Students as the golden generation of 2045 are expected to be a superior generation to advance the civilization of the Indonesian nation. To realize the progress of the nation's civilization, a nationalistic character is needed. With the right Islamic leadership strategy, it will have a positive impact in developing the character of nationalism in students. Using qualitative research method, the case study approach of this research aims to find Islamic leadership strategies to develop the character of nationalism of students as the golden generation of 2045. The results of this research are Islamic leadership strategies in the form of: a) Strengthening the Vision and Mission of the institution which have implications for making students excel in religious knowledge, complete with general knowledge, and have a strong Nationalism character, b) Management of Recruitment of Educators and Education Personel which has implications for teacher recruitment policies that must have the ideology of the 4 Pillars of Nationality and have the understanding of Ahlus Sunnah wa Al-Jamaah Al-Nahdliyah, c) Regulating Teacher Regulations which has implications for the implementation of humanistic rewards and punishments, d) Implementing National and International Curriculum which has implications for the integration of Islamic Religious Subjects, Pancasila, and Citizenship Subjects, and the development of student communication competencies, e) Strengthening Student Organization Experience and Competition Assistance which has implications for the growth and development of Responsibility, Discipline, and Nationalism, f) Strict in the Process and Responsible for Learning Outcomes which has implications for the implementation of mastery learning and student acceptance in well-known universities
