The Effect of Educational Game Tools Rotating Series Story Cards on The Speaking Ability of Children 5-6 Years Old at TKIT Shalih Child Character Padang

The purpose of this study was to analyze the extent of the influence of the use of Rotating Series Story Cards on the speaking ability of children aged 5-6 years at TKIT Karakter Anak Shalih Padang. The type of research used is quantitative experimental research (Quasi Experimental Design), with a Nonequivalent Posttest-Only Control Group Deign approach), The research population is 5-6 year old children in Group B1 as the experimental class and B2 as the control class with a total of 30 students. Data collection was carried out by observation and checklists. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS 24.0, using tests and hypotheses. Based on the results of the study, it shows that there is a significant effect of using educational game tools for rotating series story cards on the speaking ability of children aged 5-6 years at TKIT Karakter Anak Shalih Padang, it can be seen from the statistical test results Based on the results of the Independent Sample T-test test, it can be seen that the significance value is 0.171 indicating that 0.171 ≥ 0.01 then ????0 is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of using educational game tools Rotating Series Story Cards on the speaking ability of children aged 5-6 years in TKIT Karakter Anak Shalih Padang.

The Impact of Students' Learning Interests and Parenting Patterns on Economic Learning Outcomes

The lack of parental attention to children's character education makes parents' parenting patterns less than optimal, so children's interest in learning decreases, which causes student learning outcomes not to meet the KKM at school. Therefore, this research aims to partially and simultaneously examine the influence of learning interests and parenting patterns on the economic learning outcomes of class XI students. This type of research is causal research. The population in this research was 107 students, and the sample used was 84 students. Data collection methods using questionnaires and documents were analyzed using multiple linear regression. Hypothesis testing using the t-test and F-test was processed using the SPSS 20.0 for the Windows program. This research shows that interest in learning and parenting patterns partially and simultaneously influence students' social studies learning outcomes, which are expressed at a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. Based on this, it is concluded that formal education must also be balanced with informal education provided by parents through good parenting. This will increase students' interest in learning so that student learning outcomes will improve. This research provides theoretical implications that the solution to increasing student interest in learning and learning outcomes can be done by applying informal education to balance formal education.

The Role of Parents in Shaping the Character of the Alpha Generation of Elementary School Age in the Digital Era

This research theoretically analyzes parents' role in shaping Generation Alpha's character at primary school age in the digital era. This research method uses qualitative methods of literature study. Research data sources are obtained from literature relevant to the research theme, such as books, scientific articles, or journals accessed from Google Scholar. Data analysis techniques use content analysis techniques. Furthermore, the results of the content analysis are concluded in accordance with the research objectives. The results showed that the role of parents in shaping the character of the alpha generation with the following details: (1) teach children to access various information through the internet correctly and be able to communicate civilly; (2) control or supervise the impressions accessed by the child; (3) limit the duration of time children play mobile phones; (4) invite children to play in open spaces to develop socially; (5) invite children to exercise or play that can develop children's physical motor. In addition to the five roles performed above, parents also need to fortify children with strong aqidah and ahklak and bring children closer to the Quran so that children's character is quickly developed and formed.

Increased diversity, increased (dis)approval? Measuring parental attitudes towards LGBTQ characters in Flemish children’s television

ABSTRACT This study examines parental attitudes towards LGBTQ characters in Flemish children’s television shows. Through a survey, this research aims to investigate predictors for the attitudes and levels of resistance among parents, considering specific sociodemographic characteristics and parents’ perceptions about the impact of television and children’s sexual development. Data were collected from 614 Flemish parents with children aged four to twelve. The results reveal overall positive attitudes towards LGBTQ inclusion. However, attitudes are more negative towards gender diversity (trans and non-binary characters) compared to sexual diversity (non-heterosexual characters). Furthermore, attitudes towards sexual diversity differ among parents: fathers display more negative attitudes compared to mothers, and resistance is highest for parents with a lower educational attainment. Parents who believe in the prosocial impact of LGBTQ representation exhibited more positive attitudes, whereas those with conventional beliefs about children’s sexual development displayed more resistance. This study offers insightful findings for future research, television producers, and media literacy initiatives aimed at providing a more inclusive media landscape and promoting acceptance among children and parents alike.

The principles of Pancasila play an important role in shaping children's character from an early age, but a lack of understanding of them can have negative impacts, such as the increase in bullying cases and the decline in children's interest in national anthems. This research aims to inform readers about the rise of bullying cases among children as well as the harmful effects of their lack of interest in national anthems, which in turn can raise awareness of the importance of the early introduction and application of Pancasila principles. The research method used is descriptive analysis to describe the meaning of Pancasila as the basis of the state, the importance of the application of Pancasila characters for elementary school children, the meaning of bullying, the factors that cause bullying, and the cause of the large number of children who do not memorize national anthems. Based on the results of the study, a lack of understanding of Pancasila principles can cause children to lose sight of the importance of respecting differences and understanding the values of equality. The implication can lead to bullying behavior among children as well as declining their interest in national anthems. This leads to the need to increase public awareness of the important role of Pancasila in shaping children's character, preventing bullying behavior, and declining interest in national anthems.

