individual characteristics, talents and desires, greater flexibility of life trajectories, a decrease in normativity and social pressure. On the other hand, this may lead to increased uncertainty, social tension, increased inequalities, and a deepening conflict between “fathers and children,” which will increase social risks in the foreseeable future.

Enhanced license plate recognition using deep learning and block-based approach

This study investigates the effectiveness of current deep learning techniques in license plate detection and makes essential contributions. Instead of classifying the characters on Turkish license plates with a single classifier, the characters are divided into blocks of numbers and letters using various image processing techniques, and a separate classifier is used for each block. The proposed approach improves character classification accuracy and license plate recognition accuracy. This approach eliminated the possibility of misclassifying similar letters and numbers and improved the character classification accuracy from 95.9% to 99.6%. In addition, a new character feature dataset was created, and a deep learning model was trained on this dataset. Integrating this model into the system increased the classification accuracy to 99.7%. The YOLOv8 object detection model, trained using CUDA technology, achieved a mAP of 98.9%. The overall accuracy of the whole system in license plate recognition reached 97.3%. This study proves the effectiveness of current deep learning methods and the proposed block-based character recognition approach in license plate recognition.

Pengaruh Model Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) terhadap Motivasi Belajar Pendidikan Agama Kristen dan Budi Pekerti Siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Ujung Padang Kabupaten Simalungun Tahun Pembelajaran 2023/2024

The research aims to determine the positive and significant influence of the Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) Model on Learning Motivation for Christian Religious Education and Character in Class The research hypothesis is that there is a positive and significant influence between the Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) Model on Learning Motivation for Christian Religious Education and Characteristics of Class XI Students of SMA Negeri 1 Ujung Padang, Simalungun Regency, Academic Year 2023/2024. This research is a regression research using Inferential Statistics techniques. The population of all class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Ujung Padang who are Protestant Christians is 138 people. Random sampling (random sampling) is 30% of the total population, namely 40 people. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire. From the determination coefficient test, the value r2 = 0.555 is obtained. From the determination value (r2), it can be seen that the percentage of influence between the Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) Model on the Learning Motivation of Christian Religious Education and Character of Class XI Students of SMA Negeri 1 Ujung Padang, Simalungun Regency, Academic Year 2023/ 2024 is 55.5%. The results of the analysis requirements obtained values ​​rxy = 0.745> rtable = 0.312 and tcount = 6.896> ttable = 2.024 showing that there is a relationship between the Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) model and Christian Religious Education Learning Motivation and Character Characteristics of Students and obtained a regression equation Ŷ = 19.72 +0.564X. Hypothesis testing obtained Fcount=47.55>Ftable=4.09 so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Cooperative Learning Tipe Jigsaw terhadap Keaktifan Belajar Pendidikan Agama Kristen dan Budi Pekerti Peserta Didik Kelas XII SMK N 1 Siatas Barita Tahun Pembelajaran 2023/2024

The research aims to determine whether there is a positive and significant influence in the use of the jigsaw type copperative learning model on the active learning of Christian Religious Education and Character in class XI students at SMK Negeri 1 Siatas Barita for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research hypothesis is that there is a positive and significant influence between the jigsaw type cooperative learning model on the active learning of Christian Religious Education and Characteristics of class XI students at SMK Negeri 1 Siatas Barita for the 2023/2024 academic year. The population of class XI students at SMK Negeri 1 Siatas Barita Learning 2023/2024 who are Protestant Christians is 325 people. The research sample using random sampling technique was 18% of the total population, namely 58 people. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire. The results of data analysis obtained: The value rcount=0.673>rtabel=0.254 and tcount=6.809>ttable=2.00324 shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between the jigsaw type cooperative learning model and students' active learning in Christian Religious Education and Character. Regression equation . The determination test revealed that the magnitude of the effect was 45.29%. Hypothesis test Fcount=46.479>Ftable=3.15 then H0 (null hypothesis) is rejected and Ha (alternative hypothesis) is accepted. The research concluded that there was a positive and significant influence between the jigsaw cooperative learning model on the activeness of learning in Christian Religious Education and Character in class XI students at SMK Negeri 1 Siatas Barita for the 2023/2024 academic year.

The evolution of reproductive characters: an organismal-relational approach

This paper delves into the character concept as applied to reproduction. Our argument is that the prevailing functional-adaptationist perspective falls short in explaining the evolution of reproductive traits, and we propose an alternative organismal-relational approach that incorporates the developmental and interactive aspects of reproduction. To begin, we define the functional individuation of reproductive traits as evolutionary strategies aimed at enhancing fitness, and we demonstrate how this perspective influences the classification of reproductive characters and modes, the comprehension of shared traits as resulting from conflicts of evolutionary interest between individuals, and the explanation of reproductive diversity. After outlining the shortcomings of this framework, we introduce an organismal-relational approach grounded in evolutionary developmental studies of reproduction. This view provides a revised classification for reproductive characters and modes and offers a new understanding of interorganismal traits that takes into account their inherently relational nature. Lastly, we present the research agenda that emerges from this approach, which addresses the core explanatory gaps left by the adaptationist perspective, including the explanation of reproductive homologies and homoplasies, the developmental constraints associated with the evolution of reproductive modes, and the evolvability of reproductive characters.

Rethinking Multilingual Scene Text Spotting: A Novel Benchmark and a Character-Level Feature Based Approach

End-to-end multilingual scene text spotting aims to integrate scene text detection and recognition into a unified framework. Actually, the accuracy of text recognition largely depends on the accuracy of text detection. Due to the lackage of benchmarks with adequate and high-quality character-level annotations for multilingual scene text spotting, most of the existing methods train on the benchmarks only with word-level annotations. However, the performance of multilingual scene text spotting are not that satisfied training on the existing benchmarks, especially for those images with special layout or words out of vocabulary. In this paper, we proposed a simple YOLO-like baseline named CMSTR for character-level multilingual scene text spotting simultaneously and efficiently. Technically, for each text instance, we represent the character sequence as ordered points and model them with learnable explicit point queries. After passing a single decoder, the point queries have encoded requisite text semantics and locations, thus can be further decoded to the center line, boundary, script, and confidence of text via very simple prediction heads in parallel. Furthermore, we show the surprisingly good extensibility of our method, in terms of character class, language type, and task. On the one hand, DeepSolo not only performs well in English scenes but also masters the Chinese transcription with complex font structure and a thousand-level character classes. On the other hand, based on the extensibility of DeepSolo, we launch DeepSolo++ for multilingual text spotting, making a further step to let Transformer decoder with explicit points solo for multilingual text detection, recognition, and script identification all at once.