The Influence of Mass Media and Friends' Association on Student Delinquency in Public Elementary School 1 Purbasari Purbalingga

This study aims to investigates the impact of globalization on the declining character of children, focusing on the escalation of student delinquency influenced by mass media exposure and friendship dynamics among elementary school students. Employing a quantitative Cross-Sectional design and Total Sampling technique, data from 20 respondents were gathered through questionnaires and checklists to measure mass media consumption, friendship quality, and delinquent behavior. Statistical analyses, including the F-test and t-test, revealed that mass media exposure and friendship dynamics collectively accounted for 63.7% of the variance in student delinquency. These findings highlight the need for collaborative efforts between schools and parents to combat student delinquency, with implications for targeted interventions and educational initiatives to promote positive behavior among youth. Further research is warranted to explore the nuanced influences of mass media and friendships on student behavior and societal well-being.

The aim is to be able to evaluate teachers' difficulties. The evaluation results show that teachers lack teaching aids for character education. As a solution, workshops and performances are held for students. The workshop aims to learn how to play and make Wayang Beber Fable. The teachers succeeded in playing Wayang Beber Fable independently. This allows teachers to develop performance stories relevant to children's needs. Every Wayang Beber Fable performance always has a moral message in it. Early childhood needs moral teachings. At this stage, children learn to understand the world around them. Qahal Ceria faced obstacles in designing creative learning. This community services takes form in assisting teachers to design creative projects and materials. We designed 2 projects, coloring drawings and making ornaments using simple and natural materials. We expect these projects as references and hoped to motivate teachers for further development.

Revitalizing local wisdom within character education through ethnopedagogy apporach: A case study on a preschool in Yogyakarta

Ethnopedagogy serves as an educational approach capable of reshaping societal dynamics by preserving cultural values, thereby reinforcing a multicultural national identity. This study explored the potential of ethnopedagogy in revitalizing local wisdom within early childhood character education in Indonesia. This case study was performed at Pertiwi Kindergarten in Puro Pakualaman, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Data were gained through interviews and document analysis with teachers, parents, and school principals. Research data were checked for validity using data triangulation. The research findings demonstrated that ethnopedagogy enhanced children's awareness of local culture and nurtures character development by integrating local wisdom values into the learning process. Furthermore, involving local communities in character education improved community engagement in the educational journey, bolstering a sense of ownership over the school or learning environment, and strengthening social networks within the community. Ethnopedagogy is recommended to apply in early childhood education to develop children's character through the utilization of local wisdom.

Character education can equip young children to become Indonesia's golden generation who are superior and skilled in noble work. This research aims to produce an early childhood character learning model based on local Indonesian wisdom through the Playing Center title which will be implemented at Early Childhood Education Institutions (ECE) in Indonesia. This research method uses the steps of the Borg and Gall research and development model. The subjects in this research were 30 teachers from five ECE institutions in the DKI Jakarta area. The data used as the basis for building a framework for early childhood character learning models based on local intelligence were collected using observation and interview techniques. The findings show that the teacher prepares a learning plan program at the beginning of each semester which is listed in the weekly program and daily program. However, the teacher has not fully prepared a simulation program that leads directly to the introduction of early childhood character. Identification of character values ​​in early childhood is done by providing examples of behavior and speech at school. The media that has been used to identify children's characters is through posters and non-digital story books. The learning environment needs to be improved because teachers have not been optimal in organizing the play environment in providing stimulation to children in class. The results of this research will enrich the character education model following the potential of the institution and the cultural background of early childhood as Indonesia's golden generation. Utilizing sociological, anthropological, and psychological approaches, this paper aims to explore the concept of education based on the idea of sakinah. Qualitative data collected through library research and analyzed through content analysis is used in this writing. It is found that education based on sakinah will reduce the likelihood of children experiencing trauma, which will have a significant impact on their future, both emotionally and intellectually.

The main objective of this community service is to introduce the concept of trading to children or santri at TPQ Alif Lam Mim, Kedung Jumputrejo Village, Sukodono District with the aim of fostering an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age. The strategy method in this community service is Asset Based Community Development (ABCD). The results of the service showed that there were children's characters who began to dare to express opinions in negotiations based on what they wanted to get and began to grow their interest in entrepreneurship which was reflected in their enthusiasm.

This research uses a qualitative approach with a type of field research. Collecting data using interviews and non-participant observation. The data analysis technique consists of 3 stages, namely data condensation, data display, and conclusion/verification. The research findings show that: first, the role of single parents in shaping the religious character of children in Karduluk Village, Sumenep is carried out through 3 synergistic approaches, namely the advice approach, the exemplary approach, and the habituation approach; second, the role of single parents in shaping the religious character of children in Karduluk village, Sumenep has implications for 3 main aspects, namely the aspect of faith in the form of increasing confidence in children in the existence of Allah SWT; aspects of worship in the form of children's religious behavior that can be seen from their daily lives both in terms of mahdhah worship and ghairu mahdhah worship; and moral aspects in the form of children's attitudes and behavior that reflect religious values ​​and teachings.
